I love the sushi here. It is well made and tastes great. Every time I go here I also get a miso soup and it is delicious. I like how you can sit closely to the area where the chefs are preparing the sushi as well as see the fresh fish that they are using. Prices aren't too high either so that is always a plus!

Very friendly staff here at Oriental Delight. The bar area is very cozy with plenty of seating. Great music selection by the bartenders, right now Tom Petty is serenading me while I eat my Dan Dan noodles. Cheers!

I have to begin by confessing that I am new to sushi. I have only had the stuff they package up at Hannaford. So I thought would surprise my wife, who loves sushi, by putting in a take-out order. The service was excellent, very friendly people. It took a good 20-25 minutes to prepare my order, which was fine with me because it seems that the sushi chefs take a great deal of pride in their work. The sushi was, quite simply, amazing. It was presented in an artful fashion, and was simply delicious. I'm not sophisticated enough in enjoying sushi yet to try octopus, so most of the rolls I ordered were salmon, tuna, or shrimp. I also very much enjoyed their cooked scallop rolls with a well-made spicy mayonnaise on top. It was fantastic, and has sparked my interest in trying different types of sushi in the future. Grabbed a few of their take-out menus on my way out, so that I can maybe take my wife there for a date night in the future. Either way, I will definitely be back. Highly recommended, deserves more than five starts for the quality of the food and the great service.

This place has great Chinese food but not so much when it comes to sushi unfortunately. But we've gone back there number of times as their Chinese dishes are very fresh, isn't greasy like others we've been to and the staff is also polite and friendly. One thing about this location is a great view of Central Ave with the large windows BUT can get cold near it during winter. Service overall is great and doesn't take long at all to get food. It is definitely busier towards end of the week and on weekends.

Have been coming here for several years, a few times a month. Food has been remarkabley consistent and very good.Have sampled several dishes from both menus...all very good. Sushi is on par with other restaurants in area. The portions are decent although some might consider main course dishes a tad under sized. Service is good. Don't hesitate... really good food with good service.

If you are here for the Chinese food, get something from their special menus. I got half of a boneless duck and it tastes amazing. It's also a pleasant experience to dine in, with a nice view of the street.

I called regarding a STAPLE IN MY FOOD ! The person said we staple to the bag. I said the staple was inside the chicken. He said you ordered the food earlier. Im like what does that have to do with anything? I was busy at work and finally had a chance to eat ! I demanded my money back and they can have my food. HE HUNG UP THE PHONE. I could of had something serious happen but obviously this place has serious sanitary issues. I am appauled at their lack of concern for such a SERIOUS matter. I had to drive in to the restaurant to bring the food back along with the staple. He didn’t even say we are sorry! Avoid this place or bring a metal detector with you.

Amazing sushi, and a huge menu of non-sushi Chinese and Japanese food. So no matter who you're going out with theres a lot to choose from. Also, the scorpion bowls are strong and worth the price.

I used to love this place for their quality and generous portions of sashimi. However, the last (and very last ) time I visited, I ordered a crunchy hamachi roll. There was a very large sharp bone inside. 3/4” long and pointed. When I brought the matter to attention I was awarded 2 extra scraps of eel with my already ordered unagi. Not acceptable .

Our dinner was fresh, hot, and well executed. The service was attentive but not intrusive. We were there on a Saturday evening about 5:30. The boneless spareribs were crispy but not sticky, and they were very fresh. We will be back !

Tried to eat here today. My 9yo son has a chronic illness and a gastronomy tube for nutrition. The pump that moves his liquid formula into his gut wasn't operating well and was beeping loudly every couple of minutes. There were 2 other tables occupied by customers and a couple folks in the bar. One of the employees approached me and told me to turn off the machine. I explained it was a food pump for my kid. He said it was bothering customers as he pointed over his shoulder to a room with a sushi counter.....that was devoid of customers! I commented that I wondered how the ADA would consider the situation. He didn't flinch. Our waiter came with my wife's food - and I told him not to bother bringing my order because I would rather spend my money anywhere else. I was shaking I was so angry. When we left (after paying for my wife's lunch), I asked the guy who told us to turn off the food pump which customers complained (knowing no one did). He just pointed to another employee. I said, "So it didn't bother any customers, just you - and you lied about it?" He said, "Yeah. Sorry. It was hurting my ears. They should have a volume control on that machine." Contemptible behavior! Fortunately my son didn't pick up on all this as he is developmentally delayed also. He's so sweet and innocent he just smiled through it all. This place will never get another cent from me. I pray this review will influence others who are, or have loved ones with, disabled/disabilities to "walk on by".

They were very helpful and accommodating our large party. I am not a sushi eater, but two of the people in our group were absolutely raving about some sushi thing that they were eating, and they are very familiar with sushi so I'm guessing it was pretty good. My food was very good. Wait staff was helpful but not intrusive.

Very good sushi, decent prices, and fast service. However, I have ordered off their non-sushi menu twice now and gotten food poisoning both times. The last time my friend and I both ordered shrimp, but in different dishes, and both got sick from it. I hate to give it a poor rating because everything else has been great, and everyone I have gone with has had a good experience, but I will be sticking to the sushi from now on.

Surprisingly wonderful Asian restaurant in a small NH town. Our party ordered Japanese & Chinese dishes; tempura & scallops apps were very good, the sushi was excellent. Teppanyaki sizzling platter was a good size. The breakout best dish was the Singapore noodles, a favourite of mine anyplace yet this was one of the best executions of the dish I've ever had. Very spicy! I would honestly make it back to Dover just to order the Singapore noodles in the future. Great server as well. Strolled through the cute downtown afterwards. Great experience with family during Thanksgiving week.

Our favorite Chinese spot in town! One time had the scorpion bowl in the restaurant, was delicious. But we typically get delivery. Scallion pancakes, lo mein, chicken, is all delicious. I would opt for fried dumplings over steamed dumplings as they have a lot of dough! But prices are fair as well as delivery time.

The food can be good at times but they literally mess up everything everytime, then give you a hard time about it. They are extremely rude and there delivery driver conveniently never has change so you give no tip or have to over tip by a ton. It's not worth the hassle you have to go through just to eat.

This place has inexpensive and tasty options for lunch. Dinner is a bit more pricey, but still delicious. The drinks are also above-average, but again, so are the prices. Service is quite good. Definitely worth a try if you are in Dover looking for Chinese food.
