Food has 4 stars..eggs were perfect, toast was fresh, coffee hot and fresh. kielbasa and home fries cooked and seasoned well; onions were paid for however they did not make it into my home fries. Pancakes were Good but not from scratch; rubbery after sitting few minutes. Service gets 2 stars. Waitress could take an order--When I stated shortly after sitting I already knew what I would like to eat and if I could place my order, the waitress told me wait a minute(actually 10 minutes) and took only my order for coffee. The creamer provided came from another table not chilled and the creamer ( from table recently vacated and uncleared) was not washed and I was therefore using bad temp zone, germ zone item someone else had used before me. The waitstaff had assisted in filling 5 tables of beverages( some with refills) before I was almost done eating. When I was finally asked how food actually was. At which point I had to request more coffee even with my having placed empty mug on edge of table as a hint.
I explained when sitting I would be placing an order to go sometime before my meal was over and it wasn't until my check came that the waitress asked about togo order and in lieu of poor service received I declined to do so at that time. I have over 10 years of customer service which is why my critique is so heavy. I have a well rounded understanding of customer service expectations and details are always key. My total bill was 14.15 I tipped 3.85- not because it was earned, but a tip is expected in this type of establishment and you should do so when dining out. So overall 3 stars with combined efforts.
