Hands down. The staff was amazing, as well. If you are ever in the Great Falls area, you must try it .

This post was continued on Yelp but Jason determined that there was no need for me to change my review. So I am posting this on all other review sites wish there was a 0 star option. We have 6 kids and thought it would be fun to go check this place out while visiting Montana. Our 2 year old was fussy from being in the car as we live in salt lake (lots of car time). We were told to get a hold of the situation or we would be asked to leave. I am not it the habit of putting a muzzle on my children so I told them we would just go. They told us that they lost 6 customers as my son was too loud. I hope that if you read this post you will be one more customer lost for them. I understand loud children are annoying. We weren't there in peak hours. This should have been handled very differently. My wife was in tears as we left. Dont go here just out of principle... total ignorant, jerks. Jason replied to my review saying that maybe take out would be a better option and that my family should eat at a park. To all those families with kids out there. I hope you are never ashamed of your kids. They can be wild and crazy, some just come that way. Dont think that because they are loud you cant go places. Except this place, Jason for sure didnt get it... Sorry about the "theft". I was under the impression the the fries were complimentory to help settle my son down (we didnt order them) As for the drinks if I knew that you were wanting to get paid I would have asked for a to go cup as we didnt even get to drink them. As for defamation it implies what I said was not true. As it is my opinion that it is true, I dont see how that is even relevant. However let me know what you consider defamation and I will take it down. It astonishes me that throughout this amazing incohesive response you have yet to try to make things right. This would have played out so much different had you come to use and said hey, he has a set of lungs doesnt he. What can we do to help him out. If it continued to be an annoyance then maybe say I am really sorry but is there a way that we can get your order to go this is a really small room and his echos are a little much. Maybe if you had tried some class I wouldnt have posted anything. Or if you had come to the post and said, you know what, I am so sorry for how this was handled. It was just a heat of the moment thing and we really arent like that. We would love for you to come back and give us another try (even if you didnt mean it) I mean the chances of me coming back are 0. I live over 8 hours away. The consideration that shows is game changing in dealing with customers which is what I was. Why would I need to evaluate myself? We came to a restaurant. Yes my son was loud. I am sorry that he caused some people to leave in the less than 15 minutes were there. When approached about it I said nothing, I didnt make a scene, even though we were treated extremely rudely. I left a message on your Facebook page and Google letting you know how we felt and was replied to with ignorance and more rudeness and you even deleted my post from your page. I would like you to know I didnt have a Yelp account until today. I am not usually one to make a big deal out of stuff. We have had bad service before but nothing like we experienced at your restaurant. I may not have persued this had there not been other reviews stating that Jason was belligerent towards them as well. You cant treat people with disrespect and expect them to do nothing. In a calm and collected way tell me how I am wrong. If you can show me that this was a misunderstanding i will change my review. In my experience if it quacks like a duck and walks like a duck it is a duck. Please note that this isnt an open forum for you to tell me how to raise my kids. That is my choice. I came to you for food and that is all you are qualified to lecture me on.

One of the best burgers you'll find not only in Great Falls, but quite possibly anywhere! Service was attentive and very friendly. It's a fairly small joint that is very popular, so expect a wait time normally. We were seated after only about 10 minutes of waiting. The menu doesn't have a huge variety to choose from, but you don't want that here. You came here for a burger, so order one! You can order a custom burger or choose from one of their many varieties that they have to offer along with their many tasty homemade sauces. I ordered the 'Sin City' - a patty with diced jalapenos covered in melted pepperjack cheese. It was so delicious! It's hard to describe what exactly makes this the perfect burger, but once you taste it, you'll know! Everyone in our party expressed how delicious theirs was and none of us got the same thing. I upgraded to the cheese fries for $2 and found them equally as enjoyable as the burger. My wife and I jokingly suggested we eat here again the next night for dinner (only kind of joking). Seriously though, this is now one of my favorite places to eat in Great Falls and will frequent here often!

Was looking for somewhere different for a Sunday breakfast and found the RHD on Google maps. Breakfast till 130 on Sunday. Great food, even better served and not really expensive for the amount of food you get. I had the All American and am glad that I didn't get the Large Marge, I saw someone at another table get it and it looked really good but big enough for a NFL linebacker. Can't wait to try their burgers.

I don't even eat beef but I tasted my husband's burger and considered a lifestyle change. The black bean burger was pretty good though. And don't get me started on the fries. The fries are what you dream about, that maybe someday somewhere there are fries like this. Thin sliced, double cooked, just enough saltiness... I feel like I was waiting my whole life to eat those fries (we got cheesy ones but I feel like noncheesy would be great too!). The salad was great quality. Abunch of their ingredient sources are local and handmade. ALSO we were greeted at the door with big smiles, even though it was an obviously busy time. Our server Drew was excellent, with just the right amount of suggestions and attentiveness even though he was busy. ...I don't think I can even enjoy other place's half-attempts at fries after eating at this place. They've ruined me. JUST EAT HERE OKAY

My 1st time eating here and it was fabulous! My son got the widowmaker burger which is his favorite but its definitely HOT, my husband got the PB&J Burger and that is creative and just plain good! I got the pulled pork sandwich and it was hands down the best pulled pork I've ever had! I also tried one of the specialty teas in a Chai blend and it was AMAZING. This place is a gift to Great Falls and you need to eat here!

