The waitress we had was great. The food however is NOT Chinese food. I don’t know where their chef learned to cook. The pork is boiled and then coated and flash fried, the fried rice is nothing but cooked plain white rice tossed with soy sauce. The sweet and sour sauce tastes like it’s from a can is the consistency of slime that you would make with your kids. The Crab Rangoon is tasteless. Chicken is boiled and has a rubbery consistency. Nothing here is authentic. Never returning.

You guys... I don’t give a 5 star review very often... but this place absolutely deserves it!!! Right through the door the staff was so kind and friendly and warm. Our food was at our table LITERALLY five minutes after we ordered it and we custom ordered both plates! We got pork lo mein and non-spicy orange chicken and I have never had anything that can even compare to how good that chicken was. Every member of staff genuinely thanked us for coming in on our way out the door. The restaurant itself is so clean and has a great atmosphere to it. I can not recommend this place enough!!!

By far mine and my Husbands favorite restaurant in Pendleton. Fresh and delicious Chinese food for a fair price. Portions are large and the staff is very friendly. The one thing I would steer away from, just as I would any restaurant in Eastern Oregon, is seafood as it can tend to be a bit fishy in flavor and be frozen opposed to fresh. While this should be expected it is of note.

Being new in town and wanting to eat some Chinese we stumbled across the Jade Garden. Although the parking lot needs repair the inside of the restaurant was top-notch clean and the food was to die for. The guy that waited on us was actually the manager of the restaurant he treated us very very well. His name was Jason. All I can say about this place is the food was absolutely great the serving side was size was absolutely great and I would definitely go back there again I highly recommend this place for Chinese food. The food came out very fast.

When I go to eat Chinese food, I order a large meal because I have a delicious lunch the next day. I had the Sweet and Sour Chicken, the Chicken FRied Rice, and 2 Egg Rolls. My husband ordered one of their combo meals and both of us had the left overs later that night and for lunch the next day. The restaurant was pleasant, clean, the staff were attentive and friendly, and the food was delicious. Going to Jade Garden was casual and we will definitely go back.

I love the food and the service. I’ve never had a bad experience dining in. Also, feel their prices could be a little more reasonable it’s almost 10 bucks for one container of food...However, when I order food for delivery it takes forever. They 30-40 min and it took them an hour and 20 min. Then the lady arrives and she delivers from her personal car (which I don’t mind and she’s a super sweet gal) however, her car is a wreck. Trash and perfume, clothes everywhere. I wouldn’t want my food sitting in that and it’s unprofessional. But the positive side is my food was still hot and delicious.

I think I am being generous with the 3 star review and it's mostly because the people here are very nice and the food is not awful. I think the food is just ok, the prices are not too bad and they usually have specials during the week. I think it's sometimes hard to rate a restaurant because I travel so much and I tend to compare to what I have experienced and maybe not totally what is in the area or region. For example; this restaurant would be one star if compared to a Chinese restaurant from NY, Philly or the Bay Area. But compared to what's available in the area I give them 3 stars due to the food being ok/good.

If I had the ability to give this so-called restaurant no stars whatsoever, I would. How would you like this to happen to you: Tonight I ordered a number six combination dinner that never came. Nope. I ordered a number six, chicken and mushrooms noodles, ice cream and a Mountain Dew. I am staying at a motel here in Pendleton, tonight. After I gave and she cleared my order over the phone, I waited...and then the delivery person gave me the noodle thing, the soda and a teeny tiny cup of ice cream. No combo. I paid twenty dollars. I called the woman to clear up the order and she hung up on me. I wonder if the place actually belongs to the Chamber of Commerce. Is this how business is done in Pendleton?

Since reopening we have been there twice. The table service was great. The server was pleasant and attentive. The food was of the same quality as before. The only changes we noticed were a new floor covering, and new seating covers. Don't know why it took almost a year to reopen. The prices have increased, changes in the menu selections were not an improvement. No egg roll included with your meal any longer. I don't care for their "Bowl" items. No longer our go to place for our dinner night out. Closed to long, not any meaningful improvements to justify the higher cost and smaller portions.

This restaurant definitely is the rich, deeply flavored version of Chinese food. The egg flower soul is one of my favorite soup of all time. The almond butter chicken sauce is guilty pleasure to the max. The Canton noodles have wonderful flavor but I don't love the quality of chicken they use in the dish. This is one of my favorite Helena restaurants and I love visiting it when we are in town!

