Best burger I've ever had! Tried the "Jim Beam and Coke" 2016 Burger Champion. The flavor was amazing. Sweet and savory. All the flavors worked perfectly together to make a super satisfying burger for your taste buds. I'm very pleased and won't have a burger anywhere else!! The service was amazing as well. The owner came and chatted with us, along with a few staff members. Everyone was very nice and made us feel welcome. We will be back soon!!

Their burgers are great, but be prepared to wait. We waited 20 minutes for a table, 15 minutes for our order to be taken and after 30 minutes, we asked for our burgers to go. Never brought my ice tea either. I'm not sure if they were short staffed the day we went or not. Those close to us were unhappy, too.

Visiting from out of town for a couple days and was recommended by many locals. They're only open during lunch hours so it can be tricky. They have 3 award winning burgers to choose from. Pictured is the "I'm Your Huckleberry" burger with garlic fries. For such a high reputation they certainly did not disappoint. I was thoroughly impressed by the burst of flavors in each bite. The goat cheese and huckleberry BBQ sauce were exquisite. The meat was perfectly juicy. The garlic fries were not my favorite. I had to smoother them with ketchup because the parmesan was so dry. That being said, the fry itself was golden and crisped to perfection. I'll try the Cajun fries next time. This place is certainly a must visit for Billings. I support the national recognition.

Parking around the restaurant was a nightmare but, after searching for about 20 minutes I finally found a spot a block away on a Sunday! I ordered the outlaw burger with onion rings. It was a good burger, good bun and a decent meat patty. My only complaint would be the large cooked whole cloves of garlic inside, I love garlic as much as the next guy but, this thing was loaded with them. It is not the best burger I've had but it is certainly worth trying. I will go back and try a different Burger. The onion rings were large slices dipped in a beer batter, also good. As other people have mentioned, it is a bit slow but, I passed my time looking at the celebrity photos on the walls.

It was several award winning burgers on the menu. This is a small popular restaurant in the middle of downtown Billings Mt. Be prepared for parking problems, at least there is a parking structure across the street. I only had to pay $1 for parking while at lunch. Was it worth it? YES The burgers were excellent and so were the onion rings. I recommend you give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

This isn't the best burger place in Billings. It's the best burger place in the state! Seriously, this place is crazy good and a local gem. They may only be open for lunch, but they'll be filled for most of it. Everything thing do is handmade and from scratch, including the incredible huckleberry bbq sauce and dangerously spicy thunderbolt sauce(had it extra spicy one. Not for the meek.) One of the fun things about the place is the frequent daily specials. They'll often be something creative and off the wall. Just a good fun place with world class burgers.

I think that The Best of The Bash burger is quite possibly the best burger I've ever eaten (and I have tried it more than once). It's perfectly balanced, between crunchy onion rings and smooth goat cheese, to spicy sriracha and bitter arugula, to the savory burger tying everything together. Last time I was in two weeks ago, the waitress suggested getting my fries with garlic Parmesan AND Cajun seasoning, and they are my new favorite fries. You can expect a classic dive atmosphere and quick moving staff here. If you're from out of town, this is definitely the one spot I would recommend if you're short on time.

Best Burger you can have!! Basic small burger dive that is clean and well kept. Staff is exceptional!! But it's not anything else that you are there for but the Burger!! Seasoning is complimentary to well grilled meat. Condiments are exceptionally well prepared to make the burger melt and sing on your tongue. The bun that wraps all the goodness up in it is perfect for absorbing the juices that you would hate to lose down your hand. Now onto the side of fries or onion rings. Without the perfectionist of these you would feel as though as you were missing part of a well developed meal. There is a care, dedication, and strive for perfection that sits on the platter of what you have ordered that you would never feel whole as a person if you missed. I can't explain how much this burger place can change your outlook on any day. Go and trust me you will return seeking out the true life defining experience of having a burger like no others can compare!!!!

The burgers are very filling. I have only tried the Behemoth -- about 2 inches of fried cheese all the way around the outside of the bun. This burger was a little salty for my taste, but likely due to all the cheese. I'll try a different option next visit.

