Fantastic burritos. My only complaint is it was a bit crowded, but they seemed to be moving through the line as fast as reasonably possible, so not really much they can do about that. I am wondering though... The person in front of me ordered a "California burrito" that had melted cheese and french fries, among other things inside, but was not listed on the menu... Not sure if there is a 'secret menu' that can be found somewhere, or if it was just a summer special that was recently de-listed from the menu.

Fast, super-fresh, perfectly seasoned authentic Mexican food. Best in town. Hand-made tortilla chips are a great side for a burrito bowl. Clean and clearly well-run by folks which food service experience. Excellent value for fresh. I like spicy and the spice didn’t ruin the flavor. Highly recommend for those who enjoy fresh foods.

Ill make this short and sweet, this is the THE best Mexican in nashua. Place is super clean and everything tastes Delicious!! And the reason is.... because theres a sweet lady who runs the kitchen, that has been cooking for years and enjoys and respects her job! Not like all the cell phone watching lazy teens, these huge Mexican restaurants chains hire... chipotle ... guys keep up the great work!!

The food is Ecuadorian and is good. The parking can be a little bit of a challenge but as a whole it's easy enough and there is an apartment community right next door that you can probably illegally sneak a parking space in if you need to. The ceiling is somewhat minimal and the atmosphere is a little lacking but if you're looking for a quick bite to eat that is really good I highly recommend it

An authentic version of Chipotle where they build the burrito to order right in front of you. Traditional fun colored decor inside. The hot sauce had great flavor. Only major negative was the cheese just looked like plain grocery store "mexican" cheese. Pupsas were good, but a bit bland.

Well, that was an excellent choice for lunch!While driving through town on my way to my kids hockey game, I saw California Burritos. Being raised in San Diego and having Mexican food as my base of sustenance, I had to stop. I ordered a Carne Asada burrito and hard taco, it brought back memories of the places I used to frequent there. I also had to get a bag of chips and guacamole. The bonus was a fridge full of the Mexican soda brand “Jarritos ”. That soda has great flavor without being too sweet. They are all good flavors and complete the meal authenticity. The place is exceptionally clean, and the service is great. I would say everything on the menu is great. And I can’t wait to go back. What a great find in Nashua!

The food here is always great. I love their steak burritos. Steak grilled over the open fire is always a personal favorite. I would have given this place five stars had it not been for the fact that they never fill their salsa sides more than about half. It seems I’m always asking for more salsa. I know, a small issue but that is the only thing I can think of that doesn’t make this place five stars. The people behind the counter are always nice even if your aren’t Latino. I’ve been to some places like tacos lupita in Lowell that ignores you unless you speak Spanish. I come to California burrito to feel like I’m in the Caribbean as funny as that is. The music reminds me of the gulf and all the islands there.

This place is unique yet familiar, reminds me of Chipotle but they grill the food right behind the line for you, and the flavor profile is more authentic. Everything is super fresh. The hot spice is satisfactorily hot, which I can't say for many places! The atmosphere is cozy yet colorful and energetic. I'm definitely coming here again , and again....

Had the chicken quesadilla and my son had the Chicken Burrito. Both were really good. Not the giant oversized burritos Like you get overstuffed with at Chipotle or other places. The size is perfect for one setting no left over waste. I can't rate it a 5 off of one visit. I need to go back and try other offerings first to determine a different score. So far so good though

REAL FISH TACOS I used to live in southern California and have not had a decent fish taco on years, until yesterday. Everything was great, and the hot sauce was actually HOT. Raspberry margarita was nice. Kids loved quesadilla. Guac was fresh. Steak and chicken all great. And price was very reasonable. Even though it is nearly 45 min drive for us, we will be back.

Beef burrito bowl tales 5 stars. Love beef is cut when u order not precut. Loved grilled chicken is already grilled and cutup for my burrito too. Pomegranate Margarita best ever. First of all the service is solid, counter style and your burrito gets passed down the line. Tortilla type, filling (rice/beans/onions/peppers), protein, then accouterments. Fast and simple. You know what really blew me away though? I ordered a chicken burrito because it's the true test of a burrito joint: it's easy to keep some shredded "steak" tender and soft when you work with a flank or even roast cut well seasoned, but chicken breast when it's overcooked is basically rubber; but the California Burrito team cooks to order and cuts chicken down as ordered too... I saw that and knew I was in for a surprise.

California Burritos is just OK. Certainly not bad but OK. For the first time customer it is slightly confusing. At the end, they tell you what you owe them, but they do not provide an itemized bill, so you don't really know why it is so expensive. It may be worthwhile but it is hard to tell.

