I enjoyed Sunday brunch yesterday with my daughter. We were greeted with a smile and sat outside on the beautiful patio. The menu seemed to have something for everyones taste. The wine selections were also very nice I enjoyed the shrimp cocktail and a burger. I will go back. Excellent service and good food.

Last night my boyfriend and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary here at Americana and it was gorgeous! I can see why they were voted #1 for the best view. Everything we ordered tasted great and was served beautifully. I wish I could remember our servers name because he was fantastic and made our celebration even sweeter by surprising us with a complimentary candle lit dessert and a glass of champagne. I could not have picked a better restaurant to celebrate such an important day. They offer outside seating that's right next to the lake, which is decorated with flowers and lights everywhere! The view is seriously gorgeous! Nothing in Las Vegas compares. I would recommend going at sunset to walk down by the lake where there are birds and turtles to see. Then head to the restaurant for a beautiful sunset view of the lake. Towards the end of diner it will be dark and all the lights will be on! Thank you for a wonderful night, Americana!

My new favorite spot! I went to this restaurant with my husband and kids for both lunch and dinner and we love it! The kids enjoy looking at the swans in the lake and the artwork all over the restaurant. The food is incredible! It's such a relaxing and fun experience to eat here . It's New American fare with wonderful choices and options. The servers were knowledgeable and attentive. Definitely deserves 5 stars! Very good food however the waiters are extremely aggressive about up-selling what ever wine or food Commission contest they seem to be having that day. Asked 3 times if we wanted the wine he was selling, then even brought the bottle by and interrupted our conversation again. Then even though we already had salad, apps and ordered dinner, waiter was still “suggesting” apps. Lastly the waiter took our more than 1/2 full bottle of wine off the table when we went to the restroom and said it was empty. Obviously wanted to recycle and sell by the glass tomorrow. It could be a nice place If it was not such a hustle. I came here several times and they could have me back often, but they try to squeeze every dime out of you, have a sales sales sales agenda and can ruin your experience. If you don’t mind constant interruptions from waiters trying to sell you something, and paying for a full bottle of wine, but get less than 1/2, then this is your place, but I won’t be back.

Bugs in the water. Our initial waiter didn't wait on us at the start of the experience, so another waiter came by without us saying anything about 10 minutes into the experience to tell us that he was taking over because the other waiter was too busy. $18 Grey Goose martini. Those were the most memorable things about dinner.

I've had quite a bad experience. Me and my family went there for dinner. We were in Vegas for a bit and decided to give this restaurant a go due to the favourable reviews it had. We got a seafood platter to share, at first. It wasn't bad, wasn't great. Not enough food for the given price. Next was the mains. Scallops were good, the surf and turf alright. And the ribeye was absolutely disgusting. The meat must have had turned bad or something. Did not feel like beef at all. We ordered a dessert, a layered chocolate cake. Would have expected a bit more than a chocolate cake mix from your local grocery store mixed whith what felt like chocolate butter. Also quite huge. Not on par with the price. Also didn't like the surprise of seeing that announced price (on the menu) were not the same as the price on the bill. Although the wine was excellent. Whoever selected the wine for us did a wonderful job. The service was good too. So 2 stars thanks to that.

I had a wonderful time at Americana Las Vegas and it was truly an honor meeting chef Stephen Blandino. My Italian salad with homemade vinaigrette mozzarella and Italian cold cuts was so delicious and presented so artfully. The staff went out of their way, which made my visit extra memorable. The view was spectacular though. I felt like I was in Newport Beach again. :-)

Mothers day gone bad. Brunch was managed terribly. We were being seated to an overflow after waiting almost an hour, where you don't have a view, you don't have live entertainment. Didn't even ask us if it was okay for us to be seated there, assuming we would settle for that??? My daughter had to go back to one of the hostesses to get us a better table which she did find for us. For someone who made reservations, everyone should be seated, treated to what is expected of their restaurant, even if it was the busiest day. I, say the server, managed to make up for that lunch, but not the manager/supervisor that day. First-time to experience this, upsetting management.

