REVIEWS OF Cresh's Italian Country Kitchen IN New Hampshire

Donna Lorraine

This place is simple and humble. No table clothes, just a paper napkins and a paper mat. So don’t expect a fancy restaurant. But if you wanna eat something special, this is the right spot. Everything is authentic and genuine. Give them a try and you will never leave ‘em

Great authentic Italian food. Small and intimate setting.

Venice in North Conway?!?! This Italian restaurant is the absolute BEST of the BEST! Never have we had the best service from entering the facility through dinner and dessert! The food was phenomenal and outstanding! For those of you wanting to spend a quiet dinner with someone special, this is the place to go! I will guarantee another visit but with many family and friends!

I don't know why there are all these good reviews. I don't think I've ever written a review before but I felt the need because of how much I utterly loathe this place. Having grown up in an Italian family, I don't know if my expectations were too high but I could make better than this when I was a kid. I went with someone else and we both got an order of pasta. The to-go trays were small (think small plastic containers of chinese food-sized). First: The Ragout - the sauce tasted like generic garbage version of ragu/prego that was thinned out with water Heck, those sauces have more substance than this. The 'chunks of meat' was a few spoonfuls of flavorless ground beef. Second: The 'fettuccine' and I use the term lightly; was a little bit of watery white cheddar. Opening the container smelled like bargain-bin cheese powder. Now, I'm no stranger to getting that sort of food and sometimes I eat that, but each pasta dish was TWENTY DOLLARS. The pasta with meat sauce and the 'fettuccine' combined was a $40 dollar order. If I wanted to eat kraft mac&cheese, I'd buy a damn box for $2.99 and save the other $37 dollars and buy something that didn't suck beyond belief. It's no wonder the place was dead when I went by on a Sunday evening. I've never felt more ripped off in my life. Looking at these other reviews....where on Earth were you eating? Because it sure doesn't seem like the same place at all. Also the front counter guy was rude.

Elegant, petite type of place. I've always drove by this place and was curious so decided to try it out. Great atmosphere, very clean and nicely put together. Food was really good. Menu is pricey and is really all pasta or potato options. Was hoping more food options were available, such as gluten free or lots of veggies (besides a salad).

This is our favorite restaurant in N. Conway, maybe our favorite Italian in New England (excluding Boston's North End). Great little place for an Italian dinner. My wife and I enjoy dinner at the bar, we also come with friends and get a big table. Either way, we love it here. The portion sizes are perfect. And we always take half of our meals home! Espresso, Cappuccino, Limoncello, they really do have it all here....

Authentic, clean, great service, cozy! What else?

Ron McCain

The best Italian restaurant in North Conway and the Whole Mount Washington area. They make their own pasta and bread. The food is fantastic. Excellent espressos!

so nice inside quiet...very romantic beautiful ambience. loved the stone tile wall! service was great , very knowledgeable of the menu extremely on top of everything. I had the homemade gnocchi on a cream sauce (fontini). Oh also very clean inside. owner should be proud .. a hidden gem. lovely evening. Not your run of the mill Italian restaurant♥️

Alex Lancey

Service is great, nice wine and beer list, but the food was pretty bland. Bread is dense and flavorless. The spaghetti alla vongole was basically inedible. We had an artichoke and fontina appetizer that was decent.

Ricky Holland

We wanted to eat real and authentic Italian food, so we chose Cresh’s. Trust me everything is so good and authentic that I am wondering, where can you find another restaurant like this? Probably never!

Laurie Campbell

We had a awesome dinner tonight here . Well worth the trip wherever your coming from.

The inn keeper at the 1785 Inn recommended Cresh for our anniversary dinner. It was phenomenal. Fresh ingredients and taste galore, this was one of the best Italian restaurants we have dined at in quite some time. The Eggplant dish was bursting with flavor. The seafood and pasta dish my wife had kept her saying "this is so good". Service was attentive and pleasant. The ambiance was nice and the restaurant wasn't too loud, it definitely had an intimate feel as it only had about ten tables. A hidden gem ok in North Conway!

