DO NOT GO THERE! I went there last week while visiting Vegas with my friends and we were standing next to the bar when somebody stole my phone. When I went to security there were two other girls talking to them about their phones being stolen within 30 minutes of each other, however security kept saying there's nothing they can do about it and they refuse to check their cameras. I couldn't get Uber because I didn't have my phone and they did not even help calling me a cab. So, only go there if you're tired of your phone because there's a very great chance somebody will rob your belongings and they would do nothing about it. Worst club eveeer.

Third time back and it always delivers. Fun drinks in a huge bar/lounge area along with great ambiance. Today we had a group of 12 and did a family style meal. It was phenomenal. Everyone enjoyed the meal and the service was quick and attentive. People are complaining about the price but this is Vegas, people. A burger costs $18-21 at a decent eatery. If you like this kind of food you’ll love Tao!!!!

Extremely rude bouncers at outside entrance all on power trips. Claimed my 25-year-old friend’s ID was fake and wouldn’t allow us to enter, then talked to their manager and told us we’d have to pay to enter when the other bouncer told us women got in for free since we were staying in the Venetian. Zero communication which lead to a horrible experience. Truly one of the most rude interactions I’ve had with anyone in the service industry. Would give 0 stars if I could.

It was way over crowded, the dance floor was tiny and we kept getting pushed into the VIP Section that was roped off and the security guard actually shoved us out. I would not go back.

Such a fun place wow! I did not know what to expect, but I signed up for the RSVP list on event brite and decide to try it out with some friends. This place is sooo nice and classy while also being a great dance spot! We even got some cool pictures from their photographer posted online! Definitely coming back :)

The food and service were excellent. The restaurant has an amazing interior. Tao also does Omakase, which I wish I had gotten the chance to try. The sushi was delicious and I enjoyed my time here. The restaurant is very low lit, so if you don't like eating in a lower lit environment, you may want to pass.

I have nothing bad to day about this place. They were patient with our problematic reservation, the food was absolutely fantastic, the atmosphere was great, and the waitstaff was knowledgeable and attentive. Definitely recommend the potstickers, pretty much any of their sushi rolls, and the triple pork fried rice. Even the edamame was at another level. Please open one in Houston. You'll make a killing for at least 6 months.

Best sushi ever. Had the spicy mountain roll with spicy king crab and lobster topped with spicy tuna and avocado, absolutely exquisite. The asparagus tempura is delicious as well. All non alcoholic drinks are excellent.

This place is not worth the hype. Food was the same quality as PF Chang’s which is equivalent to Olive Garden quality if you know what I mean. They must pay celebs to go and hype it up. Really disappointed I wasted a dinner on this place.

I've been going to Vegas for years and everytime I've been to Tao I've had some kind of issue. I would suggest another club such as Jewel, Marquee, Omnia or 1Oak. This last time the issue was this bald "security" wouldn't let me back in, even though multiple other staff allowed me to leave to use the bathroom on the casino floor. He let multiple people in and just for some particular reason would not let me in. I asked to speak to a manager. Apparently he's always one some power trip, is what I heard from other employees. When the manager arrived. The manager with a goatee was more concerned whether I had a credit card inside than resolving the issue of why I (specifically) not allowed in.

Really good, but over priced. Also they took long to bring the Imperial Wagyu nigiri, so it arrived cold. Our waitress then said it was supposed to be cold, but another one told us it was supposed to be warm. If it's warm, our waitress lied us; if it's cold, I don't recommend ordering it. Other than that, the restaurant is pretty good.

Went there for my friends birthday with a group of 6 and it was amazing. The music was great as will as the drinks and the dancers. The bartender helping out my group, as well as others, was so sweet and helpful. My group got in for free but with how amazing it was I would definitely pay to go there again.

The food was amazing! Spent a couple days in Vegas and there are so many options for food but I definitely don't regret eating here. Super delicious. The waiter was very knowledgeable about everything on the menu. The atmosphere is very good. Beautiful entrance way and great decor. The miso glazed seabass is great. I only wish I was hungrier when I went so I could have ordered more food.

Quick, strong, and very well tasting drinks for a 2 hour period.....he was one of the best bartenders ive ever seen....GO HERE IT WAS AWESOME

Yes, everything were fresh, stuff were nice, took care of us in professional way, however won't visit any of Tao's branch as to me their menu is not delicious at all. Did take several most famous dishes and liked none of them. It is just good marketing. Believe me, you can find better chiefs with more tasty kitchen in Las Vegas. I would prefer unhealthy Macdonals more then any Tao's food.

