Had dinner last night from out of town and reserved here based on reviews but we had the worst service experience. Food was good but the service left the worst aftertaste. I’ve been to quite a few nice steakhouses around the country and service here was horrible. When I’m paying $50-60 for a steak I expect to be offered or brought some house bread if it’s available. I shouldn’t have to ask the server for some after sitting there for 30 minutes after ordering our entree. Even sizzler and Olive Garden give you bread for free without asking. Went there to celebrate an event and put that in the reservation and no one even acknowledged the event. Why do they even have a place to put a request if they don’t know how to read it. Definitely not coming back to give my money to this establishment.

I took my wife to Sullivan's just after we got engaged for dinner and we were blown away. I had made the reservation before hand and let them know of the occasion. They told me they would make it "extra special". I was completely blown away. The staff was incredibly friendly and the food was even better. Easily one of the best meals I have ever had. We have vowed to return to Sullivan's for our anniversary dinner every year henceforth

The king crab legs were a bit floppy, which in my experience means it's been poorly flash-frozen or has been frozen for longer than it ought to. The (hybrid) wagyu strip was "just okay" when compared to other steaks I've had at a similar price point. Atmosphere is great, but the substance disappoints a bit, at least with these two dishes.

One of our faves in town!!! Great food, decor, and the staff is always wonderful!!! Also a great place for business gatherings (been to a few there), special occasions and the bar is very nice along with the outdoor seating. Recommend checking out if you haven't already!!!

Went for Christmas dinner. Food was good but server rushed us horribly. We ordered drinks before dinner and she put in our order so fast we couldn't even finish the drinks. If I'm going to pay their prices I want to be able to relax and enjoy the evening. The dining room was barely half full so there was no reason. I've never felt so rushed or pressured in a restaurant of this caliber before

Great place within walking distance of many hotels. Alexis's food and drink recommendations were spot on. Our eyes ended up being bigger than our hunger and we weren't able to finish our plates. The Calamari has a unique twist, if you like Calamari, give it a try. The banana fosters bread pudding was incredible!!!

Good, but no more than you would expect. No sommelier on staff. Some clear signs of lack of attention to detail, such as crooked lights on the ceiling. The Kansas City strip was as good as many expensive steakhouses such as Ruth's Chris or Morton's, on their average days. Staff was engaging but not expert. We found rose petals on the table after making reservations for our anniversary, which was nice.

Love the food and the staff is great. We prefer to sit at the bar because of the fantastic bartenders. However the music in the bar is ALWAYS TOO loud. Your musicians need to be in a bigger space, with lower ceilings, and they really need to turn the volume down. If it's too loud for the bartendar to hear an order or for us to know what the bartendar is asking, then it really is too loud. Today it was so defeaning we chose to sit outside. Which just makes the staff have to work harder than they already are. Move the 1 piece band and we along with many others would be back more often!!!

Oh my gosh where do I even begin? My wife ordered a steak. They didn't have the cut she wanted after having it promoted by the waitress. She settled for a lesser cut but when it arrived it was overcooked and they had run out of baked potatoes. When they brought her her new steak cooked correctly, they were quite pleased with themselves for having found a potato. Two bites in, she pulled a very long hair out of the sour cream in her potato. After reporting it to the waitress, the waitress left it there on the table. After the meal a different server came to the table and asked if my wife was done enjoying her potato. Our party of twelve was utterly appalled by the entire experience. We're unlikely to return.

Thursday night they have live music and an amazing happy hour. I love the steak egg rolls. Or Steak frites. Both are really yummy. Updating my review, my last visit there my boyfriend and I got a spoiled crab meat. I was really upset, so wanted to wait until I calmed down to leave a review. The general manager and waitress were really nice, and did a great job of resolving the issue. This is definitely a rare occurrence for Sullivans'. I'd still highly recommend the restaurant. The steak was really good.

Great atmosphere, I ordered the sea bass and waygu. Seabass was on the salty side. Waygu steak wasn't tender as I expected it to be. Perhaps it was a lazy Sunday evening in the kitchen. Overall drinks and service were great.

A short walk from the DoubleTree Hotel. They have an excellent selection of single malt whiskeys and good combination of high quality proteins. This is a picture of their 8 oz filet with a garlic and gorgonzola butter topping. It was absolutely delicious and I’m glad that I listened to the suggestion of my server recommending the butter topping.

