Monkey king

Best sushi in Billings Montana. Friendly hostesses that are always smiling and take good care of everyone. The sushi chefs are amazing and what they make is art it's almost a shame to eat it. If you want good sushi in Montana this is the place to go. Prices are good for what you get. Haven't tried the sake but I'm told it's good.

Haley Miller

Best sushi in Billings!

Kirsti Mellgren

They only thing wrong with this place is that it is where I had sushi for the very first time...and it's ruined me to eat it any where else! We travel a lot, and nothing ever compares. We find ourselves rushing to Nara as soon as we step foot in town!! This is a family owned restaurant with custom made rolls, and it's like no other I have ever been to. It's not a quickie dining stop, if you want that go buy the packaged sushi from the grocery store (yuck!). Either plan get there early, or sit back with a glass of beer or wine and enjoy the conversation, while you watch the sushi chef create his masterpieces. He is always experimenting and coming up with new ideas for rolls, giving Nara its contemporary feel, while Mom is cooking up the best dang traditional Korean food you will find here in the states. If you don't know what to order, just ask some of the locals at the Sushi bar, most of them come in daily and you will not be led astray! Try the Rolling Red, Crunchy Salmon, Spicy Tuna, or you might just get lucky and he will have some of my favorite, Seared Tuna (shhhh it's a secret!). If you are looking for a true Sushi Dining Experience, don't miss out on this place, you'll definitely be sorry you did!

Lee Walker

Great cozy atmosphere, wonderful sushi

Tovin Benson

Excellent sushi. The only place to go if you are visiting the Billings area.

CJ Zielie

great food friendly staff

Melissa Hawkins

Sushi was good! Prices were high and the server had a horrible attitude. She was actually down right rude!

Stacey Ronquillo

Having dinner, sushi, at Nara is always a treat. The chef and crew attend to all of my family's needs. Great tasting food.

Logan Nelson

All you can eat sushi on monday night!

Ben Fahl

The best in town

Derek Eaton

Sushi was ok, Best miso soup I possibly ever had. Really bothered me that we stopped by for a late lunch on a week day (approx. 210pm) so 10 min after lunch special ended, and the owner wouldn't serve us the special. Had he done that we would have greatly appreciated it.

Chloe Caruso-perez

Wasn't what I thought it was going to be.

MARY TOTEVE

Wasn't impressed with the hour long wait for our food. Only 1 server and the place was full. It took half an hr to get a water. Needless to say we missed our movie and cut our date night short. Thanks alot. I don't recommend this place to anyone.

Brad Cole

The food here is fantastic, and the atmosphere is very friendly and relaxed!

Desiree Kroll

Love AYCE Mondays!!

Kalli Rose Sizemore

The best sushi restaurant in the world! Honestly never expected to find such incredible flavor and amazing service. The atmosphere is great. Dae is a sushi king! Hand rolls, Nacho roll, and angry caterpillar are phenomenal! You want good sushi! You come here!

Stacy Ott

Dar and his family kill it and know what they are doing. Great food!!

Britani Grundhauser

Hands down the best sushi I've ever had! Very creative rolls and HUGE portion sizes! The food from the kitchen is also delicious. When we go out to eat 9 out of 10 times we choose to go here.

Zane Farnsworth

Excellent sushi restaurant!

Lyman Gillen

I moved downtown to live within walking distance for a reason. I am a weekly regular there, and it is probably one of my favorite spots in Billings. Do yourself a favor and check it out!

Andy Keith

Probably some of the best sushi in Billings, fresh fish large portions.

Bethany Allen

Excellent sushi! Great spicy tuna roll!

Mike Hickert

Gotta give it 5 stars cause you will not ever find a bigger portioned maki or nigiri anywhere (seriously who complains about it being too big!). Been coming here for years back when Young was still behind the bar. He was definitely old school and made fantastic "classic" sushi. Now that Dae has taken over it's still great but the sushi has been modernized/Americanized so you get a lot more creative options e.g. the nacho roll but unfortunately a lot of sauces on top as well.