Where do I begin.....the decor in the restaurant & in the night club is beautiful. They do sometimes have live costumed girls in front of the entrance in rose petal bath tubs for allure. Very packed & popular place, a bit long of a wait to be seated because it's so popular. The entire restaurant is dimly lit red but still visible that gives it a nice ambiance. In the waiting area to be seated you can order drinks and Lounge in a Chic area which is also amazing too people watch LOL. The music in the restaurant is really good as well! not sure if there is actually a DJ spinning a record but the music works with the atmosphere. The menu is interesting the food is really good I'd have to say it was the first time I've had spicy lobster fried rice

Legit one of my best dining experiences I've ever had. Such a beautiful restaurant and delicious food. The tempura avocado and veggie dumplings were ahhh-may-zing. My friend got a lobster ravioli thing that she said was the best thing she ever ate and my boyfriend was very happy with BBQ beef ribs. Also, heads up, the bathroom that says yin is for ladies and Yang is for dudes.

Tao really came through for us for our wedding reception/celebration in Las Vegas on July 20, 2019. Our 50+ guests were so impressed with the overall high quality experience. I want to thank Jeff Boyle so very much for all of his efforts including the quick/effective communication at all times and the absolute care/respect he had for us in both the planning and execution process. The service from Jeff Boyle and Johanna Perlas was top-class as we truly felt that like we were dealing with a 5-star experience at all times. The servers in the restaurant were super diligent and really took great care of us; especially those with food allergies. The chef did an amazing job creating dishes for these individuals and they're still raving about the meal being the best tasting allergy/meat-free options they've ever experienced. As for the meal for all the other guests, I feel like it wouldn't have mattered what we selected from the menu as it still would have been among the best tasting food we've ever had - it was DELICIOUS; please extend our compliments to the chef and cooking staff. The seamless transition from the restaurant to the night club was handled in a highly impressive manner as well. The night club staff did a great job and we had a ton of support in getting us to our booth area (entire balcony) - boy was that a treat! Here's my feedback for improvement...(crickets). We now have a new and meaningful tradition to celebrate our wedding anniversary at Tao Vegas. Thanks again for the incredible memories!

The club & restaurant should have separate review posts. Anyways, I’ve had a great time at Tao Nightclub multiple times. However, the bouncers need to chill. They’re supposed to make sure people are safe & aren’t disrupting other people. I guess here, the bouncers want to fight & yell at you any chance they get. They need to learn how to keep their cool & diffuse situations.

AMAZING FOOD!!! It is part night club and part restaurant so it is quite loud. Music and loud conversations make the place a fun option. There is cool Asian decor which includes a very large buddha statue. The waiters are extremely nice and extremely busy. They have big personalities and try to upsell in a fun way so watch out for that. The food is expensive but I loved every bite (even the veggies)!

When you get to your table it's a total different atmosphere from when you walk in. We expected a quiet atmosphere to enjoy each others company and be able to carry on a conversation. The tables are packed in like sardines and the noise was so loud we couldn't hear each at all. The food was good, although 18.00 for 5 pot stickers as an appetizer is a bit too much. For prices like this it's actually better to go to Top of the World at the stratosphere.

FULL of FLAVORS!! Before I go into this, if my memory serves me correctly, this place used to be a night club back in the days. Regardless, the atmosphere creates a feel that allows you to enjoy your food. As you can imagine eating at any big name restaurant, the food is going to be good if not great. TAO did not fall short of this expectation.

Menu indicates many items that can be prepared gluten free. The vast majority of those items actually contain gluten in the marinade or coating. Why print in the menu that you can make something gluten free if that is completely false?

Food was very good, vibe was great but where I want to compliment them was their customer service. We were there on a very busy night and the food was coming out slowly and we cancelled our dessert because it was taking too long. They took care of our dessert and apologized and bought us a round of drinks to make up for it. Those gestures really turn the experience around and I am very happy to go back and support them again.

The place was pretty inside. Atmosphere was almost too dark. We went for an event for dinner so multiple items were served, and I was able to try many items on the menu. Not one thing was tasty. Truly the worst and most bland food I have ever eaten. Pad thai noodles were bland and overcooked. Skewered chicken tasted like cardboard. Salad tasted old and dirty, just lettuce and barely any of the citrus dressing. Everything else was bland as well. Ive never written a bad review but people should know. I would never think of hosting an event here. The cost was high and the food truly terrible.

