REVIEWS OF The Buffet at Luxor IN Nevada

Anne Parizeau

Best buffet we went to. Delicious food, efficient staff, great ambiance. Seating is divided into sections so you don't feel like you're in a large cafeteria

Alex Lucard

Nice place to go every once in awhile but I wouldn't want to spend a lot of time there.everything cost five times as much the food's not that good and you can smell cigarette smoke the entire time you're eating it given the chance I recommend leaving going outside to eat somewhere else it would be cheaper and you don't smell cigarette smoke.

jim cairns

All you can eat for $21

Alex E.

Really cool atmosphere here. The Luxor Egyptian theme is in full force down at the buffet and the result is a really, really unique setting for your meal!

Tim Sweet

The food was just okay, pretty standard for a buffet. I wish I would have paid more for a better buffet.

Bob Roll

Average food for the price. Nothing special to warrant another visit. The staff does a great job keeping all of the stations clean.

Hope Cash

All you can eat crab legs. Need I say more? Be sure to take them to the back near the pasta area to have them warmed. We didn't realize until our second plate that you don't have to eat them cold. Totally delicious. Pretty much are our weight on seafood. Very glad we stopped in and totally worth the price.

Melissa Nathan

My husband and I had our wedding dinner in the private room at The Buffet on Monday. Our experience with the staff at The Buffet was spectacular! Frances and Kevin went above and beyond with everything, and our celebration was fantastic! Thank you all for helping make our wedding so special!

Andrew Lee

It was ok. If it were a few dollars cheaper I would be open to another star. We went for dinner on day 1. The food was a little short in supply and the check in process was a mess. We opted to go to Excalibur’s which was a definite five star in comparison

Gilberto Q.T

Loved it........coming back for lunch and dinner..........

Shanna Lewis

The variety and taste of the food was just ok. I have had better.

Margie Cordova

Terrible selection for the price. I get better at Golden Corral. Not one friendly person. Carving service attendant very rude.

James Dugas

The food was great and the server Tony was excellent a great experience

Amber Fuller

I enjoyed the buffet. Good food and desserts. Staff was nice. I recommend getting their day pass. Worth your money if you're staying for a few days. Get their early, lines get long quickly.

Ryan 2727

This buffet is better than most of them we tried. The rolls were rock hard, but the rest was okay.

Sparkles Rogers

Food was well worth the 50 dollars i love this place.

Chris Frank

Modest, convenient and clean. If you set the correct expectation it’s acceptable. We did the all day buffet 2 days in a row and day 1 was certainly better than day 2, enough so that we did it again. Limited but varied menu of American, Italian, Latin & Asian. Less expensive and not as crowded as the other buffets in the middle of the strip, but not as large or varied; it’s a trade off.

quiet Clark

Was good for the price. Fried rice was my favorite

Sandra McMullen

Two stars because it is clean and the staff are friendly. Unfortunately, all of the food tastes like it came out of the freezer section of a grocery store. It is WAY TOO EXPENSIVE considering the food quality.

Kelly Lope

Lots of food choices, friendly atmosphere, great food with great taste, seating well arranged- great buffet

Alireza Sadeghi

Excellent brunch, amazing environment, nice staff! Totally worth the $20 I paid (refreshing alcoholic drinks included)

Blll 9

Good food needs more choices

Joeyy Mojica

Place looks amazing...food ok....

Jose Prado

This buffet is probably the one of the best ones in Vegas because the food selection is very very good. They have almost everything and the taste is amazing... trust me this is a place I highly recommend.

Gary DeMercurio

Great Buffett, however the times of great food at a cheap price in Vegas seem to be over. 25$+ for lunch

Brandon R

I'd say it has good but not great selections. Few items were out of stock. But overall it was delicious.

jazcar mommy

Was there for Saturday morning brunch. It was not worth the high price. The food was sub par at best. The charizo and eggs was missing the charizo. The bacon was floppy. They said that they have mimosas as part of the buffet but I was driving so there was no drinking for me. Oh and beware they try to charge a tip before you even sit down.