I came to Billings for my college orientation & stubbled upon this great diner. Turns out, it’s kind of a big deal!! My mom & I got to meet all three generations, admire their wall of fame and enjoy two of the award-winning burgers! The burgers were delicious & the atmosphere was super friendly. But, don’t just take my word for it... you can find them on Food Network, Man vs. Food and World Food Championships. Yum!

A blend of great customer service and unique menu should be a recipe for a 5 star review. But I agree with others that report the fries are a little soggy and food a little bland. I would go back and try more menu items. I did enjoy the onion rings--Like everything else, a little high priced (five rings for $3.50). In truth on my part, the best part of the meals was being there.

The staff and service here is what makes this place 5 stars, in my book. Very friendly, very prompt, kept checking on me, asked how my day was, the cook came out to the floor and checked on everyones food and food was out quickly and fresh. They have a winning recipe here when it comes to their people. Cannot wait to come back.

In our short visit of 35 minutes, we were asked to have our waters filled 3x, and checked on by staff as to how our food was 2x. Had the Juicy Lucy and fries. Killer burger., Fries good, not "blown away". Maybe I prefer a bit of garlic and salt in the San Fran fries. Looking forward to returning!

After repeated attempts to get here, I understand why The Burger Dive is so popular! Without going into great detail, the service and the burger were exceptional. The bun was not too heavy and toasted perfectly. The burger was cooked perfectly as well, as if I had custom ordered it. To get seated promptly, go early, as the place fills up quickly during the noon hour.

I came here and tried the Juicy Lucy. I don’t think I have ever had a burger that good. The fries were great too. The waitress had said that the Juicy Lucy took a while longer to cook, yet it came out really quick. If you’re looking for a good lunch downtown, come to the Burger Dive.

I am a HUGE burger fanatic. So when I moved to Billings I thought I had to try this place. Got lucky, only had to wait 10 minutes because it was just a party of 2. We sat at the bar. Typical waiting time for food at a sit down restaurant. Burger meat had no flavor, was cooked well done (I prefer medium), the bacon was undercooked and chewy (not the good kind of chewy, it was ALL fat and no meat), the $7 sweet potato frie basket was completely undercooked, so the fries were... limp, but still too hard to eat. I ordered an apparently world winning burger, The Huckleberry one, and the bun and exorbitant amount of goat cheese was all I tasted. The prices definitely do not reflect the quality of food. The service was good, however. I am not from Montana originally, so maybe Montanans like bland, so-so food because they don't know any better. I've had fast food burgers that have blown my mind. Maybe my standards are too high?

I have the "Blackened Sabbath"...the creamy goodness of the blue cheese, mixed with the salty bacon and crunchy onion rings makes for a damn good burger (and I'm not really a burger person). Service was great...very attentive and all-around a great casual atmosphere. We will be back. Apparently we lucked out and went when the weather was terrible so we were seated right away and didn't have any issues finding a parking spot. I have heard that this can get dicey around the peak lunch hours. Either way....worth it!

Big city atmosphere with small town appeal.. Very friendly and organized.. Awesome Staff very Helpful.. My soda never got down to less than half full while waiting. Which was no more than 20mins, not long for a great tasting Burger.. Well Worth It!!! I'd give the 10

After repeated attempts to get here, I understand why The Burger Dive is so popular! Without going into great detail, the service and the burger were exceptional. The bun was not too heavy and toasted perfectly. The burger was cooked perfectly as well, as if I had custom ordered it. To get seated promptly, go early, as the place fills up quickly during the noon hour.

Expect a wait to be seated. This place frequently has a line outside and around the building. It's not because they are slow in the kitchen. It's because they truly have award winning burgers here. So many award's adorn their walls . They have some the most flavorful combinations on a burger you can dream of. No plain food here. There are tasty shakes,burgers,hot dogs,chilli,soup,Wilcoxsons ice cream and a flaming s'mores shake EVERYONE needs to try. Great service. Even though it's standing room only sometimes, your cup never goes empty. Worth the wait and every dollar you spend.

I came here and tried the Juicy Lucy. I don’t think I have ever had a burger that good. The fries were great too. The waitress had said that the Juicy Lucy took a while longer to cook, yet it came out really quick. If you’re looking for a good lunch downtown, come to the Burger Dive.
