The food is excellent. My guest and I loved everything we had. The ambience was very pleasant. I really like that it is quiet enough to hear each other talk. After leaving my guest said she could hardly wait to get hungry again so that she could eat her leftovers. I love the place.

We had a server named Josh. He was so funny and was on point with service. Anytime we might have needed something he was there. There was a blonde lady at the bar that was rude but when I gave it back to her her attitude changed. The last making drinks was amazing. Over all the night was great.

Another one so easy to forget it's there.(Well, I won't forget again.) I got the Retro Meatloaf, with broccolini and mashed potatoes. My daughter got the fried chicken . We also shared a salad called the Wedge. I have to say, this was one of the finest meals I have had. Obviously the chef has found the best ingredients and combinations to make these palette pleasing dishes, but in spite of that both of us were equally pleased with the delectable taste of the few fries we pilferedfrom my grandson's plate. Ou waitress, (Scooter D?), was the best.

Dinner last night was amazing. The wait staff was very accommodating, attentive, and good humored. The drink menu is very fun, with lots of interesting taste combinations, as well as classic cocktails. I had the Bumbu, and it was very, very good (somewhat sweet, somewhat spicy, makes me think of spiced cookies and iced chai). Dad got a Long Island iced tea, and I had a taste. It was by far the best Long Island Iced Tea I've had in years. The appetizers were also delicious. I especially I liked the creamy herb dip that came with perfectly cooked calamari. My lamb steak was also perfectly cooked, and the sides were delicious. If you like raspberries, the creme brulee is a perfect closer.

The Cotton is by far my favorite restaurant in the southern NH area. Amazing food every time and even better service from their considerate and fast paced staff. The bartenders have a wealth of knowledge and are able to make a large variety of cocktails. Warm and comfortable environment, very welcoming with very pretty dim mood lighting. I typically opt for the steak dinner which is the best I've had since being in the area. I've never had a bad experience here and make it a point to go at least once a month. I highly recommend you give it a try as you wont be disappointed!

Been here off and on for years, and honestly I’m always impressed. Personal fave is the scallops, and the atmosphere is just DRIPPING with personality. It’s truly one of my favorite places to just be surrounded by. Only reason it’s not a solid 5/5 is because the bar seems to run hot and cold, because I’ve gotten awesome drinks, and extremely unbalanced ones.

We recently connected with a sibling that I’d never met only to find that his son, my nephew was traveling for business and his last night in the area. We looked up TA and Cotton came highly recommended. We got a table right away, and enjoyed conversation for some time before ordering. Appetizers were pot stickers and crab cakes. Delicious! After some time we ordered our dinners, the Scallops dish and a couple of beef dishes. They were all very good. Time passed quickly and we ended up closing the place down as we lost track of time. Great little restaurant tucked away in Manchester. This was our second visit and well worth the drive. Great drinks, food, service and atmosphere. I like low key and good for my birthday dinner with friends. Our server was attentive and gave perfect service, not on top of us but didn't forget us either. Drinks came in a decent amount of time and the recommendations where helpful too. Food came out in good time, as ordered and at the right temperature. Everyone really enjoyed every aspect of the experience from start to finish. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

This is a fantastic restaurant in the Millyard. Best fries! Try the cucumber mint lemonade. I've tried a lot of items on the menu. Have not had a dish I didn't like. Busy at lunch. Best to make a reservation for dinner. Love their martinis!

Second time I've been there for lunch. Nice place with an upscale atmosphere without being stuffy. Quick friendly service, good food. Not too pricey. The steamed broccoli is a tasty and healthy replacement for the kettle chips or fries.

Would be 5 stars but last night's (Saturday) hostess was less than accommodating. We had made reservations for 5:45 for a table. We always request a table (for 4) so we sit very close as my voice doesn't carry. There were two available yet denied one of them till stated we'd leave and not return. We frequent at least 4 times per month. No issues on other evenings, just this particular older hostess who has never been pleasantly accommodating.

Honest review after going to Cotton at least a dozen times. Their food is 5 stars amazing. Up with the top restaurants in the area. The service however is 1 star if you're lucky. It does not matter if you are very polite, say thank you, tip well, etc., expect to be very uncomfortable and treated like you are a bother. Most recently Corissa with the bad service and leaving us feeling totally uncomfortable but it happens any time you go regardless of the server. We have never actually had a good experience with a server here. It's too bad we would go more often if they could get the service on track, instead we go to Ignite for our weekly date night (best food+service in Manchester) and save Cotton for when we really really really want the food and can stand the horrible service for a meal.

A great place for lunch and dinner. Lunches tend to be reasonably priced and the atmosphere is slightly more low-key than in the evening. The menu is good across the board and rotates frequently. We love eating on the patio during the summer months, the foliage and pergola create an intimate environment for al fresco dining. Do try the gazpacho, you won't be disappointed!

Such a disappointment. My family ate here for recently and our waitress Corissa was not kind at all, nor was the owner Peaches. A simple request was asked and they refused to accommodate, meanwhile this simple request has been made for years and was always done KINDLY by the rest of her staff (not to mention by all the other restaurants in the area). They definitely do NOT like kids in their restaurant. If you are looking for amazing restaurants in the area with amazing service I would highly recommend The Chop House, Mint, Bedford Village Inn ect.

Cotton is a great addition to the Manchester restaurant scene. It's just enough on the outskirts of inner city Manchester, but don't let that fool you, as this place does get busy! I came on a Friday night where there was quite a wait. Luckily, Cotton takes reservations and my party and I were seated right away as we had made a reservation. Cotton's aesthetic has an easiness to it with an upscale feel, which gives it a cool vibe. There are a variety of tables to sit at in the lower section, with high top seating in the upper section with an expansive bar. Cotton advertises itself as an American restaurant, and it surely is fitting, but their menu presents a variety of flavor combinations ranging from Americanized Asian to Italian options.

