I was really disappointed after hearing how great this place was from friends. The food was good, though expensive, for what we ordered. The service was poor, our server was not attentive, at all. We went for long periods waiting to get another drink or water refilled. She set our bill on the table and walked away totally oblivious of the fact I was talking to her.

I really love the food here, they really know how to put together flavor combinations to come up with something fantastic. Try the zoom Burger! Much better than the sum of its parts. The only downside is that it's in downtown Billings, I wish it was on the West End, the heights, the South side anywhere but downtown. Watch your back when you're wandering around downtown Billings

For the last 3 years the Stacked was our go to place on our way to Big Sky for skiing. I love the minimalistic look and the food is truly amazing. Only reason I'm leaving 4 stars instead of full 5 is the reason that menu it these years stayed the same. I believe that chef or who ever is responsible for creating the menu is really talented and have great potential and we want to see more from this guy. All in all, great job.

A group of us went for lunch and rarely saw our server. We waited for her a lot- we waited a long time before she came to introduce herself and give menus to the late comer, we waited a long time before she came over to place our orders, we waited a long time for her to pick up our check so we could sign it and leave... I never feel forgotten at restaurants - usually servers check up on you at least occasionally. I'm pretty low maintenance, so this was a new experience for me. Hopefully that's not their norm.

To start, I had the pear crostini. It was a little too sweet for me. If it had more goat cheese, it would have been more balanced. Also the bread needed to be toasted a little more for my taste. For my entree I had the pesto salmon which was excellent! It came with a side of brussel sprouts which I loved. The service was wonderful. I didn't feel rushed even when they ended up closing early for the winter weather.

What a great restaurant. The service was one of a kind! The steak I had was so tantalizing and fell apart in your mouth. My bf had bacon wrapped meatloaf and it was very good and moist. The atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable.

Went here for a large business gathering. At first I thought we would overwhelm the staff, but they did awesome. Food overall was very good and staff made us feel at home. Had a few different items and loved it all. The banana creme brûlée was the cherry on top at the end. This place is definitely worth a try!

This was our first visit to Stacked. We met some friends and thought the atmosphere was warm and friendly along with the service. Great choices to choose from on the menu. My favorite was the truffle parmesan fries and the bacon from my BLT. I don't think the hoagie bun was a great choice for the BLT but the flavor was good. We will try it again.

All of the items on the menu here are vegan. We got the Jamaican Jerk. Was perfectly spiced and tasted great. The selection of locally brewed craft beer is awesome. The bartender was helpful in finding me the right beer by offering a sample. Can get super busy and seating is limited. Great place overall ! I would definitely recommend it if you're in the San Jose downtown area.

First, the dinner was amazing! We had amazing appetizers, incredible steak, and delicious bread pudding for dessert. Second, Stephen (owner/chef) was there and he came around to our table and engaged our 3 small children, talked with us about his restaurant, the art on the walls, and the design of the restaurant. The staff were very friendly and very accommodating for my large family. Thank you, Stacked!!!!

Solid good food and expedient service. We enjoyed dates, brussel sprouts, bacon meatloaf and a filet. Super close to a five star - would have preferred a side option besides a few types of mashed potatoes - but having said that both the garlic and cheese potatoes were very tasty. The single bench wall layout is a little off-putting but I get it based on floor plan options. Solid choice folks!

We went in without reservations on a Wednesday evening about 6:30PM. We were quickly greeted by a personable hostess who quickly bussed the one open table and we were seated almost immediately. The resaurant was buzzing; most patrons were casually dressed and when leaving, everyone appeared happy. We ordered amazing wasabi deviled eggs for a starter, and entrees of andouille sausage/shrimp with cheesy grits, and sriracha chop with roasted Brussels sprouts. Service was attentive and kind, food was delicious and plating was appetizing and pleasing. Only regret was being too full to try dessert.

This is the first time that we came here. we brought my in laws out and I had the whisky salmon and my wife had the Orange salmon my mother in law had the ribeye and father in law had the pork. All the plates came with brusul sprouts. They were very good also. every plate was perfect the service was prompt and polite and freindly. We came to use the coupon but we will be back. I WAS EVERY HAPPY.

I tried a brisket burger here and was not impressed. The fries were just frozen shoestrings that were fried without seasoning. They also don't allow you to come in for a quick drink without buying food. With how much quality food service there is in Billings, I don't feel tempted to give Stacked a second chance.

Took forever and then I made a mistake and ordered desert; finally gave up and canceled it (how long does it take to put a piece of cheesecake on a plate?) I also feel that Stacked is overpriced. That is true of the appetizers I had but also the cheesecake I ordered was $3 more than a neighboring restaurant.

Truffle fries had way too much salt, almost mouth destroying. Great interior and layout! I really feel like its just a hard start but can easily turn around with a good floor staff!

Let me first say that the food is quite good, if given the opportunity to completely bypass the sub par service and inattentive wait staff I would most certainly come back to enjoy another meal. Unfortunately that is not really a feasible option unless I care to utilize a takeout option (defeats the purpose of dining out in the first place). The water made it to the table quickly, the refill took over 30 minutes, appetizers took over 40 minutes to be delivered, and it was another 45 mins to get our meals. Our waitress checked on us twice not counting drink/food orders, it's not as if she was slammed, the restaurant was at half capacity with a full Friday staff. She completely vanished for long periods and never once apologized for her lack of attentiveness. When all you order is a grilled ham/cheese sandwich and some fried cheese (don't judge) it should be a relatively simple order to place and deliver with a few beverage refills in-between. Is the food worth your time? I'll let you be the judge.

The brussel sprouts we're awesome, but the rib eye was just ok, they are corn feed beef. For the price of the steak I was expecting a more tender piece of meat, like the ones I e had at Bull Mountain, or a T-Bone from the Meat Palace. But all in all I will be going back to try their burger that ranked high nationally. Their truffle fries are super good as well. Over all I give it a 3.5.

Unusual seating style for the type of food. A very long bar, even though the taps are not at the bar and are at the back of the restaurant. I skipped the on tap beer that seemed to be at room temperature, and they don't serve whiskey. That was the only downside. The food was very good! My steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned well. The smoked cheddar mashed potatoes were amazing. I will definitely come here again and continue to order beer that is not on tap so I can get a cold one.

Came in to have dinner at the bar. The quesadilla appetizer was good but the brisket sandwich I was served was vile, tough, and overshadowed by 2lbs of unneeded cheese and a greasy sauce. Wait staff was inattentive and there was a random guy walking behind the bar not even making himself useful; he obviously worked there but it was awkward.

Stacked exceeded my expectations. I had ordered a delicious burger with goat cheese and raspberry jalepeno sauce and was a little concerned that this Restaurant had overdone it in ambition, but it turns out the burger was an amazing mashup of flavors. The fries were an excellent addition. The beer selection is diverse and the appetizers are well thought out and unique. The atmosphere is quieter than a sports bar, but still has enough fun to keep it young and fresh. Easy to get to $30+ per person. Overall, I will be coming back and telling others of my experience.
