Good basic Montana bar, casino and restaurant with the same basic breasted chicken that they've offered for many years. Nothing fancy, just a decent value for the money. Service is fast and friendly.

Suds Hut has the best chicken and coldest beer in town. I've never been disappointed - until last Friday. Meeting friends at the Suds Hut on that Friday night was impossible. It was packed and it seemed there was no system for seating once we arrived. Kind of fend for ourselves sort of thing. Well, we decided to move on to another place. Too bad - after I had convinced others to join me there. On that particular evening, the floor space used for the "casino" was misappropriated.

Suds is the best. They have the tastiest burgers in town. Get it with bacon and giardiniera. The chicken is usually good too. Additionally, it's quite affordable, and the beer "slammers" are fun to drink out of. It gets super packed and the service declines so go at an off time!

Fun stuff here folks. Locals and tourists alike...I only wished I had come here sooner. I've been visiting Helena over 20 yrs. now and for some reason hadn't stopped here before. On my last two visits we made multiple visits. Several with large parties of family and friends a few with couples and from time to time alone. Each and every occasion I was treated as if I were part of the family. I have yet to have had a bad meal and the cost is well worth the experience. Happy to have found this little gem

We were looking for a place to grab a bite to eat and a lady at the Walmart recommended The Suds Hut. It was a great find we had chicken dinner there and it was very tasty. Service was a little slow but we would go back there again in a heartbeat nice clean little restaurant.

I finally went here! Heard about it for years now and have been seeing their food posts on Facebook! They lived up to everything I have been told and have seen. Service was great, drinks were cold, and food was top notch. My only complaint would be, it was uncomfortably hot inside there. However, the open pit fire was neat! I enjoyed the stained glass up and around the ceiling.

Was just there for dinner the other night. Chicken was under cooked. There was no "sorry". The manager was more concerned I had moved a table out of place than the service to the customers. 15 minutes later I received the replacement meal, after my husband had finished eating. Too bad, I like the chicken at the Suds Hut, but won't be back anytime soon.

THE place for chicken in Helena, you may wish to order to-go depending on your preference. Suds Huts (SH) is landmark business, in operation for 30+ yrs. SH uses a pressure cooker method for their fried chicken that seals in juices and flavor. Best chicken I found in HLN. Good value, 8-pcs, 1-lb. of Jo-Jos, and a few sides will put you in the $20 range; will feed 4-persons. If you have plague like locust teenagers, order a bit more. Only downside IMHO, SH inside is VERY noisy during dinner hours. I opt for take out and enjoy at home. Phone orders have always been on-time and ready for me. Fried chicken in the South might be better, but SH is best chicken in HLN!

Known for their chicken however I've tried it 3 times now & I'm not impressed. Chicken thigh is a small knot with hardly any meat on it. Tried the Pineapple Chicken sandwich and couldn't taste the pineapple; however the Philli sandwich was good. Staff is not friendly at all.

This little bar and casino has some on the best friend chicken around. They have a rather wide selection of food that they offer. The interior is fairly small but they do have a patio you can eat on, wouldn't recommend expecting service out there as they don't check for new guests. The food is good and the prices are more than fair for the portion size. Try the chili fries and a chicken dinner!

This place really does not support the LGBTQ community very well. Went there for mine and my husbands anniversary and we waited for an hour for our food. Then got it and it was burnt and dry as hell. Complained to the manager and we paid for our drinks got the meal for free and then we left. I will never eat here again after that. It was a horrible experience for us.

Our family typically avoids casino restaurants. So, after driving by years without considering stopping here, we dropped in to Suds Hut for lunch. We were pleasantly surprised to get great meals and exceptional service at this local bar and grill with a quirky barnyard themed interior. The restaurant was extremely crowded, but well worth the wait. We'll be back!
