The food is horrible. Most food had a problem such as dried out, funny taste, glue like, not hot and worse barely warm. Iceberg lettuce for salad mix but romaine lettuce but in Italian food section. Deserts even had a processed taste. Will not eat there at all during next stay. Took awhile to get those funky tastes out of my mouth.

I want to start with the food itself isn't bad. It's great for the price. I would have given this place a 4 star review. The waiters were amazing and always there to fill our drinks, take our plates and were super sweet. Easy to grab food, amazing variety, very chill atmosphere. But here's why i give it a 1 star review simply. I got sick. I got food poisoning. No matter how decent the food may be, if i get sick theres obviously a health hazard.

Food was good, but I got food poisoning from the shrimp there. I was the only one out of eight of us to eat the shrimp. Typical Vegas buffet food. Better with the discount coming from the player's card. Would go again. Couldn't tell the shrimp was bad. Gave off no odors or funny taste

Simple, not fancy buffet. Taste is decent. Desserts were on the dry side. Ice cream is good. Servers are nice

This buffet is not fancy at all but has a great breakfast and lunch at an affordable price especially for a large party. I opted out for another big name casino buffet this last time and regretted it. Haven't tried dinner but breakfast and lunch is always great. I'm not saying it's perfect because every buffet has its flaws. Again breakfast and lunch are okay at a reasonable price.

Only worth it if you get it comped as part of rewards. How is the pre-packaged cake even dry? The only things i had that tasted ok was the soup and orange chicken. Everything else was either gross or old. Maybe dinner is fine, but do NOT pay for lunch

I highly recommend this buffet! Fast, friendly service. Plenty of seating options. The food offers many options, for even the pickiest of eatters! Lots of amazing fresh, hot buffet variety of meats, seafood, prime rib. You can eat, till it hurts! Very affordable, and family friendly atmosphere.

A great place- no, THE BEST PLACE to eat. Service is fast, food is beautiful. It will fill you up! The not the best for 10 and below however. But if you are over that range, I think you are in for a treat. I highly recommend the Mongolian and the seafood section.

Delicious fresh food. Great selection. Price was very good for Las Vegas. They also have a lot of gluten free options including pizza and cake. In my opinion, this buffet is number one or two for lunch.

I specifically asked for a thick slice of prime rib. The guy said chef doesn't allow it, I'd have to take a couple of thin slices. Prime rib was good, and cooked right, but that was irritating. Taquitos were rock hard. The dessert cakes were dry and hard. The blue cheese dressing seems watered down, a lot. Jose, our server, was great. He was very attentive. At least that was good.

Excellent service from wait staff. Great value for breakfast. Excellent value for lunch and dinner especially if you have their free B Connected players club card. With the card it was less than $5 for breakfast using card points. SO $9.90 regular pricing minus $3 for the card and further card discounts.

We love Sunday Buffet here, Big crawfish the oxtail soup. But there are some that have funky taste like the calamary and orange chicken. Hopefully they will do something about this. Andy is their no. 1 server/busboy there! Thanks Andy!

Gold Coast buffet to me is the diamond in the rough. When all the fancy places are booked or you want something not as fancy, then this is the place to be. ...and there's usually a short line to get in.

Such an amazing buffet! Probably the best deal for a budget buffet in all of las Vegas. The food in general was just delicious, great selection for the price. But the staff there aren't very customer focused and look depressed to be there, kinda kills my appetite . Would definitely recommend to go!

Expectations were average, great price for Vegas buffets. We just arrived to Vegas and were very hungry! As we ate, we realized that we had overpaid. Food was dry, tasted bad, mimosas were the worst we have had. As we sat down, took for ever to get our drinks. The service employees started arguing with each other. Did I say the food was bad , well it was very bad! As we were getting ready to leave, the next shift service employee were once again arguing with each other! And again I have to say the food was very bad.

