We love papagallos. Its consistently good food and good service. The decor is a bit funky with the whole grotto theme but its not badly done. The calamari Rhode island style is the best!

Delicious! The food was outstanding! Huge portions - very tender meat. The seafood chowder was extremely well seasoned. We had the chicken & veal dishes that were superb. Our waitress was fantastic - friendly & attentive. Very nice place for dinner.

We had a birthday party here in the function room, and it was wonderful! We had eaten many times at Papagallos and the food and service is always excellent. This was the first time using the function room and it was all wonderful! The service and food was terrific all around - they were great to talk to on the phone before the event, during the event and after. I would highly recommend Papagallos for a meal or an event! Thank you to everyone at Papagallos! You may a special man enjoy his special day! Everyone who attended raved about the food and the setting!

Excellent first experience! Waiter was very quick and efficient with our orders and keeping up with our table... only downside I'd say was the wait. Although that was only due to some event that was happening there so it couldn't be helped. Really good homemade bread with delicious olive oil dipping sauce which comes with any entree. I got the fettuccini alfredo and I'd say it was on par if not better than olive gardens. Little higher class than some places although many people didnt dress for it of those I had seen. Bottom line... very good food and friendly service. I recommend checking it out no matter who you are.

I had the fried haddock and it was delicious. My brother had thin noodles with meat sauce and he said it was very very good. Our waitress was very good informing us of all the specials. We can't wait to go back!!

Come here with an appetite, as they give you very generous servings. The food is somewhere between diner fare and home made by grandma fare, meaning it's delicious but not pretentious.

Prices went up and portions down. I asked for water with lemon and couldn't drink it because of strong chlorine. I ordered shrimp scampi, it as ruined by the chlorinated water it was prepared with. One other time I was there I ordered chicken parmesan, it was dry and tough. Just awful. The damn birthday audio came on about 6 times in one hour, obnoxious and disruptive.

Very unhappy with my food. I got a calzone and it was so burnt on the top. Could not really eat it. Disappointed this time. First the food was good. Not a big selection on the menu.

Food is honestly quite mediocre, especially if you have had good Italian and Greek food before. Fairly standard fare for NH. Cute decor if you like parrots. I had dinner and much later returned for the breakfast buffet and was even more disappointed, despite at first being excited by the variety. 2 stars for great service, cute decor. I really wanted to like this place.

We hosted my dads 80th birthday party at Papagallos and it was a huge hit. Only had 16 people attend but that didn't deter the staff from treating my dad like royalty. They met him at the door and led him to the table it made a great get together even better. My Dad ordered fried haddock and it was the biggest piece of haddock ive ever seen on a plate. First Class all the way!

All accommodations were met with a smile. It was appreciated, and added the finishing touch to a special day.

Ate here recently for the first time in several years. We had chicken tenders for an appetizer (there weren't many choices we found appealing) which were just ok. Definitely tasted like they came right out of a plastic bag in the freezer. The pizza, however, was one of the best I had ever had, mainly because of the excellent crust. Was thin and chewy. Delicious. The toppings were sparse, but of good quality, Not sure what the entrees are like, but I'd go back just for the pizza. Prices seemed reasonable and our server was decent.

Papagallos has become the go-to restaurant for pasta and all things good. We typically order out and while there have been a few mess ups we continue to go back because the food is THAT good. They have a terrific sauce and they are reasonably priced. I will say the "mess ups" have decreased to 0 as of late.

Two hour wait for food. Mine was cold when it did arrive. None of my meals here has been very good. One person with me had scallops that weren't fully cooked. Wait staff was good.

From the outside it looks kind of dull, mostly due to the surroundings and laid back demeanor. Inside is comforting and gives much for the eyes to feast on. It has a bit of that Rainforest Cafe feel but with it's own twist. The food is good and options are plenty. Brunch on Sunday is awesome, love the breakfast buffet.

We went in for Sunday brunch.. yum yum yum.. waitress was sweet, interested and attentive. She recommended the apple cider mimosa, which I decided to try and it was delicious. My wife and I were on vacation this week, we had dinner here on of the nights. We both thought our meal was delicious, She had chicken parmesan, I had Chicken Florentine. along with the wine this was a wonderful atmosphere and meal. We had 2 issues with the meal, there was a delay in our meal, and my wife had delicious chicken parm but she ordered Eggplant Parm. The next time we are in the Keene area for dinner we will definitely go back though.

Where do I even begin! The service was excellent, the atmosphere is perfect as always, the food was absolutely delicious with generous portions. Our waitress brought back my order with the wrong kind of pasta by mistake and promptly fixed it with zero hesitation, and perfect sympathy and kindness. Every staff person I encountered was dedicated to their patrons experience. The price is fair for what you get, and the quality of ingredients was tip top.

I went to Brunch. Incredible variety of breakfast and lunch dishes and desserts. Made to order omelets. Our waitress was friendly and extremely efficient. We went as a large group to celebrate my birthday. They sang happy birthday and gave me a free sundae with a candle in it which my great granddaughter happily claimed.