This is an update of a review I made a few weeks back. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. The other night’s service was exceptional. The service was very quick and our server was adorable. And the steaks? Amazing! Among the best restaurants in Omaha that’s for sure. We love this place and we’ll keep coming back.

Place was fairly good, though very expensive for food that wasn't absolutely stellar. Paid >$60 for a steak that came out legitimately room temperature. It was Father's Day and College World Series weekend, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt; but having to send a nice steak back because it was undercooked and cold is frustrating. Food was otherwise pretty decent, and the atmosphere was pretty good. Waitress was quite fun as well, so points for that.

Service has always been great, but I have never been happy with the food. It is over priced, and often undercooked. I have received undercooked burgers numerous times, when they offered lunches, and even ordered steak and received something overcooked. I like medium and it came out closer to well. A steakhouse should understand how to cook steak and what it takes to get the desired level, as ordered. You would think that would be the first principle of a steakhouse.

This was my first time going there. The service was too long and we were there for over two hours. When my steak arrived, it was very undercooked and it was ice cold, like they'd made it 30 minutes before and left it out. When they went to rewarm it, they overcooked it and it was very dry and bland. The food there is not worth the price.

Not cheap, but a really great steak. Went there with a group during a conference and they did a nice job of being flexible as our group size changed. Service was top notch. Had a bone in rib eye which was a really great steak and cooked spot on at medium rare. Definitely a top place to go through for steaks in Omaha

Sullivan's steak house was a 5 star steakhouse!! The food was perfect!! The atmosphere was beautiful! The waitress was wonderful and knew the menu ...the drinks were great! We loved this restaurant and will be going back..its very pricy so you should go with that in mind...but its like the 4 seasons if not better.. I got the filet mignon with garlic horseradish mashed potatoes and blanched green beans....and a goose grey vodka screwdriver..I shared a creme brule desert with my friend...had nutella in it so like a chocolate creme brule....all in all the BEST RESTAURANT IN OMAHA!! WORTH TRYING!!

Appears to be a classic well established family owned elegant steak house restaurant. Very polite and efficient wait staff. I had the Ribeye cowboy cut steak. Steak was tender, slightly cooked past what I expected as medium rare, with a charred thin crust. I would have preferred the steak without this charred crust. Sides dishes served family style. We had several sides.. waitress recommended 5 or 6 sides for our party of 8....4 sides would have been more than enough.

Made a 7:45pm reservation on a Friday night, did not leave until 10pm due to slow service and kitchen. We asked for our glass of wine with our dinner meal, we received our wine at the last bite of steak. For a top-notch steakhouse, I expect better service and speed.

Food was decent. Sriracha shrimp was the best of our appetizers. Tried tartare and Aui tuna. Steak tartare needed crisper bread. Tuna was a solid dish but a bit heavy on horseradish. Nothing was bad, just wasnt wowed until the bill. May try again later.

I went to Sullivan's with a group of librarians in town for a database conference. We were about 60 in total and the service was amazing. The staff was super attentive and the selection on wines, liquor and beers were on point. We started off with a lobster shrimp bisque, then had the Herb Brick Chicken with Garlic Fingerling Potatoes, Cherry Peppers & Balsamic Cipollini Onions with a side of White Cheddar & Bacon Au Gratin Potatoes, Three Cheese Mac and finished it off with Flourless Chocolate Torte, Chocolate Mousse & Fresh Raspberries. I highly recommend if you are in the Omaha area.

Another fantastic dining option in Omaha, and not just for steak. Sullivan's offers a prix fixe option that separates them from other similar establishments, and this proved to be very popular with 5 of 6 people in our party. The fillets and salmon were expertly prepared, and my tuna fillet mignon was simple, elegant and delicious. Service was flawless, and the atmosphere is everything a top-shelf steakhouse should be - quiet, understated, and exuding class, right down to the art deco neon out front. They offered a 10% discount to our party due to the downtown convention we were attending, to boot. I enthusiastically recommend Sullivan's.

The steak we ordered was off. It smelled like it was cooked while it started to get bad. The management was kind enough to see that and offered another steak and they comped it off. The second steak they brought out was also bad smelling. But, we were disappointed by the experience. Wouldn't want to go there or recommend it to others.

We walked in with a party of ten and they did a great job getting us into two five-top tables pretty quickly. The food was good, and servers knowledgeable and friendly. The service was a bit slow, and they were slammed that night. A couple of my table-mates did get food prepared to their specifications, however it's on us for not having told staff so that they could make it right. The filet was delicious.

