Great atmosphere and a large choice of menu items. Our group of five all enjoyed our food and the Irish band from Chicago was fantastic. My apologies for not recalling the name. One issue was a new waiter who was late refilling drinks and removing dishes from the table. He was overwhelmed by the large crowd. Another was water on the ladies bathroom floor. Someone quickly came to clean it, but with a blind friend and elderly there, it was a safety issue.

This is my go to place for taking my wife on a date. They have great pub food, an awesome atmosphere, and when they have live music it's so much fun. I brought my mother here for mother's day the year she passed and it's my most cherished memory. This place is truly special.

When a friend turns 21 the peace process must be had at the Brazen Head! It is a tradition of ours. The real football is always on, and it feels like I am back in Ireland (the windows are covered in such a way that it feels downcast outside almost all of the time). The wooden finish and atmosphere all lead to the same conclusion. Their selection is growing, and the food is phenomenal. They even have quite a few Gluten-Free options. Stop in to Brazen Head!

The restaurant is cozy. I think they need to play more attention for customers. I come here for afternoon meal with my friend at 3.30pm and it only us at that time, but the fisrt waitresses big girl not very nice. The food is normal.

This was a very popular place on the Saturday and Sunday of St Patrick's Day weekend! We went about 1:00 on Saturday, hoping to avoid the lunch rush, and it was packed. We we're there an hour, and it didn't show any signs of letting up as we were leaving. We had the cottage pie and the corner beef and cabbage. Aside from being too salty, both were very good and the servings were large. I took half of mine home to have for dinner. They're a little pricey--the corned beef and cabbage was $14, which seemed like a bit much for lunch time in a pub. So I'm not sure we'll be back unless unless it's this one holiday. But overall I'm glad we tried it.

The best reuben in town (even better than Crescent Moon). Decent prices on their food. Everything I've had there has been excellent and the quality hasn't changed in the many years I've visited. It's definitely worth a trip if you like food, and the atmosphere is great on top of that.

This used to be my favorite bar to go to. It's cozy, quiet, has good drinks, and is a great place to meet friends and actually have a conversation without blaring music or yelling. But then they started closely prematurely, without warning. I went there one night and they closed at about 12:10 (when they are supposed to be open until 2am). Just a week or two later I went there again on a night they were supposed to be open until 11. One friend drove 40 minutes across the city because he could get there just after 9:30 and still have 1.5 hours. As soon as he arrives the bartender tells us they're closing in about 20 minutes. Very annoying. I'm hesitant to ever go again because I have no clue when they may arbitrarily decide to close, so I'm not going to have anyone waste their time driving there to meet up when the bar might just decide to randomly close two hours early.

Modeled after the pub in Ireland also called Brazen Head the staff is friendly, prices are reasonable, and food is fried and amazing. Night menu (after 10p) has half price drinks and food Mon-Thur which makes for a cheap 4th meal. Wait staff is occasionally hit or miss, but the cottage pie and fish and chips make it more than worth it.

If you're interested in live music or the particular ambience of this place, then it may have something special to offer you. If you're interested in a great place to eat and drink, there are a hundred other places in Omaha that offer as good or better. I found the food and service to be mediocre to average. It's the kind of place I might visit once in a while if it happened to be very close by, but not the kind of place I'll go out of my way to come back to.

My wife and I took an elderly neighbor to Brazen Head on a Friday night. It was not busy, so we were promptly seated. The elder was unfamiliar with the menu, and was slow in figuring out her drink order. Two times, we had to tell the waiter that we were not yet ready. He did not return a third time. It was not busy, and he passed by our table ten times or so without making any kind of eye contact. Finally concluding that he did not want to serve us, we walked out. As a couple, we've always enjoyed Brazen Head. I think it is a great place, but not a good choice for elderly persons. Come to think of it, it's not a good choice for us either.

If you're looking for an authentic Irish pub then this fits the bill. Good Irish beer selection and typical but slightly upscaled pub fare. My favorites are the creamy onion soup and the fried brie app. Fish and chips are plentiful but sometimes the breading can be a little dense and slightly greasy. Otherwise tasty. Nice and frequent live music opportunities are offered. Proximity to the Omaha Community Playhouse make it a great pre-play stop as well
