I have been fortunate enough to have had the chance to eat Ahi Tuna at several restaurants around the globe, including fresh in Hawaii. Twisted Cork's Ahi Tuna dinner is hands down the best I have ever had with it's unique flavors and freshness. I will be coming back often, and while everything looked great, I'm not sure I'll be able to order anything but this dish. Also, for such a phenomenal experience the prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere can provide for a casual night out with friends, a date, or a business dinner.

While driving through Nebraska my friend and I decided to stop in after doing a little research of restaurants in the area. Atmosphere: the restaurant is in a wonderful area and the inside is very cozy with beautiful decor. Staff: had a wonderful server with a funny sense of humor! Was a very very very fun server who also kept to par on refills and making sure we were accommodated. She went as far as making sure my friends dog was treated! Food: EXCELLENT! I've traveled many places in my time and I put this restaurant at the very top. I had got THE BISTRO RUEBEN and it was by far the best Rueben I've ever ate! I split a order of J.D.F TACOS with my friend as a appetizer and they were phenomenal. My friend had gotten THE MAKENA STEW BOWL and was very tasty. First time trying Marlon fish and it was very delightful. It pared perfect with the curry broth. THE APPLE-BLEU SLAW was very tasty and the icing on the cake. On a 2,000 mile journey this restaurant won the award for the best restaurant on our trip. This also is in my all-time favorite restaurants I've ever been to. I will make it a priority to come visit this establishment again in my life and that's a promise!

We just visited Twisted Cork and loved the food and drinks! They have features from all over, like seafood from Hawaii, Alaska, local grassfed beef. I got the sea scallops and my husband got their flank steak. Both superb! They had a nice selection of drinks. I really liked the grapefruit giblet martini. We will definitely come back. Also, the atmosphere has a very social yet sentiment feel. Great place for a date or getting together with friends.

I've been here for lunch a few times. This was my first dinner experience. The wait staff was great! Gave me a perfect description of the wine, and paired it well with the roasted duck. If you like duck, get it! Ask the servers for recommendations. My other half ordered off the Omaha Dining Week menu & had an incredible beef dish that could be spicy, but the spice was served on the side. Allowed you to make it as spicy as you want. Great food. Great service. Great place. I'll be back for dinner anytime!

I loved what I got, but we were shocked at the price. I expected $$ to be a little less. Most of the meals are about $25. We picked the hamburger which was the cheaper exception. Love it. The meat had great flavor and cooked perfectly (I like it still a little red). With how good the burger was, I'm sure each of the other meals are worth every penny. I wasn't up to spending that much.

Lots of sea food selection in this pacific northwest “Seattle” themed restaurant. Being from Seattle I was loving the wine selection and all the seafood. It’s a pleasant atmosphere except some weird sound that comes from the bar when a round is ordered. That was an annoyance. Other than that we had a nice time and enjoyed the food.

This place was a fantastic! Loved how the ingredients and beers we're local. Phil was our server and he was fabulous - I went with a friend I hadn't seen in a few years and while we chatted he also made sure we were taken care of without hovering. When asked about the meal items, he gave detailed description and everything sounded wonderful! The food was out of this world. As a previous server/bartender, I commend the ability for customers to buy the kitchen a 6-pack for recognizing their talent and hard work More places should do this. It takes a team to run a restaurant and being able to thank and acknowledge the back of house is a terrific idea.

I came here for a late working lunch (they serve lunch until 3) and had the Green Plate Special $13 (Blue marlin fillet with kale, shiitake, corn, red onions, asparagus...) it was FANTASTIC. Dinner would be a bit out of my preferred price, but lunch was great and happy hour begins at 3, so 2:30 was the ideal time to arrive! I also had a Ginger Twisted Mule with candied ginger and it was also just wonderfully satisfying and an excellent balance of ginger (not overwhelming). The waitstaff is incredibly kind, attentive and engaging, which I particularly appreciated as a solo diner. If you're thinking about trying Twisted Cork, I would HIGHLY recommend it! Will definitely come back next time I'm in Omaha!

Absolutely amazing meal! We tried the grapefruit gimlet and the grapefruit and OJ mimosa. Both were super refreshing. We had the poke stack which has the most delicious sesame oil kale on it and then I had the Cioppino. Everything was so fresh, we will definitely be back.

The true sign of a great restaurant is returning time and time again at different times of day and in different seasons and always getting fabulous food and top-notch service. I have easily been to Twisted Cork a dozen times in the past year and have tried many different menu items and selections from the wine and cocktail list and each time I am so pleased. Another great thing about Twisted Cork is there location near the interstate; when meeting friends from all across town it seems to be relatively easy access from just about anywhere.

A fantastic place to have something a bit different. They take great pride on their seafood offerings and it shows. On my last visit, I had the Waileah Stew, which was the best use of curry flavoring I have ever had. Everything I have ever had there is great. On top of that, their wine list is well-curated and they have a few solid beers.

