This Restaurant belongs to the category of Chinese restaurant.
Very nice lunch specials and friendly staff. The food was delicious. Slightly pricy for a lunch special, but not unreasonable.
Food was great. Service was outstanding. We had a big group and they were very patient and got everything right.
Cubed chicken with cashews! Heaven!
OMG!!! Best Chinese food I have ever had!!!
Very nice atmosphere ,friendly staff .
I love their Pinapple shrimp. So much texture. Awsome restaurant.
Lilac Blossom has the second best Chinese food i have tasted. The inside of the restaurant is very well decorated and the bathrooms are not unpleasant. The service is excellent. I would recommend you go there
Good food reasonably priced. Good size portions and a wide variety of dishes to choose from.
Amazing food. Service leaves a little to be desired. Could use some more friendly and prompt servers with smiles.
Great food
What happened? The Spitbrook location was our favorite Chinese restaurant. Food was always consistenly good, but something has definitely changed (new owners?). Still has a nice atmosphere, but the food was very subpar. Ordered spicy malah chicken which was mushy and promptly sent back. Shredded beef with chili peppers texture was off too; don't think the wok was hot enough. Meat seemed steamed vice lighly seared. The brown rice is not the same. Used to be a short grain with a delicious nutty bite. Now it's longer grain, starchy and tasteless. Vegetable lo mein also tasteless; always thought Lilac Blossom had the best lo mein regardless of type. Tea was never brought to the table; had drinks so didn't request it, but it's a staple right? Table next to us also sent back a chicken dish because it was mushy. Unfortunately, a disappointing dining experience on many levels so won't be returning.
Went early on a Wednesday afternoon for lunch, ordering the General Tsao chicken. Food was good as was the service.
Excellent food excellent service
Best Asian food in the area
Everything was excellent
I ordered a pu pu platter from the exit 1 Nashua location about a month ago for a total of $35. When I took the food home it was chewy, over cooked and stale. I received a store credit for $26. I came in today to redeem my credit - I had to fight with the manager that I payed more than the credit given and I even had to PAY a $4 difference because the CHEAPO’s couldn’t spare the expense.
Great food, excellent prices and phenomenal service.
Great service and super tasty food.
This is an upscale restaurant with good food, service, and reasonable price.
Surprised this place is busy. The ambiance is great, very upscale compared to other asian restaurants. I am Asian and I eat authentic asian food, american asian food, even food court quality asian food. I dont complain a lot, but given the ambiance and prices of this place, I had high expectations. The egg drop soup was gross. Took one spoonful and had no compulsion for another bite. Just had an odd taste, absolutely wrong. I feel bad for my son who was super hungry and ate half a bowl of it before we tasted it - despite his starving condition he also didn't want to finish his soup. We got the lilac duck. The duck meat tasted like duck. Not in a good way -like eating goat cheese feels like you're sitting in the barn, smelling the barn, and tasting the barn. The duck had a gamey taste to it. I'm a fan of eating duck, but I've never had that taste before, yuck. Our other dishes - a chicken tofu dish and moo shu dish- were very salty. I didnt have enough rice to drown out the saltiness and the waiter never looked our way so we could refill our waters. After several attempts we finally managed to get his attention and at that point we just wanted our bill.
Had dinner here last night. So disappointing. Pu-Pou platter for 2 was awful. Cooked 2 death chicken wings, Beef Teriyaki was like rubber, shrimp was fishy. Had the house special fried rice, bland as could be, might as well have had white rice. General Tso's chicken was also over cooked but at least edible. Told the waiter it was not good he said sorry. Told the Mgr it was also not good and he said he would check into it. For the $70 it cost, I won't be going back...
Great Chinese food and atmosphere. Love the clean linens on your table with flowers. Many different dishes to try. Very unique and nice staff.
The perfect spot for a quick workday lunch. Plenty of room to discuss projects with your co-workers while enjoying some freshly prepared foods.
a great place to have date night with my husband
Always have very good food. Also decent and friendly service. This is one of the better Chinese restaurants I have been to in NH. Restaurant also has a formal feel making it perfect for special occasions. Bar is great for informal drinks and food.