Want to try out the brunch which was labeled as all you can eat, and it was phenomenal! The place is wonderful - especially if it's a nice day outside you must get a Lakeside seat. All the servers were very polite, courteous and attentive. And most important of all, the food was all well prepared and delicious! There's even a bottomless Mimosa or Bloody Mary option for an extra $20 a person. I would come here all the time, and would be a great place to bring a date or parents

I had the wagyu. Which is a type of stake from Japan. They came out and cooked it right in front of me. It was a great dinner and great experience. There is seating outside or inside. This is quite a bit more expensive than most people are used to. My meal was 100 dollars. But we are in Vegas, knowing we are going to burn through some money.

Is not as expensive as people make it out to be , very reasonable prices for how nice the restaurant is. The inside is remarkable definitely a great place to sit down with your family and celebrate. We decided to come here just for a toast for two and decided to sit outside with lakeviews in the morning. The amount of spider webs was insane. All the greenery outside is covered in spider webs / dead flies & the ratio is off. They really need to get someone out there to clean that. We didn't even want to sit at our table because we were surrounded by spider webs. I cannot exaggerate. Also just be careful because of the summer season , there are wasps out there. We saw a few and they cleared us out of table. It's a nice place they just need to clean up outside.

For our anniversary we tried this restaurant for the first time. It was a great experience from beginning to end. Each of the people we encountered, from the bus boy to the owner, did their job well - and acted like they enjoyed being there. I had the salmon, and it was great. My wife had the bone-in ribeye and she loved it. There was enough for leftovers. Multiple people acknowledged our anniversary, and we received a complimentary dessert. We intend to go back!

The food was delicious, however, service was not good on this visit. After waiting an hour and half of the ordered food still not at the table, we ended up leaving. The manager and chef were very kind and apologetic, but it doesn't answer how an order of French toast placed by two different servers three times didn't arrive. I would like to try Americana again in the future and hopefully add two more stars to my rating.

They were serving a table side meat dish in a small space with low ceilings. The fumes were so heavy the whole restaurant smelled like grease and smoke, really REALLY bad idea. I was choking on the fumes half the time. Very mediocre for the price and location. Nothing really different or special on the menu, but the food was fine. The most disappointing was the supposed foie gras and lobster ravioli appetizer, it tasted nothing of either and more like cauliflower.

Neat restaurant little hidden in corner, yet has pretty views of community lake inside at certain tables and outside also. Sat inside was to hot outside at the time. I like oysters and happily ordered a bunch. Friendly people and staff. Prices can be pricey for some. I like being able to walk around the lake after and relax. I've never been at dark and probably will one day. I recommend if in area and want a piece of pie of relaxation view.

Absolutely fantastic! My wife and I plus great friends tried Americana for the first time. We had chared Octopus, Beet salad and the Short ribs served with a bottle of Pino Noir. Food and service exceeded our expectations! The lake view and live piano made this a truly wonderful evening. Our waiter " Vinnie" made this a night to remember.

Had an awesome Thanksgiving dinner here. It's a fixed menu with a couple of options for each part of your 3 course meal. Bonus was a deep fried buttermilk turkey leg from the kitchen. Kids under a certain age eat for free. They get a smallish turkey dinner. It's by no means small. Staff was attentive. Food was awesome.

Everyone I talked to while having dinner there had a positive spin on the food, drinks and why this place is unique. Hard to find these qualities in most transient Vegas restaurants. Vinnie was an awesome manager with a great story who has served and showed his appreciation for other Veterans.

Americana is a traditional and elegant white tablecloth restaurant. I've enjoyed the sea scallops, Nebraska bone-in ribeye, and smoked lamb chops. All the dishes I have ordered have been well cooked. The servers focus on presentation and prepare a few dishes tableside. They are extremely welcoming and make every effort to ensure you have a great experience. The restaurant sits on a lake. So, the view is a rare find in Las Vegas. Entrees are around $45 and appetizers are around $15. They also serve brunch, which I imagine is very nice on the lake.

