My husband an I went up last month first time (and the last time) the service was good, the food we ordered was discussing. My meal came out cold I mean u couldn't even melt the butter on the potatoes an the portions of our meals for the price we paid was not even worth it. The seafood plater my husband got was not even worth the money. Small sliver of haddock couple shrimp an maybe a handful of fries. I told him that was not worth the money or our gas to go to this place. I give u two stars for the service we got.

If you love Raspberry pie, this is the place! They have the regular baked fruit pie but then they also have the refrigerated fresh pie. OMG...it is absolutely amazing! It doesn't have that gooey, super sweet gel consistency but is light with whole raspberries and a flaky light crust. The food is always good and hot. The wait staff is extremely personable and friendly.

Dave and I stop in whenever we are in the area and have yet to be disappointed. Generous servings of delicious home cooked food. Today we both had the julienne salad. Yes, I know - matchstick slices of tasteless ham, cheese and turkey. No, not here - huge salad, crispy fresh vegetables, delicious ham and cheese and real (yes, I said real) roasted chicken breast and about the best bleu cheese dressing around. Our wait person Janet was a treasure! She has been there 40 years. Their desserts are homemade. Worth the trip!!!

I’ve been coming here since I was a child. Before the fire, we would come almost everyday. Great restaurant to visit. I had the seafood platter. Fried clams, haddock, shrimp, and scallops. Everything was excellent except the scallops. They were still very sandy. The waitress addressed the issue. There is a great ice cream selection. Highly recommend to anyone here or passing thru.

This place is a normal local dinner with tourist stopping as well. Bit pricy for the food which is generic... Generic ketchup and watered down dressing tells the tale.

Got a large steak and cheese that was only 4 inches long. Literally 4 inches. Lol was supposed to be a bulky roll but they failed to mention they cut the bulky in 3rds. If you want to pay 2.50 an inch for a sub go to Northland dairy bar. Also very rude management.

Hell Yeah!!! Spent sometime ATV and Dirt Biking in the area. We of course got hungry looked at the sponsored trail map and found this spot. Stopped in for a quick bite to eat and it was a treat. Clean, quick, polite staff, and great food. If you are a trail rider looking to spend some money to support local business I would head to Northland Restaurant. Highly recommend for great food and service

Very lovely. Waitress was wonderful but not knowledgeable and ingredients in the foods (important to someone with allergies). Even the mashed potato was strange...very yellow and an odd of flavor. Meat and seafood was very good but we thought overpriced. The new place is pretty, but the old restaurant was better and more reasonable priced.

This was an interesting stop. We always try the local favorites. This place is definitely not a place to miss. Do yourself a favor and stop here. The menus needs to be updated, but the food is great and reasonably priced. Service was great and attentive. Will we be back? Yes we will.

I wanted to like this place more. The service was pretty good, if nothing to write home about. We waited almost an hour for food, and when it came, it was barely warm. My roast turkey dinner had about a tablespoon of stuffing and one small scoop of mashed potatoes. The flavors were there, but better had it been at least warm. The side dish of squash was hot and seasoned nicely, so kudos to the garnish chef. The only reason that this review made it to 3 stars was the dessert. Fresh raspberry pie was incredible. Chocolate lava cake was really good too.

Over the summer, Berlin has two main draws: ATV week and the Northland Dairy Bar. The dairy bar is a mainstay of the area, with its main draws being its fried seafood and many ice cream flavors. This place specializes in comfort food, with lots of choices of sides and lots of calories to go with them. The decor doesn't really match that (it's more of a vacuous hotel/post office) but that means you never have to worry about getting a table. If you're in the area and looking for a place to go out, there's no better place

This place has been a local staple for many, many years. Its one of the few restaurants in the immediate area so if you need a bite to eat you should give it a try. Don't be misled by the three stars. It has your basic clubs, BLT's, dressed up grill cheese, and good burgers. Also has quite a bit fried fish dishes. The food is by no means bad but the menu is limited and somewhat unimaginative. A really good menu appeals to me, hence the rating. With that said, I do visit once a week for a late afternoon lunch, early dinner. The service is very friendly and quick. If you're in the area and need a bite to eat you should check it out.

We stopped at this restaurant because it was literally the first place that served food on the road on our way back from camping in the woods. The inside is actually wayyyy more spacious and elegant than what you could guess from the outside. I was somewhat embarassed since I was in my have-been-in-the-woods-for-a-week-attire but maybe they are used to it

Service was great and friendly, but the food was not. Steak and cheese was dry, grisly and had no flavor, very small portion. Chowder had uncooked potatoes, pastrami sandwich had very little pastrami and very dry. Poutine was awful, because of the gravy and cheese flavor had to send back. Appetizers were good. Kids meals were good. But very disappointed for the price of the meals.

Very nice clean environment. Hubby had spaghetti said it was okay. I had a large veggie chef salad which was okay. They use iceberg lettuce and I prefer green or red leaf lettuce(with arugula if they have it). Anything but iceberg. We didn't eat anything else so that's all I can say.

Solid all-American country fare from chicken pot pie to soups and salads. Reasonably priced, tasty,, and ample portions. Nice setting, very clean, and good service. A little more creative spicing and ingredients would merit five stars.

Wonderful find. Best part is the views of the river from up above. You can often see an eagle, dear, and other wildlife. The fried haddock was great. Wouldn't do the sweet potato fries again they were crinkle-fries. Very friendly staff.

This place has amazing service and FANTASTIC food! Its classy and beautiful with wonderful views in the back. This is a perfect place for a perfect date. Their dessert options are also top of the line, considering they have an ice cream shop right on the other side of the restaurant. Fair prices for good food, everyone in Berlin loves to go here.
