I already knew that I enjoyed the food and service at the Bánh Mì Shop, but when we went to celebrate their 1 year anniversary we found out that they have the best smoothies! I had the pineapple and my daughter had the mango and they were both delicious. Another thing that I found was that they have a really good soup as well. Though I won't eat it because it has beans, I did sample some of my wife's and the flavor was excellent! Give it a try if you stop in. There was fresh out ther I've bread that came with it too. The sandwiches are always great! It might take a bit to get used to the crunchiness of it, but once you do the sandwich is gone before you even know it. The fresh vegetables compliment one another so well. You have the choice of a handful of toppings that is also recommend trying. Shallots, hoisin, siracha and more. I was most surprised buy how good the peanuts go with the sandwich. I was a little hesitant to add them, but I thought "What the heck?!" Definitely will do that again. Wonderful flavor all over! Chloe, the owner, is awesome and I wish her much success!

There are plenty of other places in Lincoln and Omaha to get banh mi, but the sandwiches that they make here is second to none, I even got one for my mom (Vietnamese), who rarely compliments Vietnamese food, because "she can always do better", to my surprise she actually loved it! Although it's a bit out of the way for me to go here, I would gladly make the drive.

What the?! Where did this place come from?! I ordered a number of things on the menu and loved them all. I over ate. Bigly. Didn't cost much though. Unfortunate location for a place this good. You'd expect a Subway in their storefront, not something like this. This food would kill in a trendier part of town. If I have to call out something bad... I guess the young girls working the place choose awful music. A little cliche ladies. Play music that is as surprising as your sandwiches. Also, there are chips if you need some crunch, but no Cheetos. Not even Doritos! Doesn't matter. Order three sandwiches and two smoothies (like me), and eat them all (like me).

Great selection of drinks. I loved the sandwiches, I wasn't expecting it to be so flavorful but it was packed with flavor. The only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is the customer service. I've been there several times and 75% of the time the employees seemed bored or annoyed which was a bit disappointing because I came in super excited!....but then left feeling just meh. Luckily the food and reasonable prices will keep me coming back.

Really awesome Vietnamese sandwich shop. I've never really had a sandwich in this style and it was actually quite delicious. Since I have never had one before I have nothing to really compare it against. Though it did seem quite popular when I went there for lunch with some co-workers on a business trip to the local area. Prices were quite reasonable (easily get a meal for under $8), service was quick (less than 5 minutes after ordering), and the food was yummy. Pretty small place, and I could see how it might take longer if the line goes out the door, which, with how small of a place it is, it could very well do so. Overall, I would definitely revisit this place for food if I happen to be in the area again, and recommend it as a great quick lunch spot for anyone looking to try a sandwich place different from your typical subway style fast-food lunch sandwich restaurant.

Went for a quick dinner on a Saturday evening and was pleasantly surprised. My Banh Mi Thit Nuong with an added fried egg was exceptionally flavorful, getting better with every bite I savored. My wife enjoyed the Banh Mi Ga as well. My strawberry milk with boba was also very good. Service was fine as there was little wait with few customers in during our visit. We would love to see some side dishes added to the menu. Nothing too fancy, but perhaps some Chinese-style potato salad or Vietnamese tomato rice. Will return again and definitely looking forward to exploring their sandwich menu further!

This is our go to for a quick bite. Order by phone and dine in or just for pick up. They offer a loyalty punchcard to help make coming back easier. Any sandwich with pork (like #2) would be my suggestion. The shop is clean and inviting but I didn’t know it was there until a friend told us about it. If there was a sign on the back of the building facing the busy road I would have seen it sooner.

Delicious food for a low price! We came for the dumpling popup but stayed for more! The sandwiches are very tasty, so much so we got a second one to split! Dumplings were such a hit they we're almost out by the time we got there! We also got a mango smoothie which was so tasty, creamy and flavorful. The staff was very nice and helpful, it's a cute clean restaurant if you want to take the drive. A little out of the way, but so very worth it!

I was looking to try something different around Omaha, and boy was I sure in for a treat for this place! Probably my favorite part about this quaint shop was the chalk wall to the side of the register. It explained everything that a banh mi is, so even if you’re new to the whole experience, the staff and the variety of menu options make it totally customizable (I recommend adding a fried egg and sriracha)! Also big fan of all of the drinks!

I moved from Phoenix, AZ where I could easily get an array of international cuisine. Vietnamese food and bahn mi were plentiful. Now that I live in Omaha it's difficult to get quality international food and this shop is a light in the darkness. I was so excited to find this place. The only down side is that both times I have been here (so far) the green tea has been over brewed and has a strong tannin taste. I am sure this is due to sitting in dispensers all day, but it is very disappointing when I order rose green tea - something that should have a delicate flavor - and it is interrupted by bitterness.