Americana Not only a huge disappointment but Almost ruined my Father’s Day because it took half a day for everyone to stop talking about how bad and overpriced it was let’s start off with what was good which wasn’t much the view, Dessert was OK,What we’ve got here is an East Coast chef and East Coast servers who think they’re gonna run hustle on All of you laid back West Coast people that are afraid to speak up and tell them what an absolute ripoff $50 a head is for this brunch,First they start off by feeding you all the cheap Inexpensive dishes to try and fill up, So you don’t order two or three of the more expensive ones and cost them more money, but it wouldn’t matter because in my experience they didn’t come anyway, So if you choose not to listen to me and take your chances anyway don’t let the waiter pic for you off the menu, Order the big items first... Actual value of this brunch $30 per person and much of that is due To the location and view

Such an amazing and magical place went there for a late anniversary dinner with our best friends we frequent Vegas a few times a year and this is definitely a hidden gem a must visit place to go when you’re in Vegas! From the hostess Monica to our servers Cisco and Robert it was pure perfection from the minute we enter the front door they could just not do enough for us… They gave us a complimentary glass of wine and it was excellent! Our food I cannot begin to tell you was amazing my husband had the short rib and we had the spicy lobster spaghettini and the chicken with couscous The flavors were spectacular! We ordered the banana crème brûlée for dessert which I will say is the best I’ve ever had! And then they gave us a beautiful anniversary plate with macaroons and chocolate such a special touch! Where do you go during the day to see the beautiful Lakeside view or go at night with the beautiful chandelier lighting and twinkly lights everywhere it is truly A magical place we cannot wait to return in a few months if I could I would give it 10 stars out of 10 stars! So take a little time out from the craziness of the strip and check out this magical place called Americana! Pretty good food, very average service. We were seated quickly, then there was lots of waiting around for employees to get us menus, water and drink orders, bread dropped off, etc. I noticed other patrons coming up to employees that were hovering around the bar that we were seated nearby, asking for service (ready for our bill, can we get drinks). Lots of room for improvement to match the quality of the nice view.

The food is delicious. Definitely high end and worth every penny. The customer service on the other hand was subpar. When me and my guest walked in two male employees were standing right at the front counter splitting tips. They said not one word to us. Normally a person will say someone will be right with you, or something along those lines. Those two employees didn't even acknowledge our presence. After awkwardly standing around for someone to help us. The hostess walked over towards us and sat us outside by the lake. The hostess was very friendly and interpersonal. When our waiter came out to introduce himself. I kid you not it was one of the male employees that was splitting tips when we first walked in. Both me and my guest kind of smiled at each other like really? Definitely not a good way to start. I will say once we were seated he did start to treat us like paying customers. Overall the food was great, and I really enjoyed the lake side view. Would I go back? Uh I'm not a 100% sure. Probably not to be honest. When you're paying a good amount of money at a high end restaurant you expect excellent customer service, and I didn't receive that. I have to mention a gentleman named Ezekiel. He was not our waiter, but he was so polite and very kind. He constantly made sure me and my guest had water and was very helpful. If it wasn't for the food, the hostess, and Ezekiel my rating would have been a little lower.

We were there for Thanksgiving dinner. Obviously this is a very busy time, so we were understanding of the wait. Our waiter however, took our order, then never came back again...until it was time to deliver the bill. Others were jumping in to refill waters and bring us wine, but the waiter was nowhere to be seen. My favorite part of the tday meal is the mashed potatoes and gravy. This was not listed on the menu, but I asked the waiter and he said it was included. It did not arrive on our plates, but the waiter's assistants did not understand what I was looking for. When the waiter did arrive to bring the bill, I asked him about the potatoes. He produced a large bowl of delicious mashed potatoes, but we were finished with our meal already. Frustrating that he never checked on us, or this could have been easily resolved. Food gets a four, waiter gets a one.

Upscale dining. Perfect for weddings reception, excellent view of the lake. Exotic meals and the creativity of plating. Grilled octopus for appetizers perfect cook, melts to your mouth. I loved my lamb chop, they prepare it to my liking. Unparallel services from the staff. We going back again.

I recently purchased a house in the Desert Shores neighborhood and was eager to try Americana as it is walking distance from my home. I was blown away by the food and service. Everything we ordered was no less than superb and the quality of service was exemplary. Our waiter was highly knowledgeable of the menu and offered great suggestions for wine. It was easily one of the best meals I've had in a while. I'm absolutely thrilled this wonderful restaurant is just across the lake from me. It sounds like they offer a great happy hour and Sunday brunch that I will be trying soon as well. For anyone in the NW Las Vegas area this should be a go-to spot, and for everyone else it is absolutely worth the drive!

