First time after 6 years of living in neighborhood. What is with child labor & sitting @ bar. Did not see one adult or customer. Food was different from the newer places around. Wont be back, sham its 2 minutes away.

I visited your restaurant this past Friday...for the first time. I don't usually send out emails like this but I felt I needed to because of how impressed I was with my experience there. The atmosphere was relaxed enough for me to get some work done on my laptop. The waitress was very nice and I liked how she was able to bring me my appetizers even before I was able to decide on what else I was going to order. Lastly, the food was amazingly good. I'm glad I ordered enough for leftovers. The vegetable fried rice was the best I've ever eaten. I have already told a number of friends and family members about my experience. Thanks so much for quality food and service.

Amazing crispy pad Thai. Excellent Singha Thai beer. Delicious food, great atmosphere and service. Very good prices. This is one of our favorite go-to places to eat.

Went there for dinner a bit late, around 7:30pm on Thursday, and although it was quiet, the service was quick and courteous, and the food was great! We had spring rolls, pad thai and the avocado coconut curry special. Everything was fresh and delicious. We didn't realize until we were leaving that they have a great outdoor patio with full service, so we'll have to try that next time if the weather cooperates!

I've been here several times and have never been disappointed. Have not been to the buffet recently, but it was a good spread in the past. Today was surprisingly empty for middle of the week lunch. That concerned me that maybe they had gone downhill and people were avoiding it, but that was not the case. The pad Thai and spring rolls were excellent and service was prompt and curtious. My only complaint is I wish there pad Thai had more than 2 shrimp.

The food is wonderful but don't ever expect them to be open when you happen to be around, their hours are absolutely ludicrous!!! I won't be attempting to eat here ever again, 3 tries in the last month is enough, closed all 3 times and they weren't unreasonable times by any stretch.

Review update 2 - the food is decent but i am sorry to say this is just not a good option for a midweek lunch. The lady running the place is sweet but it takes what seems like an eternity for a bowl of pho to come out, even when it's completely dead. Review update - I've been back a few times since my original review and I am happy to say their service has improved DRAMATICALLY. The waiter/owner is very nice and efficient. Food is decent but it seems no longer overshadowed by terrible service. Try the chicken & yellow noodle soup bowl, I enjoyed it. Original review - Awful, awful, awful service every single time I have been there...and I've been there a bunch of times. Food is decent but it is torture dealing with the wait staff.

I've been eating here since I was really young. It was always my favorite. On my birthday every year my parents bought me food here. I still go out of the way to eat here. Warm place with the best food I know of.

Great food. They really get how to accommodate special food requirements. This includes saying that they can't make a particular item in a way that meets your needs. I haven't been there at the busiest times, but it has always been very quiet with many open tables.

I have been going to Chiangmai for over 10 years with a large group from out of town often twice a year. The food has been great over the years and I can't even tell you what my favorite dish is. The Lobster bisque is a must and I always love the duck entrees, and for me I have to end with some ginger ice cream. The reason for the lack of stars is not from the food however its from the service. I don't know what has happened or if it is under new ownership, but the staff just doesn't seem interested anymore. Besides when they took our order and when they finally brought drinks (had to remind them a few times about a couple) we didn't see the staff. My last visit was the first time I walked away disappointed not in the food but the staff.

One of the worst food experiences of my life. I got chicken and shrimp stir fried with vegetables. I asked for brown rice and they brought white. I had to wait 10 more minutes for brown and it was hard as a rock. The chicKen and shrimp were beyond overcooked as if they had it cooked already and threw it in a wolk. The vegetables were most likely frozen, overcooked and tasteless. I took one bite of each thing and was done. The ladies bathroom needs a major overhaul and is old and dirty. The decor is really old. Not a place I will ever come to again.

Yum!, tasty food served by someone who knows and can explain how they can accommodate our gluten-free needs. We have been enjoying Chiang Mai for many happy family meals over the past few years. I really like the Silver Pad Thai made with bean thread noodles.

Food is good. Lobster soup is incredible. Spice level is pretty moderate for Thai food, but we didn't ask for anything extra hot.
