Great food! Seemed to be a little understaffed for the evening. Service was a bit slow, but the food more than made up for it. Excellent lasagna, and the salad bar was outstanding!

My husband and I stopped here for our date night dinner. A wonderfully warm and cozy atmosphere, it was a little noisy, but in a good way. Everyone was chatting and laughing and enjoying their meals. We felt very comfortable being able to hold a conversation without worrying that we would disturb anyone. The staff is amazing!!!! They were all sooooo friendly, checking to see that we were happy several times. They made me a tasty chocolate martini. It was also nice to see the owners walking around the dining area and talking to guests. Oh and they have a really cool out door grill that they used to cook our food to perfection. They offer a verity of reasonably priced home style meals both traditional and more fancy (my husband ordered the duck) Overall a wonderful experience, we will be going back!!

First visit to Jim Eddies and I loved It! Service was great, staff so helpful and friendly. Food was great. I loved their Shrimp Cocktail. For my main course I had a beautiful side salad from their salad bar, everything was so fresh. I also had their Shepherds Pie, which was awesome. Restaurant was nice and warm as there was a lot of snow outside. I loved walking into the restaurant as they have the BBQ outside, and the smell really makes me ready for a nice plate of food.

I have to detract a star because there were so many flies in the restaurant it distracted from the meal and made it hard to enjoy. The food, service, and bathroom were all perfect. But i am going to remember the flies, tbh. Sadly. I liked every other aspect here. Just please do something about the flies.

Actually, ten stars !!!! I eat here regularly, and this is homemade food, run by an amazing family that has their lines, atmosphere, and meal coordination down to a science. I sat once from a viewpoint to see the entire Saturday night crowd & every employee hustle around, accommodating adults, children, food and drinks in a totally full waiting line out the door scenario, staff was friendly, fun, calm, and enjoying it, while bringing out all of this amazing food. Specials are original and outstanding, it's just so wonderful to even find a restaurant like this where they love what they do, and it shows all of the time.

I had the roast pork. It was served with a very spicy beef broth gravy and the gravy was much too strong for the delicate white meat pork loin. The gravy for pork should be less spicy and with a cream base - not a broth base. The beets served with it were supposed to be boiled and buttered and served warm (according to the waitress). The beets that were served were the same ones that were on the salad bar - pickled and served cold. The "mile high" lasgna was two very small squares with some red sauce - no grated parmesan in sight. The only thing that was "mile high" was the price! $17 for one serving!!! I was disappointed overall.

Great pulled pork sandwich, ask for dill pickles and they happily obliged. Fries cooked perfectly, served hot! Stuffed haddock enjoyed by 3 companions along with clam strips and sweet potato fries. Wonderful homemade rolls. Great home cooked meals! Never disappointing.

Great service, great food!! We’ve been waiting a long time to go here because it seems they are ALWAYS packed. It was worth the wait, very flavorful, delicious food. The menu has so much to choose from including seafood. The only reason I am giving 4 out of 5 stars is because the brisket meat was super fatty but I suppose they cook it that way to give more flavor. We’ll be back again that’s for sure!

I had the New Hampshire lobster roll which is served on a toasted brioche roll. It was piled high with lobster salad and served with coleslaw and fries. My husband ordered the pork chops with sweet potato fries. He was unable to finish the two large chops, took them home for lunch the following day. Both of us were very happy with our lunches.

My husband just came home with a tablespoon of pulled pork in one container. A pint of slaw from a bag and a pint of smiley potato salad. Are you kidding me? You would have placed that before me and charged 15 dollars. No corn bread? I would have sent it back. My husband will add to his pitiful plate to make one dinner. This is why we don't eat here. We forgot! We won't forget again. Food Trucks to the rescue. Time to go back out and find a decent meal. Unbelievable!

Terrible. Ribs were fatty as well as pulled pork. The beef brisket was buried under everything. Dont waste time or money on BBQ. McDonald's McRib is better. Seafood was also as well. Steak tips were raw. Waitress never asked how we were doing. French fries were good

Omg it was so dang good. Absolute delicious, hot, and tender. Corn fritters, onion rings, steak, Cole slaw, whole fried Clams, au gratin potatoes, chicken fried steak then brought home a BBQ sample meal. My husband and I had to try every off each other's plate.

Definitely came during a busy rush, waited about 20 minutes but it was most definitely worth the wait. I had the barbeque chicken and my partner had the pulled pork platter. Prices were better than fair, portions were amazing. We didn't have room for dessert but every dessert we saw looked delicious. I'd recommend to anyone looking for amazing home cooked meals and generous portions. Hometown feel in the dining area and with staff. We'll definitely be back!

Service was good, Food was good, but I have no idea how there was an extra $7.50 on my bill from what I totaled up on the website. I can only guess one of three things, possibly all; Charging full price for soda refills, Charging a ridiculous amount for a couple crackers they give you (assuming they are free since no word of caution), or they added the gratuity automatically, even though we dropped 10$ on the table.

Nothing fancy about this little family place, but the food and service is great. No bar, but they have a nice selection of bottled beers. Place was packed when I visited. Had the 1/2 Rack of St. Louis Ribs which came with Potato salad and Cole Slaw. Meat was fall off the bone tender. BBQ sauce had great flavor. Highly recommend this place.

While overall this was a nice experience, I can't say that I wasn't a little disappointed. Now, disclaimer: I ordered to go rather than eating in. My experience may have been totally different had I eaten there. That being said here are the pros and cons of my experience. Cons: Price - The majority of meals there ran from $10-$30. Portions - Unfortunately, the portion sizes did not match the prices. For $27 I received a small cup of dry Cole slaw, a cup of rice pilaf, and 7 small scallops. Ease of Ordering - Even more disappointing was that I had no heads up of the aforementioned problems before arriving. Jim Eddie's does not have a restaurant and the menu in house, has little description for their meals. Portions averages, descriptions of meal - and for those of us trying not to kill a diet - calories per meal would all be welcomed additions. Wait time - My final problem was the sheer length of time for our food to be prepared. I understand busy nights are stressful. The dining room was full and there were at least half a dozen to go orders. However, I waited 30 minutes for my meal after waiting 15 minutes to order. I had the time to wait, but not everyone might be so lucky. Pros: Service - Now, please don't think that there weren't any good parts of my experience, because there certainly were! First off, the whole staff was absolutely the friendliest bunch of people I had ever seen. They were attentive when they were free and they worked very well under the pressure of a busy night. Atmosphere - The energy of the wait staff mixed with the excitement of the patrons made for a truly unique experience. I may have waited for some time, but the time flew by! Quality - And last but certainly not least, the food was good. As I said before, the coleslaw was a bit too dry for me, but the pilaf was well cooked and the scallops were plenty juicy! I would definitely try this restaurant again, but definitely by going in rather than eating to go!

Food is amazing they smoke meat all day giving the neighborhood a wonderful ambiance. Pull into the lot and your already hungry! service is super fast and friendly it's like having dinner at your grandma's house with all your cousins! Our server Jenn was a pro at handling the fast pace and spread our tables on a busy Saturday night. She had great recommendations from the menu and conveyed the attitude thAt she couldn't wait to see us come back! And excellent night out