Best burritos in town. Their meat is really tasty and spicy. Good selection of salsas. A bit pricier than Chipotle but definitely better taste. Their hot salsa is really hot, be careful before pouring it all over your burrito. One issue is that their chips basket is too small. I always end up having to get two orders of chips and salsa.

This place is simply amazing. The food is exceptional, authentic, magnitudes better than that Chipotle or Moe's garbage, and priced perfectly. The staff is friendly, patient with picky eater kid's orders, and super nice. The decor is bright and cheerful and always very clean. The best part is that it's kind of tucked away from the street and doesn't seem all that well-known yet so we've never had to wait in line to order. I'm sure that's all going to change as more people discover this gem so get your amazing burritos now before it's impossible to get through the door!

My wife and I like Chipotle so when I was told this place was "like Chipotle but better" I was eager to try it out, unfortunately I was pretty disappointed. The mariachi music was turned up to 11, it was physically painful to stand under the speaker just inside the doorway. I ordered a burrito with pork, the woman scooped a small amount of pork and put it on the grill to warm it. I thought that was pretty great until she then took about half of it and put it on my burrito. I had to ask for extra meat just to get a normal amount, I went with beef, then added med salsa, cheese, guacamole and lettuce. The rice was cold and hard, the pork extra fatty, the beef a bit dry, and the salsa had no heat at all. No salt or spice on anything so it was all pretty bland. I also got chips and guacamole, the chips were super over cooked and unsalted so they were totally bland and nearly too crunchy to eat, the guacamole wasn't bad though. Two of the women I spoke to didn't speak English particularly well and didn't understand much better. My wife has a gluten allergy so she asked if the corn taco shells we're cooked separate from the flour stuff, the woman at the counter was very confused and could not answer. She went with a bowl. Overall I was pretty disappointed with the whole experience. I normally would give them a second try but, even though my wife didn't order anything that should have contained gluten her lunch still set off her allergy completely ruining the rest of her day. Cross-contamination is obviously a problem. As a comparison to a typical Chipotle, the options are fewer, the quality is much lower and the prices are no better. I probably should have gone with two stars.

Decided to try California Burritos for the first time. Ordered a steak burrito. Very small amount of steak (3-4 small pieces) which was very tough and half of one of the pieces I could not chew and had to spit it out. The steak ended up on one side of the burrito. It was a good size burrito but 90% of it was stuffed with rice. Very disappointed. Poor value for the price and the poor quality ingredients. Based on my experience, I don't understand all the good reviews. Not sure I would give California Burritos a second change. The bottle of beer was good!

Waited 20 minutes just to get to the counter at noon on a Friday... then when I got to order my food I realized part of the problem is the language barrier. I had to ask her to repeat herself several times. Then after they get my order, there is so much confusion of who should be doing what... the lady that took the order is tossing food in containers, working the grill and prepping the meats. Then my meat, chicken gets mixed in with steak and they don’t care they just toss everything into a container and hope for the best of understanding some people refuse to eat red meat. The price is in line with what other places charge to toss food in a bowl. The dining room was clean and the frustration of other patrons waiting in line was somewhat amusing. I won’t go back, Chipotle seems to have the loose ends taken care of.

Wow my first time here and very impressed to say the least. I bought a carnitas burrito and the flavors were on point. The portion size was good and price was reasonable. You probably can get more for your dollar at Chipotle but the flavor doesn't even compare. If you want real authentic California style Mexican food this is the place to go.

I put down napkins so I wouldn't have to touch it and the napkins were so stuck to the counter they ripped when I tried to pull them off.

I have been here numerous times with my fiance and it's HANDS DOWN the best tacos / burritos anywhere in Southern New Hampshire. That's saying a lot since we eat tacos literally 2x a week minimum at as many different places as we can find. This is set up just like Qdoba and Chipotle as far as ordering goes, but that's where the similarities stop. Great friendly crew always when we go and you can get margaritas or beers as well which is a nice added bonus.

First time here and I was really impressed. I ordered a steak burrito bowl with yellow rice, black beans, hot salsa, and corn pico. The steak was fresh off the grill with lightly charred edges, which I really liked. My wife got the carnitas burrito bowl with cilantro rice and black beans; she really enjoyed it and split it with our daughter. The queso was very good and the tortilla chips were thick and perfect for eating the burrito bowl. Reasonable pricing, friendly staff, and great food!

Visiting the California Burrito in Hudson was a pretty great experience. The food was fantastic and finding they serve margaritas was a pleasant surprise. I tried the raspberry margarita and it's dangerously good. Overall it was a great experience and a fun way to finish some errand running with a friend.
