We are always unbelievably impressed when we go to mahogany. I have to say it is absolutely a one of a kind experience to be waited by such amazing staff that really are there just to provide awesome service and amazing one of a kind food! It really is the best food I've ever had and when we thought something was a little to salty for our taste not only did they refund us they also provided us with any substitute any price for free! Me and my significant other went for our first anniversary and when we returned 4 years later they even sat us at the same table and we had the same server! She even remembered our faces and names! She also was so kind to send a had written card expressing how thankful she was to have us again! Our five year anniversary is coming up so we decided to go a few months early because we couldn't wait any longer! So as we are enjoying our bread and drinks the manager comes over and personally thanks us for spending our special moments with them and provided us this amazing gift that were four specialized chocolate candies! We left actually feeling so happy to be able to support a business who really cares about their customers. If I could rate them they would be much better than 5 stars!!

Everything was addressed as needed to be, with a new policy now being implemented for food allergies. I am grateful for this dedication to the safety of customers at this establishment, their excellent customer service, their ability to own and fix up, and their excellent food. My father-in-law is a cattle farmer, so I have had my fair share of excellent beef. The Ribeye and Filet here are tremendous, better than anything I have had before. This place is a little out of our price range, but going once every couple years might have to be our thing. Also, they paid for our desserts since we went on my birthday.

We are foodies and we think the following are MUST haves when you visit - we love prime steaks and their steaks are the best! Filet is amazing! Lobster cargot amazing! Crab and Lobster bisque- amazing! I am not a lobster bisque fan but when I tasted by daughters i had to order some...base is creamy and much tastier than traditional bisque base - drinks were good- off menu dessert was Creme Brulee Cheesecake and it was a hit! We eat steaks all over the US and this place ranks in our top 3 but definitely number 1 in Omaha!

For a city known for steaks, the locals will tell you this is hands down the place to be for an Omaha Steak. I ordered the 14 ounce ribeye with mushrooms and Brussel sprouts as sides. Let me just say, believe the hype. The steak comes out on a hot plate and was perfectly marinated and perfectly cooked. They ask you to cut into the steak to see if its cooked the way you like. The sides were good as well and the service is excellent. The place is very upscale and has a bar with sitting area. I have tried other places for steaks as well such as The Drover and Spencers. The Drover has the best value while I would rank this place a tad above Spencers which makes this my favorite Steakhouse in Omaha.

I cannot say enough about this place. The quality of absolutely everything was superb, from the atmosphere to the service to the food. The waitstaff was the best I have ever seen, being so quick to clear the table and refill our glasses even if it wasn't "their" table to wait on. The Mahogany Prime Steakhouse was 5 star from start to finish. I booked the Captains room for a client dinner. Securing the room was a breeze & the follow up prior to dinner the day of was a nice, professional touch. Our waitress was knowledgeable, kept the food service in a nice rhythm, but most importantly she had a fun personality. The meal, appetizers were served in perfect portions for the table to share. My personal favorite, Lobster Cargot served with a warm delicious delicious bread to dip in the remaining sauce. The family style side dishes weren’t limited, a very nice selection. The Au Gratin Potato’s and Brussel sprouts are noteworthy for sure. Several guests tried the Wagyu steak & raves about the flavor & melt in your mouth deliciousness. I was very pleased with the lightly seasoned, perfectly cooked to my liking Ribeye. And I couldn’t help but indulge in the featured dessert of the evening, Creme’ Brûlée Cheesecake with fresh fruit. I’m not sorry, not at all! The ambiance is upscale & felt very casual & relaxing as well. With a fabulous wine list & all the other delights I’ve shared about their food & service, I hope you have a chance to enjoy a meal here as I did!