Food is excellent n waiter's service is great. Also I love the lake view they have. However, evening cashier has some attitude issue. As soon as I walked in (dark hair n light haired females) they did not greet but stares at u like u r not welcome. She did not say any word except " have u made ur reservation?" luckily I did made reservation but still had to wait 5minute before they check the seat. Also, I made reservation at the balcony since I wanted enjoy the better view of lake but she was asking me " are u sure u want to seat here? I was kindda bumped how rude she was. Love the varying menu, based on what's available from local farms. Service is superior, even on heavy holiday times. The lake view is relaxing. It is fairly expensive, but not when you look at the quality of food. Much of the food is organic. Sunday brunch is absolutely divine! My favorite brunch item is the shrimp and grits with gouda cheese.

Jesse was a delight. He really made my birthday a special one, and was attentive, professional, and it was obvious he genuinely cared. The food was amazing, and Americana has a very good wine and spirit selection. The view on the patio is amazing, and all the fish and turtles in the lake swimming up to say hello just topped it off! I almost didn't want to post how amazing this experience was because I want this place all to myself! Definitely will become a traditional spot for us. The ambiance is perfect for casual or special occasions. We had the seafood platter for 2 and holy heck is it big! So impressed. Extremely fresh and puts every other chilled seafood platter I've ever had to shame. I also had the lamb with a zinfandel reduction which paired very well with their Bonanza Cabernet from Wagner. I finished with the dark chocolate bar and left just enough of my cab to have with it, and once again was a great pairing for such a rich dessert. Excited to come back!

Americana was absolutely amazing. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They treated you as if you were a regular. My wife and I came here for a 6 course meal that was done for New Year's Eve specifically as they are normally closed on Mondays. We got the pairing of champagne and wine with each course. Plus it was unlimited for only $45 which we couldn't pass up. With each course the wait staff would explain what the meal was and the wine that was paired with it. Each dish was absolutely amazing. On the last dish with the lobster tail I opted for the A5 Wagyu steak instead of the included steak. It was to die for and extremely tender as their known for. It was absolutely my favorite dish. The restaurant is on a "Lake" but where I come from it's a glorified pond. Nonetheless it's still a pretty view. I would absolutely recommend this place as everything was perfect.

I really liked this restaurant. We had the filet mignon and it was cooked perfectly, which is usually a challenge because I order my steak well done. The prices are reasonable and it's about half an hour from the Vegas strip. It is definitely worth the drive. It's just so different than anything on the strip. It's on a pretty lake in the suburban part of Vegas. I actually saw this restaurant on an episode of "Marrying millions." Ironically enough we had the same waiter on the show lol so cool!

Two great friends highly recommended this place for their food and atmosphere and the restaurant did not let us down. Vinnie was our waiter and was excellent. We celebrated three birthdays and enjoyed every minute of it. Luckily there was not too many people outside, so we had the patio to ourselves. The view is amazing and the food as well. Americana is a very lovely restaurant on the lake in Desert Shores, Las Vegas. The food at this place is very nicely prepared. As for me & my gluten & lactose intolerant friends; we LOVE that the Chef will prepare our food according to our specifications. They truly understand food allergies and they go out of their way to satisfy our special requests. Americana is our go-to restaurant for lunch or dinner with our clients and for entertaining friends. The ambiance is amazing. Prices are very reasonable! Definitely a Must-Try; Must-Go for everyone!

Discovered this place by curiosity, just stopped by to see it after lunch at Marche Bacchus. Then came here for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. It is placed right on the lake just like the other place. Chef came with all his equipment just to cook a wagyu beef for by my table. He made it into an incredible show. Thank you guys.

The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. It is a great place for a special occasion. I went for my anniversary and was treated like royalty. Here's a great tip: make your reservation for 5, and it's like having the place to yourself. If you like bourbon, get the smoked old fashioned. The presentation alone is worth it. I would definitely go again. Oh, by the way, beautiful lakeside views!

My great food and beautiful off strip location in Desert Shores. The chef brings the fine dining to our burbs and as a long time burb person this is one of the 2 best non casino restaurant venues west of Buffalo and north of Lake Mead. It is pricey and worth it. The filet is heaven. The dishes perfect. Come and enjoy in Desert Shores!

Great place by the lake. It's 13 odd miles from the main strip. Nice place to have brunch and sample on as many as 20+ dishes and for $17 additional to unlimited alcohol. Good place for a brunch.