Food is very good. Service excellent. A little too much MSG today though.
The best Chinese food you'll ever have in your life
As always excellent
Hrest
Food was excellent, waiter was also extremely nice.
Best Chinese food I've ever had. Clean upscale dining but not pricy. This is my go to when I'm in town.
I went to this place for the first time around 7pm on a Sunday. I ordered the Tangerine Chicken (which according to them it's one of their most popular dish) and the Mongolian Beef. For my appetizer I ordered their dumplings in a spicy sesame sauce. The waiter was nice but we were never served our complimentary tea, even though everyone around us had. Even people who arrived after we did were served their tea. The waiter passed by us a couple of times but never refilled our drinks. He only asked us if we wanted more drinks when we were done with our meal and were ready to leave. The chicken dish didn't really taste like tangerine nor was it spicy like the menu advertised. The portion was big as it should have been because it's only chicken with a side of rice. The Mongolian beef tasted good, so did the mushrooms in the dish but the meat was chewy. The beef portion was also moderately big with a side of rice. I was shocked when the waiter served us our appetizer. It looked so gross and not at all like dumplings. The dumplings were completely covered in a dark peanut butter sauce. It tasted really sweet with a strong peanut butter flavor and not at all spicy. It felt more like a dessert than anything else. Needless to say I was disappointed. Overall my experience there was pleasant but I don't see myself returning for their food.
So good we stopped by twice on a weekend trip. The food and service is great! We love Jason!
Food quality is good during lunchtime on weekdays. Lunch during more quiet weekend was very meh. The dish I had (ginger chicken with string beans) had a good spice though not nearly as good on a weekday. Service is good and consistent.
Great food and ambience...some of the best Chinese food I have had in USA. Period. Must visit..great takeout.
THE best place to get Chineese in Nashua.
Great food and good service
Excellent Chinese food. I like that they bring you the fried wonton strips with duck sauce.
I moved to Nashua in 1999 so have eaten at this and their other location over 200 times and never had a bad meal or serve. I do prefer this location over the one on 101A for it is newer and larger but hey the food is the same so it is all good.
Lilac duck & hot and sour soup & spinach tofu are my favorite.
Excellent food and service!
Always great, consistent food and service!
Good food but by no means amazing. Restaurant is nice inside, it has plenty of parking, and the wait staff is friendly. When I've gone it hasn't been busy. The restaurant isn't centrally located so there isn't much nearby. The food is very expensive for Nashua and isn't really worth it. I would recommend going elsewhere because there are plenty of much better options near by around the same price point.
Best Chinese ever!
In Nashua, for upscale Chinese cuisine, Lilac Blossom is really the only choice. Of the two locations I prefer this one, but I have eaten at both. Fresh, better quality ingredients, great service, and exceptional service are the norm. Lunch is quite affordable, and the specials more than make up for the lack of a buffet.
Best Chinese food we've found in NH so far, really good food
Great food just the sweet and sour chicken has a bit too much sweet and sour sauce on it. If they just put the sauce on the side it would be really tasty. And lilac blossom managers if you are reading this I'm saying I love love love your food just work on that sauce if you can.
Absolutely massive menu that’s somewhat overwhelming, but solid food and good service
I just can't love it like others. The chicken wings were reminiscent of some I got at Sam's club. I am not sure my Titos and club soda had titos, but it sure had flat club soda.
Great service, excellent food, and very reasonably priced.
My very first time at this restaurant. I had seen plenty of good reviews and it lived up to the expectations. The food was great, the waiter was excellent and the cost was comparable with the ambiance of the restaurant. This will definitely become my favorite chinese restaurant!
In my opinion this is the best Chinese food in the area. No MSG not salty, Gourmet!
Food is always fantastic. I have not ordered Chinese food from anywhere else after trying Lilac Blossom 5 yrs ago!!
The place was clean, had a wonderful Oriental decor that was very tasteful unlike many Chinese restaurants I have visited. The attire of the wait staff was very classy with white tuxedo shirts and bowties. The service was Swift and the food was good.
Very good food and service.