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EXPERIENCED IN YEARS! My wife and I arrived ten minutes early on Valentine's Day for a reservation I made two weeks ago. We were excited to try Mahogany for the first time. We were seated right away at a table in the lounge nearest the front door. I asked to be seated at another table and the hostess told me she need to speak to a manager. There were five hostesses, but they needed to speak with a manager to find us another seat. OK, it is busy...No problem. The manager comes over two minutes later, without introducing himself, and said, "In the notes for the reservation, you were informed that you would be seated in the lounge." I told him that I was not informed of that (honestly, I was never informed of that when I made the reservation or any time after). I also pointed out a table in the main dining area that was not taken and asked if we could sit there. He told me that the table was reserved for someone at 7 (we were there at 6). We could either sit where we were or be finished by 7 at the other table. Ah, I got it. So that table was reserved for more important people than my wife and me. By the way, no sorry and no apology from the manager or anyone. What a strange thing to be told, "You can sit there, but you need to be done by 7." I've never been told such a thing in my life at any restaurant. I looked at my wife to check if we were still on planet earth and she asked if I would just like to go. Since it was Valentine's Day, I figured every other place was booked, so let's just let it go and enjoy the evening. After about 5 minutes of my back getting cold everytime the door opened and then seeing another couple sit down at the table I just pointed out to the manager (the table that was reserved for an hour after we arrived), we got up and left. No one even cared that we left. Even today, no one from management reached out via my cell phone, which they have from the reservation, to ask why we left. One business manager on another site wrote, “That’s definitely not what we want to hear. I will send this information to management.” No apology, just an assurance that our mistreatment would be sent to the manager who mistreated us.

Reserved a table for 2 and ended up in a large family booth. Nice atmosphere, was a bit dark inside, hostess was amazing! Everything tasted great! We ordered the tenderloin on toast points, 8oz filet mignon, macaroni, and steak fries (nothing special about their fries). Drank a martini and another drink that's pink. Cant remember the name was but it was fruity. Would definitely go back for their macaroni!!!

For great steaks in Omaha and unbelievable sides, Mahogany is the place. Very pricey, so be sure to know what you're getting into before you go there. Ordered two glasses of wine and a Manhattan and it was $90 with tax and tip. All sides are family style. My two go to favorites are the brussel sprouts and mac and cheese. Sprouts are like nothing I've ever tasted and wish I could even poorly duplicate... pure heaven! Mac and cheese is thick any creamy.

Try happy hour for some affordable samplings. Approximately $100 pp for dinner with drinks. You can spend less, but I don't suggest it.

Great experience! We went for our anniversary and when I made reservations on the phone I asked for a special table and she chose a great spot for us. Walked in and girls greeted us with smiles, we told them our name and someone came up and brought us back right away. She told us 2 names who would be serving us. Robert our waiter was at our table within 30 seconds and was eager to tell us about the restaurant and menu because it was our first time there. We ordered drinks and they came quickly. Then Ashley our second waitress came to introduced herself and asked if we wanted appetizers. We declined. 5 minutes go by and Robert is back asking if we have any questions about the menu and if we want to order yet and we wanted to take our time so he left. Ashley came back and took our order. Our food came within 15 minutes. I had the small cut sirloin medium plus he had the salmon. Both delicious. Side dishes are shared...we got asparagus and button mushrooms. Perfectly tasty. One more drink during dinner and carrot cake for dessert.... Heavenly. Jack and Coke tall doubles we're perfect. The atmosphere is comfortably loud with energetic conversations. They have a wine room with one or two tables that you can request but Robert told us you need to request it a year in advance. Tab without tip $150. I would highly recommend this place for a special occasion or to impress out-of-towners!

Exceptional dining that's sophisticated yet casual. Service was phenomenal! They made us feel like special guests for our anniversary, as they congratulated us and even left a signed card with a box of chocolates. Atmosphere was a mix of hustle and bustle yet you are cozy in a nice dim lit booth, with some jazzy big band music lightly filling the background. We can't wait for our next anniversary to return, so will be back before that. Make sure you add bacon-wrapped scallops, they were unforgettable!