Grant Phillips

The best sushi in Billings

kevin O'Malley

Best in town

Justin Kucera

The best sushi in Billings, by a lot. Great service too.

Jeremy Conner

Best sushi around, hands down!

Jill Murray

NaRa is a family owned restaurant, each member of the family is personal, kind, and truly care about their customers. They are a hardworking and very dedicated family to make their customers feel appreciated and loved. I have been going there for 3 years with my husband and each time they have shown us how much they care. If the wait is long, which with only one cook and two sushi chefs it does happen, they have been known compensate their customers with discounts or free appetizers and always make sure we get our soup, salad, and drinks quickly. The food is delicious and unique and Dae (Head sushi chef) will give you recommendations if it's your first time trying Sushi! You can't get much more personal than that :) The Korean dinners are to die for and made by Dae's mom. She has been cooking for almost 20 years, she knows what she is doing! Yum! We have recently moved and my husband and I are craving NaRa!! I would recommend anyone and everyone to try this place out. By far, BEST restaurant in Billings, PERIOD!

Chris Bagwell

Been there MANY times. I have eaten in sushi bars from Miami, Fl. to Cali, even in Belize and I have never had better sushi than that served at Na Ra. Yes, at times the service can get a little rough. There is a BIG culture issue behind that. The owner is Korean and over the years has come a Long way to adjust to the American way. But when the tempers flare as they will in ANY resteraunt the traditional Korean comes out. Its NOT a bad thing its just DIFFERENT. If you think they are rude in any way stick your head behind that curtain door to the kitchen and say hello to Youngs wife. She is one of the sweetest, most giving, hardest working people you will ever meet, ANYWHERE. Its well worth checking it out. Dae, the son now runs the place and has brought a whole new flair to perfection in sushi art. Yes, the price is a little on the high side, but so is the quality and taste.

Drew Hugentobler

Over an hour to get food, sub par sushi flavor. Fancy Sushi is ten times better.

Loretta Dalbey

Always fresh and delicious!

Mark

Friendly service. But the food? Unremarkable.

Andres Rivero

Very surprised by the speed of the dishes, still tasted ok. Great table service and good prices. Although I was there when it was practically empty so your results may vary.

Aurora Castillo

Simply loved the atmosphere and the vibe and the food was even better!! Great place

Jacob Olness

The best sushi and sashimi in town. Excellent service and environment. It’s a small, intimate restaurant that is great for a date or even a business lunch or dinner. NaRa is one of my favorite restaurant of any type in Billings.

Matthew McDonnell

Best sushi in the world... I love sushi and this is the BEST!

Amber Zahn

Hits the spot every time. My niece even loves the kids selection. Great service!!!

African Blonde

Always fresh!! Most things from the kitchen "MA" will cook as ordered!! May not look like much from the outside.... And I would call ahead for large groups.... But after traveling the US ... And frequenting sushi spots wherever I go.. this is a little gem in Billings Montana! The only reason they keep the venue as small as it is... HAS to be because "MA" must make each plate to her liking, just how you like it!!! Must try!

NATHAN BELDEN

Food it's good and the rolls are large but I feel it's a little on the pricy side

Candice Tatum

We first looked at the online menu and got excited about the Korean options. Upon arriving, we were handed a sushi menu. When we asked about the kitchen menu, we were informed none of the food listed online was being served anymore. The server rattled off things they could make like ramen bowls. So we tried to order a couple of appetizers and a sushi roll, and were again told by the snarky waitress who is no doubt tired of telling people what they don't have that the entire printed appetizer list on the menu was also not available. We did manage to order two things on the menu that was not sushi, tempura vegetables and kimchi with sticky rice. While the food was fair, the whole experience was a disappointment. We will not be returning. Ever.