Order take out on Thanksgiving got rice crabragoonsbeef and broccoli and Spring roll. Came to almost $40 in for that price would expect it to be good . I was very wrong. The beef and broccoli the beef was chewy and mushy at the same time with a weird taste the rice taste burnt a d of old grease, the crab rangoon had off flavor and the Spring rolls were just plain gross as well. I usually Go to fung shway where the food is excellent this place doesn't even compare absolute trash will never go there again some of the worst most overpriced Chinese food I've ever had and I've had a lot Anyone that hasn't been there before do yourself a favor and go elsewhere save your money the Chinese food they serve in the mall is 10 times better
Typical Chinese fare, but really tasty. The service is very good, which, for me, is as important as the quality of the food. As far as I am concerned, if the service is poor, even if the food is good, I won't return to a restaurant unless I already know that place to have better service and can hopefully assume it to be a fluke that it was poor service.
Solid food at a solid price. Great atmosphere and great service!
One of my favorites in nashua
If you’re a fan of upscale dining, this is the restaurant for you. If you’re a fan of amazing Chinese food, this is the place for you. A staple in Nashua for fine Chinese cuisine for many years... the prices are very reasonable and the service is second to none. A must for Chinese food lovers!!!
Top 3 for Chinese food. Always fresh and delicious. Everything is good, but we love the szechuan sesame dumplings with peanut sauce. I've never seen them at any other restaurant.
Always good food and comfortable dining room.
This place is great. I have been to the one on 101A several times, but this was my first time at the one in S. Nashua. This is not your typical Chinese restaurant. Decorating is very nice and tasteful. Tables with real tablecloths and a fresh flower. Waitstaff is great. Attentive and very knowledgeable about menu items. Food is fantastic. I got an item off the lunch menu. Beef with broccoli, with brown rice. Also comes with your choice of 3 soups. Also they have the BEST tea I've ever had! Also they bring you fried wontons and duck sauce. Everything was delicious! Highly recommend!
First time at Lilac Blossom in Nashua and Elaine and I Loved it!
Always consistent
Felt rushed. No water offered. When different plates of food came out, it was just shoved on table instead of placing in empty spot. Food was good however felt like a number. Get them in and out. Sure not a place to relax and enjoy your meal with friends
Excellent everything. Waiter was the best.First time being there....Happy Friggin NEW YEAR
OMG.this new location is great. The food was spot on. Try the amazing chicken dish Everything was very good.
Just want to rave about the beautiful venue! Elegant in every way. Soaring ceilings and wide spacing between tables feels sumptuous and yet each area is private and cozy. Beautiful carpeting and well designed acoustics make for comfortable private conversation. There is a bank of huge, elegant windows that are designed to showcase not the parking lot but treetops, the big beautiful sky and even a glimpse of rolling hills in the distance. The linens, the tabletop flowers and the china are simple , beautiful and luxurious. The food presentation is beautiful. The decor is modern but not stark with charming (not overpowering) eastern artwork. Also the parking is plentiful and the entrance is wide, roomy with no stairs. Perfect for wheelchair patrons.
Awful service. So rude. Was told i couldn’t go into the dining area because of how i was dressed. AWFUL
Very nice restaurant...food is a step above the rest...great drinks
Both locations - Nashua and Dunstable - create the best tasting Chinese food in the area. Consistently provide fresh tasting entrees. Their General Tso's chicken is a personal favorite. Staff are polite and efficient. Highly recommend for both dine in and takeout.
Very good place. The service was excellent!
Great taste and huge menu. But I went during closing hours and had very bad guest service. Overall it is good but don't go in last one hr of closing.
The food and service are both very good. Unfortunately, the last few times I was there, the service was terrible. The waiter didn't bring what I ordered and was inattentive and service was slow. I don't see myself going here very often anymore.
Great food, great service!
Kinda of expensive. This is not a take out Chinese restaurant. But the food is good.
Great food and service, nice upscale atmosphere. Try their hot and sour seafood soup.
Food, prices and atmosphere are great. Service was a little slow and clumsy.
Best Chinese food and drinks. The waiter chuck is my mom and i's favorite.
