If you've never been to the night owl then you probably haven't been to the back room which is attached to the night owl I highly recommend the back room for your barbecue needs probably the best in the Flathead and the night owl Restaurant section is always my favorite I will drive there just for their cheeseburgers they are the best. Their staff is always friendly and it's a very comfortable place to eat. PS don't forget about the the pies I have the apple crisp it was the best I've eaten ever. Highly recommend both of them. PSS don't forget the fry bread with the honey butter.

I was pretty impressed by this restaurant. I really like the good sized menu, with a nice wide variety of food options to choose from . The food was good. The service was friendly. We got our food pretty quickly. It has a nice location either going into or coming out of Glacier Park. I would recommend stopping here to fuel up your body before entering the park because the options for dining once you are in the park are limited and almost always packed.

First visit to Montana, all the way from Texas. Our hostess, Trista, and our servers, Jennifer and Mara were all amazing. My wife and I agreed that the Broasted Chicken is the best chicken we’ve ever eaten. We’d come back for the chicken AND the personal attention we were given. We were here 5 days and ate here 3 times! Awesome. We’ll be back someday!

The food was good, the plus point is the buffet was serving even in the evening and have some good items in it. Very few non-alcoholic drinks were available. Other than that everything was perfect.

Great food and great service once we were seated. That's the only reason they didn't get a 5 star rating from me! They took quite a while to seat us and we weren't acknowledged by three workers who walked by. Other then that the food was amazing!

The night owl is a more family type restaurant on the other side of this building. The Back Room is a lot fancier. BBQ style food. The Back Room is the best BBQ for cheep in this valley. Highly recommended. The Night owl is more low key, and a nice little stop for lunch with the family. If you visit the night owl, their tatter tots are to dye for!

Nice place. Had biscuits and gravy. Never had biscuits and gravy that wasn't a sausage gravy tho. Was just white gravy with 2 sausage patties in it. Definitely tasted different. Probably wouldn't get it again. Rest of the place was very nice.

It's a great place to eat. I love it when your waitress is a nice person not snobby because your Native American. But our was amazing she was nice, kind, and our food didn't take to long. We had left a different restaurant just before night owl because a white family came in and ordered after us and yet got there food before us. I had my two babies with me and they was hungry. I got mad at the waitress and manager. And left there place and come to eat at "NIGHT OWL" a better place to eat

Best hometown restaurant around. Very friendly staff. Food comes quickly so if you're hangry they'll make sure you're in great spirits before ya leave. Servings are large so either split your order or come hungry!!

Worst food and service ever 2 1/2 hours waitress took order not sure when she put it in 45 min later we got our food which was drI'd out like sandpaper we only saw our waitress 3 times she took our order brought our nasty food then our bill the 6 people be hind us sat for over 1/2 hour waiting to order they kept asking where waitress was we stated we had not seen her first quite awhile they kept saying let's leave I also wanted to leave should of the food was better eating carpenter dust all day no ly serving portion way smaller then usually don't waste your time or money

The food was very good and this place has nice ambiance. The service was on point. Of our party, I had their chicken, another had a rib eye, another the fish and our 4th had a burger. All of the meals were cooked as ordered. The veggies were properly cooked (NOT overcooked). Yum!

Not fancy by any means, just good food and great service. Most of the people working here have been there for years. Sometimes it’s a little slow, sometimes not. Just be nice to them. They work hard. Sunday has a buffet that’s pretty good. The fried chicken is one of the best things on the menu! Super crispy and juicy, I love to drizzle a little honey on it too. The country ribs are what we normally order. You can get them by the pound and there’s plenty to share with some leftovers usually. My least favorite are the spareribs. We normally skip the “fixings” which are beans, red potatoes and slaw. The dinner salad is fresh and delicious. I recommend getting the dressing on the side or else there’s too much. We love their bleu cheese dressing. It is iceberg based, like I said, not fancy. It has cheddar cheese, tomato, onion and fresh croutons. Now....let’s talk about fry bread. Fluffy, dreamy fry bread. I’d like to make a pillow out of it and take a nap. My personal favorite is to dip it in your personal container of honey butter. It’s okay to have multiple personal containers. No judgment here. There’s also more honey if you need another drizzle. Don’t try to take it home if there’s any leftover. It will never be the same. A fry bread wedding cake? Why yes.

Hello, Natasha here I want to say for a spontaneous drive through the rain. My boyfriend had to remind me it's going to be worth it once we get there. Making it to the Night Owl finally, the parking lot was packed and I'm always up for a great bbq. I have to say sitting in he bar side our host was so accompanying and sweet she brought our drinks first and we ordered the fry Bread highly recommend and my lovely boyfriend got the brisket dinner while I'm looking at munching on bbq for the next few days I ordered the baby backs. So delicious

Fantastic food and unbelievable service. A group of ten of us showed up after hours, and Cindy our server welcomed us in. She went through the extra effort to make fresh gravy, coffee, and by far the best homemade cream of mushroom soup ever. Cindy's friendliness and customer service was unmatched. Cannot give enough thanks to Cindy for going out of her way to ensure that all of us had a great night at her expense. The food and service here really is incredible.

The food was great. You have to try the Fry Bread. It is served with a honey butter and super warm. It melts in your mouth. A little bit of sweet to go with your meal. Service was super friendly and atmosphere was good.

Took my parents out for Fathers Day. We all had the buffet! Chicken and Fry Bread were the only good things. Meatballs were tasteless and ribs were dry. Had a poor salad bar. Food was lukewarm. Also it is WAY overpriced for such a poor buffet!! Will never do the buffet again.

The best chicken I have ever had. After 4 they open the back room. They have barbeque which is average. Their specialty is Broasted chicken. It is amazing. I love fried chicken and this is the juiciest, crunchiest, chicken I have ever had.

Excellent food, the atmosphere of the restaurant is comforting and nice. I've been going here since I was little and the staff are always treating you like an actual human, and always have fun. There is a wide variety of food too. Last time I went there I ordered a Hawaiian pizza and the waitress told me that usually people don't order pizza because it's a barbeque restaurant. In summary the pizza was super tasty, and I had to take some home. The fry bread too is definitely one of the best things about this restaurant. Overall I would recommend this restaurant to really anyone, and I would definitely go there again.

Wonderful find if you’re looking for excellent BBQ (although the fry bread with honey butter is worth the visit as it is). We had the rib sampler platter, baby back ribs were our favorite. Excellent cocktails and brews made locally. Service was excellent, waitresses were patient and kind, not to mention incredibly fast! Highly recommend.

Out of Rotisserie chicken. Fried cod was small and more like flat fish nuggets. Could barely taste the fish because of so much hard batter. "Deluxe" salad was just iceberg lettuce, a croutons a little cheese, tomatoes and onion. It was large, so maybe that's what they call deluxe. Some of my husband's ribs which he shared were so hard I couldn't even cut or chew. There were lots of cars, so we thought it was a good bet. Not.

We went there because it was the only restaurant open after 9PM. Wow! What a great only choice. Although they have an extensive menu, we only had a bowl of soup and bowl of Chilli. The chilli was amazing. We were also sold by our waitress to try the Fry Bread with honey butter. If you do not get anything else, make sure you have the Fry Bread with Honey Butter.
