I don't like leaving bad reviews, I usually just don't go back if I didn't like it, but I feel the need to say that this might be the worst Chinese food I've ever had, and it's not cheap! For 3 people takeout we spent 50 dollars. The orange , and seseme chicken was absolutely flavorless, and just a mushy mess. Even the fried rice was bland and gross. Our order was also wrong. I really wish we didn't spend 50 dollars on this terrible food!

I was there with family the service was very good the food was very good but when my brother went to pay the hostess she answered the phone and stayed on the phone and east taking care of the transaction so for her not paying attention to the bill she had to ask questions I personally I thought it was very rude

Horrible. Trying to do sushi and don't have fresh fish. Ordered the Dynamite Roll that is one of my favs at Fancy Sushi Asian Fusion and couldn't eat it here. Neither me or my boyfriend ate more than one piece. He had the sweet and sour shrimp that was the best of our meals tasted ok but was a little doughy on the inside. I had the curry which had little broth tons of carrots that tasted old a chicken. The flavor wasn't bad but much better at Siam Thai or Imperial Thai. Much better places to eat than here. Don't waste your time and money.

Perhaps the worst Asian food I have ever eaten. I tried to keep an open mind eating the yellow curry, but could find nothing good about it. All five of my sushi’s tasted suspicious. It was delivery, so could not get a refund. I usually do not take the time to review food, but I had to share this experience.

Love the egg rolls and soup. My wife can never get enough of the tea. I order sweet and sour chicken with egg fried rice, share it's a large portion, and set for the entire evening. I would say perfect place for older family gatherings and get together with friends or coworkers and dinner dates. I usually see large groups come in with no waiting time at all. Great food and great calm atmosphere. Wife and I tend to go here our selves but occasionally see families with kids.

Awesome upscale setting with really fresh food. Tastes much better than other Asian places. A little more high end, but I went for lunch and there were lunch specials at a decent price. The waiter was professional and very nice.

if I could give negative stars I would. ordered through door dash was eating a roll and found a big piece of plastic in it. called the restaurant and they said yes that happens and did absolutely nothing. My 1 year old was eating with me it was a big enough piece that she could have completely choked and it cause serious problems for her the lady on the phone told me not to give the baby my food. will never eat from ge again first and last time

Horrible customer service!!! They dont care about messed up orders. They will put someone argumentative on the phone to tell you how wrong you are. Dont ever have it delivered. One time will taste good and the next time will make you sick, and the fish wont smell fresh. I highly recommend fancy sushi. Amazing service ALWAYS!!!! Never again for this place.

Terrible customer service just ordered a delivery and the driver didn't give us a receipt and gave me the wrong change and pocketed a 5$ tip without asking then when I opened my food they didn't give me sweet and sour sauce for my sweet and sour chicken and when I called they said that they didn't have a delivery driver to bring me the sweet and sour sauce completely ridiculous. Couldn't eat my dry fried chicken without sauce and they wouldnt refund me or bring me sauce and I had no ride to the store.

Placed order online for delivery. Received an order confirmation immediately. Waited for an hour and called just to make sure order was o.k. The gal told me it was on the way. Waited for another half hour and called back to see if there was a problem. The lady proceeded to argue with the kitchen with me on the phone in Chinese and eventually came back to me and told me "I don't see order". I asked her what do you mean you don't see order? She told me again "I don't see order. I guess this was her way of telling me that she didn't respond to my order that was placed on line. There was no apology, no I'm sorry we missed your order, no nothing. I said just forget the order then. Needless to say we were not too happy at this point. The lady on the phone was very unfriendly and sounded like she could of cared less if they were the ones that made a mistake or not. Never again Golden Phoenix.

$13 per person for a buffet that was seriously lacking. To start, the wonton soup was a mushy and doughy mess with water chestnuts. The crab Rangoon was just a bunch of undercooked thick dough and no inside. The spring rolls were undercooked and mushy in the middle. The green beans had good flavor but nothing is marked for spicy so be careful if you can't do heat, as you'll be drowning your mouth with whatever beverage you can find. And dessert is a joke: stale pastries or canned pudding. The ice cream machine is out of order so don't think that was even an option. Finally, the temperature was overly warm and the waitresses were one boob slip from being classy trashy.

One of my favorite Chinese food restaurants in town. They have a really nice, large buffet that they replenish well. And if you order off the menu, the good is cooked fresh and very large portions. It is also a good restaurant for large groups and they have wide spaces for handicap accessibility.

At one time this was a great place to eat. Now the food is cheap and nasty. Sesame chicken on buffet is just chicken nuggets in sauce, (just like you get at McDonalds) Sweet and sour pork was nothing but gristle and fat and rice was cold. Buffet is definitely not worth the price. Won't go back again.

This place is AWFUL!! I ordered house Lomé in, sesame chicken, Mongolian beef , beef broccoli, 2 orders crab angles and 2 orders egg rolls which cost $85.30 or more. They sent 3 fortune cookies!! Only 1 and a half small containers of fried rice. The food WSU’s not taste good and was cold. I called to let them know at first being nice. The lady was rude and asked WHAT MY PROBLEM I said both food quality and quantity. She said I LIAR . I asked for manager and she refused. She said she filled order and MUCH MORE THERE ME SHOULD HAPPY . I said that I was DONE with them and will NEVER EVER return

Maybe it's the nostalgia, maybe it's the MSG, but I love this place. You need to understand this is not haughty food, this is food, food. It can be greasy, and it can be considered American Chinese food. These aren't bad things. I've paid twice as much for half as good food from fancier Asian restaurants. If your meal is more about an elevated dining experience, you are not going to love golden Phoenix. If you're like me and the quality of the food is determined by the satiation and overall taste, I think you will find an overall enjoyable experience.

The golden Phoenix restaurant used to have very good food. They have changed the menu and eliminated the spice from their dishes. I mentioned it to a waitress and she indicated many clients have complained. I mentioned it to the manager on the way out and she appeared irritated that I would make a comment. Unfortunately I won't be going back. The restaurant is however very clean.

Horrible service! Being from Texas with much larger Chinese restaurants, and much more business. This by far is the worst. Rude doesn't begin to describe how the waitstaff is. Buffet doesn't go into the night, and most afternoons there is no buffet. Peppered Stake should be Bell Pepper with a very small, miniscule piece of steak. Ridiculous! If I could give No star I would with no hesitation.
