I've been a fan since 1991. Great food and quick service.

Bridgette Sproul

The food was amazing best in Omaha when it comes to Chinese food

Zach Irvin

Aaron Gibbs

Real nice and clean place but the food (general's chicken) had a burnt smell and wasn't very tasty. Didn't want to say anything.

Dana Rice

I've Given it a try twice and both times were disappointed. Service little rude. Food was entirely chicken and snow peas with a tasteless sauce.cashew chicken is suppose to be a semi sweet brown sauce with celery water chestnuts broccoli chicken etc not a tub of food that has no taste to it. Thank goodness for the sweet and sour sauce from the crab Rangoon because it was the only thing that made it better

Fred Roeser

This is the BEST Chinese restaurant in Nebraska.

Kevin nutt

I always make it a point to come here when I'm in town. Best Chinese food in town.

David Bottineau

I had food delivered to my hotel and the food is disgusting I will never ever order from this place warning: the meat tasted weird like its dog or cat or something but its not good at all

Jon Fasse

For a quick lunch, this place is great. Fast and friendly service, with inexpensive prices too. The food way better than anything you would expect for less than $7.

Josh S

Really good service but the food is strange. They served me the most puzzling dish of almond chicken I have ever had. This is supposed to be a predictable entree, but there was nothing normal about it! First of all the chicken was breaded and fried for so long that it was hard chewy and completely inedible. I have never got breaded/fried chicken when I order almond chicken, literally never. It came with water chestnuts and peas and that's it, and not the pea pods, but just frozen green peas. What the hell planet did this chef come from??? Too bad my server was so friendly, he did great, but the people in the kitchen should be ashamed of themselves for serving their insane concoction of regular american chinese dishes. *********************************************************** UPDATE 7/10 IN RESPONSE TO OWNER: I did not have any questions for the server, otherwise I would have asked, and I did not have time to complain and try to get a replacement. You should list the ingredients for the meals on the menu, that would prevent the surprise. It is not my fault there is an element of predictability with a dish called "almond chicken" and that has nothing to do with me having an open mind! I am open to many things, but I am not really interested in placing an order such as "almond chicken, with regular chicken not breaded, add carrots, add onion, add celery, no peas... does that sound like fun thing for the customer/server/cook? For the record, my dish did NOT contain mushrooms. It was breaded fried hard/chewy chicken nuggets with frozen green peas and canned water chestnuts, THAT IS ALL! It is baffling to me that you are trying to use this "unique" approach to a basic meal as a selling point. Seems to me like they are too lazy to cut vegetables! I was going to return and try again, but now I will not, too many other options to choose from; Best of luck.

Their food is good. Friendly staff and clean restaurant

Stopped by on a whim for dinner. Hot & Sour soup was awesome! I had the Princess Shrimp & Chicken and my daughter had the Sesame Chicken, both were huge portions & delicious!

Drew Rash

My wife and I enjoy the flavors of this location. Great at order taking accuracy and confirmation. We come here probably monthly, sometimes weekly and it's very consistent. I love their wonton soup, the taste is just right, hits the spot. My wife likes the beef lo mien, it's the flavor that other places don't quite get.

Jayson Nelson

Took my first visit to Panda House this weekend, which is located in a strip mall, next to a tattoo parlor. Despite the questionable surroundings, I took a chance on some carry out. In the dingy entryway, I was met by two friendly men who were eager to help. I ordered the Kung Pao beef to go. I drove the mile home and was pleasantly surprised that the food looked pretty decent and was hot. As Kung Pao goes, though, this does not rank among the best. The thick sauce did not have much in the way of spice. The dish consisted entirely of beef, sauce, mushrooms and peanuts. There were no bamboo shoots, scallions, or peppers like you get in most restaurants. The beef itself was unremarkable - it really didn't taste like much. I also found myself missing the crunchy egg roll or crab rangoon that most places will throw in on the side. No such extras here. So, it was not a terrible experience, certainly, but one I probably won't be repeating. There are just way too many other better options for Chinese food nearby.

Jessica Atkins

This is my favorite place to get Chinese in Omaha!! It isn't fancy but its quality food, great service for a reasonable price! I've never been disappointed! The food is consistently good!! The Mongolian Beef is wonderful!!

Dori Thorson

The food was delicious as always! Wonderful service, friendly atmosphere. Love Panda House!

food is really good, in fact i eat there quite a bit, the one suggestion i would have for them, stop charging an extra $1 for shrimp, you dont get very many, and for the price, almost $9 you could!!!