Four stars for the value, but the food is more on the three star side. Still, given the price, ease of seating, and variety of food, this buffet is an excellent value. I've gone for brunch/breakfast on a weekend where they have crawfish, made to order omelettes, and mimosas. Definitely try that out on a weekend. Other highlights were the chilaquiles, waffles, and breakfast sausage.

Large buffet. Very quick service. Large variety of items. Especially on the weekends. But it is more expensive on the weekends being brunch. Weekdays it is 10 bucks for buffet. Nothing fancy.

Nice buffet with plenty of choice and good quality as you should expect from Boyd gaming casino hotels. Had breakfast today with players cards, for two people cost just short of $16 Inc. your drinks. That's great value and a range that suits all. Super omelette station. What's not to like. Nice.

Extremely disappointed in the food. I fix better ribs on my patio. The ribs were tough and chewy. The grilled veggies were hard and not edible. The prime rib was fatty but good and medium rare. But the horseradish sauce was right out of a bottle. The casinos in Cali could teach the chef's how to make superior sauce. I complained to management that this is Las Vegas. I came here for the slot machines and the well known cuisine. The Rio is a great casino and hotel but could improve their buffet.

The salads and fruits are my favorites along with the desserts. The other selections from different cultures are offered and it's best to choose wisely. Some of the food tastes weird and is very filling. You get full quick. I would recommend to get the B"connected card for discounts thru out casino, including this buffet.

This buffet is in the Gold Coast casino, lots of good food, excellent selections, fresh fruit and the dessert are fabulous! Cost is 16.00 per person, a great deal for the amount of food offered and that includes the drinks too! I loved it!

Overall this was a good deal especially compared to other Saturday night buffets. Some of the food was bland but not too bad. Dessert section was seriously lacking in my opinion...lots of sugar free reduced sugar options...not too many regulars. They have gelato and soft serve. Service was excellent.

Came here for lunch just today 2/01/19 and the food was disgusting. I should have known better when I saw no line at 1 o'clock on a Friday afternoon. The buffet's at Boyd properties used to be good. I even used to rave about them to folks but now I feel embarrassed. Boyd keeps lowering and lowering their quality to see just how much they can get away with. I feel sorry for the waitstaff. They all looked depressed knowing what slop was being served. The only thing I found passable was the taco meat. I paid 12.99. $6.99 would have been a more appropriate price point for this buffet. Although even if it was free it would still have been a miserable dining experience so 6.99 may be too much for this slop. I've never been in prison but I imagine this is the kind of slop that gets served.

It opens at 4:00 pm for dinner we got there at 4:45 and all of us 4 people felt like we got ripped off. Food was dried out except fried chicken and that had no flavor. The food offered did not look just prepared, it looked like it had been sitting out for hours. The fruit and salad was fresh. The Mexican food offered was very unappealing and none of us were willing to try it. The waiters all looked exhausted and ready to go home. No smiles from any of the wait staff or food service people. Over all very disappointing and I think I'm done trying their buffets at different times in hopes it will be better than the last. It happens to be right across the street from Palms which just st got a really good rating from Best of Las Vegas. It's $5.00 more than this buffet ,but I'm willing to pay extra for a much better experience. I rated 3 stars bc of the convenience only bc I play at this casino frequently, but food I would rate 1 star, sorry ports o call. You gave us no choice

Staying at this casino. So having previous positive experience here I did return and will continue to return. I don't need much to satisfy a great review of a buffet! This place consistently puts out good quality food at a great price! The service from Arleen was warm and genuine. She definitely made the experience a great one. They had a lot to choose from all the way from multiple breads for toast, to eggs made to order including omelettes! Pancakes, waffles and so much bacon. Biscuits and gravy with 3 different gravy options. Fruits and grits, oatmeal, cream of wheat, cold cereals, danishes, breakfast burritos, sausage and really a lot I probably missed. It's hard to beat a sub $10 breakfast buffet in Las Vegas! And the Sunday brunch buffets with mimosa's!!! They mastered the good quality at affordable prices.