R Jack

Limited Veggie and Vegan options. The food selection is small. The salad bar had limited veggies like really only tomato and onions no mushrooms, no olives, no banana pepper for $27 I want to be able to make a nice salad. The dessert options were ok. I will never go back again.

Suppa Kyng

Awfully nasty

cheryl lavalley

The food was good and the service excellent. We were given 2 glasses of champagne because it was our anniversary.

Carol Smith

Good.. $45 all day buffet is a good deal

John W Gillis

Food was great! Well seasoned without the "straight from can" taste. Great variety representing many cultures and palates! Well done Luxor.

Raymundo Sandoval

Excellent service... food was alright... would give it 5 stars if it wasn't for the food.

Krysta-lee Dare

Pretty good! I'm not a fan of going to buffets for obvious reasons, but man I was super impressed with this one! Have been here now twice (once for dinner and again for breakfast) on 2 separate trips... and food was really good! Would defenitly come back!

Murli KN

One of the best I have seen since touring USA. The arrangement, variety & range with fantastic seating for excellent.

jose lara

Good food! Way better than I was expecting and the best salad I've had in a long time

Sean Park

It got better however the service still needs work. Food is ok for its price and the tables and seatings are also ok for its price. Pretty much tried every main strip property buffets but this is the place to go if you aren't that hungry and doesn't mind if you eat only plate or two and still don't feel you've wasted your money.

Evelyn Dean

The staff was very friendly and helpful. But the variety of food choices was somewhat disappointing as in there was NO variety! The American section didn't even have fried chicken or rice. And the Latin section had cheese, sour cream, etc. but no meat for the tacos. Dessert was okay. My family did not think it was worth the price at all. We won't be going back for sure!

Kristen Rust

This was probably one of the worst buffets I have ever had. The food was not only terrible, for the price the best thing offered was ribs and tri tips. My kids didn’t even like it . Golden Corral does better than that and for half the price. I never thought I’d say that

Casey Ryan

Ate dinner before the blue Man group show great atmosphere not a lot of seafood good variety have other food

Steve Edwards

Good not great. Went for brunch. Wish there was more variety of foods but the food available was good. I had the 2 hour unlimited bar which made all the difference. I would go again.

Dragan Dojcinovic

The brunch buffet had more of a variety then I expected. Several serving stations with ample amounts of food. Fresh eggs and bacon are my kryptonite. Fresh fruit, great variety of salads. Coffee and juice included with the price, alcohol at a premium (but limitless, if you want to down mimosas all morning). Over all clean, yummy and reasonably well priced ($21.99 USD), but I recommend utilizing the My Vegas rewards app where you can earn loyalty coins for coupons and vouchers. Which can be used at all MGM resorts properties.

Richy

No food variety at all. You'll spend more time walking around looking for something to eat. Bad service. Not worth it. GO Somewhere else.

Joe G

Had brunch. Mostly Chinese and Mexican food options. Was very good.

Clayton Parsons

Food ok asked for min 18 percent tip even before we sat and got are own food and drink

Seung Kuk Kim

Had a weekend bruch. Salad bar was excellent with variety of fresh salads. Enjoyed omelette made by a skillful cook. Also enjoyed prime rib. Few choices for sea food lovers since there were only one kind of fish(cat fish), shrimp and no oysters. But if you are a meat, omelette and salad lover looking for affordable buffet, you'll like this place~~ They also have all day take 2 pass buffet. It would be a good option since $39.99 weekdays and $44.99 weekends~

Matt Rouzer

Not bad for the money if you have a buy 1 get 1 free.

A Domschot

Expensive and limited in variety. Food wasn't anything to brag about. Server was very unfriendly.

Courtney Burrell

The environment was warm and inviting, very clean also. The food was amazing. Lots of variety. If you're on a budget you can eat there

raphael alexander

Typical low grade food for breakfast. Lunch is nice

Ross Hilmo

great buffet with a huge selection from different parts of the world. Everything looks fresh and great. Tasted wonderful and the staff took very well care of us.