Everything about Cresh's was wonderful Great place to get authentic Italian food.

Natalie M

Authentic Italian food. The owner's parents came from Italy.

Conor Quilty

Service was good, food was not. We tried it based off it’s high rating but total disappointment. Aside from all the people who only reviewed this restaurant... I guess others just don’t know great food.

Don’t miss it! Worth every penny!

Joey Groch

Absolutely amazing . Food is out of this world . We had Cori as our waitress and she was amazing also .

Sophie Russell

This place rocks! Food is amazing, so fresh, so tasty. Go for it!

Christina Gist

Rude, rude person. When stated we had 5 people, she asked "did you call? I told you we didn't have space " . I told her we hadn't called, she said let me see. After 10 minutes, we just left and took our business and money elsewhere. You don't treat people that way especially when you are running a business.

Roger G

The best food in town! Don’t miss it

Oh my Gosh!!!! This was the most amazing dinner I have had in a long time. We sat at the bar and the owner, Marco took good care of us. He gave us a true Italian experience. Started with a glass of Prosecco and a Capresse salad with fresh mozzarella like nothing I have ever had before. Everything after that was as delightful. We ended with their famous Tarimasu which was an experience within itself. I can’t wait to go back. I felt like I was eating in Italy

This place is awesome. I own the Inn next door and was excited to try Cresh's and I was not disappointed. This is VERY AUTHENTIC ITALIAN FOOD. I grew up in an Italian neighborhood outside Providence and I am very familiar with good …

You won’t be laughing when someone drives off that insane ledge. This owner is very immature and can’t take criticism. Won’t be going back.

Dan Lacroix

Was here a while ago and had an amazing rabbit dish. Heading back up in a few months and can't wait to go back

Cresh's delighted and surprised me. The atmosphere was beautiful and the wine was good but what stood out was the deeply authentic and delicious Italian food. As an American who's never been to Italy, I am accustomed to standard Americanized Italian fare, which is amazing -- but worlds apart from what I ate at Cresh's. The chef displayed beautiful attention to detail and to letting ingredients' natural flavors shine. I'll definitely be back!

Sonya Guertin

The authentic lasagna is delicious!

Emily MacPhail

Everything is homemade and out of this world. A hidden gem, don't let its size fool you! Intimate and relaxed environment, very nice staff. We will be going back during our next trip!

Gerald Warren

The food was unbelievable Homemade pumpkin soup was delicious and the steak was seasoned perfectly. He staff is extremely helpful. You will pay more for your meal compared to other local restaurant, but it is worth it.

Kim Callen

Wow! As locals, we have tried many places. Lots have the same old fare. When I go out, I want that Wow factor. Chresh's did not disappoint! Fresh, authentic, and delicious! We will be back! And, No Chicken Parm, as it should be! Thanks Marco and staff for a wonderful date night!

Judd Smith

No chicken dishes which is a huge disappointment. The menu has stayed pretty much the exact same since it has opened.

Island general

If you want true authentic Italian. This is the spot. No chicken Parm or Veal Parm. The real deal.

Service was very good. Food was exceptional, definitely not all it was made out to be. One reason I gave It a few stars down is because of the horrendous parking situation when we pulled into a parking spot it looked as if we were about to drive off the edge, I wish they had some type of fence or at least white poles sticking out of the ground, mind you we drove in before sunset it must be worse at night.

Joe XCXC

great food !! The chef went out of his way to prepare a special that was not on the menu dish do to my food allergy...... great food

איה לוי

The food is real Italian and very good. The staff is super nice. Recommended!

Chris Borgain

We’ll be back! So delicious!

Jessica Krikorian

Amazing authentic italian food. We drove by and happened to stop and man was I glad that we did! It was the most delicious dinner I have had in a VERY long time. Upon meeting the owner it was apparent he takes pride in his food which unfortunately can be hard to come by these days. Staff was friendly and everything came out in a timely manner. Highly recommend.

Rice balls stuffed with cheese was still cold on the inside... Shredded cheese still felt frozen. They cooked a new pair, but that should be a simple timing item. Lasagna in a french onion soup croque was great.