Marilyn Short

We found NaRa shortly after it opened. We have made this our birthday and special occasion place to be. If you don't like Sushi there is a variety of tasty dishes for kids or adults. But then I can't figure out who doesn't like Sushi!

Ellie Swanson

NaRa is the best. You’d never think so from the exterior! One of only two restaurants in Billings that I can whole-heartedly recommend (there are some good others, but dishes can be hit or miss). This is top notch sushi.

Jim Carlson

Best sushi around. Dae is a real artist with the roll. Fresh and delicious!

Derrick Lucero

Love this place. Best sushi in town forever!

Discontent Billings

We love the place, great crew, creative take on sushi and easy going vibe!!! ✌️

Kellie Martin

Best sushi ever!

Amanda Clark Photography

Love the Whatever and Caterpillar roll

Marlene Hoburka

Exceptional quality always. We plan trips through Billings just to eat here. No fluffy gimmicks just GREAT food.

Ellsworth Racing

Perhaps I came here with my expectations too high, after reading all the great reviews online. No longer serving anything off the appetizer menu, most of the menu you find online is no longer available either. One young lady was working the dining area, so she was seating, serving, clearing tables and working the register. So, of course service was a bit slow, which was not her fault trying to do so much at once. She recommended Lucky Buddha Beer, and 3 of us tried it, loved it, my friend ordered another and she let's us know that's the last one they have. Alright, out of beer then, interesting. Then, sadly, the sushi itself was a bit of a let down, with some of our rolls coming in at average, others however, were below average.

Clinton Kegel

Excellent Sushi. Good service.

Colleen Hamman

Excellent sushi menu as well as other Japanese/Korean entrees. Great date night.

Michael Skaggs

Excellent food, kind, friendly, quick service. Very helpful!

Mike Atkinson

Greatest sushi in the country.

Marc Vischer

Been going here since they first opened. Food was good, bulgoki and veg tempura. Gyosa was steamed, not fried, I liked it better grilled a bit. No tofu in the miso soup anymore. 5 oz glass of wine is $5.50 but if you order the 10 oz it's $11. (?) The weird thing is the 70's soft rock music: Eagles, Steeley Dan, Seals and Croft, etc. They used to play unobtrusive Asian music. Be warned- you'll have "Welcome to the hotel California" going through your mind for many hours afterward. They should rent sound cancelling earphones.$$

John Stewart

I've eaten sushi all over the world, this is the best. Great quality fish, great service, great atmosphere. I've come here for receptions, birthday parties, and any excuse I can to get my friends here. Always a fantastic place. The spicy tuna roll and the Dae's Famous roll are some of the highlights.

Trevor Swisse

Best sushi ever!

Jessica Frank

The Sushi is GREAT! A bit pricey but worth the quality.

Lowell Paulson

We have been patrons of this restaurant from the VERY BEGINNING, when the original owners the Joos, started it. The food is great, but the wait staff is extremely slow, and at these prices, really..2 wait staff would be appropriate...sad to say, we will not return.

chincheck mcgraw

Hands down best sushi restaurant in Montana. Excellent quality fish and the portions are plentiful. Quick friendly service and very welcoming environment. Great for a quick bite or one of their all you can eat sushi nights. Highly recommend the Rolling red.

Tiffany Beck

Petty theft! My receipt total was altered by the female server to increase the tip amount. I could tell she was stressed during the shift, but I didn’t expect her to compensate by stealing. Keep your receipts folks, especially if you are traveling on business. Photo included of card statement charge vs receipt amount.

Ken Kensderson

Best Spicy Tuna I've ever had!

Kris Schauer

High quality and friendly service.

Steve Murray

Outstanding sushi in a beef rich environment.

Ben Kvam

Great Korean food sushi is good to but rolls are to big

Miranda G

Best sushi in town and truly has unique options for both lunch and dinner.

