If I could’ve given zero stars I would have, The food was cold and stale when we got there like it had been out Since noon. We came at about 430 on a Saturday. We may do with what was on the buffet until we started to eat it, we both about choked on the dry Chicken. The waitress came over and asked how everything was we simply told her that everything was cold and kind of gross. She said that she would ask them if they would make a pizza specifically a fresh one, they brought out the pizza however it was completely raw, the manager or whoever he was, Came to the table And asked assertively is there a problem? Which we said that the food basically sucked.He then got upset at the amount of food that was wasted apparently, told us that he would give us our drinks for free and discounted the buffet 50%, then informed us that the reason why the pizza was Raw was because they were trying to hurry up and cook it for us. Not once did he apologize for the Crappy cold food. He then got upset with us crumpled up the receipt slammed his hand down on the table and asked us to leave. Never once in any restaurant that I’ve been at have I had a manager act That way. He basically threw a fit because he can’t manage a store or the fact that we just complained and everyone else just Shut up and eat it because they don’thave anything else in town. We run a franchise just as he does and would never ever dream of treating Customers this way, and have also worked in the restaurant business for 20+ years and still never saw a manager treat customers this way. I will definitely never come back to this restaurant that’s for sure, I’ll go to Pizza Hut across the street. If you do go there make sure you don’t complain about the food. I will say that we went back in and tipped the waitress six dollars just for having toDeal with that

I'm not sure what Fresh means to some, but by my definition you won't find it here. It's a family and school student run restaurant. Not many options. This place stays open because there aren't many options in the middle of nowhere town. Oh yes, I also didn't appreciate the locals staring at me as I ate. They didn't recognize me as one of their town folk I guess, so they all stared....customers and staff. I could even hear them talking about me. It was ridiculous, so I stood up and introduced myself to that nosey table.

I have been to other Valentino's locations, so I was excited to see one on our route. This one, however, was disappointing. Items looked like they had been out for too long, so food was not great quality, at least not like the others I have been to. The staff was kind.

I believe that this was 1 of the worst experiences I've had at a Valentino's. It was 6 pm (peak supper time) and the lettuce was wilted and brownish, the blue cheese dressing tasted like it was ranch with blue cheese crumbles tossed in (I hate ranch).The hot food was not hot or fresh. Our server was totally oblivious to the simple needs of any of her customers. 4 of us were seated, she brought enough plates for 2. My husband was completely done with his salad and the rest of us were 1/2 way done before we got our Drinks (water). Asked for more plates as we all were completely done with salads, got them 5 minutes later. The dessert bar was a total joke. The mini turn overs and cookies were damn near ice cold and no cones for the ice cream. Got a bowl of ice cream and went to grab a spoon and there were several obviously used spoons in the basket with the ones offered to choose from, I told another server about that situation and she proceeded to pick out the dirty ones instead of taking the whole contaminated basket of spoons to be washed. Our fabulous server come to refill our water (for the 1st time and we're eating dessert) starts apologizing to us for her poor service saying it's because she's having several "blonde moments tonight". We are a table full of blondes...keep digging your hole little lady, keep digging.

I miss Valentino's in my hometown, so it's always good to find one. Didn't know they'd added several chicken items, so had to try most of them. Absolutely put them up against ANY restaurant! Then the Italian selections. OMG. The best food for the price: had Senior discount, and $1.99 Sunday kids' meals. If you leave Valentino's unhappy, you've done something wrong.

I stopped in during a road trip. It was along the way. It was nice to be able to get a fresh salad bar while driving. The staff was very friendly. The food on the buffet was fresh and good, as is usually the case with Valentino's. Not a ton of variety in terms of pizza options but pretty good spread nonetheless.

So, our waitress was good, can’t remember her name. I sat back and watched the buffet, and noticed there’s pretty much ONE guy running the show. Didn’t get his name but he’s got long hair, facial hair,glasses, stocking cap, older. Literally all of the other employees are standing around shooting the breeze while this guy rocks it. He never stopped moving. Promote this guy, he deserves a raise.

The pudding tastes canned, the tomato dipping sauces for the garlic sticks literally taste like it came straight from a can.. the fruits also, canned. Although a lot of the pizza looks custom made and have custom flavors and the crust looks homemade, there's ABSOLUTELY NO flavor to this food. The pasta and sauces looked so appetizing, and then NO flavor. I enjoyed the desert. The bread pudding was my favorite. On their sign it says that "valentino's famous for chicken". The chicken was the only main food that was good.. And they are actually the official pizza place for the Nebraska huskers. What a joke!! I was VERY disappointed!!The staff was very nice, and genuine.

