I used to be a regular here until one night at about 2am I saw a cockroach crawl across the bar top right next to me. Haven't been there since. Food was great, just cant deal with gross things like that.

Going to this place has to be one of the worst decisions I ever made. The meals were terrible and the wait was long. Just go to village inn and have yourself an actual decent meal.

Ordered breakfast, 2 eggs over medium, crispy hash browns Got a broken egg, other was over easy, not crispy potatoes. minutes later I got up was done. Went to the register and ask her where my eggs were 15 minutes later WILL NOT EAT THERE AGAIN .

Went for breakfast on Sunday December 23. The host...who was the waiter...who was also the cook immediately told us it would be awhile before he could seat 7 of us. Apparently he was overwhelmed with the two tables of 5 people each that were the only others in the place. We didn't wait. Cool looking place. Been wanting to try it for awhile. Won't be going back

This place is just as it looks upon first glance. Very small little town dinner. The atmosphere was acceptable and the service was as well. Food was pretty good and the waiter made a great suggestion. I liked that there wasnt anyone else there. I just moved to valley, originally from orange county cali and moved to Omaha. Used to crowded and over populated. It was so nice to stare out the window and just be in the moment.

Food was horribly cold. When we first walked in it smelled like cat pee, we waited over 2 hours to get our food after the waiter said 30 minutes. The waitress dropped our straws a million times and tons of people left after they waited as long as we did.

If you could give a negative star rating I would give this place a negative 5 star rating. We got seated right away but three tables that we seated after us got their drink orders in first. Then after we waited for for over 25 minutes for our drinks the waitress was bring out drinks to other tables that ordered after us. After our drink order arrived we had been at our table for over 50 minutes, after I had to get up and ask for our drinks. Then we waited an additional hour for our food. All in all we had to wait almost 2 hours for our food when the restaurant wasn't even half packed. This is by far the worse service I have ever experienced in my life.

It's diner food what can I say. Though you'll probably never see it on Diners Drive-Ins and Dives it was exactly what someone needed at 1 in the morning. What set this trip apart for us is the night Cooke was extremely friendly and accommodating. Did a great job serving his dual roles.

Staff were nice. The place needed a better cleaning. Our table wasn't the greatest. The food took about 20 minutes. The pancakes were cold. My brother got the chilli burger there. It wasn't all that good. My dad tasted it and said it was ok. I had the bacon cheese burger. Nice big burger with lots of toppings. The bacon was the best. The fries were thier own style. I liked the seasoning coating. You can see it in the pictures. The staff get 5, the bacon cheese burger 5, The bacon 5 stars. Chilli burger 2, The clean aspect 3, fries 5, time it took to get the food 1, temp of food 2. My burger and fries were hot but not fresh out the kitchen hot. All together 4 stars.

We walked in around nine on Saturday morning and were the only ones there. That should have been our first clue. The prices were high, and the servings are not what you expect from a diner. The server had to ask us where our food went when he delivered it and we had to ask for refills of coffee. There are at least two other diners in Fremont and both are way better. Our syrup came in little plastic to go cups, and my daughter's had a bug in it.

Good food. Comfortable environment. Wanted. One of their t-shirts but didn't have my size in restaurant, so they went over to the hotel to check their stock and founded one to fit me and brought it to me at the hotel. Awesome!

Classic American diner - with wonderfully kind and patient waitresses. Food is short-order quick and tasty. Tables are clean. Restaurant is bright. Menu has all the standard fare -- American comfort foods and breakfasts. Great coffee, too. Nothing like a nice warm place to eat when it's 20 below outside! Highly recommended

When you stay at the Baymont you get coupons for Penny's Diner. Makes your meals very reasonable and the food is good. We had breakfast, open 24 hours.

Ate here for lunch today...AWFUL. In @ noon, told they would put 2 tables together for the 6 of us but that took 10 minutes, took another 10 minutes to.take order, brought out food one plate at a time(overcooked, greasy) then brought out drinks and silverware. Dirty fork, drinks in plastic cups because they didnt have clean cups...never again.

Totally disorganized! We left hungry and very unhappy. The waitress was extremely unhelpful. Drinks were never checked on, one of us had coffee, 0 refills! My son spilled his drink, no help with the clean up or a replacement drink brought or offered. The person before us waited so long for his food he got it to go after they finally brought it. His ride was leaving. My final straw was when the cook came out (after we had already been waiting for over 30 minutes for our food) and went table to table asking what people had ordered. There is a small window looking into the kitchen and you could watch the poor hygiene practices and texting while cooking. I had already heard that it wasn't a good place to eat. We foolishly tried anyway. Yes, the rumors are true and this place is undeserving of anyone's patronage. GO TO MELS by Sapp Bros. Same style restaurant but great service! Wonderful people and food!!

Food was cold, fries where burnt and cold, bun was like rubber, salad dressing was 2 months outdated and service was terrible. The place was a mess, there were dead bugs all over the window sills and the bathrooms where not clean. Overall was a very bad experience and would not recommend it at all.

The food was great and the atmosphere was fun, but unfortunately the service was very slow. It took a long time for the food to arrive and we had to ask for a refill on our coffee. The waffles and pancakes were cold too. The price was reasonable. If the service was better I would have given it a 4 or 5.

High prices, small portions, the waitress wouldn't wait on us. The cook waited on us and he wasn't very clean. The cook refused to make us something from the kids meal for our daughter at home. $2.99 for 11 tater tots. The tater tots were cooked in old grease. Bugs were flying all over the place also. I will never eat there again.

Called in my order and was told it would be 15 or 20 minutes before it was ready. Went ahead and drove over, waited at the counter and heard her MIROWAVE each item. I ordered the meatloaf. I opened the container to look at what I was getting. I had raw green beans, which I watched her dump out of a plastic bag into my container, a mound of mashed potatoes with brown gravy, think goodness otherwise they wouldn't of had flavor, a roll that had been microwaved so long you couldn't eat it, and a pile of loose meat that was suppose to be meatloaf. Wish I could post a picture. I committed "I expected the meatloaf to be sliced what happened? She said "It's not." Would not eat there again if I was starving and it was the only place to eat. OH and it cost 10.81, soooo not worth it.