Dustin Liudahl

I've been told this place is world class. I have loved everything I have ever gotten here, too bad they don't do bulgogi anymore. Great sushi, great specials, and they serve beer, saki and wine. They have a pretty creative maki rolls selction.

kit freeman

The prices were three times higher than anywhere I’ve ever been. We walked out

Jeff Miller

Great sushi!!

Kelsey Fowler

Great sushi! Lived in Seattle for a couple years and surprisingly couldn't find a place to live up to it. Their sushi is always fresh and well made, tempura is nicely traditional, and the vegetable chun is delicious! The green tea has a nice roasted or nutty flavor - just make sure you don't let it brew too long. Wish I could try more rolls, but a lot of them have cream cheese which I'm allergic to.

Steven Purcell

Have lived in Billings for a year and decided to finally try NaRa. Sushi was great, but our server left a bit to be desired. Had finished our meal and she never checked on us to see if everything was to our liking. Also, she didn't seem to knowledgeable regarding the menu. I'll give her a pass this time as the sushi was very good. It really is the best I've had in Billings. Giving 4 stars based on the food alone.

Steve Knudson

Freshest sushi, generous portions, unique flavors. Best restaurant in Billings, period.

Roman Chavez

Great friendly and timely service. Sushi was good and I will be back!

Jennifer Thomas

My personal favorite sushi restaurant in Billings. Great colorful variety, fresh, a classic.

LLC

Great sushi. Family owned and operated. It's that "hole in the wall" place that you hear has the BEST food. It's true. If your not going for the sushi or sashimi go to Golden Phoenix.

Helen Webber

Amazing, fresh sushi. The best in town! The staff is great, too!

Kyle Riley

Fresh fish, great portions for sushi and sashimi. Good Korean dishes also.

Brett Moler

Awesome owners and best sushi in the galaxy!

Michael Pasque

Best sushi in town, hands down! Innovative BIG rolls, good service, and fun atmosphere. Favorite of ours!

Jacob Ando

One of my Favorite spots in Billings, I've been going for years, and love the tempura.

maria snyder

Excellent creativity with rolls. Family friendly!

Bill F

Great sushi, great service

Thomas Wilcox

Some of the best korean food I have had sense I lived in Korea, the kimchi is amazing and the spicy pork is some of the best I have had. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and is fun, the staff is friendly and goes out of their way to help the patron.

Daniel Calli

Amazing food and great service

helal al-ganem

Cozy asian restaurant. Not crowded usually. They also have a bar

Ben Border

Great sushi. Worst service ever.

Jungle Jim

just returning the love

DeVan Blake

My fiance and I LOVE this place! The rolls are HUGE, yet packed with awesome flavor and fresh taste! The NaRa is family owned and operated, and each person plays a vital role in providing by FAR the best sushi in Billings (and I have tried them all)! Oh ya, and they DON'T charge extra for Sriracha,so I am not sure what the hell the guy was talking about in one of the previous reviews (probably the owner of another local sushi chain or something...). lol If you want AWESOME food, this is the place to go!

Andy Pirami

The rolls are the biggest and the best in town! No, the best in the country!!! If you love sushi you have to go to NaRa. You can’t go wrong

Darrell Madill

Best Indian food in town. Lunch buffet is Great and priced right. Nice, quaint family run restaurant.

Joe Sienkiewicz

Love it is a understatement ....this food is so so so so good....I just hat the pleasure in trying a new dish of cook pork of lettuce and rice with raw green onions with thin slices or hot peppers over it ... this was a thing of beauty. .. how this place seem to amaze me more everytime I come in.... flat out amazing ... I mean out of the freaking world amazing... there should be a line out the door and down the road .... this is a family run business that clearly shows...the food and the world class treatment you get from the working staff is just wonderfully great... hands down you will never find a better place...

Joel Kosta

Always great! Try the Elvis! You won't be disappointed.

Bill Grunstead

Super good food!

