Atmosphere is funky cool. Drinks are great. Apps and desserts are innovative and good but.... the entrees we had were not good. The fish and chips were way overdone. Had to send it back. The fish was almost burned and tasted frozen . It was inedible.The second attempt wasn't much better. A burger ordered rare came literally well done and dry. Disappointing. Maybe they should skip making entrees and stick to apps and desserts. The mud pie was wonderful.

Best date night spot. My husband and I used to come every Friday when we lived in Milford. There is sometimes a wait, but we just grab a drink. The cocktails are perfection, love the sour empress! I currently crave their duck poutine and the bourbon dessert cinnamon roll amazingness...with ice cream. Love love love Bar One!

Really great food with a unique variety, and some of the best local beers on tap. Service was friendly although could have been more attentive. We arrived just after opening, although waited unecessarily long at certain times. This was a bit of an anomaly as we've been several times before and never had slow service. The food has always been great!

Food was pretty good but not worth the price unfortunately. Most of what we received was overcooked. Don't know if that is normal or if the cook was just having a bad night. Still, the flavor was very good and the potential is there, but even if it had come out perfect I still feel the prices are too high. Craft beer selection is very good, though a little limited.

little place in downtown milford, has been a few different places along the way, maybe this one will be a keeper, looks that way!!! lunch recently, on a sunday, their only lunch, place was very busy and folks kept coming in so that is a good sign, drinks were good and bartender pleasant, food was very good, had a cuban sandwich and wife had the beet burger i think it was called , a combo of beets and kale served as a burger, also very good...nice place, good food!!

Loved the atmosphere, the decorations and our waiter. Most of the food was really good (the chicken burger with slaw on the side and the bar one fries), just the hippie flatbread was pretty burnt. Would still definitely go there again. :) Oh and there were two dogs at a table outside and everyone was so friendly with them and even brought out a huge bowl of water. Gigantic plus!

One of my favorite places nearby. Great food and drinks, and I'm usually fairly picky. A little on the pricey side, but worth it. It's a busy place, so if you want a quiet empty spot this isn't it. Fast paced small bar with a decent sized food menu. Don't fear the occasional wait. It's worth it.

We love this off the oval place! If...u can find a seat!!! It's small, dark and very rarely quiet. But the vibe is great and piped music is also the best. Craft cocktails and the best wings and tenders ever!!! Wait staff and bar staff are friendly and relaxed yet always take care to make sure you're happy! A real Milford gem!!

After trying every restaurant we could find in Milford over the last 8 months, Bar One is now our clear favorite. Unique menu, cozy venue, and great staff. The Truffle Fries rock and the burgers never disappoint. Their mac & cheese flatbread is pretty awesome.

This is my new favorite place. Just ate here for the first time and I will now be a regular. EVERYTHING was amazing! The fried green tomatoes are to die for and my daughter said the kickin chicken sandwich was the best chicken sandwich was the best she's ever had in her life. The employees are some of the friendliest people I've ever encountered and I'm excited to go back there again and again!

I wish the place was a bit larger, they are doing such good business and sometimes it can be a bit crowded if you go during a busy time.

Me and this place didn't get off to a good start. I didn't like my initial interaction with the hostess when I called in, but whatever. My wife enjoyed the drinks she ordered. However, we ordered the charcuterie, and the waitress took our dinner order at the same time. Because of how busy the place was, my wife said, "They're going to bring our dinner order out right after the appetizer, aren't they?" The charcuterie plate was great, but sure enough, they brought out our entrees WAY too soon, so we ended up with an incredibly crowded table. Again, the food was pretty good, but the pacing really wasn't. I had a burger with candied bacon, and it was ok. My wife really enjoyed it, because I only ate half and her entree was lackluster, so she didn't eat much of it, and ate the other half of my burger instead. She had the pork wrap, and it was a mushy mess. She said the salad that accompanied it was great though, and the Bar One fries that came with my burger were really good as well. This place is a solid 3.5/5 on this interaction, but I honestly feel that if we had come in on a day that wasn't Saturday night, and made some better food choices, it would have been a definite 4/5. I'll update if we decide to go back. It's not that this place is bad, but we live closer to places we like better.

