Normally love this place. Ordered delivery (driver was quick and great!) Order was not correct. Buttery Garlic Broccoli was missing butter and garlic an mashed potatoes and gravy were missing potatoes. Bummer!!

We've been loving MT Jack's for years. However, the last three times we've visited we've had very poor service. One of these times we were sat and given menus, burr were completely overlooked for 45 minutes. No drinks, no nothing. We were offered a small comp when the manager finally noticed. The most recent visit we again had to wait 40 minutes to order our food. We finished eating and were waiting 30 minutes before our waitress checked in with us. We asked to close our ticket and she thankfully had the check ready to go. We waited 40 minutes before she came back to our table to run our card. Unfortunately, with a toddler in tow these wait times become agony. We will not be returning.

Great food. In fact for years I had my favorite place to get cheesecake and it even had fabulous topping which not a fan so it must be good. Montana Jack's is now my favorite place for Cheese cake. You know how very few restaurants don't give you a decent amount of food anymore? This places gives you more than enough especially regarding dessert, you get what you pay for here!

Great fair price food. Wait staff can be a little lackluster at times but most of the people there are friendly and polite. Portions have been getting steadily smaller over the years but they're still good size. Wait is almost never long to be seated and they get the food out to you even faster.

Not sure if every other review is talking about this restaurant or not but either way the service was fine. The food was only ok. Their "homemade" or "freshly made" products tasted like they came out of a can and either had water added to them or were simply heated up. The burgers and shrimp were good but the other sandwiches we ordered were overloaded with veggies as a filler and extremely low on meats. Also, this place was extremely over priced. I have not paid that much for my family meal where we didn't order steak or seafood! The family and I are always on the lookout for some place new to eat but this restaurant will not be making the list.

I take my lady there for breakfast when she's in town.. the service and seating is hit and miss.. depending on what day and time you go in.. I get the country skillet when I go and ask for double mushrooms.. every time I get the same amount.. guess places dont know what a mushroom lover is.. I gladly pay for them.. but dont get what I ask for...

What a pleasant surprise! Haven't been there for years but tried the buffet. It was delicious...the lasagna and chicken strips with that heavenly gravy not to mention the apple crisp...just right! The service was great even tho they were busy!

Breakfast here is very cheap, and plentiful. If you want a really high quality breakfast this is not your place. To be clear, I love eating there. Great place for kids due to kids menu and toy box by front door. Only gone for dinner once and was not impressed, so breakfast only for me.

Found this place on a cold snowy night after long day. The coconut flavored shrimp along with a great flat iron steak. Wonderful. Steak was flavorful and tender hard combination to get right with that cut. Salad bar was good as well. As I found throughout my week in Montana nice people great service. The waitress came running outside with my forgotten sunglasses in just short sleeves, wind chill below zero. Customer service excellent.

If I could give zero stars I would. The shift manager MICHAEL was extremely rude when I had called about an incorrect order. When I asked for his managers name he wouldn’t give it, then finally did. And said “go ahead, complain, that’s fine, I don’t care”

This is a typical Montana Causual Dining...There's dim Lighting, Sports or something on the TVs at the Bar with No Division between Them and the Dining area. There's a Separate Casino in Back. Staff are Great, several Younger, New or First Timers, but Never did I see them Not Trying to be Better. The Food is Average American fair, a little Spendy but Selection Adds to its Worth. Sunday Brunch is what Many People Flock to, I Didn't like the Cost/Selection Ratio and Ordered from the Menu. In the End I Wouldn't Dissuade anyone from from Going but it Wouldn't Be My 1st Pick (maybe 3rd)...

Great hearty breakfast with interesting unique takes on traditional dishes. Have the chorizo jalapeno gravy on one of the dishes you like with gravy or you'll regret it forever. Best biscuits & gravy I've heard in 25 years. Kids loved these pancakes & sausage. Service above & beyond. Our waitress knew what we wanted before we asked! Will come back every year during the NILE.

My family had never been to Montana at all, and this was our first stop (Billings). We checked into our hotel and the consierge suggested this when we said we wanted an "authentic Montana taste." We decided to check out the menu on our phones and were intrigued. We headed over and were seated right away. The waitress was helpful and suggested a few things and was able to answer the questions we had about certain menu items.

Well we went there to have what we was told an amazing buffet. When we got there the food on buffet was cold and too salty. The only good thing I had here was the hot fresh pancakes. The salad was nasty and tasted spoiled. The meat on the buffet was not cooked all the way and very dry. They did not have ham any more that was sad to say least but been nice if they offered it on side like they do with pancakes. The server was amazing I mean its not her fault about food but was very up beat and nice to have that well eating. I wish this place would offer us a refund cause we did not get close to what bill was in the cold food and all. We paid 35.00 for what was in my eyes the worse food in town. I not going to be back for awhile but if offered a refund or them to make this right I come back sooner. However I will give them a shoot down the road cause every one has a bad day or bad food or service and we just got that lucky to have it today and its sad cause we both was looking forward to this place. But over all I sure mangers will try and make this right if they even read this but until than we just have to live with the fact that this was a very poor place to eat a buffet at.

This is hands down the best food we have eaten In Billings. The burgers are amazing the BLT is loaded with bacon and the open faced roast beef sandwich has a rich gravy that's made in house. The onion rings are fresh made too! Well worth the moneym!

Service was great! Nice family atmosphere.Crispy Cheddar Bites with Ranch were fabulous. Beer was a little on the warm side, but still drinkable. If I had to find one thing negative, it would be that I ordered my burger well done, and it was still pink. Aside from that though, I would go back and eat there again.

I really dislike when a place changes their menus all the time!! You like or want something and go back for more and gone!! One example....They use to have a seafood platter type with fish, shrimp, and clams. Now they changed it to just the fish and shrimp. I have had good and bad service but I always kept coming back because I really liked their menu options. Now I wont be coming in as much since they have changed their menu.