Bryan Rask

Not only my favorite sushi place in Billings, my fav in several states. Nara is more than just great food, it's a great experience. From the always changing and always creative menu, the sushi chef Dae provides an awesome place where it's just like "Cheers". Bringing people together.

Harvey Stewart

If you enjoy sushi this is the place to eat! Their new hot menu items are excellent as well!

Paul Kane

As always, food is great.

Chauvoni Cooke

I’m giving 3 stars but honestly, as someone who knows sushi, I would not personally return. What we liked: **Great high quality fish** The abundance of fresh fish on rolls (tons!) Great service Good atmosphere The Seared tuna the spicy tuna/tiny tim roll The warm saki Creativity of the chef What we didn’t like: Every other menu option seemed to contain jalapeños and/or cream cheese ~overpowering The proportions of food just seemed off.. (tiny amounts of additional elements/veggies/sauce/etc to the roll compared to the amount of fish they serve), but it doesn’t produce the desired effect because every other flavor is overpowered or missing. (Thank goodness we like sashimi because the fish is all we could taste) The Rainbow roll is usually our favorite roll at sushi restaurants, and though this roll is generously covered in fish, it is not a rainbow roll. (Why not just name it something different and serve it as another option people can enjoy?) we were disappointed there’s nothing but cucumber inside

Chris Pugrud

Fantastic sushi, reasonable prices, and friendly staff. I eat lunch here about once a month and really enjoy the variety of rolls when I'm feeling adventurous. When I'm not feeling adventurous the quality of the sashimi is excellent. Good seafood in a landlocked state is not easy, but Nara does it exceptionally well.

Greg Rollins

Seriously the best Sushi I have found all over the US! Get the Poke!

Slim Hitman

Excellent flavor and presentation of the food. Dont let the outside of the building fool you!

Tania Kenner

It's taken me a year to get around to trying their sushi lunch special. #disgusting

Mark Nitz

Sushi here is great! The standards are done right, and there is an imaginative list of unusual rolls. The entrees are very good, and there are quite a few choices. Pretty standard drink selections (other than a few import beer optuons), but that's not the reason to visit; it's all about the food!

Justin Helms

Fantastic food and super service. The waitress when I was there gave me recommendations and she was spot on. The tea was great, the seafood chun was fantastic and she was spot on with her service. Definitely a place I will be returning to.

That Guy

decent, ok pricing, long wait but it was valentines day so i cant blame them for being crowded.

Adam Johnson

Food was great, the service was slow.

James Rindahl

Excellent food

jason jaynes

Only place to get great sushi in town

Kristene Bogle

Love the experience Dae, his family, and employees give. Sushi is top notch also!

Mandy Mackenzie

Hands down, best sushi you'll ever eat.

Amelia Sinclair

A++++ Love the Johnny Cash and Whatever roll

Bob Flaminio

For sushi in Montana, it wasn't bad.

Siddhartha Abdelchenko

Stopped by here on a business trip. It's a very cozy place, maybe a bit on the smaller side as far as the interior. That aside, the food was good. I've seen some reviews say its the best sushi place in Montana, and I wouldn't doubt it.

Jennifer Wenger

The food is always delicious. The atmosphere is so friendly and inviting. By far the best place in Billings to get sushi. The servers are always so kind and willing to help. There is always good music playing. The restaurant is cozy and welcoming perfect if you don’t want to go somewhere big and extremely open. I have never once left the restaurant disappointed or unhappy. I’ll always recommend this restaurant and will keep coming back for more. Thank you Nara for the food you make!

Justin Lindh

The menu on the web is wrong. There's no Korean food, aside from kimchi (which is decent, actually). The menu in the restaurant is also wrong, as most of the listed appetizers aren't available. The service was not very friendly, but was fast. The sushi was mediocre, at best... beware any sushi joint that offers $25 all you can eat sushi. This was a really, really bad dining experience and I will never return.

nathan may

Favorite sushi place in billings

Anpnymppse

Love this place. You must try the rollin red. It's to die for.