Very good buffet for the price and quality, $.9.95 for adults and children are .75 cents to there age for the buffet. The bacon cheeseburger pizza is the best! Great selection of pasta and sauces. Awesome flaky fried fish on Friday's and a salad bar thats got a huge selection of veggies and fruit. Very friendly and helpful staff. I highly recommend eating here if your travels lead you through Nebraska city. I wish we had a Valentino's pizza where I live. I'd come every week.

Really good food and excellent variety of fresh food. The salad bar offers a large variety of selections for salad or to go on your salad, including see real salad dressings. We particularly liked the broasted chicken and biscuits. And the pasta with Italian sausage and mushrooms red sauce was yummy. Add a variety of pizza and desert bar, you can't go wrong.

It pains me to give this place an average rating. As an above average sized man, I've loved eating at this buffet for a couple of decades. Unfortunately it seems that over the last year or two the buffet has changed. They added more selections to the buffet but this seems to have hurt the amount and quality of pizza they keep out, which is what they were known for in the beginning. The wait staff here has always been average at best and that has not changed. Nonetheless, when I find myself in Nebraska City I will surely return, just with different expectations.

Worst buffet ever! The pizza was dried out at 6:30pm. The pasta bar was cold. Everything seemed and tasted processed. Canned Alfredo sauce, frozen grilled chicken, and broccoli, and penne... really?!?! Canned fruit, canned pasta salad, canned, canned, canned on the salad bar. Just like to say you guys need to work on making your salads, I could have made it at my own home instead of wasting money on it.. The Food is All Canned Products..Instant Potatoes on Fried Food Bar,.... Lot of Carbs. The Sign out front said they were famous for their Chicken. I came in at 4:30 pm and the Fried Chicken was VERY Dry,.. Seems many young People working here that do not care whether you're there or not.. Once there and seated, I had to Go Hunting for my Waitress to ask for more Iced Tea, and if I was to re use the same plate over and over again at the buffet , at that time, she told me she would bring me another Plate. Sadly, I did not Tip her , because She could have easily just left me napkins and a plate at the Table. When I got up to find her . I did so , she was comfortable sitting texting on her cell phone and ignoring the floor... This place does Make a pretty okay ALL VEGETABLE Pizza... I wish More Places had this on a buffet as most mid westerners dont eat enough Vegetables anyway. Service is Lousy,.. Lots of Attitude from Servers,.. Alot of the food has a Right out of the Can Taste... Excellent Location,.. Lack of Educated Servers... Im Sorry, but I would not recommend this place to anyone unless youre the type of Eaters that go to Golden Corral just to stuff yourself with Carbs with no healthy eating habits at all...

My dining experience at the Valentino's in Nebraska city was very poor. Myself and another person arrived around 5 p.m. on a Friday, to enjoy Pizza breadsticks and other items offered at the buffet. However, I spent a half an hour at the restaurant and only once was pizza available. That was towards the end of my dining experience. The staff did offer to bring out pizza that we would like, but again on my first trip to the buffet there was no pizza or breadsticks available. All that was available was some fried chicken some lasagna and some other side dishes that were not Italian in nature. I was very disappointed with my visit to this Valentino's. I believe that there should have been at least some breadsticks available I also asked the staff multiple times if they would be bringing out breadsticks and they assured me they would. However Jeremih half-an-hour dining experience there was only two kinds of pizzas available and 0 breadsticks. They're also around five to six other tables of people dining. I believe there should have been at least three kinds of pizzas and at least a few breadsticks available for us to dine on , but again nothing what's brought out until the very end of my save and at that time it was 5:30 p.m. well into dinner time. I believe the staff should have been more prepared for a nightly Buffet, and should have that dress to that I would have liked breadsticks with my dinner. I would have gave it this rating one star I gave them two because the waitress was very helpful with our drinks and plates. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

They were understaffed. We had to wait quite a while for plates. After we got our food, we had to ask another waitress to bring us silverware. Our waitress had too many jobs. She was stocking the food bar, waitressing, and at the cash register. The food was excellent, but poor service.

I am torn on this one. Our service when we stopped was non-existent, but we did stop at peak time, the place was packed, and it appeared as though someone had not shown up for work. I think as we watched one server was trying to take care of 34 people. Which is probably why we were half way done with our meal before we got drinks. Kudos to her for the effort. The food....it is an italianish buffet for 10 bucks...you can't expect masterpieces. It was packed, the locals must love it, and I certainly ate a lot of it. The service should have dropped this to 3-stars but the effort brought it back up to 4.

We enjoy the food here. Our favorite is their speciality 3 sisters pizza. The buffet is sometimes not stocked with fresh items so you have wait. They will make special request pizzas and bring them to your table. The staff is often hit or miss. We have had especially attent servers to one who never came by our table after bringing our platez.
