Husband and I shared a house salad that was delicious and certainly large enough for the two of us. Very nice bread station with assorted oils for dipping. Veal parm I had was a little chewy but flavorful. Husband had veal marsala which was very good. Excellent wait person. Could do without chocolate covered coffee beans.

Very good Italian food. We split a pizza as an appetizer which was fantastic, and we each had different chicken and pasta dishes for our entrees. There was unlimited fresh bread. The whole restaurant had a nice, homey feel.

My favorite Italian Restaurant outside of the North End. Sangiovese wine. I had the Italian Haddock. He had the steak tips. Next trip I had the proscutio wrapped veal cutlet he enjoyed the lobster of the day. Quaint atmosphere. Free bread station (save room). We even ate dessert--raspberry cheesecake.

My family and I come here every year while on vacation. Service is excellent. Food is always perfect. They always accommodate our large parties of 10 or more. Bread and olive oil station is yummy. We always buy some chocolate covered coffee beans before we leave so we have our years supply of them ! Love this place!!!!

This is my favorite restaurant. So we were disappointed with our special, shrimp pesto Alfredo. It was just ok, almost got three stars. Going to have to stay with the seafood putanesca. Still missing the veggie lasagna too, sorry it's off the menu.

A Common Man off shoot. Food is decent (lots of butter, cheese, and Alfredo in most dishes - but you can request less or to change an ingredient). Fresh pasta runs out quickly. Homey ambiance. Nice service, was busy when we were there so a little wait for apps to come out. Chocolate mousse for dessert looked so good I almost ordered it. Busy on the weekend. Nice new facility for events in the back.

It took forever to get a drink and when it did arrive the manager, Heidi, threw it on the table at room temperature and offered to bring us ice cubes for a 50.00 bottle of wine. The food was good but took an hour to get us the food and by that time we were miserable.

This is our annual pilgrimage to the Italian Farmhouse. The food is always amazing although sometimes the service is slow. I had the Mediterranean haddock with linguine and my husband had the shrimp scampi. We like dining in the Common Man restaurant family even if the owners can be a little terse and offensive to their waitstaff. A family member used to work at the Town Docks in Meredith, NH and the owner stopped by and made the waitstaff pick up cigarette butts out of the sand on their hands and knees. Outrageous!!!! So he may be an humanitarian to charity, but his charity does not start at home in his restaurants.

Excellent place! Came to NH for the weekend full of hiking, biking, boating, etc. Also was my wife's bday. Wanted to take the group to a good Italian restaurant and our local hotel staff recommended this place. I'm so glad we listened. Great atmosphere, very friendly staff, excellent food (even willing to change up the dishes). It's a gem, and we plan on going when ever we are in the area.

Very nice decor and service. I had lasagna...no so good. Sauce and meat was bland and tasted pre-made then frozen. Salad was the star. Home made italian dressing was a hit. Biscuits were delish but the breadsticks were just like fazolies or OG. Limited menu and kinda pricy for tbe quality. They charge for credit cards also which pisses people off so bring cash.

Beautiful venue for the wedding I attended there! Great sightlines overlooking a very picturesque scenery (esp. with some of the fall colors changing). The clear glass atrium/greenhouse contributed to the quaint, rustic feel of the place, and I loved it.

The food was pretty good, I got the Farmhouse Alfredo. It was a little more runny than I like but the flavor was all there. The atmosphere was beautiful, the service was great too! Although I did not pay this time, I know the cost and I'd say it was priced higher than it was worth in taste and quantity but all around a good spot to try. I would not suggest eating there again but if someone wanted to go I would not be upset

Visited for a birthday celebration and had incredible service and outstanding food. Shrimp scampi is notable with fresh angel hair. Veal parmesan was very well prepared. Desserts were memorable. Waiting area has several comfy chairs and games to play while you wait. Feels like you're at an old Italian farmhouse with class. :)

We came to this restaurant earlier in the year and had an amazing dinner. Regrettably this time was horrible. The wait was to be expected for a Saturday night - about 45 minutes. Once we were seated it took over an hour to get our order. The waitress did let us know that there was a delay. Since we had been here before we were Ok with it because the food would be amazing. Not so- after over an hour wait the pasta was over cooked and the dishes had no flavor. The sauces were runny and didn’t stick to the pasta. Again the waitress noticed that we were not enjoying our meal and asked us if we wanted boxes. We said yes. She asked us if we wanted coffee or tea and tried to joke that it would be ready right away. We declined. On the way out she offered us two desserts to go. Too bad, it was so good our first visit.

We love coming here , the service and bread bar are amazing. The atmosphere is second to none.... But the food !!!! The food was very salty . 3 different dishes and all of them you could taste / feel the sodium oozing into your blood stream . Not so great dishes unfortunately

we had a delightful dinner at the Italian farmhouse. The food was terrific the service was terrific and the company was terrific. My only complaint is that we were seated next to a big barn door which was not properly insulated and unfortunately we felt the draft a little more than we would wish for a mid-april evening. it is much better than some of the other restaurant experiences that I've had in the same restaurant family, which I have detailed in prior reviews. I highly recommend this facility for a nice, medium priced night out
