Best Chinese food north of Nashua, including Vermont! Got a big takeout order for 9 and brought it to Vermont, about a half-hour drive away. Loved everything. They packed it all in a box and everything was perfect and ready to eat. And eat it, we did. Delicious. I'm from the North Shore of Massachusetts where we have good Chinese food in abundance, Sunny Garden is right there with them. In the Upper Valley, it's worth going out of your way for.

Somebody has a passion for what they are doing in the kitchen. Especially with meats and vegetables. I've been around when it comes to Asian restaurants. And sadly at some places the boneless spareribs are chewy as rubber bands and you could tow a trailer with the beef teriyaki. BUT NOT at this place... I'm not sure if it's some sort of marinading or manual tenderizing (hammer) but the boneless spare ribs and beef teriyaki melt in your mouth. The same is true with any dish containing these meats. So hats off to the passion in the kitchen. Sadly becoming a rare thing these days. Oh and a word must be said for the folks out front. Everyone I've dealt with isn't just well trained but it doesn't take long to realize that this group of people very much like what they do and who they do it for. A very pleasant, comfy place to dine and socialize. I hope you have the pleasure of meeting John, one of your hosts. About the friendliest and kindest person I know. You won't have to wonder if you're appreciated as a customer. John's smile will assure you of it. 5 stars for sure. I'm glad I don't live too far away.

Every time I am in town I eat here, this is the best Chinese food I've ever had in Newhampshire or Vermont. Hands down! The owners are great people, very friendly and accommodating. I even have friends that , if they know I'm going to be in the area, will ask me to pickup a box or two for takeout.

Best vegetable fried rice and crab ragoons we have ever had. All staff are usually very nice here- we are regulars- but there is one waitress (very short haircut) who has on every occasion acted short and impatient. Too bad because this place is great otherwise.

The service was excellent, including free tea with the meal and attentive staff. Food was priced like a take out place, but tasted more like a gourmet Chinese restaurant. Huge portions too, and there was even free WiFi. My friends and I were traveling and this place was perfect to stop in, get great food, and check our phones.

I've visited with my family many times after finding them again (my grandfather used to take my grandmother here, but he unfortunately passed away a few years ago and my grandmother had forgotten the name). Our experience has always been friendly staff and amazing food. They are always kind to me and my family, and between this place and House of Tang in Montpelier (the owner of which my family is great friends with), I can't imagine eating anywhere else.

The food and service are excellent! The staff is super friendly and accommodating! The only issue I had, and probably because it is summer, is that there were a number of flies in the restaurant which was super annoying.