Jason Hanna

For the price I was expecting a little bit more from the buffet however the service was great and the food they had tasted good. They have a few options for unlimited visits in one day to the buffet and unlimited during during happy hour but I didn’t buy them.

Everett Chisholm

cold food, glad that it was a comp. especially since they were charging holiday prices

Daphne Curtis

Great food. Huge assortment of food. Everything still warm and fresh

jesse malboeuf

Cold food, not good selection, costs extra for coffee or juice. Only good thing about this place was the omlete made fresh for you.

Tricia Laughlin

We had a 2 for 1 coupon and this buffet was amazing. We had the dinner buffet and it had great choices and food was hot and fresh. Would recommend this for anyone looking for a good buffet place. About 25 bucks a person.

Stacey Bixby

My suite is great! The buffet...MGM Grand is much better.

Sabrina Alexander

This has to be the worse dinner buffet I have ever been at. Thank god i had a voucher and I did not actually spend some of my hard earned money. I am from Florida and we don’t have any great food there but this is way worse. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEYS.

Ryan Dake

Super underrated buffet for breakfast. The other meals aren't anything to write home about, but for $20 the breakfast buffet here is one of the best options on the strip. Solid selection of breakfast foods, all done well.

Tigran Galoyan

For the price you pay, one would expect better quality and bigger variety.

Jean Rasch

Good food but pretty expensive almost $30 for a lunch

Mike E

I'd go somewhere else. For the price, it should be better. We came for dinner on a Saturday and the meat was either chewy or tough, depending on what you got. Other choices were just normal bland buffet food. We won't come back to this buffet.

David Trinh

The eating area is nice. The staff is friendly. And the buffet is quite cost effect compared to food options in the area.

Kaleb Kunzler

I was there on Superbowl Sunday (not a football fan) and the place was nearly empty, as expected. I payed for the premium buffet as it was Sunday. Limited selections and everything I ate was very blah. Looked great, but had zero flavor. Would not recommend.

Braxton Anderson

Great food exquisite dessert selection.

Georgia Hankins

I give it a two because our server was amazing, but the food was not good at all.

Chris Wright

Good choice of food. Good quality.

Chris Parrott

Horrible value. Crab legs were tiny. Prime rib was awful and tough. Not a good selection, especially vegetables. Service was slow. Was told this was a surprisingly good buffet but that must have been a while ago. Not worth $75.00 for 2 people.

Marsha Kirtley

Great food selection. Good taste. Love the drink selection!

Woodrow Plunkett

You know, I didn't expect much. Everything in Vegas has gotten so expensive that the buffet for breakfast is a good deal and thus my expectations were low. I was happily surprised. Good selection and better than the Mandalay buffets in terms of basics. Avoided the sushi and lox, I'm not crazy.

Dillon Eastwood

We came on a Wednesday night and paid $85 for three people. I have been to many buffets at half the price that were much better. This is cafeteria quality food that is WAY OVERPRICED! For food this expensive I would at least expected crab legs. Further, we added a tip of 18% up front and saw the server one time during the entire meal. Plates stacked up, we had to wait for straws, and get your own drinks. Luxor ought to be ASHAMED of themselves. Do not go here and save your money for a fine restaurant at the same price.

oyinda dada

I love the food here. They have something for everybody no matter your origin. Their array of desert is heavenly. They have a wide variety of drinks, and fruits. For the price $20, this is a good deal. And I will be checking back.

Laura N

Lots of variety. Good desserts. Decent price. Friendly staff!

Michael Bracke

Food was good, if you leave hungry its your own fault.

Nicole Veenendaal

My husband and I really enjoyed this buffet. We visited about a month ago and will be returning to this buffet next time we are in town. There is a nice selection and variety of food. I tried a little of everything and it was all very tasty. The buffet itself was clean and not busy at all. The staff were all very attentive and friendly. Overall we had a great experience!

Edythe Seighman

Not the best thing we have ever had that's for sure. The temps didn't seem hot enough to me. The best was the desserts.