Dinner was fantastic until the waiter instead of splitting the bill between me and a friend they double charged my card for both sides of the bill then gave us the wrong cards back so we suspected they charged the cards incorrectly the manager came and was very helpful to fix the issue until he came back and discovered the true issue after he re charged my card my half again then proceeded to say that they could do nothing else about it they offered to comp nothing so be careful the manager is an idiot and can't run a restaurant even dennys would've tried harder to fix that

NIGHTCLUB: Good... for a Vegas club. It was nice and modern. My complaints are the same as any Vegas club: drinks are overpriced, music is loud, there is nowhere to sit (or even stand). You always get yelled at for blocking walkways, so you pretty much have to be out on the dance floor getting your grind on with strangers and creepers. You can't have a conversation because the music is too loud. So, sure, if it's your thing.

Lost my phone in the night club.I inform security immediately and they said no one turned it in that night. They told me to call in the morning to see if they found it. I called like 9hr later (10am) got a hostess from the restaurant who was clueless. She told me to come to the restaurant and she will get security to take me up there to find my phone. So I came and I get there she looking all clueless like there is no who can take you. Come back. Really??? My GPS show my phone is in this location

I was told that I would get open bar at Tao Beach and was informed at the bar that it’s reserved for people in contact with Tao promoters. This was after I had already paid $25 for a locker. This was contrary to my first visit where I received a wristband at the bar when the men at the door neglected to and I had contacted NO TAO PROMOTERS. Complete waste of time and money. I will not be returning. These people are not consistent with their rules.

Wow! First place my husband took me on a date to in vegas when we visit for the first time in 2014! That date made me feel like a queen and Tao was the perfect place to assist him with that! The decor is breathe taking the life size Buddha in the front of the restaurant makes you feel so grand and let’s not start with the bath tubs that have rose petals in them! If you want high end, amazing, lush Asian cuisine this is your spot!!

We went there for a business dinner - totally exceeded our expectations! The ambiance and the Zen decor along with the incredible energy is an experience of it's own. The professional, superb and talented staff took great care of me and my guests, appetizers, the dinner and all the desserts were simply delicious. The waiter was super knowledgeable about every dish we asked about and his suggestions were spot on. Thank you for a great experience Tao - we shall return soon And please save room for dessert

Awesome Thai food. We enjoyed everything! The candy chicken was especially amazing. Only downside - they wouldn't let us get 2 tables although we were 12 people. They just gave us an 8 sits table with 12 chairs. There were unutilized tables all around during the evening, and it was kinda unprofessional.

Tao, at the Venetian in Las Vegas, was a pleasant surprise. We ordered "family style" and 4 of us shared everything. I tried just about everything but hands down, the fried rice was the BEST I have ever had anywhere! It was simply delicious. All of the other dishes were amazing as well. The staff was friendly and the food plentiful. When you walk inside it is like leaving Vegas and traveling to Asia. Simply an immersive restaurant. The ambiance is amazing. Candles everywhere and some amazing statues. I will be back for sure when we are in Las Vegas. This is a must do.

Staying at the Venetian, we thought Tao will be a great restaurant to check out. To start with, I made a dinner reservation for 10:30 pm. On reaching there, our table was not ready which was the first major sign of how the night would go. We finally had a table at 10:50 pm. We proceeded to order a spicy coconut shrimp main and 2 sushi plates. The shrimp arrived atleast half an hour before the sushi did, so we had quite an uncomfortable wait for our sushi. This was not expected at Tao and the food really lacked any lustre. The coconut shrimp was nothing to write home about but the sushi, well if it's an Asian bistro and you have specials as sushi, at least nail that. It was underwhelming to say the very least. Utterly disappointed with Tao.

Review for the restaurant only: I’ve to admit: The location is really nice and the food is tasty. But do not misunderstand the menu on display outside. The actual dish you want to order is a combination of multiple items, and the overall price can increase heavily. The waiter will give you pricy recommendations and not necessarily the best fit. However, if you take care on what you order, you should be fine. 2 stars for the decoration and the food. 3 missing stars for the tricky menu, the waiter talking you into pricy choices and one for the posh place that tries a bit too much to play a posh role.

We went this past weekend and the host stated we could get bottle service that includes a table, servicer, two bottles, security and chasers for 1200. The table was in a tiny dark corner and we couldn't see anything. We refused the table and were about to leave but they offered us another table (which was much much better) for 1500 which would essentially include the same thing (plus a 20% gratuity). In the end they charged us for all the chasers and didnt include the two bottles they had promised. Our total charge came out to almost 2600. We tried to dispute it with no luck. The manager offered us "guest list" to come back as some sort of "apology". Terrible!!! Cant believe how they take advantage of people.

Excellent all around! Excellent service, food, presentation, timing, etc, etc, etc. If you want a first class restaurant experience that is down to earth and unpretentious, Tao is for you. Loved it so much we ate there 2 nights in a row. Excellent!