Everything we had was fantastic, beginning with the soft sourdough and whipped butter. The portions were generous and the drinks were well made. Our server was prompt, friendly and helpful with recommendations, all without being over bearing. Our table had the baked goat cheese and buffalo chicken appetizers, steak Diane, scallop and jambalaya mains and toffee cheesecake, banana bread pudding and creme brule desserts--all were phenomenal. Oh,and, the espresso martini was dangerously good. If I were local, this would definitely be a place we'd revisit.

I’ve had several meals here! The Food is good for the most part. I think they could change a few things like The hash for the scallops entree is not very good and is just a big filler.. the scallops were cooked to perfection and great.. overall the Prices are very good for entrees. It Doesn’t seem overpriced in my opinion. A very Solid restaurant that I would recommend and have gone back to several times!

The portions are large, but I had the best chicken salad sandwich I ever had and the fries were perfect - I mean perfect. The atmosphere was outstanding. I needed a bit of patience with the staff as they were very busy, but they are very good once they get to you.

Cotton was an awesome anniversary experience for us! I heard about this place last year, but have been crazy busy with work and a new baby boy. My wife and I visited tonight for our anniversary and were very pleased. Our waitress Tori was extremely friendly, prompt and courteous. We had a couple drinks to begin then Vermont creamery baked goat cheese with marinara fresh-baked ciabatta bread. We also tried the Tuna tataki appetizer. Both were excellent!! My wife had the New Hampshire lobster and scallop ravioli. I had the buttermilk herb fried chicken breast. Because of our personal contests and ratings- I won the meal. Fried chicken was awesome. Perfectly seasoned and cooked. The ravioli was very tasty. But get the fried chicken. Or delmonico steak. Or homemade meatloaf. Or sea scallops. Or pistachio crusted salmon. Or lamb steak. Just. Go. Try. Something. It's awesome. We will be be returning for sure, hopefully much sooner than our next anniversary. Thanks again!

I grade on a relative and sliding scale... so when you start getting into upscale stuff the degree of difficulty goes up. This certainly deserves a 5 ... but I mean... gotta reserve a 5 for Four Seasons and Ritz Carlton right ;) ... Cotton is definitely a Manchester 5 though. Nice place!

I ate dinner at Cotton in with a group of six people. We got there early, around 5 p.m. on a Sunday so there were only a couple of other diners there. The service was friendly and efficient and the food food's great. I had a lamb steak that was perfectly medium rare as I ordered it and it was very tasty cut of meat. We got a calamari appetizer which was a fairly standard calamari. It was lightly battered and fried and tossed with chili peppers so it was slightly spicy. The calamari was cooked to Perfection, very tender and flavorful. That's where a lot of restaurants fall down on calamari. It can seem like you're chewing on a garden hose if they over cook it. Cotton Cooks it perfectly! Everyone in my party was happy with what they got. Cotton is a very solid quality restaurant.

The lunch menu is fantastic. The food was awesome, cooked to perfection. I had heard that Cotton was super expensive, but for lunch in Manchester I'd call it about average ($10 or so for a burger). Wait times were reasonable as well, though they recommended making reservations for lunch in the future. Try the meatloaf melt, it's awesome!

Great sangria, clean restaurant, decent food but nothing amazing, and the service was soooooooooo slow. We were there for over 2 hrs but only because the waiter never was around. I'll come back for a drink maybe but save your time and go elsewhere for dinner.

Waited an hour for a med-rare steak that was more sinue than meat and overcooked and underseasoned vegetables. Came here because of the high praise that it recieves here but it is not warrented. There are much better options in the area to drop $50 on a meal. Service was good and responsive but overall unsympathetic. The only redemption this place has is its house cocktails which are pretty good.

I came on a Friday night where there was quite a wait. Luckily, Cotton takes reservations and my party and I were seated right away as we had made a reservation. Cotton's aesthetic has an easiness to it with an upscale feel, which gives it a cool vibe. There are a variety of tables to sit at in the lower section, with high top seating in the upper section with an expansive bar. Cotton advertises itself as an American restaurant, and it surely is fitting, but their menu presents a variety of flavor combinations ranging from Americanized Asian to Italian options. On the evening that I came here, our waiter was extremely attentive and made sure to answer our questions and refill our water glasses periodically. I ended up ordering the Caesar salad with chicken and the crab cake appetizer. First off...the Caesar salad was OUT. OF. THIS. WORLD. I know, I know...it's salad, but it was MASSIVE and Cotton makes their own dressing which made it amazeballs. The crab cakes were also delicious with a corn and bean salsa and a spicy sauce on top. Both options were great! Overall, I really enjoyed my experience at Cotton. My one critique is that I wish they had a few more healthier options on their menu, and their price point can be a little expensive for some items, in my opinion. However, it surely doesn't deter me from wanting to come back for more!

Always excellent. Everything is chef-cooked and super fresh. Wonderful homemade sourdough crusty bread for a starter. Delmonico steak cooked to medium rare perfection with comfort food mashed potatoes. Turkey schnitzel was a nice entree with freshly made applesauce.

First time eating at Cotton, and we wish we started going there years ago. Too many delicious looking items on the menu, its hard to pick just one to order. The jambalaya was excellent. The farmhouse salad with pan-seared scallops was excellent. The toasted coconut cocktail was a bit sweet for me, but my wife loved the martini flight cocktail. The crab cakes appetizer is wonderful. And the price is reasonable, on top of it all, along with the wonderful service we had. We'll be back!
