Friendly place, with an outside bar and water misters to keep the patrons a bit cooler. Half price happy hour on all pours is almost a deal, for Las Vegas anyway where nothing is a deal. Try the Nashville chicken wings - fried, but really nicely done.

Stayed at the New York New York hotel and used Tom's Urban twice for breakfast/brunch. Great quality and service, portion size is really good. Highly recommend.

I have mixed feeling about this place. The location is really cool if you get a patio seat you're right on the strip and can people watch all night long. The wait is sometimes long but that's to be expected in Las Vegas. The food is okay nothing special but definitely worth trying. The biggest problem I had with this place was the service. Our waiter payed almost no attention to us beside taking our order and dropping off the check. Our drinks never got refilled and we had to get up and ask the bartender for silverware because we were never brought any and he never came back to check on us. They weren't very busy and we watched other tables get great service so I'm not entirely sure why we didn't deserve it. Overall not a bad place but there are definitely better around.

Nice restaurant but I informed the staff I was allergic to onions but my food was still delivered to me with a few onions and unfortunately I bit into my food and discovered this. Most restaurants would have comped my meal knowing the danger they could have caused but not this place. And the wait times for staff to even greet you are LONG. I'd hoped for a nice experience here but that didn't happen and I am sure I'd never enter this place again.

Fun spot in New York New York casino on the Las Vegas strip. The food is good but the drink specials are better. The giant beer is alot of fun. The ones with the two handles makes for a great picture. Don't do near here before a hockey game it's slammed to the gills. Not the fastest service on game days but normal days it's fun

First off Nate our server was top notch as well as the food. Later we came back for unlimited mimosas and they pour them great if you know what i mean. Chris our bartender was awesome. We have been in vegas 1 week and this has been our best customer service experience.

The service here was awful. The only reason they even received a star was became of the food I received. It wasn’t bad. However after hours of waiting we received our food cold. I don’t recommend this place if you have any sense of time management and want a decent experience. Worst service in vegas!

Stopped at Tom’s last night for a quick drink. Was asked for if I’d like a small or medium drink. I replied small. When the drink came it was quite tall, so I inquired if it was actually a small, and my waiter Emanuel said it was. He was friendly, but service was horribly slow. When the bill came I was charged $10 MORE than a small (the price of a mediim drink!).. When I asked our waiter he argued that’s what I ordered. I have a feeling he thought I was intoxicated and could get away with this. I still tipped him. But will never return....

Vegas use to be a cheap place to visit and lose money. Now you spend it all before hitting the casino. My real only complaint about Tom's Urban is the beer cost. $10 for a pint! I hope this isn't a trend to continue. Staff was nice, location was perfect for us, and the food was good.

Great place right on the strip that offers more than just bar food. We were attending the Gaga concert at the park and stopped here for dinner. Had the duck wings and a chopped salad. Both were delicious!! Got wrapped up in people watching and totally forgot to take pictures. Oops.

This is one of my favorite places to eat while in Vegas. Lots of variety in the menu. I’ve always had good food here. Last night I tried the shaved prime rib Philly. Very tasty! I did have one issue, however, and it’s something I read about in other reviews. The wax paper that keeps the slices of cheese from sticking together was in my sandwich. I didn’t realize it until I had taken a bite of the paper.

Food and drinks were great, atmosphere was cool and casual and sporty (Saturday in September so college football on all the TVs). Outdoor seating was mostly taller tables with stools so shorter or older folks might want to sit inside or request a regular table.

This place is great! It has a live DJ, with a fantastic view of the strip. Very upbeat exciting. Everyone that walked by, couldn't help but to bob their heads & grove to the beat of contemporary Hip Hop, with a talented DJ spin. Oh yeah, and the food is delicious & service was fantastic too!

My friend and I came here for lunch yesterday and we were both impressed with the service and the food. I had the Ginger Chicken Pot Sticker salad and it was one of the best salads I've ever had with a generous portion. The service was good and the meal was made in a reasonable time frame. The restaurant itself had a nice ambiance to it and the booth we sat at was comfortable. There is however only one washroom in the restaurant which is my only complaint. Overall I enjoyed dining here and will likely return in the future.

Very disappointed in Tom's Urban Restaurant in Las Vegas. Service was horrible..the waiter was lifeless and could care less if we were there. To make matters worse the place was filthy, empty plastic cups on the floor, filth all over the place, even duct tape holding a seat together. Gnats were flying everywhere, a lady two tables down killed at least four or five, I killed one myself. AND the worst part, the food was a huge disappointment.. tacos were tasteless and cold. Burger, was dry and had a very very funky taste to it. Not sure if it was a strange spice or something else, either way it was horrible. Beer was good.. but the indoor seating was like sitting in a cafeteria. I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere as there are many many wonderful restaurants in Las Vegas to choose from.

we have eaten there several times in the past. we did enjoy it so the times before. however, on this visit, the service was not good. on our second time in, we waited for 10-15 minutes at our table and no one checked on us. so we finally searched elsewhere for food. it is def give down hill, not to mention the new menu doesn't even have several of the great items we have enjoyed in the past like, the hangover burger. something def going on with the Vegas location. we are coming back in December and our hope is, you all get your act together, so we can enjoy the place like we use to.