Z M

Good breakfast buffet , great value as it is cheaper than most other buffets.

Jorge Perez

Good Salad and soups to choose from and dessert was delicious

Lauren Brewer

These reviews are misleading. My friends and I had an AMAZING experience at the Luxor Buffet for Brunch today. (So glad we ignored the 3.7 average!) The guy at the omelet station is PHENOMENAL. Delicious omelets and he clearly enjoys his job — great energy and attitude. The selection for brunch is excellent — pancakes, waffles, nice juicy breakfast potatoes, meat options, sushi, a gorgeous salad spread and the dessert sections was drool worthy. Everything was delicious. The service was EXCELLENT, and mimosas were included. Where I’m from and everywhere I’ve been, mimosas are not included under $30. We will be back!!!

M D

Amazing buffet! Great selection of foods. There is plenty snow crab for seafood lovers. You can have it cold or bring it to the chef and he will steam it or boil it for you. Tip: do the all day buffet for $49 and you can come and go as you please. Overall one of the best buffet we had in Vegas.

Phong Tran

The buffet was good for the $28 price tag of a place along the strip. There was good variety and freshly made food. The pizza and desserts were not that great though. The service was actually quite good, didn't expect it. They were very attentive and friendly. Worth checking out if you are looking for a buffet under $30 along the strip.

H M

Loved the decor. Bottomless mimosas served by a charismatic bartender. The food was pretty good. I think the deserts are where its at though with this buffet. Some of the food was not as fresh as others buffets we tried. But we still had a fun time and delicious food.

Alex Sidd

We bought the all day pass. It's 42+3tax=45/person on a Monday. We had a $75 voucher so we only paid $15. Really enjoyed the breakfast. But lunch/dinner were dissapointing. They had repeat dishes for both times. For dinner they had shrimp cocktails with the shells on. It was messy taking them off. They had mussels but was questioning how fresh they were. About a third of them didn't open. Next time will do the breakfast for sure but will opt to spend the vouchers at finer restaurants.

Marty Reardon

Insulting quality food and very small selection. Roast beef was mostly fat. Desserts are good if it wasn't in Las Vegas and I didn't eat at Rio's last. Even Hometown Buffet is better. No sushi. I went on a Thursday.

Hector M

it's getting worse every year. Might be the last year to eat there. too bad they were good in the past.

Mike Venezia

As far as hotel-casinos Buffet goes listen didn't have as many selections as some do however what outweighed that was the quality of the food and more importantly the cleanliness of the buffet and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff I have some specific dietary problems and the chef was more than happy to help Point things out to me and walk the buffet line with me voluntarily once he saw me struggling can't say enough good about that that says a lot for somebody who really cares about what people think about the food that is served I would highly recommend this Buffet it's in the basement of the Luxor under the casino floor and when we arrive there at 5:30 it was not super crowded would come back here in a heartbeat

Eugene Mendiola

The service was fine but the food needs improvement. There are better Buffets elsewhere. Like Bellagio and Mandalay Bay.

Kelly Pederson

Mediocre. Some things were good. I enjoyed the biscuits and gravy. The French toast sticks were hard as a rock and not real tasty. Omelet station guy was rushing people thru and I don't think the eggs were getting cooked. Lots of selection, including cold breakfast stuff. For $20 it was ok.

K Duc

Wanted to give this place a shot regardless of the suspicious reviews... I hate to say that they were right. No variety, mimosas too much oj, and food was just bland :( had a bogo coupon it’s the only reason why we went. Really good service though

Mark Townsend

Had the chance to take friends there during a recent Vegas trip and we enjoyed it. Excellent buffet and well marked for people with food allergies. Top tip - if you have to follow a gluten free diet, get the attention of someone at the bakery case for a gluten free dessert option. A good value for a Vegas buffet

Satya Fedorowsky

Pretty typical, normal buffet style. The staff is very nice. Cheesecake was good. The veggie sushi was decent. Also, it's very clean. Only buffet we went to in Las Vegas so nothing to compare to. Luxor is an interesting casino to walk around after you eat!

kelly ketchum

Horrible and we left. My wife doesnt like to complain and she did and we left. Will not stay at luxor again there customer service is so bad

Jane Wang

For the price the buffet quality is better than average.

