Wanted to take my husband and daughter for a nicer meal. I called ahead to make sure they were kid friendly and they assured me they were, took my reservation and answered all my questions. The service was wonderful and not rushed. Gouda Spinach dip was perfect... it wasn't oily or boiling hot like so many cheese dips. My daughter devoured the bread and the potato chips were all mine! The rest of the food was delicious. The duck was just a tad overcooked and under crispy for my taste. Charcuterie was just enough for me without feeling stuffed, and the kids grilled cheese was the best 'simple' grilled cheese I've ever tasted. I was disappointed the side fruit for the kid's meal was syrupy, but my daughter wasn't. Overall this hit the nail on the head for a 'fancy' dinner that was still accommodating to my family. Their food is nuanced and soundly developed to make any of their dishes worth a try.

They have a wide variety of options. We had a vegan , a gluten free, and someone with a lactose allergie and the whole party was able to get something they enjoyed. The staff are accommodating to dietary restrictions.

Sadly I was extremely disappointed with our service and the quality of the food when we were there for lunch on October 6. Not only did every single one of our plates come out wrong (One plate had the wrong bread, another plate's grilled cheese wasn't even melted and half of the ingredients on my plate were switched around with my other friend's plate. . . like, how does that even happen?! Oh, and the Medium Rare burger I ordered was pretty much well-done) Everything at our table had to be sent back. Our waiter wasn't even available to us during this time and another server had to help us. There was never an apology for the wait or the mix-ups. I mean, in an instance like this, I would expect at the very least an apology, if not some sort of offer of SOMETHING for our trouble and wait... but, nope. . . our mostly absent waiter just handed us our checks and said have a nice day. . . even WORSE than this, I was under the impression that this restaurant was aware of gluten free options and how to prevent cross contamination, and even though I was very clear I needed my entire meal gluten free, I somehow got one of the worse gluten exposures I've had in a long time. Normally I have a lot of grace for restaurants that source local food, but in this case, I sadly won't be returning to Piedmont Bistro. Maybe if just one thing went wrong, I'd consider it but between the terrible service, all the wrong food and the gluten exposure, I'm just not willing to give it another chance.

Excellent vegetarian breakfast sandwich and tranquil outdoor seating this morning. Free coffee (even a cup to go as we left) made this a great value. Our waiter was possibly the most professional I've ever had. Can't wait to come back. Also, while grateful for the current vegetarian offerings, here's hoping for further expansion.

You really can not go wrong here. The times I have been they truly appreciate and understand the excellence they present on a daily basis. The steaks are prepared properly to desired temp and some of the finest seasoning and char you can experience. Will be going back for more! They also have great decor!

Tasty food and I love the dog friendly patio, they even have food options for your canine friend. Inside is a very nice environment as well, not many vegan options for breakfast but you have got some really great vegan options for lunch, lots of options can be made vegan if you just ask too. Good customer service.

Honestly I could eat here everyday!! Love this restaurant...wonderful breakfast, lunch and dinner. The eggs benedict, fried brussel sprouts and fried beets are sooooo good. Date night July 3rd, 2019. Our server was polite, enthusiastic, and attentive. We started with the Spinach Gouda Dip which was served with warm garlic bread and homemade bbq potato chips. The dip was hot and delicious with just the right texture - soft and gooey. The bread and chips were nice with the dip. She got a pear martini and I enjoyed a glass of Pinot Grigio. Both very pleasant. For entrees, she went with the seared Scallops and I went for the Duck Confit. Nice presentation on both dishes and we felt the scallops and duck were perfectly prepared. Our only constructive criticism would be that the barley risotto with the scallops and the dirty rice with the duck were too salty. However, the flavors and textures (especially the risotto) were wonderful. I was particularly inspired by the creamy risotto, need to try this at home. Overall, really had a pleasant pre movie meal and drinks. Would like to sit outside next time. Cheers.

Honestly just disappointed in Lincoln Nebraska vegan options in general. There is never any variety. Restaurants need to pay attention to how many customers and money they could be making just by simply putting a but more effort in finding good vegan options other then just "salad and fries." So tired of always having to get a salad, so I chose the veggie burger they had. Has egg in it.

If you want brunch this is the spot! I got an omelette and she got the biscuits and gravy but what really stole the show were the pancakes! We got a 3 stack and that was way too much for both of us to tackle together but oh my God were they the best pancakes I've had in Lincoln. They tease you with 2 tiny cups of syrup to don't be afraid to tell them to keep it coming you'll need it. Great food and busy yet comfortable atmosphere and the service was awesome for as much business as they have. Highly recommended!

Amazing steaks and seafood! It is the kind of place that you come there wanting to look nice, but still ok to wear jeans. The staff is very courteous, even to my kids. As for the food, steak is the way to go. Amazing medium cook..and the seasoni7...wow! The scallops were good, as far as taste and sear, but weren't washed completely, as they still had sandy grit and the risotto was not cooked thoroughly. The desserts...wow! Over all, it is definitely a place to go. We return...and steak is what we will all be having.