Even the manager Jeff (I think) was nice down to earth, super friendly. Something as basic as The water was fantastic! Taste just like Voss water. The food was out of this world excellent! The meat was tender cook to perfection! Juicy and seasoned just right! Nothing overpowering and in generous portions! I've been to a lot of steakhouses in the metro including some quite expensive ones downtown but nothing compares to Mahogany. (And no I don't get pay for a review like this LoL it was just that good). But seriously if you have a friend visiting or an important business guess, and want to show them the best Omaha has to offer as far as steak, this is the place to go.

The food was AMAZING. What you would expect for a more expensive steakhouse. Both of our steaks were cooked perfectly and had great flavor. We were told to get the brussel sprouts and whipped potatoes as sides and neither disappointed. Beyond the food, the service was exceptional. We had two servers who both spent a lot of time at our table making sure we had a great time and making great recommendations throughout the meal. We even got a complimentary dessert since we were celebrating something and it was incredible--Creme brûlée cheesecake. We would absolutely go back.

I was looking for a special place, to celebrate our 32nd wedding anniversary. I took a chance on ‘Mahogany Prime Steakhouse’ in Omaha Nebraska. This was our first visit to this Prime Steakhouse and I have to say, the experience was nothing less than top shelf service, from beginning to end. Everyone from the young ladies that checked us in at the door, to our waiter ‘ Eric’, to the Managers on staff tonight, went out of their way to make our experience a special one. The food was cooked to perfection and flavorful. In a time where quality service seems to be lacking, in so many places, Mahogany proved to be a cut above the rest. I would like to thank everyone involved that allowed us to experience quality service at its best. We will DEFINITELY be coming back again. John and I celebrated our Anniversary at Mahogany Prime Steakhouse. The ambience is perfect for a plush evening of celebration. I had lobster and it was perfection personified. John had a steak that melted in his mouth. The side dishes are meant for two people to share. We chose just one, since we had a wonderful salad to begin or celebratory evening. Most importantly, the wait staff and management all congratulated us about our wedding anniversary. Such a personal touch!

It isn't cheap and you should pick your days carefully but when it is right it is some of the best steak to be found anywhere. I have had a bit of a mixed experience over the years with the establishment but the service especially these days is top notch they have a team system that is a pleasure to watch and the staff seem genuinely very happy. My first experience wasn't the best it was an off weeknight and they were training in new chefs but visiting on a weekend evening they bring their A game and my meal ranked as either the best or the second best filet mignon I have ever had. They do have a bit of an oddity with sides but it may be that it makes the experience better, more social. The sides are ordered separately and come as their own serving dishes and they are also very good. Definately a have to recommend eating here, but heed your timing and you shouldn't be disappointed.

Stopped here on a drive to Colorado. Good spot. Good service. Respected that I ordered my steak "rare plus" and some won't. Didn't drink, as it was a roadtrip, but they have a full bar and a decent (if not creative) cocktail list.

The best steakhouse in Nebraska. Period! The food was incredible, the atmosphere was sophisticated and the service was impeccable. Once you try Mahogany Prime Steakhouse, every other place will be second place.

The Filet Mignon was so tender, it melted like butter in my mouth. The asparagus was perfectly cooked, the hollandaise sauce was seasoned to perfection (I'm really picky about hollandaise, lol!) If I was to recommend anything off the menu, even though EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS, I'd recommend the Dynamite Shrimp!!! If you appreciate seafood and Thai spices, the shrimp is absolutely 'dynamite'! The servings are generous and the service is outstanding! Will be back (in 3 months because the menu is a little costly, but you have to PAY for exceptional food and service)!!!

Excellent service for our group of 20 after my daughters wedding on August 10,2018. Food was excellent. The staff was amazing. I won't lie it was a little expensive but we knew that going in. Made for a wonderful end to the day.

The reputation was excellent and the certainly delivered. We had the lobster cargot appetizer and both of us had the ribeye, all being recommended by our server. Deserts were also excellent but not needed. Parts of all except the appetizer went home for later.

Fine dining that did not require dressing up too much (though others were). Wait staff and management were eager to please and even delivered a small box of chocolates for birthday celebrators. Food was well prepared and fine, though I have had better side dishes.