Buns are buttered and toasted to perfection. The menu isn't the limit as you can order a custom design of your own.. Even a 5lb, 6 patty, bacon stuffed monster! The sky is the limit! I've visited burger joints in all fifty states, and in many countries, and Roadhouse is arguably the best. It is reason enough for a weekend flight to Great Falls from anywhere in the US! ✈️ ☑️

I went there one time and I loved the food it was very good I couldn't eat it all though because it was a lot. I would definitely eat there again the only thing that I didn't like was not even the wait because it was a wait but 2 tables came in like I want to say 15 min after I ordered my food and they had more people then my party of 3 and they got their food and left before I even got my food. Other then that the people who worked there were very nice and I spent a little more then I normally would I would go there again.

The diner is small, but the food is absolutely incredible. On Sundays they serve breakfast only but their entire menu is perfect for any time of day. The staff and waitresses/waiters are experienced, friendly, and attentive. The owner was there when we went and greeted us and was genuinely happy to have us there. The owner acted in a very rude and classless manner. My brother has an 18 month old that has had health issues his whole life who was throwing a fit at the restaurant. They were trying their best to help him simmer down, including trying to feed him fries that were brought out but he persisted. The owner eventually marched over and told them loud enough for the whole place to hear to “get his kid under control or leave.” So they got up and left quickly and my Dad returned the next day to pay for the drinks. A child crying is annoying but all part of normal families patronizing public restaurants now and then. Very disappointing that he had to resort to that kind of behavior. We will not be going back. (As you can see from his response below he is still not handling this with any sort of hospitality. Just take a peek at the other 1 star reviews for yourself. We are decent people with no reason to stretch the truth. His lack of willingness to seek resolution speaks for itself.)

I have never been disappointed when we’ve eaten at Roadhouse. The servers are some of the best I’ve experienced in Great Falls. Always kind, helpful, and quick; never rude. The food is great, the burgers are quality with top notch beef. Breakfast is excellent too! I survived eating the Widow Maker, but if you don’t really love spicy, hot stuff, then STEER CLEAR! I really like the fries here as well, not too thick and not like straw fries. This place is really well managed and has an authentic Montana feel. Now that you’ve read this, go eat a burger!

Fries were probably best tasting fries I've had in a long time. Waitress was nice but completly botched my order. I ordered it well done and it came out REALLY pink. It was supposed to have cheese and it came out with none, we tried handing them the plate to take it back to heat it and melt the cheese and they said they'd just bring the cheese out... Ummm not what I asked for. I was really excited to go here reading all the good reviews. I just wish the waitress would've been more attentive to my order as well as better at solving any issues. I'd like to add - I'm a very understandable person. I used to be a server so I know things go wrong. After the cheese incident, I didn't cause a fuss over my burger being uncooked, I just ate everything else. I didn't ask for it to be removed from my bill or anything. For a business wanting customers they should know a bad word good further than a good word. So the fact that they weren't happy with a negative review and went out of their way to be rude to me shows me they don't care if I ever come back to try it again. So... I won't.

Stopped on our way from Laramie to Glacier National Park for lunch. It was busy but we snagged two spots at the counter. My boyfriend and I both ordered burgers and fries. THESE WERE THE BEST BURGERS WE HAVE EVER HAD! The beef is hand ground and made fresh every day and you can tell the difference. They are seared to perfect juicy ness, which compliments the house made bun that does not get soggy by soaks up the juice nicely. I ordered the roadhouse and he ordered the backyard burger. The French fries are from Monaghan’s and perfectly crispy. Tara, who waited on us, was kind and knew her stuff. The desserts looked amazing, but neither of us had room. Stop and give this place a try! We loved the decor and how everything was branded; even the stories posted in the bathrooms were a noticeable and appreciated touch.

Wow. Telling someone they need counseling because you can not handle the truth is sad. Seems to me someone is guilty of copying an idea. Why would you say that and start calling them a gender that is not their gender. It seems to me you can't take criticism. I ate here and I think it is not up to par. I rather go to the burger bunker.

