We made a reservation for a much-anticipated dinner out. We were not disappointed because it was a fantastic night! Our server, Beth, made sure that our evening was perfect. She was very gracious and catered to everything we asked for. The chef that night, Jasmine, did a fantastic job! We ordered the Thai green curry with salmon. It was so delicious. We were delighted by the local art scattered throughout the restaurant as well. Dessert was to die for. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we found ourselves not looking forward to leaving. We will definitely be going back

Having eaten at dozens of locally sourced restaurants throughout NH and VT... hands down the Saalt pub is the best ! Steve makes great drinks , the food is always tasty and the help super accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend - especially if you’re unfamiliar with the area and undecided about where to eat !

Great Food - Better atmosphere. We ate downstairs at Salts...great unique food and even better atmosphere and service. Felt like a "regular" before we left. Our waitress/bartender was so friendly and fun and we chatted with the owner/chef when she came downtairs after closing upstairs. Hard to believe you can find a funky, fun, tasty and comfortable spot in the middle of nowhere. Wish it were in my hometown. We will have to go back in the Spring/Summer.

Terrific local spot to get a delicious meal. The weather was nice enough for us to sit outside on the shaded patio and enjoy the charm of the area. Tons of veggie options, fresh and delicious. Started off with the eggplant (amazing), got the chard gnocchi and tomato salad. For dessert we got the basil ice cream and some sort of cake (can't remember), it was fantastic. Debated going down the street for a big cone but glad we got dessert here with a pot of chamomile tea and enjoyed. The inside was very charming but we couldn't resist taking advantage of the nice weather, but we will certainly return if we're in the area.

Coming back from Berlin for a softball game. Stopped here liked the look of it. Had an Asian sampler platter really good. Don't expect the average restaurant food here. This place is different and really tasty. Wife and daughter loved their meals as well.

Came in based on a recommendation from The Inn at Thorn Hill and loved it! There was about a half hour wait on a Thursday night when we arrived, but we were promptly greeted and offered a drink from the bar. Once seated, the waitress was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. We ordered two appetizers and two entrees and loved everything! Only minor complaint was that at the end of the meal the waitress told us the credit card machine could not read our AMEX gift card (which should work exactly like any other credit card). Not sure if they don't take AMEX at all or what the reason was for that, but overall it was a 5 Star experience!

3/5 unfortunately the server didn’t give us an honest wait time our server said 25 minutes but we waited a little over an hour. I wish they gave us an honest wait time, and we didn’t leave because we were so tired from hiking mount Washington. For the food it would be 5/5 and the flavours were out of this world! Over all service was 4/5 our servers were really nice and sweet.

If you are looking for an amazing food experience this is the place too go. The decor is fun and creative. The dishes are truly farm to table with a dash of flavors. The drinks are made well and offer a great beer selection. You may have to wait but it is so worth it. Desserts are the perfect ending to a great meal. So,take your time and enjoy a night out ..you will thank me.

wow!!! What an amazing dining experience in a one of a kind restaurant ! From the time you enter, you are welcomed with an awesome friendly smiley staff. We were taken to a lovely waiting room where we enjoyed some European appetizer which you could tell were homemade ! The diner was just fantastic, some great flavors and delicious produce in a lovely decorated room. It really makes you enjoy every second of this wonderful dining experience ! We have been on the road for 8 days throughout the Northeast and this is by far the most exquisite restaurant we have been to. Great job to the chef and all the lovely staff !!!! By far this was the best meal of our trip, and I admit we are definitely foodies. We are looking forward to our next trip so we can come back here. We went to Saalt at the end of a long travel and kid-fun filled day, with a tired and hungry 3 year old. Despite that, we had an exceptional meal, and they catered to our little guy. I'm getting hungry now just writing this review thinking about our meal. Truly amazing!

What a huge surprise. The freshness of the food was outstanding. The service was great Very friendly and chatty. Driving through gorham we didn't think there was going to be any place worthwhile. What a huge surprise The prices were reasonable. My only problem is we didn't have room to try the decedent deserts on the menu. They looked phenomenal. .

I wish I could rate this restaurant 10/5. Everything tasted phenomenal from the spreads, appetizers and main entree. Plus all the food is served on homemade pottery. Owners are extremely nice and personable. Additionally the restaurant had a great atmosphere. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a high end meal in the white mountains.

Saalt Pub is the only place to go for the best food at an incredibly fair price in an atmosphere that is so cozy, inviting and artistic. They’re one of the reasons that we moved up here! Best food I've found north of the White Mountains. This is a great place to take your sweetheart for an cozy intimate dinner, especially if you want to take your time and order a cocktail and some desert as well. Pretty much everything I have tried here has been delicious. My only critique is that sometimes they live up to their name and go a little heavy handed with the salt but that hasn't stopped me from coming back.

This place holds up against the best- coast to coast. My husband and i haven’t finished dessert yet but we both agreed we shouldn’t wait to write this review; the experience is still in the front of our minds and why not ensure accuracy? A mix between classic and creative global dishes: the thoughtful menu is both surprising and reliable each visit. Everything is fresh and homey. The decor manages to be eclectic but not kitchy- so warm and tasteful. Kinda makes a lady want to move to rural New Hampshire. Get the carrot cake.