Food was decent. I got sliders, and my boyfriend got duck wings. He said they were okay. My sliders were pretty good. Tots had a weird, garlic flavor that was unnecessary. The brunch items looked good. Service was horrible though. Our waiter acted like he didn’t care about anything. Never really checked on us. I had to go to the bar to get condiments. The music is a really random assortment of different genres. Apparently the bathroom was out of toilet paper and soap, so that’s lame. Wouldn’t really waste my time here.

Went to Tom’s Urban in Las Vegas twice, months apart. The first time we went into the bar during Happy Hour. The bartender had a bad attitude and complained the whole time. Today, we went in to the interior bar. I noticed that there was a draft I wanted at the outside bar that was not on draft at the interior bar. It was 105 degrees outside so we wanted to stay inside. When I mentioned that I saw a beer on draft at the other bar, the bartender stated “ Well, I would have to go all the way over there and get that!” I was completely astounded at her bad attitude. We got up and left and as we were leaving she made sure she said disparaging, unbusinesslike, and rude remarks! I will never go to this restaurant again or any Tom’s Urban anywhere. Is this a product of how they treat their employees or who they hire?????

Not a good experience. Our dinner took so long to come out and when it finally came out it was cold. We barely saw our waiter to ask to reheat our dinner. The host finally walked by and we were able to ask him to find our waiter but not before getting a dirty look as if we were inconveniencing him! The food wasn’t very memorable either. Not a fan!

I was just coming from the roller coaster and had been screaming so my throat was sore. I was hacking after we had been seated and REALLY needed some water. The waitress was nowhere to be found and we were given no water, so I had to get up and get water from the bar after at least 10 minutes. The bartenders were not that helpful either and I had to put myself in their face to get my water. After we finished eating, again our waitress could not be found so I asked someone else for our check and a to-go box. The waitress was dressed like she worked at a truck stop diner and had no makeup on, hair sloppily pulled back - not what you'd expect from a waitress who works on the Vegas Strip at all. Just tacky and bad service overall.

Great place for outside seating at the end of the strip. There is a bit distance to the main road and the sidewalk is less frequented than in other places. Food options and beer choices are good. The staff is very friendly. Try the nachos to share with friends, it's a large portion.

I have never given 3 star before. The guy on the front desk was great. The server was surly, and took a long time. One of the people I was with got a full glass another was all ice to the rim . No we didn't complain we had waited along time mind didn't want to waste anymore waiting for a refil of lemonade.

Our waitress was horrible. She barely acknowledged us. Other staff took care of us. Kicker is that there were only 3 other tables seated. Hosting staff was too busy chatting to each other to even seat us. Won't go again as it was a bit expensive for such rudeness.

This place has a very upbeat vibe. Fairly large Restaurant, you could be seated outdoors on the Las Vegas strip or inside. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Food was very good and the portions were just right. I highly recommend this restaurant over some of the Hotel Buffets in Las Vegas.

I went late in the evening. There were not a lot of customers but yet the food took a while to come out. The waitress was friendly/professional and from what I could see the place looked clean, hence the one star...But I had ordered to go a pepperoni pizza and it looked like a plain cheese pizza because there was about one (1) pepperoni per slice (even domino's, with their cheaper price, won't do this to you). Also, the Brussel sprouts I had orded were completely covered in oil, my vegetarian sibling had two bites and sadly had to toss it out. Perhaps the food will be better dining in? Either way, if you order to go please closely review your order.

This was one of our favorite Vegas restaurants until this trip. Terrible service. Ordered four different beers and was told after each order, sorry that is out right now. Server was completely uninformed and crabby. In fact, the two hosts were also in bad moods. The food has definitely gone downhill since our last visit. The burger I had was dry and the condiments were minuscule. The server was nowhere to be found to let her know. My husbands meal was flavorless. With all of the choices in Vegas we have others to choose from in the future and that's what we will be doing.

Great food, service behind the bar...not so much. Alyssa was very rude, ate wings while not taking care of customers. The four of us had poor service and an attitude and her tip showed it - $0.00, which is earned, not a given. Been here in the restaurant several times and the wait staff has always been excellent, unfortunately allyssa made the rating very poor.

I came here to grab a few drinks and ended up getting two 40 oz beers. The beer tasted fresh and the steins were well poured. I also ended up ordering nachos and was surprised by how good they tasted, but it could have also been the beer that made them taste delicious. The waitress was very nice and prompt and always kept our glasses filled with water. I sat outside in the patio and really enjoyed the experience. Since it was later in the evening, the weather wasn't too hot and the music was great.