Xavier de la torre

Reuben show my wife vegan options offered in the buffet she prepared some food for her and the rest of the options very good I would recommend the breakfast buffet at the Luxor

Jackie Gibb

My waitress was sweet, kind and helpful! The food, meh I won’t eat there again. The buns were good!

Linda Carlson

The food was great the staff really friendly and would goo there again

Eric S.

Decent food, why no pineapple?!?!?! Restrooms need some help (not a ton)..restocking tp and bowl cleanliness. Decorations need cleaning, "pillars" on way to buffet are black from grime of people touching them yuck!! Nice ambiance, great desserts (except no pineapple!! :( ) ..

David Larrabee

Brunch and a mix variety that was pretty good. Eggs, bacon, breakfast potatoes did not disappoint. Plus all you can drink mimosas

B rags2riches

I don’t understand how this buffet has such high rating being $25+. Granted, some of the reviews were saying breakfast was good with unlimited mimosas for the same price. I ate here on a Monday night. Usually, I choose places that are known to be very good for a certain type of food. This place is just food. No item was good and a basic Golden Corral is better. For a foreigner, I can see why the idea of eating “like an American” could have its appeal. It was fun hearing about the “golden days” of casino buffets in the 90s where they had steak and lobster and you’d wait for over an hour for a table. Clearly, this specific buffet aged worse than Courtney Cox.

Ar DR

Good food, good variety of food. Its good enough to get back there again.

Christy Hill

Weird experience... everything was dark? The food was just ok, and the one poor guy clearing the tables literally looked at our ticket and read out loud the amount we'd tipped before clearing. There are way better buffets in Vegas, surely they already know how they compare. Won't be back.

Dave Cairns

This buffet sucks, The Golden Corral is a much better buffet then this. The food was cold, low quality and most of the stuff was empty by 8pm. Skip the buffet, go anywhere else then here.

Meh Meh

Decent variety of food, good quality food, good staff, constantly keeping our table clean. Pleasant experience.

Emperia Lux

Lots of food to choose from, top quality and delicious! You will not be disappointed! Taste obviously depends on the person and what you like. But for most 99%, all good. Great staff. Beautiful place. I recommend it personally. I took couple pictures just to show you around it!

John Connor

Great value if you have the time to spend there.

Tykainoa

I've had better food from hometown buffet... selection leaves something to be desired, and quality is two star at the best. They may have gotten three stars if the clams had been flushed properly and the shrimp fully de-veined. Not worth 24.99, go down the street to a Gordan Ramsay restaurant or Wahlburgers and get some good food. (Two separate shrimp)

Damon Carron

Our wait staff Jose was excellent and beyond. He made us laugh wet made him laugh. The buffet itself was good, lots of choice. The salad section was fairly extensive. The hot food had a ton of choice, though honestly there was no easy I could try it all. The desserts were good but I had a bit of trouble finding stuff I liked, I'm kind of picky. I will go back. Use a 2-4-1 so worth it.

Holly

The motif was interesting, but aside from that, it wasn't impressive. We went for brunch the day we checked in. Very basic mix of foods for the most part, very long wait to enter, and not worth the price. On a positive note, bottomless mimosas are included for brunch (we went on a Sunday), if you are interested, but we passed. It was a perk that we recieved $15 off for hotel credit, but my husband said Golden Corral's quality was better. Would not go again.

Chris Khaler

Good food , menu is about the same as the excalibur but the atmosphere is nicer than the excalibur, waiter was nice, curtious and he had a good attitude.he made us feel welcome.

Blake Sundin

The bar was slim pickings coming in for brunch with a 50 dollar price tag for 2, I was not impressed with the quality of the food. The dessert bar and salad bar looked pretty good, but the rest of the buffet was lacking. Old sausage, bacon, and French toast sticks left for a disappointing dining experience.