Bob Ball

Amanda G

We ordered a few dishes family style. Service was fine, decor was nice, maybe a bit on the pricey side... However, the dish with seafood (I think it was Happy Family) was absolutely rank. The other dishes tasted great, but I could not eat that one because of the aquarium smell. The shrimp they used had clearly gone bad.

Stacey Newton

First time customer, left happy. Service was excellent! Food was amazing! Fast service. I recommend this place.

Nick Williams

Delicious food

Curtis Callaway

Good food. As always Great service. You pay for what you get. And its good

Yvonne Mogolis

We always place a delivery order and had received decent food for the cost and good customer service. This evening was totally different. Whomever took the order keep telling me that I actually wanted Beef lo mein when I ordered #25 beef chow mien with extra crispy noodles. Our order did arrive very quickly. The driver asked me if I wanted my change, got huffy when I did and shorted me the coin change. He got better than a 15% tip, nevertheless. One item, the soup, was totally wrong. The one ordered was #2 Wonton Soup and what arrived was Egg Drop Soup. The food tonight is not nearly as good as it has been. I'm wondering if someone else bought this restaurant. ☹️

Donna Gavin

This place is a family favorite. Its outdated inside, but service and food are always amazing! Price is right as well!

MertziePlays

Went in for take out. Purchased two meals to try two different things. Food was good... Not as salty as a lot of places serve up... And that can go either way depending on your taste. Overall very pleased. Affordable and great portion size. Will be going back.

Molly S

This is my favorite place to go for Chinese food. I'm never disappointed by anything I order! The staff is so nice and welcoming, you should try it out if you get the chance!

In The Deep Quiet Night

First time I ate there and probably will be my last. It was a nice surprise that the chicken wasn't breaded. I liked that. Crab ragoon lacked flavor I'm used to at other Chinese restaurants It was bland. It was more expensive than I would have thought it would be. I should have left after seeing the prices, but didn't want to be rude. The person who took my order was very polite and didn't rush me when I couldn't decide what to order. The portions were nice. Overall, nothing spectacular.

Karen K Phipps

Emily Barnes

Food, price, and service is great.

Carolyn Peterson

This is my son & favorite place for Chinese food. Their Sweet & Sour Chicken is perfect! Best sauce. No other place can get the sauce right, always too much vineger. Their Hot & Sour soup is perfect as well. Can't go wrong here!

Cody Heithold

We ordered food for 3 people, but only received 2 orders upon delivery. We contacted the store again, and they stated we would have to order the missing meal again. This means payment, and a 45 minute wait. The lady on the phone was not accommodating, and kept repeating that she read the order back to my wife. I can understand the miscommunication, and do not mind paying for a missed meal. My issue is the way the lady was speaking to my wife. I offered my food to my wife and son in order to avoid anymore conversation with the individual on the phone.

Derrick Pace

Great food and service. However, I am disappointed that they do not deliver a few blocks away.

Nice old school family restraunt

alexis morgan

Very traditional and delicious Chinese. My new favorite Chinese place.

gregg

Triple delight did not taste good at all. Wife's beef send broccoli was just as bad. Better places to go in town. Did not see much carry out going on compared to other Chinese restaurants in West Omaha. Crab Rangoon was good though.

Lissa Hendricks

I have eaten here many times. Everytime the food is hot, cooked to order and tastes perfect. They are good sports about seasoning to order as well.

Taryn Butler

Aileen Lewis

The place was simple and tidy with a cozy atmosphere. I haven’t been to many Chinese restaurants but the food here was delicious. We had beef and broccoli and sesame chicken. Both were so flavorful. Nice place!

Lo mein was a bit bland. The appetizers of egg rolls and dumplings were pretty good though.

Teri Tosspon

The food is fresh and seems good quality, but a bit flavorless..the decor is outdated, but the staff is really nice.

Anthony Glenn

James Rau

Nothing fancy, but basic good Chinese food at reasonable prices.

Timothy Douglas

So far the best Chinese restaurant in Omaha.

Captain S

Great place for lunch and value friendly.

Rachal Mulherin

Beef and broccoli had a strange orange colored sauce that was tasteless!! Egg roll wrap was not cooked inside and meat and veggies were mushy and tasteless. Egg drop soup was so so, could have used some seasoning, green onion....?? Probably won't go back to this one. First clue should have been that they was nobody there eating and it was 12:15.

Panda House is our favorite Chinese Restaurant for dine in or carry out orders. We have never been disappointed with the food and always receive great service.