Went on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. The food was good. The new interior was nice. The new staff and procedures need considerable work. Saw several examples of instances where either more training was needed, or better management was needed, or where the employee was simply not up to their job. We were disappointed and will give them another chance in a month or so with the hope that this restaurant will be more than a carry out option.

As another review stated the outside looks pretty shabby, but inside it is decent. The waiter is very nice and doesn't try to rush you at all. This is by far the best Chinese restaurant in this town. The interior is nicely decorated and clean restroom. I have only taken food to go here but the first time I ordered I checked out the facilities while waiting. The only suggestion I have is perhaps offering a glass of water while I waited because it was really hot outside, I didn't want to ask because I wasn't dining in. I would recommend this place to a tourist.

I just came from the restaurant. The taste is dissapointing which makes me wonder if they have any REAL chinese influence. I was most upset about the fact that I was being charged extra for rice that is included with my entree. I spoke with the manager and he was absolutely no help. I have been to many chinese restaurants and this one is at the bottom of totem pole. Felt like they were trying to take advantage of me.

I've ate here twice and each time I've gotten extremely sick. I ordered wonton soup once and the broth was disgusting, I had to strain the wontons and put it in regular chicken broth. The broth was literally just a ton of oil mixed with soy sauce and maybe some beef broth. The food is not good.

Servers were very slow, and continued to forget us. The people around us all ordered after us, and got their food long before. We were a bit concerned, because the food the table next to us ordered smelled inedible, it took us a long moment to realize it was the food next to us, not something else... When we got our food, the dish I ordered was incredibly bland. I ordered Moo Goo with Tofu, as a vegetarian dish (which is offered). I have never eaten such a completely bland dish, carrots normally have flavor; the plain white rice was more flavorful. To top it off, I found several pieces of chicken in my supposedly "made to order" vegetarian dish. Others at my table found their food to be acceptable, so it gets 2 stars not 1. The prices are quite high for dinner, averaging around $14/$15 for mediocre (at best) food.

Food was decent but when we got the bill we found that they overcharged everyone at our table and then wouldn't refund the amount overcharged. They put us off for nearly 45 minutes thinking we would just go away and we finally got the overage refunded after almost an hour of arguing with them. We will never go back nor do I recommend anyone eat at this establishment! If you do, check you bill twice and pay with cash!!

Still looking for a good chinese place in Helena, dont think that will happen. First off, as we were waiting to be seated, the servers are having to go to the front counter to charge cards and get cash, which is so inconvenient for everyone (including workers) there. One lady at the desk was also NOT professional and was rude. It took 40 mins for us to be seated on a Friday night and I noticed that people who had gotten in after us were being seated before us. Our server was very kind and attentive though. Food was OK, arguably the worst chinese I've had. Food was tasteless, roast pork was freezer burned and discolored, and wayyyy too much sauce. I think this place is also overpriced for the portions. Chinese food isnt expensive to make but charging $17-$19 for an entree is insane. This perspective is coming from a foodie who is used to NY chinese food which is absolutely amazing. I wouldnt go back here though despite how busy it is (which I thought was a good sign).

First time eating there and I wasn’t very impressed. The egg rolls and shrimps were doughy and there were still leaves on the broccoli. The portions were huge though. Just the egg rolls, shrimps and broccoli beef were not good. I think with more effort they could be really great.

If you want poor service and to listen to 3 Chinese women banter back in forth in there native language, way louder than the music, be my guest, food was ok nothing great. Pork egg roll was meatless all cabbage and grease, we were getting ready to leave when she the waitress finally came to see how we were doing, sat there for 15 min with drinks. And there was only 1 other couple there. Stood at the counter to pay For 5 min while the one waitress sat at a booth and waved at us with a smile. Not a place I recommend. 0 tip. If the food was bad and service was good I would tip. Never again

Excellent soup, by far my favorite so far!! Food was excellent, crab puffs couldn’t be better, and the staff was super friendly. Highly recommend!! It’s not appealing if you want a fancy restaurant, but if you’re to good to eat at a cozy hole in the wall then get it delivered

Typical "American" chinese food. They do add fresh elements and make sure everything isn't too greasy. The chow mein is the best. Love the additon of the zuchinni. Best Chinese place in Pendleton for sure.

I used to work at Jade Garden and I got personally escorted to my mom who was waiting for me by the owner today. I haven't been over there since February so it was really nice seeing how smoothly things are still flowing! Always amazing food. They even have tofu now for us that don't like meat. I wonder if they have vegan options?