Christian O

The buffet is very okay. The four stars is PURELY for the bar and bartender. It was a gentleman with tattoos, a sleeve, and short hair dark hair. He served my wife and I almost all day - talking to us and constantly being kind. He would even had some drinks ready before we asked! (We had free complimentary drinks for 2). I definitely tipped him almost every time we went up there just because he was a great guy who knew how to make us laugh. I wish I could remember his name to give him a shout-out but he definitely made our day!

Tarra Hanshaw

My son has sever anaphylaxis to milk and eggs so anytime we eat at a restaurant is a huge risk but it's just part of his life. Eating at a buffet raises the probability of an ER visit. We asked to speak with the head chef and were lucky enough to meet Ruben. He was very kind and generous with his time to explain the risks and what he would suggest. There were many options. He was very caring and came to check on me and my kids many times. We also met the manager arlelis and she was sweet and amazing even shared her healthy regimens with us. The food was great but the service was unparalleled!!!

Mark Newman

Great food. Charged tip up front which doesn't seem right.

Matt Chase

This buffet was so sad. 630pm on a Wednesday and most things were empty. Pizza is bland. Desserts were way too sweet. And the atmosphere was just sad and blah. Save your money.

Jacqueline Pantoja

My husband and I came to eat for lunch and it was great. It’s kinda hidden but we were able to find it. The line to get it in didn’t take long it was 5 mins or less. The food tasted amazing, everything was freshly made, the counters where the food was at was very clean, overall the whole place was nice and clean. The staff was friendly, the lady that sat us at our table would come around and on us to make sure everything if good (like the food or drinks or to see if we needed anything else). The food was nice and simple and very delicious.

Michael's Bolton

I'm going to give the Buffet at the Luxor hotel this rating not because of the food which I was so disappointed with the quality and the variety of food. The food gets a one star. Luxor Hotel please do something about the quality and variety of food, don't be so lazy as the cost of eating here DOES NOT equal the price you charge. The Team Members here we're great and very friendly. They get a five star.

Maurice van der Pluijm

Used to be very good. I come here since 2003. Now it's much more expensive and the food is bad! They did not even had french fries! For me it was a tradition to start Las Vegas with a diner here, but that tradition is now broken! No variety and bad qaulity for a high price! Shame on you Luxor!

Gordon Diem

Good food, but nothing special. Similar to an Old Country Buffet. Great wait staff makes this an enjoyable experience. .

Dana B

DO NOT EAT HERE. I cannot emphasize this enough. I was hesitant to try this buffet when I read the subpar reviews on Yelp and decent reviews on Google, but gave the buffet the benefit of the doubt. They have a very limited selection of food, presentation was mediocre, most of the food I had was cold, dry and tasteless. Both my husband and I couldn’t bare to consume half of our plates. To put it simply, everything here was uneatable. For the garbage that was served, it’s a waste of money. $80 spend on pure garbage. (The server was nice though).

Ebone Afrika

Great time wide variety clean very spread out seats which I like my girlfriend liked the food so much she insists we stay at the Luxor next time

Doug W

Very good. Wide offering of food and drinks.

Jane Doe

This buffet was pretty good. They served a decent amount of food from different cultures labeled as Italian, American, and Latin. We came during brunch. I think it was about $25.00 per person. If you go to their website, they advertise their prices for different times and days of the week. I liked their roast beef and salmon. I'm glad they were serving squash as well. There was also a section where they can make your own personalized omelet. I didn't care much for their tamales because it was dry. I wished they served more vegetable dishes. I loved their dessert, particularly the one in the plastic clear container (see picture) I think it was chocolate mousse with tiny malt balls on top.

anne pi

Good for the price. We paid $25 for a weekday dinner. Not the biggest selection, but the food was tasty. The desserts stand out as particularly nice. I enjoyed the decor, which made it seem like we were inside an Egyptian archaeological dig. Fun!