Love this place service is GREAT! Love everyone who works here. Lots of fun stuff on the menu, and I have enjoyed everything I have tried. Though they just need to be bigger, often hard to get a table. The kitchen seems to run behind at time. It is pretty new place, so I am sure the kinks will be smoothed out. I think with a small kitchen and the wait they would be better off with a slightly smaller menu and slightly higher prices to make it all even out a bit. Best Milford beverage and dining experience!!!

Just came in from a great date night at One Bar. Super friendly hostess let us know it could be up to a 40 minute wait but that a reservation was late so we might get seated sooner if they didn't show. We grabbed two great drinks at the bar and then were seated! All staff members were knowledgeable and friendly. Ordered the Chicken and Waffles appetizer and then a Black Burger with Bar One Fries and the Flatbread with butternut squash and all kinda of yummy stuff. The Chicken and Waffles were amazing and a great portion size (good size for 4 people for an app) so we were so full we took most of our entrees home. My husband was super happy with the beer (IPA) selection. I had a Malbec and then saw the Cinnamon Infused Margarita special and turns out they make it in batches so I was able to try it before ordering. It was so good, had cinnamon infused tequila, apple cider, lemon and lime according to the menu and came with a garnish of lime and a cinnamon stick. Not too sweet and really just perfect for this girl they loves a good margarita! Everyone was so friendly we kept thinking "oh she must be the owner" and left assuming we met the owner but who knows lol. Such a great night and we will definitely be back when we get the chance. With two small kids it's so meaningful to get a great experience especially when trying a place for the first time. Great job Bar One!

I'm an old retired guy from Florida that is visiting friends. Found this place on week night at 9pm when everything else in area was closed food service. What a great place, I had the chicken and waffles dinner, excellent. Others in our group had salads and burgers which are huge. Mostly a young millennial crowd, but we felt at home. They have a kids menu too.

Wat too trendy for young families. It's almost like they are trying too hard to be hip. The food is pretty good but it's pricey and small portions. I like the drink selections but at $12 a pop it makes for an expensive night out if you have more than one. I like the vibe, but it's not very comfortable with kids. All in all a cool place just not for everyone.

It's a small place and always very crowded, but for good reason...the food and drinks here are great. My wife swears the poutine here is the best. I had the Cajun fish tacos last night and they were great. Super fresh and great flavors. Good heat, but not stupid hot. Wife had the shrimp and grits and she loved them as well. We always recommend bar one, because they consistently deliver great food and wonderful service.

Very mixed review from me. Atmosphere was nice. Booths are a little awkward and hard to get in and out of. As for the food... Bugers and truffle fries were great. Poutine not so great. Very very salty and close to unedible. Mac n cheese flat bread ironically needed salt or maybe more cheese sauce. It was dry and flavorless. Wings were wings. Had to ask for blue cheese for buffalo wings, waited too long for it and was given a tiny amount of it. It was odd. Waittress was unattentive and seemed a bit miserable. Desserts were surprisingly delicious. Phantom gourmet missed the head of the nail on this one. Was so hopeful it would actually look as good and taste as good as seen on TV. They should stick to burgers salads and wings or taste things before serving. Any chef that would have tasted that duck confit would not have served it. I think it was over reduced and therefore too salty. All very fixable issues. Not sure I'd go back.

Make us proud to be from Milford, NH and have such an amazing restaurant to call a regular stopping ground. Kimmy did a great job with the menu and prizes are so cheap for the huge portions they dish out. They also has a FULL VEGAN & GLUTEN-FREE menu as well. I honestly wouldn’t mind paying more if they decided to raise the prices because the quality of the food is 100% worth it. Me being from Boston, they’re definitely on top on the food chain.