I've been going to this place since its opened. Its a healthier alternative to all the fast food in this are, plus its the only place I know I can go to, besides starbucks if I'm just thirsty. Food is great, always made fresh, and its something different. Cute enough decor for a low key date or just a hang out. I've had nothing but good experiences here so I recommend it, but you really just gotta see for yourself.

I tried this for the first time today and LOVED it! I ordered the Grilled Pork, and it was delicious -- full of flavor and tasted so fresh. Though I took mine to go, I was pleasantly surprised by the welcoming ambience -- very light and cheerful. The employees were friendly and fun. I will definitely be back, and I look forward to exploring their teas as well.

I could go there with my friends or my mom even my grandpa and it would still be the perfect atmosphere. This is a hidden gem in Bellevue. Prices are fantastic ranging from a low of $3.95 to a high of $5.25 for their sandwiches Their bubble tea is also prixed well with a large at $3.95. They have milk tea and not the generic Americanized slush version, plus different options of boba and not just the tapioca pearls. I should say they have a huge variety. The only problem is their tea is very very weak in comparison to other places I've been (I haven't been to Omaha but I have been to Vancouver and Winnipeg recently). If you like a weak tea then it's ok, but I find it is more like a watered down version here. I went with the lemongrass pork sandwich which was delicious. Decor is very hipster (clean and modern), but pricing is exceptionally reasonable. Service was fine. Everything we tasted was great. Couldn't really find anything to complain about so will be happy to return at any time. I read the reviews about a stamp card but we did not receive one when we went. I think I did receive one at one point but on my most recent visit there wasn't one.

This is the best banh mi sandwich place in omaha area. Im glad I accidentally found it and went in to try. I'm very picky when eating vietnamese sandwiches, and this place makes the sandwich perfectly the way vietnamese people would expect it. Thei drinks are awesome. I loved the lychee green tea with whole lychee. The thai milk tea with boba was made with real tea, which i liked very much. Trying no. 3 (shredded chicken) & no. 5 (Chinese BBQ pork) today. We wanted to try no. 2 (grilled pork) but it wasn’t avail (mostly run out) so they suggest to order no.5 would be the closest substitution. My opinion: no.5 is better then no.3. Pork is tender and season nicely than shredded chicken. Overall both sandwiches taste good, the radish/carrot pickle bring out the flavor of the other ingredients. We also tried coconut boba tea. So many options for drinks and varieties of toppings.

The food was good. I've never had it before, so no way to compare it to anything. The boba tea and milk were also good. I had to remind staff of things I'd asked for a couple of times. It didn't seem like they were all aware of what I ordered. Nobody was unfriendly though. I'll definitely go back. I had the grilled pork sandwich and added egg. The meat was tasty, other than a dime sized piece of bone. Also, the lid on one boba tea wasn't sealed so it spilled a little in my car. The other tea was sealed properly though.

I got the #2 at the cashier's suggestion (she said it was the most popular item), and it was delicious. Other banh mi I have had in the past have been very spicy, and these were not. If you don't like/can't handle spicy food, don't be afraid to eat here! If you like your sandwiches spicier (like I do), you can add fresh or pickled jalapenos and sriracha. I also got the Thai milk tea with boba. The tea itself was great, and the boba were sweetened. I've never had sweetened boba before, and there was plenty of it. Situated at Galvin and Harvell by Baker's, it's a pretty easy drive from base, if you use the small gate (which, tbh, I haven't been on base in so long, I'm not sure if it's even open anymore). It's a little hidden, but definitely worth it!!! Quick service and delicious food made fresh. You can't go wrong.

Great sandwiches, their meat can be a little dry but still tastes good. My favorite is the tofu sandwich with hoisin, always delicious. They all kinds of bubble tea, still trying to find one that's not super sweet, but it's fun to try all their flavours. The way can be a little long, so probably not the best place to go when you have a short lunch if you plan to eat there. In all fun place to go for good food and good service.

It is an interesting place. Tried it on a whim one day for lunch and the food was ok. The bread for the sandwiches was very good. They had such a large selection of drinks available it was hard to narrow it down. I went with the strawberry lemonade and my wife got a peach black tea. Both safe options but they had milk bubble teas, smoothies and so much more. It is a very small place that appeared to be just a family running it with children at the grill. We will try it again.

Seriously outstanding gem in Bellevue. I DREAM about their bubble milk tea and tofu banh mi. They are a refreshing, quick, and inexpensive alternative to the dense, greasy, Americanized version of fast food we are all used to.

Can't speak to the massive drink selection, but the sandwiches are on point. So good you'll be wanting a second one (as they are on the small side, but appropriately priced). Looking forward to my next visit and many more to follow.