Right when you walk in, the atmosphere of the Twisted Cork is a pleasant and intimate one: similar to what you would find when walking through the Old Market of downtown Omaha, but without the complicated traffic and thoroughfares. I had the Seattle Teriyaki Bowl ($13) from the lunch menu and it was pretty amazing coupled with their root beer selection! The large plate came with teriyaki coated in sesame seeds and a sauce that blended really well with the market greens. The jasmine rice that was used was quite good as well and tasted as though it had actual jasmine in it, which is kind of rare! The prices on the menu were pretty decent and fair; my meal and beverage cost me less than $20 total for high quality food and friendly staff. I would definitely recommend the establishment to friends and will come back again.

A cute bistro. Food is listed with the suppliers they use on the menu. Their burger I had was supposed to be number 1 for Nebraska at one point. It was ok but not my personal favorite. It was served with chips that my friend really liked (not made in house we were told) and coleslaw with what looked like blue cheese on top. My friends dish was much more appealing. It was a blue Marlin. She remarked upon the pan Pacific dishes. They look like they have a lot of interesting choices that I would like to try in the future. Wine menu was quite extensive. Service was friendly and helpful. Their caramel for the cheese cake was exceptional. The pistachio is very subtle. It's just a slight sprinkling of real crushed pistachio.

I can't belive I have never been here before. My wife and I went here to try something new and it was amazing. Every thing we had was outstanding. Food network rated the burger #1 in Nebraska and I got to say it was one of the best that I have had. The fish, ceviche, and desert were incredible. If you have not gone here yet, just go and you will thank yourself later. What a food experience this place is. I only wish I had some pictures to put up.

Cheese plate had fruit that had obviously sat for some time. Apple was not crisp nor were the grapes. The cheese was good and we enjoyed the jam. Scallops were severely over cooked and rubbery, with straight sriracha for seasoning (there were additional seasonings but for those who know and love sriracha you understand how it overpowers). Ahi was low grade. Appreciate the dedication to sustainability which is why I can give two stars in good conscious. Bathroom condition was inoperable, still trying not to think about that. Good wine but will not return.

Diverse, neat entrees and side dishes. Delicious integration of sauces, with an emphasis on aioli. I had the teriyaki- chicken bowl; it was delicious. My wife had the ahi bowl and felt the same. My 3-year old son has their kid-size slider with chips, and he happily ate. The servers were kind, efficient, and helpful. The place is a bit dark inside. Overall, this place is a gem.

Went with coworkers to this spot for dinner. What a great place! They have a wonderful menu and the service is top notch! I believe our server's name was Tami. She took wonderful care of us! The inside is well decorated. The menu is great too. We shared an appetizer of pistachio wasabi ahi. Great flavor. I had the Zipline beer, which I was thrilled to find they had an altbier. If you're into those, this is a nice one. Not too heavy, good flavor. For my entree, I went with the prairie fire, thanks to our servers recommendation. It exceeded my expectations. One of the best flavored flank steaks I've had. You can definitely see the quality in the food. If you're in the area and looking for a nice spot, definitely check this out!

Stopped by for Brunch. The service was great and I liked the ambiance of the bistro. A no waiting to be seated for brunch is a plus. Tried the Chilaquiles Roja. Overall, each item in the dish was well seasoned and nicely cooked. The pork belly was melt in your mouth tender. The eggs were cooked to perfection and the yolks were dark yellow. The pineapple were nicely charred. They initially forgot the avocados but noticed quickly and brought it up in a side dish. However, the dish was also missing the tortillas, which could have been the reason for the dish to taste a bit more sour than expected. Another feedback is to double check the wine glasses for excessive watermarks. I’m sure this was an isolated experience and looking forward to try their dinner menu.

Stumbled upon this place on a visit from Seattle - could not have been more pleased! My wife ordered the ahi bowl - which was initially a cross-off, until we read about their sourcing (fish arrives daily, well-sourced, etc.) - coming from a place with lots of fresh Ahi, we were both really impressed. I ordered the burger, which had excellent flavor and was very juicy. It wasn’t the BEST BURGER EVER, but it hit the spot. Also the slaw that comes on the side of all sandwiches was great (and I typically hate Gorgonzola...they made it work.) Finally, I have to note that the service was perfect - greeted instantly, seated quickly, good knowledge of the menu, checked on us just enough...they hit all the little boxes. Can’t wait to return and explore more of the menu!

I recommend their salmon but make sure you ask for rare or the weekend chef could overcook it and dry it out which is horrible thing to do for salmon. The usually yummy Brownie dessert was overcooked last time. Somebody nuked it. Big no no. Staff might be trying to get free salmon by deliberately overcooking it. If you have to send it back report it later to management. I'm suspicious.