Bryan Smith

This brunch buffet on this day (actually did it 2 days in a row) satisfied the HUNGER. An affordable price that I didn't mind paying at all. *Complimentary mimosas may have contributed* The choices can be endless. The tastes are decadent. From pizza to soup to salad bar to my all time favorite the caramel cookies and ice cream at the dessert station! I walked out of here about 5 lbs heavier and I am ok with that. Our server took plates and refilled drinks as needed. They do have a bottomless alcohol package you can add to the buffet. I declined as I was already feeling good. The Latin choices was pretty delicious. I will return when I am in Vegas again in that area. Thank you for satisfying my hunger! Respectfully, Bryan Oklahoma City

Klint Walker

Great buffet with quality food and lots of variety!!!

Angel Cowen

The buffet was mediocre. Most of the food I grabbed was barely luke warm. Idk if it was just my timing but I was not impressed.

Tricia Wilkinson

Food was fresh & lot of variety to choose from.

Denielle Wolff

Buffet was bomb!! First time we have been at the buffet here or in Vegas period and we were questioning why we havent done this before! We went during brunch hours, with breakfast and lunch options available, bar open with free mimosas (so amazing)! The food was delicious! Pot stickers, fried rice, salmon, pasta, chicken tacos, menudo, rice and beans everything was delicious! We didnt make it to the dessert area but it looked amazing!! We will for sure be back! Thanks Luxor for the free buffet coupon.

joe wayman

Did the all day pass. Breakfast was one of the best buffets in a long time. At dinner the salad bar was out of this world. The amount of items and the way it was decorated was cool. The radishes and carrots and a few other vegetables were pretty cool. You definitely need to go there

Justin Bissell

Decent enough buffet. A little overpriced for what you get but it is Vegas so about the same as anywhere else you'd go.

Teresa M. Torralba

I had a not so pleasant experience at the buffet restaurant re staff during our first brunch. But the manager came and spoke to me and apologized warmly. He even offered for us to have a drink or meals to give us a wonderful experience to bring back home to Toronto. A VERY classy act of kindness. Thank you Mr. Ruben Garcia!

Allison Brusuelas

Really good food just wish there was an omelet bar. Would definitely eat there again.

Olde Knight

It was a pretty good experience I ate here during brunch. Staff was very courteous and smiling. Food options were good enough to walk away full and content.

Rob Heidemann

We love this buffet for breakfast! Unlimited bacon. What can I say. Stayed next door but is easy to get to. The omelets are also amazing. Order whatever you want in it and they cook it right there in front of you. Tons of incredible breakfast foods from all over. Definitely recommend!

JoeKing Around

First off the picture doesn't match the place. The decor is wonderful. Due to MGM's annoying renovation plan of moving away from themes many of the special features of the Luxor's Egyptian theme are gone. Other than the Sphynx and the Pyramid (2 things that cannot be changed) the 3rd thing surprisingly enough is the Luxor Buffet. Because MGM put this buffet in the basement and installed very intriquite drawings and hyroglyphics into the support columns the theme cannot be changed or updated because it is structural. Very fascinating!! Oh yeah... Almost forgot. The food sucks. Eat somewhere else. The stars are merely for the atmosphere.

Salome Foster

Someone recently said the reviews of this buffet were misleading. Reviews are the opinions of the person writing them, no one is getting paid. While you may have a great experience, someone else may not have. We ate breakfast, brunch and dinner at the Luxor buffet less than a week ago. The breakfast and brunch, in my opinion, were average at best and the dinner options were very limited. If you didn't like Mexican or Italian you were pretty much eating salad and dessert, and maybe mashed potatoes. We had dinner twice hoping that the selections would change, but they didn't. The staff was polite and friendly and the statues and hieroglyphics around the dining room were beautiful. However if I ever stay at this hotel again, I will be sure to go next door to the Excalibur for the evening meal.

Maegan Clarke

I thought it was great, they had shrimp, ribs, roast beef.... the selection was huge. And the decor was INCREDIBLE. It was so beautiful.