Chris Hardinger

Jim McWilliams

I love Chinese food and Kung Pao Chicken is one of my favorites. I look forward to spicy flavor, the hot hot dried chilis, mushrooms, crunchy onions, crispy bell pepper, peanuts and breaded chicken. Ordered in great anticipation and received a disappointment. No dried chilis, no bell pepper, no flavor. The chicken was tough and overcooked as well.

Kayleigh Marie

Called at 919 pm the delivery Driver had taken his last call and so the male who answered the phone was nice enough to bring our food to us personally so that we could have Chinese fooled for dinner. Amazing customer service. Top notch. No thank you Chinese places.

Cindy Nisley

Good food, pleasant atmosphere. Like the moo goo gai pan and the egg roll was very good. They do a lot of carry out!

Stephanie Harms

Best Chinese in Omaha! The people working there are so nice and my food is always amazing. It also has a pleasant atmosphere as opposed to some other Chinese places I've been.

vaibhavi ms

Very good vegetarian options. Really tasty but mildly spicy. And very less expensive compared to other places.

Peter Haze Haring

Nice customer service, tasty food and a good overall dinning experience. Dragon soup was really good. I will go back again.

Hilaire Wiebelhaus

5 stars just for the customer service

Jan McKenzie

Can never go wrong here. Classic Chinese dishes. Fast service.

bobby woods

This is the worst place I have ever eaten. And if I didn’t require at least 1 star i would rate it a flat zero. I can’t believe people eat here I had pork fried rice a large and 4 egg rolls the egg rolls were okay but the rice was discussing and when I asked him to replace he said they were closed. So I kept the food because I wouldn’t feed it to anyone. The owner was very disrespectful and wanted me to take a cab to his restaurant to get replacement and bring him the food back and I paid for a delivery the day before . He argued on the phone with me telling me he had no one to deliver it so i would have to come there to replace it after argument he said there was a driver that could bring it but I had to pay for delivery charge. And I finally agreed but guess what the food was just as bad as the night before it went to the garbage so if you come To Omaha this is not place you want to eat ever. I’ve never been more disrespectful to his customer is cost me 20 dollars plus delivery fee. I’m not from here I live in Oregon was here on business and stayed at very nice hotel and I could have went anywhere it wasn’t money.

Lance Premus

Good place and one we go to often when in the mood for Chinese food. However last time food was flat in flavor which is unusual. Spicy dishes are very mild. Very traditional Chinese

James Wax

Excellent service and food

Rebecca Tschetter

Egg drop soup is neon yellow. That should tell you something.

Ayla King

Well I got lo mein and fried rice or so I thought. There literally was no flavor to the lo mein at all and the so called fried rice was regular white rice. It was gross and I'm never going back. They couldn't even give me soy sauce to cover up the bland taste I had to throw my lunch away and that was a huge waste of 10 bucks.

Land Land

we got 3 meals and soup,,, the whole family got sick, beside the food had no flavor!!! I don't recommend

Anon Ymous

We discovered Panda House a few months ago, and now we go about once a week. We love it. Great food, great people, and quick service! Best Chinese I've had in a long time.

Eric Miller

The decor is a little dated but the food and the people more than make up for it. Best Chinese in town.

Jay Branchaud

I've been enjoying lunch here for over 20 years! Consistent high quality. I particularly like the Hunan Chicken and Hot and Sour soup!!

Subby Aunesse

Poor quality food..do nit dine here.man at the front counter was nice

Matt Martin

Food was pretty good. Prices are little high. Portions weren't bad. Not the best, not the worst.

Rose Popken

I visited today. It's always nice people and they always take care of us it's my kids reg Chinese place to go

Tee Lea

Chicken overcooked....hot n sour soup tasted like chicken fat and was about the same consistency....service was no help....menu did not describe what was in the dish or display all that is available.

Abbi Saiya

I come to this area for work a few times a year. First time I went there the food and the service was great. Yesterday I went in for a second time and whi I think was the owner was kind of rude and I had to throw the food away because the fried rice smelled spoiled, the crab Rangoon were sour and the shrimp in lobster sauce smelled bad. Unfortunately I realized all that after I got back to the hotel and it was snowing bad. Trashed it all! Never again.

Janice Steinacher

Becky Pinto

Very delicious

Iove this place always the best

Ashley Wyman

If I could do no stars, I would. Called and ordered lunch, realized I forgot my wallet at home and asked if they could manually type in my credit card information. (We have the same system at my work, and it’s possible for them to do) and was told never to order there again because he “had to throw away food” Accidents happen and as a business owner you should understand. I was more than willing to pay for my food, and refused to even be the slightest bit understanding. I’ve always ignored how rude they were in the 2 years I’ve been ordering from there, but now I’m happy to not support a business with such a rude and inconsiderate owner.