This was a great atmosphere, right outside on the strip. The live DJ added a great feel and I did not have to pay any money to get in for the music like some other places. They have many choices of beer on tap. Overall good atmosphere.

I don't remember what kind of mixed drink we had but it was also very good. Everything was amazing. I wish there was one near me in New Jersey.

Great place for happy hour Drinks between 2 and 5 every day. Slow waitress service though......felt like they just ignored us for 10 mins before we had to go to the bar inside. Update: Now met a really rude and unhelpful waitress on our next visit. Don't think I'll bother going again. Downgraded my review now to a 2. Update 2: Had a reply from Tom's Urban on my review. It appears they copied and pasted a reply and ignored my review. They say, they are pleased we enjoyed our food. We never ate there! Now downgraded to a 1

Went there all three mornings of our visit because it was SO good! Get their burrito or huevos rancheros! The only reason why I'm giving it 4stars, instead of 5, was the service. Nice staff but they were all mediocre bartenders. We were served by 5 different ones between all three visits. None were friendly and one disappeared ALL the time. But the food is soooo worth it. Cool atmosphere too. Attached to New York New York, one of the best hotels there on the strip.

Friendly staff, good vibe. Easy to talk over music volume. Good music selection, some throwbacks. We gorged on the happy hour menu: potstickers - good, just a tad undercooked; fried pickles, excellent, and the sauce was delicious too; sliders (american) -tasty but a tad heavy on bread compared to rest; loaded tater tots -run of the mill tots; wings (Nashville hot) - spicey but not very... A bit on the odd sweet side, suspicion of brown sugar cinnamon added to dry rub. Will be back.

Poor service. Want to look and feel invisible? Go straight here and have your dreams realized. Forgot our order and then tried to reheat the loaded tots and served cold bacon. Enough wait staff in that place. Unsatisfactory with all the amazing options Vegas has to offer. Go elsewhere.

The service was great, very helpful. But the food was ok, we went for breakfast and I had the caramel French toast. Most pieces were pretty good but there were a few spots where the bread was mushy. We also had the omelet which was good and the pancakes (cant mess those up very much). Didnt get a chance to try any of the lunch items or the house made fresh pop tarts that they offer. The prices for breakfast were pretty reasonable being right in the New York, new York on the strip. Breakfast ended up being $43 for 3 people

I went here for brunch today while we are visiting. I have to say it was a great choice. I had the chicken and cornmeal pancake with Nashville hot on the side. My husband had the same thing plus a side of grits and we both enjoyed it. I would definitely go back to try other meals.

We will be back on our next trip and since we now know there is one in LA, we will have to visit them to see if they make the cut as well. Great food, good prices, wonderful service. I have been a fan of Tom's Urban for a long time. For years Vegas needed to get more of its food offerings outdoors. There was far too little patio dining. Tom's has always had a patio and it looks out on the faux Brooklyn Bridge. A very comfortable place to sit and people-watch. The food is very good as is the service. It is outside the NYNY Hotel.

I only stopped in at Tom's for a brief sit, to grab another drink. I ordered a beer and it was served nice and cold, filled up to the top where it should be. The bartenders we're friendly and weren't in too much of a hurry to check on each patron. Before I left I noticed a unique bloody Mary. It is called the Bourbon Bacon bloody Mary and it was excellent. They put two large strips of bacon in the drink which adds so much great flavor. I would suggest giving it a try if you stop by.

First time experience. Sat at the bar because we wanted to watch the hockey game. We were greeted by a not overly friendly bar tender. Asked if we could get some sound on the TV and she seemed uncertain and said no. Grabbed a couple big Tom size beers and sat down anyways. Seen the GM walking around and thought what the hell and asked him about the sound. GM went out of the way to move us to the smaller lounge and turned the sound on for us. Thanks from a couple Canadians ❤

Incredible! New addition to list of Vegas favorites. We stayed at the NY,NY so it was super convenient so we decided to try it. Ended up enjoying breakfast and dinner twice here during our week long stay - just delicious. For breakfast, I had grits & bacon both times (I'm a southern girl!) and my husband tried a couple different omelets. And for dinner, one night we both had burgers and loaded tots, the other I had lobster mac and he had a lobster roll - everything was just delicious. And Michael was our favorite waiter! Great personality and service!

Long wait for food with most of the tables empty. Had to ask for salt and pepper, and butter for toast. One bathroom for a restaurant. Really?!? Never refilled water when it was 95 outside. Ugh!!!

Great services server who served us very friendly with great smile and I had a burger it was good but bun was dry and harsh. My wife had a tacos its very good other than portion was too small.

Arrived at 7 am on a Wednesday, place was empty. Service staff was courteous and attentive, but the food was average. Their version of cheesey hash browns were cold and the cheese was coagulated. Portions are good sized, but had to wait 15 minutes for decaffeinated coffee. Don't know if I would go again.