O-Z Productions

Limited food items, I was expecting some better options overall it was decent, it’s average gotta step it up a bit on the quality of the Mexican and Chinese food (didn’t try the pasta but wife said it was good) and limited options but I went durning brunch/lunch so not sure if dinner is different. The scenery with the pillars n stuff is cool but that’s pretty much it, price wasn’t to bad. I think there were more seats than anything maybe make some more room for more food, I’ve had one other buffet from a casino and that’s Morongo and that place is bomb.

Angel Jennen Stellrecht

Best buffet in Vegas, great prices. I LOVE it!

Tina Darden

Buy the all day buffet from 11:00 am until 10:30 pm ( about $40 ) the bracelet is good for the Excalibur buffet as well

Surprisingly good and affordable

Sabine Roehling

Not bad, not great. Pricey for the selection.

Ronny Junkins

Went to the dinner buffet. The desserts were great. The rest of the offerings looked heavily picked over. Service was not great. Buffet at next door Excalibur much better.

They have so much to choose from . And I had an amazing experience as a vegan. The very knowledgeable Chef Ruben and his team always have delicious vegan options that they are happy to walk you through. Staff is kind, food is delicious and healthy. Recommend getting the day pass if you think you will have all your meals there.

The Buffet overall was a great experience. Foods were tasty. Alcoholic drinks were good. Would recommend and dine here again.

Good food, but you have to time it right to get the best food. A lot of stations were closed

The waiter JR was amazing. Definitely gave us really good ideas about what to do in Vegas and was very fun. Food was great and if we go back we hope to see him !!

Don't waste your money. Think carnival cruise buffet with less selection and cost 25 bucks. I'm far from picky, but did the all day buffet with wife for 95 bucks and lunch was so-so. I thought supper would be better, but same stuff exactly. I did hear breakfast is good though.

William Anderson

It was amazing food was delicious great service.

Anjali Sahasrabuddhe

It was really very nice.much more items were there.and Very good.

I would give them 5 if they have seafood. But we came on Wednesday night. The price was $25, a bit pricey for the food. The atmosphere was nice. The server was fantastic. We spilled the water, she helped with the smile on my face of understanding.

I’m in a good mood right now so let’s say 2.5 stars. This was a very “meh” buffet experience. Food was decent overall, but certainly not an “experience” of any sort. Carved roast beef was good, and the food seemed fresh. If you’re going to list sushi as a buffet item, please make sure it’s more than a few pieces of supermarket-style California roll. Also, the presence of nacho chips and a tub of orange cheese in the “Latin foods” section does not bode well. $150+ for my family of five would have been better spent at a nice pizza place with some craft beer for my wife and me.

Good breakfast selection. Very friendly staff. All day Buffett pass only good at Luxor though, no longer usable at Excalibur as well.

Jack Lowe

Sadly the options available are very limited. And all the food tastes the same. We had dinner and breakfast there both of which where very disappointing. They also ask if you would like to tip them before you have eaten dont do it. Just make your mind up after you've eaten there.

Zack Anderson

Aside from the fact that I have food allergies that ruled out me enjoying myself there, I got in there and it's not even up to Old Country Buffet status. Not a single thing looked good. No Mac and cheese? No fried chicken or fish? Even the pizza looked like it was made by someone who had never actually seen a pizza before. Thankfully the gracious staff gave me a refund as I had only been there for about 4 minutes before I went up to the counter.

Chris Flanery

Awsome food, and it was well price. Keep up the good work.

The whole time your at the luxor they make you feel like the buffet is to die for and like you just have to try it. So we gave in and tried it out. The food was awful. Any other restaurant in Vegas has better food than this. It was cold bland and tasted like it came out of the frozen section at walmart. I cant believe how disappointed I was by the food. And dont even get me started on the drink selections.. Or lack of. You couldn't pay me to eat here again. Save your money and eat anywhere else for waay better food.

The frech pudding is a tough one to finish, that was the best part about it. Although, I would recommend not letting children run around unsupervised, since I saw one licking the spoon for some of the desserts. Just a thought.
