I went the first time a few days ago. I had heard this was a good place for chicken and being from the South, I had to give it a try. I can honestly say it was outstanding. Some of the best fried chicken I have ever had even though it is not fried. Really crisp on the outside but very juicy on the inside. The service was very good and friendly. It is really worth going if you have never been. If you have been, I am not telling you anything new.

Ok...this is a mixed review. The food was good. It is an older place, which speaks to the quality. After eating at different places, I can say that this place is pricey . Now, the issue I have, is none food related. We parked on the side street, next to their outside seating area. The waiters saw us park there, and did not say anything. There was no sign ANYWHERE saying NO PARKING. However, when we came back from our walk,after we ate, we had a parking ticket. I was confused and asked the PD, they told me the restaurant had called the PD, and it also stated on the ticket itself. All they had to do was to ask us park somewhere else, instead they let us walk away and call the police afterwards. I guess we were blocking an area which made it easier for them to load/unload goods for the restaurant...o well...

My grandmothers nursing home serves food later than this place. What kind of restaurant is open for 8 hours. I ordered the Mac and cheese no flavor tasted like noodles with butter. The chicken was soggy underneath and way to salty. I’d rather get food poisoning at KFC then to eat here again!!! Good day.

Ordered the 3 tender meal, was given a 3 piece bone-in meal (breast, thigh, drum) which admittedly looked delicious. Told them the mixup and they said I could keep that in addition to meal I ordered. One minute later another employee comes over and takes it from my table. Then 10 minutes later I'm brought a plate of tenders with quality equivalent to that of hockey rink food.

This little restaurant in Hampton Beach is a gem! The chicken is so delicious. And it's not heavy even though it's fried to perfection. And the cornbread was not crumbly or dry. And the corn was full size. Everything was just perfect and we sat outside and enjoyed the weather well as food was cooked and brought out to us. Could not ask for better.

Good food and sangria. At a good price. Many chicken options. I had a chicken wrap and loved it. My daughter got the kids chicken legs plate and corn-on-the-cob and she devoured it. My son got the the mac'n'chz, I thought it was really good because it was a nice thick home style. But he didn't like it because he is more of a blue box boy.

It took a long time to get served and then the wedges and fries both had mo seasoning,they did have kids meals( including soda) but no combo for grown folk..reccomend the steak bomb but NOT chicken parmesan.

We had visited this famous chicken spot well vacationing in Hampton there was miscommunication as what was asked was for boneless chicken apparently the older lady on duty didn't understand the word boneless and made all bone wings which I do not eat I let her know when the order came out that there were bones in the wings and that I had ordered boneless I was very nice with absolutely no attitude as we were having a great night the lady freaked out saying that I told her bone wings which is impossible because I have not eaten bone Wings my entire life. I just don't like eating anything off of a bone it weirds me out. I then kept my cool and proceeded to ask them to remake my order or give me a refund if it would be an issue and we would go somewhere else as I didn't want a problem and we are having a good day she walked away and wouldn't help or discuss the situation the owner came out and started giving me a problem saying I was wrong and I must have said bones I explained that I never eat anything off the bone.... they made a big issue of this because they had to throw away an order of Bones... by the end of it we waited over an hour for the order we're treated very poorly and argued with to the point the lady and owner were both yelling all we wanted was our money back and they refused. Out of principle I stood my ground and watched the food be made then left. We were hoping after all that the food would be decent but it was not it was your basic run-of-the-mill Fried Chicken with not much flavor to it at all. The whole experience was terrible as I believe this establishment needs a reality check on how customer service works. Thank you

Let's be honest. This is the best fried chicken place on Hampton Beach, in part because they are the only one of it's kind on the beach. The setup.is convenient and "beachy". That is to say, one can sit at a table inside or out and sip an adult beverage as the wait for their orders to be put together. There is a respectable feel of pride in the food preperation. Being able to see your food being prepared to order, is always been a catch for me. There are house sangrias, ready to pour at a very reasonable price. Do not be fooled by the "chicken" title. There are steak bombs here that are on par with the best of them. Breakfast outside on a warm summer morning is a hit as well. I see the patio brimming with customers when I pass by, iften. The only downside: no gravy. Big jo-jos with no side of gravy to me...is a big no-no. Overall, Farr's deserves it's place in reccomended eating establishments on Hampton Beach.

If i could give this resturant 0 stars I would. I never write reviews and rarely complain about a resturant because i know how things can get overwhelming at times. However after what i delt with tonight I will not be back. I waited over an hour for my families dinner watching people come and go eatting their food while i still wait for ours each time the girl comes out and calls a name i make eye contact with her to see if its my name but not once did i hear her say it. Finally i go to see whats going on and a man comes over and yells my name and says oh she yelled your name awhile ago and you didnt come get it. I said i was standing right here the whole time. There is absolutly NO way i missed my name being called. Instead of apologizing he just continues to place the blame on me. This was your mistake and you should have at least apologized. Like i said i get that its busy and you have alot going on but instead of blaming your customer maybe you should realize you messed up!! Worse service on the beach!

Stay far far away!!!! We came here to eat breakfast a few weeks ago and it was very good. We then went again with our whole family (11 People). The place was empty we sat at 3 different tables and told the waitress that if the food didn't come out all at once it was fine. Well let me say it went extremely downhill from there. I was given a foam cup and told to get my own soda. 90% of our food came out cold, coffee was cold, and oalmeal would have stuck to the wall. We asked for warm food it never came. An hour and a half later our toast was jusr comibf out and cold food still hadn't been replaced. We finally asked for our bill and that's when the owner started raising her voice saying we were yelling at her. We were also told to take our NY attitudes and go back to NY. Our kids were mortified this all happened. After not eating 80% of our food she took 30 dollars off of our 120 dollar bill and we left.

Get the Buffalo wings! Tender fall off the bone jumbo wing! Sauce is remarkable too! Tangy with just the right amount of heat! They serve beer and wine too! Great place to sit, grab some food and drink before a show at the ballroom. Boo yeah!

Great fried chicken and sides. The place reminds me of the carryout/malt shops of yesteryear. We're not from the area so when looking for places to eat, we looked for local places we couldn't find at home. I prefer to give the small business owner my business rather than the national cookie cutter chains. Huge menu with lots of other fried options. Good looking desserts however we were full so we didn't try any and can't speak to how good they are. Easy walk from the action on the main strip. I suggest walking there since finding parking on the street nearby is going to be a challenge get during the summer season. Order at the counter and wait for your name to be called. Eat inside or outside at the picnic tables. We ate outside right at sunset so the umbrellas didn't help block out the low horizon sun but that's what sunglasses are good for.

Farr's website states the chicken is pressure cooked. I asked 2 people before ordering to make sure it wasn't fried. We have a family member that can't process certain fats such as oil. When we got our families dinner it looked fried. I again asked and told it was pressure cooked with oil. Which after looking up the cooking details they gave me my husband found it is pressure fried. We spent over $40 on dinner and had a family member who couldn't eat it. Our family was extremely disappointed. I would recommend not eating there if you health conditions or food allergies.

Me my mom and dad walked in . The people welcomed us they were very friendly. We were here to get me food . My parents just had subs minutes earlier . I ordered my chicken tenders and fees the chicken has a nice flavor to it and fries not to unhealthy. She knew us from her husband she offered us a to try a leg and breastfeeding for free so we said yes and when it got to the table we tryed it . It is super moist there was no dried spots best chicken I have ever had . I highly recommend coming here