Paul Hoffmann

Nara has changed a lot since my first visit to eat there in 2008. It’s walls were simple and aesthetically pleasing. The owners were busy, lively and personable. They would sit and visit with you like they and you were just ordinary people sharing a great meal together. You could get pretty much a slab of fresh salmon on rice for $32.00! And it was buttery fresh and delicious. So good Fast forward to 2018 and the decor has changed, flashy and fabulous, hipster shiek. The regulars seem just as hip and distant. The food seems huried and not as involved as it once was, more made for speed than quality. The lady at the door, who was Dae’s wife was inviting and friendly, full of smiles and warmth has now been replaced by yet another dissatisfied hipster pretending to love her job. The sushi is mediocre and not what it used to be. I could name a better place that closely reminds me of the first time I had sushi at Nara, but I don’t want it to turn into another hipster hangout. Overall, today was the first time in over a year that I had had NARA sushi, and I can say without a doubt, it will be well over a year until I waste my money on it again. My head is hanging low as I write this. It used to be our celebratory place to eat..... Quality wasn’t questioned and everything was on point. I will remember them the way they used to be.

Ryen Thomsen

The best sushi in Billings! Dustin is truly an artist visually and for the taste buds as well! It's our go to place for date night and they never disappoint! I encourge one and all to go get #sushiwasted

Dharma Mcryhew

Very yummy sushi

Alice Eceap

It is always very tasty.

Yogi DuhBahr

The waitress was friendly, however the entree, which was brought out at the same time as the salad and miso soup, was found to be just okay, overpriced, and served in a rather bland atmosphere. Left feeling underwhelmed and unimpressed.

Lance Laubach

Food was good. Service could've been better.

Johnny Earley

One of my favorites. Sushi in a land locked state used to be a sketchy venture, but Nara has consistently delivered quality food ever since I was a kid. Great portions, quality product with a real friendly environment. I love this place.

Jeremy Marquart

Totally delicious!

Michael Cook

Very good!

Caleb Nelsen

Fantastic sushi. Best in Billings.

Brian Lee

One of the best spots for sushi in town. Also one of the few that serves Korean food.

Ryan R

Wow, came in for the first time because I heard it was so good, an that will be the last. Had the worse service I've ever had!!!!!!!! Definitely might want to consider getting a better server!!!! Had the chicken teriyaki, had a very odd presentation, had 0 flavor an was very dry. Way over priced for what you get!

Traci Jordan

Delicious food and great atmosphere!!!

Kenzie Mulconery

Absolutely amazing. Best sushi in Montana hands down!

Carl Sgrignoli

Absolutely the best sushi in town!

James Holmes

going back for sure next time i am in Billings!

Jacob speakerworth

The food was great and the server was very helpful and patient.

Ashton Berta

I was in town for a business trip and am a big fan of sushi, so my coworkers directed me here. The atmosphere is really great, I sat at the bar and talked to the chef for probably three hours over the course of my meal and the evening. Sushi is great, the rolls are large and very fresh tasting, the nigiri is really good as well. Dave is awesome, he loves his work and what he does, and he is a really intriguing person to talk to. I planned on coming back and eating there again, but my trip was cut short. I will definitely come back when I find myself in Billings again.

erich ackerman flores

Unfortunately, Nara was unremarkably average. Coming from someone who has been spoiled by eating sushi in Vegas and L.A., Nara didn't meet the mark. First off, it's not located in a very nice area. The tracks and a used car dealership are right by, and the building looks to be in need of paint. Not very pretty. There was only one waiter... One. Although the building is small enough to where one waiter could work. The prices are high for what you get, too. The miso was unlike most miso soups that I've had, in that it lacked solid chunks of tofu and any significant amount of vegetables. The flavor was ok. The spicy tuna roll was decent to ok. Nothing special but definitely edible. The nigiri was ok bordering on bad. The fish tasted slightly off. Also, the lack of an AYCE option isn't ideal, but I suppose that's a good idea to exclude that here in Billings, lol. Overall, my experience wasn't great. Decent for Billings and for someone who hasn't had sushi before but unremarkable for me.