Brian Andrews

Been around forever, out dated inside and the food is okay.

Deandre Fuentes

When you order 20.00 plus dollars of food here, you would expect to receive an adequate amount of sauce . They don't care about there customers here . They just take your money and dgaf!!!!

Andrew Kanngieser

If you are looking for great Chinese food Panda House is the best! Service is always amazing and staff is friendly. I've been going there for years and have never had a bad meal!

Angela Beck

AMAZING food. Terrific service.

DG3 Acct

This place stated they deliver online. I spent 45 minutes getting an order together for everyone and attempting to order online. The website gave me trouble and therefore forced me to call. Although it specifically stated it would deliver online, the man on the phone gave me the worst attitude and stated he would not deliver after all my hard work had been done. He said online had the wrong information and simply refused my order and I only live a few blocks away. Without a vehicle, in the winter, they refused to make an exception. And with complete attitude and entitlement, at that. As an avid online consumer of a new generation, one where we rely on social media and the ease of online purchasing, I feel the customer is right in this situation and should have been granted a delivery this time, while they update their systems on their end. Time wasted, horrible service over the phone, and a sour taste left in my mouth. This just happened and I promise to never eat here. By the way... The order was for 12 indivuals and the amount was well over $300. This was all due to a last minute party which again, left me to start from square one after a 45 minute attempt online.

Ryan Roeser

Try the pork ala Mandarin or peanut butter chicken. Yumm

Mike B

My family and I have been going to panda House for nearly 20 years. There’s a good reason why and it’s because the food is always excellent and the service is just as good. My favorite dish is Princess shrimp and chicken. The crab Rangoon and eggrolls are great. Anytime my kids are back in town they always want to go to panda House. We have used panda house for catering large groups and the food is always just as good as eating in the restaurant and packaged well. I would highly recommend panda House to anyone who likes Chinese food!

laurie olsen

Been going for over 10 years and will always be the best.

Daniel Lawlor

I eat here quite often and the quality is usually the same every time. I usually order golden crispy chicken and only once was it soggy. The employees that work dinner are always nice and attentive. The portions are fairly large and I often have to take food home I've tried dozens of other Chinese in Omaha but this is still my favorite.

Mike Watt

Beef & Snow Peas w/ white rice was awesome. Peas were cooked to perfection.

Julie Muller

I ordered tangerine chicken. I got breaded chicken pieces in a sweet brown sauce with quarter-size slices of orange or tangerine rind and dried chilies in the sauce. The brown sauce was ok, but you only got the orange flavor if you bit into one of the slices of orange rind (which was unpleasantly tough and chewy with that slight bitter taste you get from the rind). I was glad I saw the chilies before biting one of them. It would have been a very unpleasant experience. Even though they were present in the sauce I didn’t get any indication of a spicy flavor. I am not a big fan of breaded chicken pieces in a saucy dish. I try to eat healthy and cut back on the unnecessary starch. I think the dish may have benefited more from fresh orange zest instead of slices of rind they offer more surface area and better distribution of flavor. You also don’t get that bitter note that a chunk of rind gives. I think the dried chilies are a suitable source to add some spice, but they should have been placed in the sauce a little earlier in the cooking process so more flavor could be imparted in the sauce. I also think they should have strained out. Fresh chilies are not bad to eat in a dish but dry chewy ones are not pleasant. The breaded chicken pieces, I guess, are a matter of taste. A lot of places do mention that on the menu. The breaded chicken in my dish was a bit on the chewy side. It would have been more pleasant if it had been tender and juicy. I just prefer non breaded chicken in that type of dish. Over all, fresh components seem to make a tastier dish, to me. Once again...it’s a matter of taste. I must say that all the chicken dishes our table ordered seemed to have the breaded chicken pieces in them. Once again, if that is your preference, then you will love the dish, if not it is a bit disappointing. Since I prefer non-breaded chicken I would probably not return for a chicken dish. Response to the reply....if I am not supposed to eat the chunks of citrus rind in the dish, why are you leaving them in the food you serve the guest? You should not leave inedible components in the food you are serving. I should not have to worry about avoiding inedible things in my meal. It would nice to mention in your menu that the dishes are totally customizable. It is not something I would assume you could do. I kind of expect most restaurant stir fry type dishes to be made with fresh ingredients and not breaded meat components. I have seen that a lot in fast food type venues. I guess that is why I don’t eat at the fast food venues. I guess there is just to much work to extensively question the the server and manipulate my order to get the meal I want. I’d rather just stick to places that make it in the manner I expect. I just don’t feel like working that hard for my meal. I do wish you would fish out the chunks of orange rinds and dried chilies and any other inedible pieces before serving. I know your patrons would greatly appreciate that. Hey, please try using orange zest it is such a great alternative to rinds. I truly love the zing that citrus gives a dish. It is my favorite flavor enhancer!

