Love the egg rolls and soup. My wife can never get enough of the tea. I order sweet and sour chicken with egg fried rice, share it's a large portion, and set for the entire evening. I would say perfect place for older family gatherings and get together with friends or coworkers and dinner dates. I usually see large groups come in with no waiting time at all. Great food and great calm atmosphere. Wife and I tend to go here our selves but occasionally see families with kids.

Awesome food. The only good place in town for a ramen when it’s on the menu, plus great variety of other dishes. Service is fantastic, nice atmosphere, fair prices, and easy location for parking. This is the best Asian restaurant in town and also in the top for creative and modern dishes in general.

Convient place to meet friends/family who have been shopping in the Rimrock Mall area. Not fast food so good place to take a break from a hectic day. So rewarding to see past students enjoying life and passionate about what they’re doing! Outta this world food from Kalvin Tang at JP Kitchen! Ordered takeout and while I waited I ordered a glass of wine and the waitress gave me some miso soup. The cream cheese wontons are to die for so amazing. It was great food and served us for 2 meals.

We ordered potstickers, shaking beef, and s&s chicken. It was served with miso soup and steamed rice. Everything was fresh and tasty. The sauces on both dishes were restrained (just right). The beef and chicken were top quality and cooked to the right degree of fineness. The table next to us ordered the bacon fried Brussels sprouts which my d-I-l had recommended and they looked fantastic. The arrangement of the seating is rather awkward so if you are looking for a romantic, intimate setting this is not it. The restaurant was also cold. I ended up wearing my coat during our meal. We will definitely be going back.

Wonderful friendly fast service. Clean settings. HOT FRESH SERVINGS! Simply a wonderful experience. We will return frequently. The gentle ginger flavoring of shrimp, the spicy beef, the perfectly cooked rice, the zest on the chicken wings, and light crisp wonton pastry- I could not have enjoyed the meal any more than I did. Kudos!

Also the garlic chicken noodles are awesome and family favorite. Terrific staff. Very fun to watch the foods being prepared. Fun atmosphere! Love the seasonal offerings! All is very fresh and well prepared!

I don't want to bash this place but I have to be honest about my experience. I also acknowledge that part of my negativity is subjective and others may not feel the same but this is my take not anyone else's. I ordered the Spring rolls, the "Fried Brussels,"and the "Twice Cooked Pork" while my buddy ordered the "Mongolian Beef. " The Spring rolls were perfectly fried but might as well have been empty for the lack of flavor. The dipping sauce was the only thing that saved the dish but it was too vinegary compared to every other nuoc mam cham I've ever had. The Brussels sprouts were pretty good with a nice amount of char but the sauce was more sweet than spicy as it was supposed to be. The bacon in them was pretty good and is a nice segue into the twice cooked pork. The menu said it was pork belly that was roasted then fried but the fat was not rendered and was chewy not tender and crispy as it should have been. Also, the sauce was not that pleasant with a more sour than sweet taste and the rest of the dish was undercooked purple cabbage that was as unpleasant to look at as it was to eat. My buddy's beef dish was also just ok but he barely ate any of it, a clear sign it wasn't very good. I tried it but it was kinds flat and there was no salt on the table. Again, I really hate to give a bad review and I'm sure other menu items are good just not what we ordered I'm afraid. Addendum: I got a really nice and prompt response from the staff at J P Kitchen and would just like to say to them that I have every intention of coming back as there were at least a couple of other items on the menu I wanted to try last night. I was a bit disappointed that you only offer the ramen at lunch time as I work too far away from you to ever get a chance to come try it, but since it seems you change the menu occasionally, perhaps you'll consider putting it on the dinner menu at some point. Otherwise, thank you for the response and for realizing that it was not my intent tospeak ill of your business but simply to share my experience and I hope that you can use my feedback to your advantage. I look forward to my next visit and to trying some of the other items on the menu. Oh, and that reminds me, our server last night (didn't get her name) did not tell us about your specials and we were seated too quickly (if there is such a thing...lol) after arriving for me to read all of the specials board. Perhaps a bit of training is in order there. IJS. Thanks.

Fantastic. Had the Orange Zesty Chicken for lunch today. Loved it. Had a hard time waiting to get back to the office to open up the bag it smelled so good. Spring rolls were awesome as well. Very friendly on the phone and when I picked it up. Sorry no picture as it was gone =)

The best shrimp fried rice I have ever had! I've been to many Asian restaurants throughout San Francisco and Los Angeles, this dish was not greasy, and had a healthy taste plus the shrimp were huge and seasoned just right. My only gripe was the Orange zest chicken, it was quite salty and didn't carry the Orange zest flavor very far (most likely due to the high salt content), but I'm not gonna knock it too hard because the shrimp fried rice made up for it! I don't want to forget to mention the cream cheese wontons, delish! I could tell they were handmade. One thing is I wish they had a chicken or beef potsticker/dumpling option, my wife won't eat pork and as healthy as I eat, I don't want to be a fatty ordering everything on their menu. One thing I wasn't too crazy about was the take out boxes, I think the small box type are easier to eat with leftovers the next day, I found that the wide takeout box was awkward to eat out of and kinda a mess. But we will be back either way because I could tell walking in here, that the food was fresh and the servers care about their customers experience. 15% Military Discount!