Steak was cooked perfect. Potatoes served fairly cold and plain. Key lime pie, we will never try again. This place would have been 3.5 stars if the price was cut in half. For the price, stay home.

They were having problems with the sewage system. Entire place smelled, staff never addressed the issue. I understand that when the air gets dry often times the caps to the drains dry out and you get vapors that seep up. When your paying what you pay at Sullivan's, it's got to be on point. Steak temps for our table were a bit all over the place as well. Overall I was underwhelmed.

Just went to Sullivan's for the first time and REALLY enjoyed it! I had the ribeye (medium rare of course) and they nailed it perfectly. It was cooked to perfection and it was a great cut if meat. Oysters on the half for an appetizer were very fresh. French onion soup was a little bland for my liking but no biggie. I would return for sure despite everything being a little over priced.

This was our first time visiting Sullivan's. We were going for my husband's birthday dinner. First I must say from the moment we got to the door and ended or dinner we experience some of the most pleasant staff and managers walk pass our table. They either stopped to speak, say happy birthday or ask us how the food was. I felt so welcomed in this restaurant. Now the food... My goodness, I had the filet migon and it was the best that I've had thus far! It was cooked perfectly and just melted into my mouth... The cheesecake was to die for. It was a perfect way to end the night.

I was hesitant of this place; I'm usually disappointed by "high end" steak houses. This one did not disappoint. I had a dry-aged steak (I don't recall the cut) which was priced at about $50. It was in the top 3 best steaks I've had. Wonderful taste, tenderness and cook to perfection. The staff was very informed on the food and drink menu. They prepared our drinks perfectly and asked our liquor preferences. Not a place I would go to a lot only because I couldn't afford it! Worth a special trip though!

Nice ambience. They started their new lunch menu. It was great. I had the cheesesteak egg rolls. They were nice, had a more spring rolls look and feel. Then I had the business lunch with shrimp n lobster bisque a must have I suggest, then Delmonico steak cooked to perfection as requested. Must order the standard steak sauce with it. The service was excellent. Will definitely visit for dinner next time.

Cold potatoes that blew my mind and do not let me get started on the undercooked steak that I do not enjoy any red meat but when they tried to cook it all I've got back was a chard black steak... They charged me over 30 plus dollars for this meal

Stuck in a massive thunderstorm outside of Sullivan's steakhouse in downtown walking to my bus stop. the entire staff has walked passed me and nobody has offered to let me inside while I'm being rained on. SMH.

Good food but horrible accounting. We had an emergency that we had to leave early and it took them an hour and a half to get our bills paid. Excuse was "it's a new system". if that was the case you would expect an expensive establishment like that to provide training to employees prior to leaving software. The bills were also double charged and service to get it resolved was nearly impossible to reach a manager. Wouldn't recommend unless you want to pay double for meals!

Very nice restaurant. We're visiting from MN and didn't think of packing any nice clothes, so we walked in with myself in a t-shirt and others in sweatshirts and the likes. They were very courteous and didn't care what we were wearing. Unlike some other restaurants I've been to. Overall good food, fabulous hosts, and a good choice to go to.

This place is horrible. Ate here for wedding anniversary and had the worst steak of my life, it was over cooked and was extreamly salty. The sides cost extra and were not good. I would not consider this fine dinning, I have had better tasting food at Texas Road House and service. This place is over priced and I will never go back and do not recommend this place.

Just went to Sullivan's for the first time and REALLY enjoyed it! I had the ribeye (medium rare of course) and they nailed it perfectly. It was cooked to perfection and it was a great cut if meat. Oysters on the half for an appetizer were very fresh. French onion soup was a little bland for my liking but no biggie. I would return for sure despite everything being a little over priced.

Steaks were fantastic. I had the strip and my wife had the ribeye. Both were great, though next time I'll probably do the ribeye as well, it was delicious. Service was top notch.

Scallops were full of sand and bland. Calamari was over sauced and tough. Workers were detatched and didn't care. Our server was very good though....very helpful.

Was disappointed in the food and service. Kind of a bummer because I had heard such great things about it and was really looking forward to it. Our steaks were way overcooked which struck me as odd as the steaks are primarily what they're known for.

Steaks and seafood are great! Bring back the regular creme brulee though! Wine list is also extensive! Sophisticated atmosphere. Perfect for date night or a business event!
