When you see close to 1k in positive reviews... you know this is going to be a good experience. Small town feel, we prefer to go on days we know it will be a little slower. They have the best staff in town, if you have a great waitress at another restaurant, if The Eatery has a position open, this is the place to be. #LocalEats

The staff tries to provide a welcoming experience but the menu isn't worth the drive. Stopped in on a Sunday when I had unexpected time to pass. The only menu choices were heavy...lots of sauce, sodium, etc. The long and confusing menu from truck stop to Italian to Mexican to fusion as if copying the favorites of the big chains. I ended up choosing the salad bar which offered little variety. The food was satisfactory but not worth the money. The apple pie dessert didn't change my opinion of the experience. Again, it was decent, but not worth the money as I could have gotten equal from the grocery store.

Stopped by while in Lincoln from Kansas City. Will not do it again. Once we got our waitress to turn down the blaring television so we could hear each other talk the restaurant was ok. Most of the staff were more interested in the football game than service. Food was ok but not worth the price.

We have had consistently good service and great food here for years. My fries are always hot and they make a fantastic cheeseburger. Onion rings are also good. My wife hits up the chicken finger and wafflestick Combo every time. Last time I was in I ordered the midwestern burger. Every and I mean every part of this thing was perfect! Bacon was crispy but not crumbly, beef was cooked to order (med rare) hot pink and juicy. The bun was soft but had enough structural integrity to support a large juicy burger. I also liked the way the cheddar and bbq sauce played off each other. More burger than most of the gourmet burger joints offer at a better price WITH a side included. Hard to go wrong here.

While I've always thought this was a great name for a lesbian brothel, as a restaurant it is good. You can order a Bacon Sandwich off menu but be specific as to what you want or you may get just bacon and a tub of mayo (they will bring toast when you mention it was supposed to be a sandwich....). Between 4&7 there are a lot of old people there, and that's coming from an old person (50). They make me feel right young. But the food is great.

My family and I decided to give The Eatery a try recently and were thrilled with it. We went at 6 pm on a Friday night and were seated immediately. The salad bar was fresh and clean, not a ton of choices but very tasty nonetheless. We were also very happy with our main courses of flatbread pizza, hot beef sandwich, Belgian waffles and biscuits and gravy. Yes, they serve all day breakfast. Our food was served pretty quickly and our server Isiah was very attentive and kept glasses full. The price was also very attractive, $61 for a family of four, including 2 trips to the salad bar. Will definitely be going back and highly recommend to others.

Wonderful comfort food and all-day breakfast. My boyfriend and I are excited to come back and try the dessert and drink menu! The Eatery is one of those charming diner-esque places with friendly staff, appetizing food, and a warm atmosphere. The steak is better than it has any right to be. I wanted to try so many things!

Affectionately known in my family as “The Feedbag,” you have to accept this place for what it is. If you’re looking for exceptional quality food, forget it. But if you’re craving a full breakfast at close-to-noon on a Sunday but your wife could go for a burger and your kid is obsessed with nuggets or whatever, and above all else you know you want it FAST - the Feedbag has your back. Pack in here, have your limp hash browns, your piggy bacon, your greasy eggs. You don’t have to cook, it won’t break your wallet, the service is always friendly, and your meal will be adequate.

I just witnessed the manager argue with a woman about her meal in front of the entire restaurant. She had to pay $75 for cold food. It was such terrible customer service that my husband and I got up and left without even being seated. Extremely unprofessional. I will never go there again.

I have only been here once so I can't comment on the overall quality of the food, but from what I can see, it is very good. There style is very home made and friendly. The waitress was kind and knew my host by name. The atmosphere was very pleasing. If you want a homey restraunt then this is the place to be.

I was just informed by someone (guessing he was a manager) that the biscuits gravy I sent back that still had a literal PINK CENTER SAUSAGE PATTY was and I quote "pink because its fresh sausage" Maybe I am the dumbest person on earth but maybe its pink because you didnt cook it long enough. I'm sorry but I almost threw up after eating three bites when I got a mouthful of literal cold sausage.

This is better than The Eatery in Michigan by far! Owners your staff deserve tons of kudos! Even in the busy brunch hour they sat us almost immediately and did us right! Great portion sizes at reasonable prices make The Eatery a must. The salad bar is huge for the price, offering 50 items most of which are made in house. The menu is loaded with quality dinner style offerings without all the grease. The servers are polite and friendly, and service is pleasantly fast without being rushed.

I have celiac disease and told the waiter, Isaiah, that I couldn’t have any gluten or dairy. He made sure for both of the ingredients to not be in the food. I am very pleased with how well Isaiah kept checking to make sure there wasn’t any cross contamination happening. Highly recommend for those who have celiac disease or can’t have dairy.

Great local food. Diner type atmosphere. Best salad bar around, friendly servers and managers, and outstanding pie. Serriously, skip the other pie place in town. Great for vegetarians like me (lots of options--try the Bella burger!). And they have local brews (it's not a tavern, but if you want to try a few local beers with dinner, it's a nice touch). Family friendly, and super accepting. Skip the tux, but bring your appetite. It's not fancy, just delicious!

They have baked goods like pie and cheesecake and cinnamon rolls. Also breakfast any time of day. Plus pizza and burgers and shrimp and pasta. And for 2.99 you can go through a decent salad bar. Staff isn't always on top of it, but is usually nice.

Want brunch go here. Pancakes great Chicken fried steak was fine French toast was also great. Coffee is not very good or strong. Orange juice feels very water down. Cooks know how to season. Staff is friendly. The restuarant is clean but feels very old and out dated. Over all I would recommend this place. Not a lot of good brunch places in Lincoln so this is a nice place to have after a night out.

Worst ever cold hard bacon, asked for fresh cooked bacon cooked med. so it wasn't crisp. I go cold bacon. Twice! Then the manager was also rude . You've lost us as customers we ate there often love the waitress staff but food hasn't been the best for awhile .Today was the worst.

Enjoyed a relaxed Easter dinner at the Eatery. Love the Mediterranean chicken with side salad dressed with onions & orange segments drizzled with basalmic dressing. Others in our party enjoyed the salmon special. Their salmon is fresh not frozen. Enjoy that they have a liquor license so a glass of wine is often a dinner accompaniment.

American style food menu. The food quality was decent. A few in our group had the salad bar. Nothing fantastic. A few had burgers and thought they were good. Someone had the chicken salad sandwich with onion rings, she really liked it. The server was friendly and mostly efficient. Prices seemed a little steep for the portions.