Jessica Delaney

The rolls are huge which to some can be a problem to others a joy. Either way, they are delicious. I go here for the Korean food though. It's the only place in town to get some. I was really disappointed the last few times I've been in as they didn't have the dwengjeongjiggae, Korean spicy miso soup. It is my favorite with rice and kimchi. I suppose they don't get a ton of orders since Montana hasn't found the joy of Korean food yet but I really miss it.

Emily Belgarde

Its very good. Although the location is small and the prices are a bit high, its very good. And they do have very good specials which helps

Jay Zygmond

Excellant Food....

Breanne Barton

The sushi was decent but not amazing, and everything was very pricy. The cheapest roll still costs like $12. So after ordering some expensive sushi, my boyfriend waited for an hour and a half before getting our food!! I will not be going back to this place. Fancy Sushi isn't too far away and is 100 times better, faster, and more realistically priced.

Greg Aldrich

Clean and a very good place to eat

Craig Edick

Tempura vegetables are amazing.

Rachel Zane

Best sushi in Billings... Hands down!

Keith Lavachek

The best Asian, by far. Always a treat

Hunter Johnson

Best sushi in Billings

Tes Mercier

They have the most amazing sushi!!

Adam Rutt

Best sushi in billings

Lyn Revesz

Amazing service

Sarah Robbin

Sushi special and happy hour was great. Rolls are awesome!

stacie jorgenson

Always great food!

Loren Ellis

Food was mediocre, but not terrible. Ambience was strange: weird smell and strange diner music.

Jonathan Liudahl

Sushi was the bomb dot com but I had a concern with some of my food being cold and others being warm. Generally fish should stay cold until it is consumed. Prices were super high. They do have a decent option for a lunch combo. Was not all that impressed with this visit.

Justene Marie

One of my favorite places in town! Amazing specialty rolls, along with everything else I've ever tried there! I highly recommend this restaurant!

Ryann Fradenburgh

Good Sushi, Lot's of options, Beer and Wine

Jeff Holden

I spent the last three years in Portland OR and have eaten chicken teriyaki from at least a couple dozen restaurants. Chicken teriyaki is easy and inexpensive to make so usually you get a very good serving size. In OR and WA, $8 will get you enough for two good sized meals. I am in town on business and this was the only place advertising chicken teriyaki. I went to pick up my to go order and the bag felt nearly empty. I opened it up and there was a small scoop of rice and about half a chicken breast. The worst part was it was $12 and not even very tasty. Epic fail.

derek jurovich

Really really good sushi rolls. By sheer weight and volume you will be lucky to finish 1 roll. The smoked salmon in the Niagara roll is wonderful. Smokey deliciousness. This is Montana sized sushi and the price was also XL weighing in at 20.95 for a fancy roll. But you can split that fancy roll between two people. Service was myeh and parking was difficult so all in all a 4.5 stars rounded down.

Daniel Bisso

Sushi is good. The staff is great! I didn't love the salmon rolls, hence the 4 stars....a bit fatty and really not amazing, but this was an off menu order so that could be the reason. On the contrary, their spicy tuna is really good! We order it often and I've always appreciated how they prepare their rolls.

Daniel Swanson

I wish I could give this place 5 stars, because it really is the absolute best sushi in Billings, but the quality of the service here is just awful. They usually have one waitress for the entire restaurant even on crowded evenings when there could easily be 12 tables. It can easily take 10 minutes to just get acknowledged by her, and then every time you need a beer it's another 10 minutes to catch her eye. It's truly horrendous. That being said.... it's amazing food. Expensive, but worth it. Never had a roll that was anything less than incredible. I will continue to come here but only when I'm in a very patient mood.