Jordan Swim

Seseame chicken was pretty good.

Shannon J

Nice portion sizes. So good. One free refill on soda.

Chris Ivener

We’ve been going here for years. Best Chinese food in town. Always great service and good food!

Charlie Mike

I've gone to panda house since I was a kid. They have always kept a few things true. Good food, good prices, and good service. I've never seen the inside crazy busy which is nice because I always get to enjoy the conversation I'm having with my table. I've enjoyed going now and again for years, and I'm sure I will keep going for years.

Detroit Pistons

Been going here for my whole life and I love everything that I have ever had. This is the best Chinese food in Omaha by far

Ingrid Weland

Yummy Chinese food that we usually buy to go. The servings are generous, but the price is a bit on the high side as we are a large family. We eat here often and never been disappointed by the quality of the food.

Tish Landolt Berg

Food was great.

Joseph Castillo

Absolutely disappointed in this place. I ordered #31 and #11. The crab Rangoon was chewy and soggy. I was only able to eat a quarter of ONE. The fried rice looked and tasted like brown rice. Beef lo mien is edible. I have had better from a can in the grocery store. I will making sure all my co workers, friends, and family know how bad this place is. Also paying $23 for this garbage is ridiculous. Going to have to order from another place because I cannot eat this.

Diane Power

Great selection, reasonably priced and wonderful service.

Jacob Schroeder

Nigel Langford

I called to make an order. The male taking my order was extremely rude and loud. He asked for my number 3 times in one second. He needs to attend a seminar on customer relations.

Layton Nelson

My crab rangoons we're crispy and tasted awesome. Also, the garlic chicken was very good.

Samantha Phillips

My friends and I ordered from here and when we got our food it was cold and spilled all over our bag. The sweet and sour chicken was soggy and disgusting. The rice was flavorless and mushy. The beef and broccoli was the only thing that was semi-decent. Not worth the $40.

Cathy Gilbertson

Panda House is always delicious. I had take out and my order was made in a great timely manner.

Joseph Essenhofer

worst food ever. cold and the flavor profile was so off it's not funny.

Hailee Miller

Crab rangoons were cold and tasted artificial. I ordered chicken fried rice and the chicken was cold. My mother ordered Tangerine Chicken and the meat was hard and cold. Egg rolls were cold and soggy... Everything was just awful. The only thing I liked was the water... Also for a total of $31 that was not worth it. Smh. Do not eat here. Wish I could rate it a 0.

Michael Britton

Great place. My family eats there often.

G. Man

"Prawns" were at best medium shrimp overly battered and fried. False advertising at its best. The food itself was pretty good and guy who took my order was nice. Had it not been for the "prawn" and pricy food I would've given 5 stars.

Matthew Jordan

Really delicious!

melinda hansen

This place is amazing and the service is awesome!!!

Dane Scott

Best Chinese in West Omaha, hands down. I've never gotten carry-out, but the sit-down experience is extremely satisfying. Peanut butter chicken, lemon chicken, sesame chicken, all the best I've ever had.

Wendy Goodwin

I've been picking up from this place for years because it’s literally 2 minutes from our home and the food is good. Today, I decided to order delivery since both my husband and I are tired after a long day of work and our 3 month old baby’s shenanigans. I call and give my address, then the guy asks if it’s an apartment or house. House I reply, and then he replies they don’t deliver there. We are literally in the neighborhood across the street and he can’t deliver??! Terrible customer service and no consideration; they’ve lost a loyal customers business.

Thomas Woolridge

Good prices, good food. More of a neighborhood restaurant. First time here.

Erik romero

Great food

Plain rice is raw

Andrew Lawlor

Always have good service here. Been eating there for years. My son's favorite is #57 (golden crispy chicken). I've tried sampling a number of dishes. Never had a bad meal there.

J.A. McCoy

Best part of the meal is the fortune cookie. The wonton soup is mostly pasta with a blip of pork filling and if u like bland fried rice, you won't be disappointed. The lo mein is also lack luster. Wanted to try it and that's that. Not coming back ever.

Tim Childerston

Good food, good price, great place for lunch! If you have a question about the food, they are very helpful.