If you are or have someone with you who has special needs or requires accommodations, think twice about going here. Also, if you have a young and large family, think twice about going here. We were treated VERY unkindly. I am so sad and disappointed. We came here as out of town travellers. I was so excited to try the food here! the menu looks delicious and I've heard great things about it from family who are both local and from out of state. We're from Salt Lake City and traveled 10 hours to get to Great Falls. We were on our first major family road trip, which has not been an option the last two years because of serious health complications with our youngest son who deals with a major ongoing health condition. This year, he is well enough to travel and we wanted to take advantage of an opportunity to make some family memories before his health declines again. We got to the Roadhouse Diner with my husband and I, our 6 kids, and grandpa. We were SOOOOOO excited for the yummy burgers. We were seated and looking over the menu. Our server was very kind and helpful. My youngest son (with the health problems, and who also a bit developmentally delayed and struggles with speech) was antsy from all the time in the car. He often squeals or shrieks right now instead of using words to communicate. It's something we work with a specialist for. I think from the long hours in the car and the wonky sleep hours he's had, he was a lot more prone to act up. He was noisy. We tried our best to distract him and keep him from being disruptive. Another employee here ran us a complimentary basket of fries. Once he was able to have something to snack on he quieted down and was happy. We ordered and were all happy, and excited to try the novel PB&J burger that this place is known for. Soon after ordering, we were approached by a male manager or owner of some sort. He stood close to our table and spoke in an impatient, loud voice and said: "YOU NEED TO GET THIS UNDER CONTROL" as he looked at my son who had been noisy. I looked at my husband with a confused look. The person continued in an irritable tone, "WE'VE HAD 6 PEOPLE LEAVE BECAUSE OF THE NOISE HE IS MAKING. YOU NEED TO GET THIS UNDER CONTROL...OR YOU NEED TO LEAVE." I immediately felt my face get hot. I felt really shamed and hurt and embarrassed. He was speaking loud enough that the whole restaurant could hear what he was saying to us. My husband immediately stood up and said "THEN WE'LL LEAVE." I started crying, and we gathered our crew and walked out with everybody staring at us. I'm sorry that the noise my son was making had bothered customers enough to leave. But you know what, as we were paying customers also, and a party of 9, that was NO WAY for management to handle that. They ended up losing more than 6 customers. As a tired and traveling mother, I was trying my best to help my youngest son not be disruptive. Our other children were behaving well. And like I said before, our son had settled down and was behaving fine after getting his fries. I am disappointed that management devalued our family and especially my youngest son. I don't know what was going on with the manager that day, but I hope he's not always grumpy like that. His behavior was extremely demeaning. This trip has been really beautiful for our family, and it's during a time when we really don't know how many summers we have with our youngest son. It is such a shame that the Roadhouse Diner experience was so horrible when it was a place our family had been so excited to visit. I hope that this review can be read by management so that future situations with a-typical customers can be handled with more compassion and respect toward the customer(s). Every customer should be treated with the same respect, no matter how old or young, or despite how "different" they may be from what the manager might expect to be "normal". The manager could have handled the situation with a lot more tact and grace rather than with rudeness & agression. I'm sure your food is delicious. It's so sad we were never able to try it.

You have to go here! The food is so fresh! The folks are so very nice. I met Tara. She is awesome! I can't tell you how much I enjoyed the Black Bean burger. I'm new at eating mostly non meat food. The BlackBean burger was so very tasty. I wish I picked up 2! An extra for my next meal. I travel alot for work. This is a place YOU MUST GO!!! The twice fried fries! So yummy!!! I took my order to go, I planned on eating it on the plane ride home. It didnt even make it into the terminal. Sorry for the half eaten burger pic, but look at that ooie gooie goodness!!

Do you enjoy a good burger at a backyard barbecue, ballgame, or restaurant? If so...BEWARE!! After eating a Roadhouse burger, all other burgers will forever disappoint you in comparison. I can hardly explain the joy I felt while eating the burger or the strange mix of satisfaction and sadness when I was finished. In that moment I knew I would never eat a better burger. I was traveling on business two weeks ago when I experienced a Roadhouse burger; I have thought about it every day since. The staff was wonderful, the restaurant was great, and I even enjoyed a nice conversation with a kind local couple. I don't care where you are coming from, it is worth the trip!!

Had lunch at the Roadhouse today. Best burger we have ever had. We have traveled through most all of the states in our RV and eaten at many different Diner and Grills. Excellent burger and wonderful house made fries. Excellent service, restrooms were spotless. Highly recommend Roadhouse Diner.

One of the best burger establishments in town. A great assortment of burgers to choose from. If your in Great Falls, MT you can't go wrong picking this place to eat. My only complaint would be the fries. Fuddruckers has the best serving steak fries. If this place served them too. They would be an unstoppable burger joint in this town. The setting is Montana style rustic. Not a lot of seating available during lunch time. Better to visit at Dinner. Also they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Paid $18.50 for a burger and fries, and when I asked to have my burger made without jalapenos they said they wouldn't because they won't substitute anything on their signature burgers....... because that makes sense If I'm going to pay for food I should be able to have it the way I want it....... Also no beer, or milkshakes If I wanted to be dissatisfied and $20 poorer I would've gone to the Playground