My favorite restaurant. Broccoli and steamed chicken my favorite dish.
Big clean food is good but needs the wow factor
Sweet boneless spare ribs and the chicken amazing was amazing
The few vegan offerings tasted good but this restaurant mistakenly grouped into vegetarian/vegan cafe :-( Menu mostly dead animals
Very clean, very nice, food was excellent!
The food is delicious and the service is great.
Lots of rules about "proper dress for the dining room." But was pleasantly surprised really good food.
My favorite Chinese food place in the area. Cloth table cloths, free tea, excellent food.
Tangerine beef was really good. Waiter was attentive but not overbearing. Couldn't have ask for a better experience!
This place is a complete and utter sham! The food itself is exceptionally mediocre but because they serve it in an "upscale" atmosphere they think they can commit highway robbery. I placed a pickup order for four appetizers, a bowl of soup and a vegetarian entrée, for my wife and I, which somehow turned out to be $72?! They conveniently don't have prices on their online menu. I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt because I consider good food to be a precious and valuable thing, but I could not have been more disappointed. I can think of a dozen places that serve food twice as good for half as much. I've literally dined at Michelin star restaurants for less! They even have the nerve to put up a sign saying "Proper Attire Required". It would be less dishonest to put that sign next to a pig trough.
I love this place so much. There isn't anything here that they don't do well. I was just here for my birthday, everything was fantastic. Crab rangoon, Peking ravioli, Mongolian beef, lo mein - all of it was great. As it always is. Best Chinese in the area, hands down.
The food was great and service was good during lunchtime. I got my order in a timely manner even though they were a little busy during the lunch rush. The inside is very nice and spacious. I had enough room to park my son's stroller while I ate. It's a little more expense then some of the other places I've visited. I loved their hot and sour soup. My mother-in-law ordered their lobster sauce lunch special and loved it. She said it tastes just like the one she had growing up in NYC. :)
Great food best Chinese food I have ever had. They have daily luncheon menu items which are very good
Food is OK. Twice we have placed a take out order at this location and both times they did not give us all the items ordered. But, they did charge us for all the items. They do not accommodate dietary restrictions either.
Very nice environment , good food and prices.
Excellent food and drink!
Have been going here for 20 years. Never disappointed. If you like duck please give it a try.
Amazing food, prepared and served elegantly, in a quiet, comfortable space. The service is excellent. Every time I go there, it's something special, and I feel renewed somehow.
The food was great and the place was beautiful.
Food choices are pretty standard American Chinese food, but it's a classy venue, above average food quality, and consistent. Definitely not cheap. Lunch prices are better.
Awful. I ordered takeout. Two entrees and fried rice. The prices are high, but I have eaten here before and was not surprised. The food was not eatable. It is now in the compost bucket. The chicken was dry and had no sauce. The shrimp in both dishes were old and had a bad taste and smell. Awful
I love this place, I always go to this place on my birthday it is so special to me, ambience is so good Staff a very professional, they customize the food how u want. I definitely recommend this place for family and friends.
Food is always good and the service is excellent. The prices for dinner are really high though. Make sure you go for the lunch specials.
It’s hands down a very formal setting but the customer service and general waiters are a little on the off side tho I understand it takes time to compose a check it should not take 15+ minutes to do so.
Great ambiance, service and good food for a very affordable price.
Great place to have dinner! The Lilac Duck is just perfect! Delicious Meal!
Truely authentic Chinese cuisine. Great service.
Two out of three dishes were great. Beef with asparagus in garlic sauce: Tender beef slices with a pleasantly spicy brown sauce. The asparagus was an inch thick but cooked perfectly; tender yet not overcooked. Tangerine chicken: 2 inch fritter-like balls containing small pieces of chicken in batter, fried perfectly with a mildly spicy, sticky tangerine sauce. Always yummy. Szechuan dumplings in spicy sesame peanut butter sauce: Horrible! The mystery meat in the dumplings was a hard nodule and the sauce was a crime. It wasn't a Satay. It tasted like the cook scooped a big spoon of peanut butter on to the dumplings. It was an overpowering, clumpy thick, one note sauce that ruined the already not so good dumplings.
