Tried the tap house for the 1st time with my wife. We were blown away with the food quality and the excellent service. Alot of different craft beers to choose from. We got the cheese curds and WOW they were great. Their craft burgers are excellent and full of flavor. We will be back again for sure.

This place makes one of the best burgers I've ever had in my life. The steakhouse burger (with beer braised onions added for only .99) is absolutely fantastic and I reccomend it to everyone when the topic of 'good burgers' comes up. Excellent selection of local craft beers as well as occasional tap house exclusive beers. All around a great place. Good burgers, good beer, and good prices. What else could you ask for?

Been to Tap House multiple times in the past and easily this was the slowest and worst service that we've had. Our Server took our drink and our food order at the same time, but it was at least 30 minutes before the first Beers started coming out, and then 1 of our party of 5 who ordered a Flight had to wait an extra 15 minutes to get that, and then 10 minutes later the food arrived, leaving the person with the Flight little time to try new Beers before they started eating. The Server was covering both sides of the Bar and was paying way more attention to the other side than ours. Even to the point people who arrived 20 minutes after us were seated and got their Drinks. I'm going to chalk this one up to just bad luck as we love the place. But no member of Management asked us about our visit, and while the Server apologized multiple times the service speed only improved a little bit.

Amazing tap selection that changes frequently, and excellent bar food. Great friendly staff will help find the perfect beer for you! Beer is a little expensive, but there is usually a happy hour or discount day of some kind going on. Always a little busy, but you can usually find a table or spot at the bar without too much trouble.

We've had it via uber eats twice, and today during the Nebraska game in restaurant. Really good burgers and fries are really good and fresh. The atmosphere is cozy and has lots of booth seating and some high top tables. It just has a warm, relaxed feeling inside, my wife and I like it. Lots of choices for beer which is a plus for beer drinkers and plenty of tv's for sports. You will not be disappointed here.

This place is amazing. The service staff are phenomenal, they have a GREAT selection of beers on tap that they rotate regularly, and their food is great too! Prices are reasonable and if you are struggling what to pair your awesome burger with, they will bring out a couple of samples so you won't be disappointed. I could visit this place every day and still love it!

My American Dream

Omaha Taphouse is not your average "eat out" location. When I walked through the doors for the first time 4 years ago, I could tell something was special about this place. What I didnt know was that my one time experience would turn into a place I could call home. The staff has outdone themselves with service. The food was never once anything but terrific. Omaha would be a much darker place without it, and my wife and I would be alot less whole. As we move on to a new chapter in our lives, we are leaving behind a family. Thank you to all who pour your heart out to make this place amazing!

This place was awesome! We ended up here by accident and will definitely be returning. Our party of six all ordered burgers, and all of them were amazing! The burger with peanut butter on it was an exciting surprise, the berry hangover is a little sweet for dinner but delicious. I ordered the mac and cheese burger and ended up eating macaroni and cheese with my fingers and didn't even care lol. You can get your french fries seasoned, and if you like spice I would go with the jalapeno. The Cajun ones are good but not really spicy. Great place!

Great feel and vibe and food was awesome. We had the garlic parmesan wings and the Taphouse signature burger, both were cooked to perfection. The staff was friendly and very attentive. Brian the manager took time out of his very busy night to stop by and chat with us about this wonderful restaurant. Definitely recommend, can't wait to go back!

Fantastic burgers and fries. Easily tied for best burger in town with Dinker's (and Smitty's is up there too, but maybe a close second). A day ago I would've recommended the cajun fries, as they're delicious. HOWEVER. I recently learned you can request salt & vinegar fries, even though they're not on the menu. They're the only fries I've ever not dipped in ketchup because I want to taste just the fries.

Cool vibe whether you are into craft scene or not. Unique burger offerings served in a uniquely interesting way. You’ll be pleased with the quality of the burgers, fries and wings. Where they struggle is with table service. I’ve been to the Tap House on several occasions and it’s been the same on each occasion.

This was my first visit and I lived it. The server was great. She was polite and friendly. The best part was the burger. I ordered the hangover burger and it was incredible. The cajun fries were also tasty. I'm happy I finally tried Omaha Tap House. I'll definitely be back and recommend it to people.

Chicken wings and burgers are both excellent. Prices are not cheap but definitely not outrageous. It's a locally-owned establishment so it's worth it

Not sure how to rate this. More of a 3.5. They were extremely busy on a Saturday night when we went in. Waited about 25 minutes to be seated. Host was good, friendly but busy. Our waiter did a good job, but it took me a long time just to get a sample of s beer I was interested in. I was already a third of the way through my meal, and then it was the wrong one when I finally got it. I just begged for a Michelob light just to have something. Food was good. I ordered there Mac N Cheese burger with onion rings. Downsides were it was messy and all the mac n cheese underneath the burger made it soggy and hard to pick up. Another downside is all burgers seem to be well cooked, which is not really my preference, but flavor was good and the onion rings were excellent. Didn't stay long as it seemed they were ready for us to eat and leave. A so-so experience for me.

Beyond the great beer selection and solid food, their team was incredibly accommodating to our son who has a severe egg/peanut allergy. It’s challenging going to local restaurants because of the allergies. We’ve never had a restaurant go out of their way like OTH did to make sure our son’s food was safe. It made our night! If you have a child with food allergies, you understand! Keep being awesome OTH!

A great spot in northwest Omaha. Sizable beer selection and many intriguing signature drinks. Our burgers were delicious and the perfect size. Fries and onion rings were great, as was our pretzel bite appetizer. We arrived during prime Friday night dining hours and had a booth immediately. The wait staff was attentive and friendly. Overall a great experience and we will definitely return in the future!

Good time at the Omaha tap House. If there's a problem with your order they are good at fixing it. We had some slight issues but they resolved them. The cheese curds are my favorite. Protip: I like that they will give you samples of the beer so you can order one you like even if it's new without wasting a full cup. The samples also come in the cutest of cups. Also go during happy hour. That's when the prices make it a no brainer to go. Parking is ample in the free parking lot.

My wife brought me some wings from here and the pretzels with cheese. The wings were supposed to be house made buffalo, but they were so dry and overcook I couldn't even tell there was sauce. The pretzels were decent, with good cheese, but the wings were so bad I had to still give 1 star. They tasted like unseasoned grilled wings, very bland and not appetizing. Very disappointing.

I placed a to-go order for the brown sugar burger with ranch fries, Wisconsin cheese curds, and a signature burger (with the tap house sauce on the side since wasn't sure what it tasted like). The staff was very upbeat and friendly and my order was ready faster than originally projected! I would've taken photos buuuut somehow the food disappeared before I could do so. Unfortunately I didn't have the time to have a drink but the options are endless! Highly recommend and will definitely be back to sample some of those tempting adult beverages!

The happy hour deals are pretty good and have items that can b shared. The staff was friendly and attentive. They have a good out of the way location, not easy to see from the street, but the restaurant is big and not too busy. Will definitely go back.

Came here to grab a bite for my boyfriend's 30th birthday. He wasn't super excited about turning 30 so I didn't tell the waiter but the service was EXCELLENT and the food was SUPERB. I had the Sourdough and my boyfriend had the Curd burger. Everything was cooked perfect and melted in your mouth. The ranch fries are delicious and I had the onion rings which are huge, thick and have a better that almost tastes like funnel cake. Will return!!!

As far as burger joints in West O go, this one is great! I usually go here for lunch and it's pretty relaxed. They have a wide selection of burgers so I'm sure anyone could find something they like. While the focus here is burgers, their mango-habenero wings really stand out! Everything is uniquely served/plated. It's worth checking out.
