Something changed here. Authentic, I say Not! Maybe new ownership or management. They used to be awesome and authentic but, now they have cheapened it up so bad, and to top it off they jacked the price up! They are using store bought taco shells and chips, there salsa is plain nasty. They are charging 3.99 for a little side of pico de gaio or fries! They were short staffed when we were there so the waiter was stressed out . Spent way to much money here. Wo t do it again.

Tell you what, the service isnt the greatest (it isnt the worst either though!). I'd say this is the textbook-definition of "Okay place to go." Meaning, if you have people visiting you from out of town and time is limited, then this is not the Mexican place you'd want to show them. But if it's just you and you need a quick fix of Mexican food then this place is a fair option on the table.

I just went there for a quick and easy dinner on a slower Monday night. I decided to have ground beef nachos. They come with beans which I didn’t want and no beef. I send them back to add beef. They come back with plastic melted into the cheese. I got as far as putting a chip with melted plastic on it in my mouth before realizing I was served nachos with plastic in them. F this place, it was our favorite Mexican spot in town and now they’ll never see us again.

In search of tamales not made with pork we tried them out. It is a casino restaurant, some are good, some are freezer to fryer to table. This was the latter. The meal was not the best quality but it was something to eat that was palatable. The beans were lacking in substance and flavor but the portions were good. Service and atmosphere were nice. Price was more substantial than it was worth.

Stopped at Fiesta En Jalisco driving to Sea-Tac airport from Spokane. It's an easy off/on from I-90. Very pleasant servers. Pretty expansive menu, beer/wine available. I enjoyed a taco-enchilada combo with an Amber Dos Equis cerveza.

I can't see giving more than a 1 star review as going here was a complete waste of my time! There is a please wait to be seated sign to the right of the entrance. And we waited and waited,I yelled out to the workers conversating in the kitchen area multiple times, called the phone number multiple times and we waited. A little more than a half hour possibly 40 minutes. We were completely ignored. Kinda felt like on purpose as I am a loud person and I was yelling as loud as I could HELLO HELLO HOLA HOLA with enthusiasm, to no avail. We quenched our hunger on a dish of chocolate mints setting next to the cash register, the one I could've blown up with 20 sticks of dynamite, without someone acknowledging . Crazy!

Their service was horrible and their food was worse... I would feel bad trying to get a stray dog to eat this trash. They charged $26.11 for fajitas and a drink I am not quite sure how they managed to get a 4 star rating -- they probably got their good reviews from their family. I will not be returning and strongly discourage anyone thinking about eating here.

But Good news is they gave a big portion of food. It looks double than other restaurant. But sometimes this price will be feel too much for just first time visit this restaurant on the way trip. The food is great, and the staff is very friendly, with the exception of the gentleman waiter. He has a tendency to be rude, and seems to be intimidating to the waitresses. Other than that Fiesta En Jalisco is a great place for genuine Mexican food. It's worth the risk of dealing with a rude waiter. Ask for one of the ladies, they're great! Very knowledgeable about the menu, and very friendly.

As soon as my wife and I were seated, the waitress took about 5 minutes or so to bring out some chips and salsa, and our drinks we ordered. We could overhear her chatting with coworkers while we sat at the booth for her to come around and order which took about another 5 minutes. Mind you, there were only 2 other families there when we arrived, which upset us even more. After receiving poor service from the waitress, our food came out and my wife's quesadilla was soggy and my burrito was a lot smaller than I was expecting. Coming from San Diego, I've got to say that I've definitely had better Mexican food, and even by Great Falls standards, Fiesta En Jalisco is barely average at best.

Ellensburg is not the best known place in the USA for authentic ethnic cuisine. Personally, I think it is a challenge to obtain authentic ingredients in central Washington state, which is prohibitive to home cooks as well restaurants. Fiesta En Jalisco is the closest you will find to authentic Mexican cooking. It is the only place I have found that has Horchata. The restaurant is family owned and managed, so you will get home cooking. They know what picco de gallo is and how to make it. Their wet burritos are the best you will find in town. Service is prompt, orders are accurate and the place is always clean. They also pick up their phone when it rings!! You will not be dissapointed in Fiesta En Jalisco.

Food is good. However ... Sign says they are open until 9. We arrived at about 8:10. We ordered drinks and a meal. Food came to table so fast that Ronald McDonald was put to shame and left the fast food biz. At 8:50 or so, we were promptly told "we're closed" and basically shown the door. Oh how we should have visited Ronald instead ... service with courtesy, $70 cheaper, and even an invitation for a carefree lengthy stay.

So I had the joy of eating at Fiesta An Jalisco today. My server's name was Mara and she played an awesome role in my experience here as I, being the indecisive person I am, couldn't make up my mind and she recommended the shredded chicken fiesta burrito. It was a generous portion that was out within just a few minutes of being ordered and tasted DELICIOUS. Thanks to the staff and particularly Mara for the great meal, this out-of-towner will most definitely put this establishment on my "return-to and recommend" list.

This place is a little smaller than most Mexican restaurants so something to consider during busier times. The food is good and the place is clean but bathrooms need an upgrade. The menu is big offering many options but the service was a little disappointing. Although I'm talking off points for restrooms and service, if you can live with that, this is a solid 3 if not better than that for the food.

I have been here twice. Once years ago and again a few days ago. Both times I asked about the Chile Relleno. Both times I was cautioned not to order it if I wanted a "traditional" Chili Relleno. This time I ordered the Arroz con Pollo. It was OK. There were too many onions and the sauce was not the best. The service is bright and friendly. The food came promptly. I will go here when friends prefer Fiesta En Jalisco. But I will go elsewhere when I am selecting the mexican restaurant.

Absolutely amazing! Everything from the salsa to the flan was really good. We tried a combo that had three of their shrimp/prawn dishes in it, and the Shrimp Cocktail. I was really surprised and would highly recommend this little gem of a restaurant. PROS: One of the things I noticed was the shredded cheese was freshly shredded right off the blocks and the flan was definitely homemade. CONS: the refried beans were a little bland, and seemed to be lacking body.

Hostile. I wanted to replace meat in a dish with some sauteed vegetables. Our polite waiter said okay and went around back. Another waitress/manager came out and started in on me that they don't do that and it would be extra so I needed to pay for it. I calmly explained again that I wanted a few veggies instead of the meat in case there had been miscommunication. She harshly repeated that it was extra and left in a huff. We left right after that. I'm fine if they don't do substitutions and there was no need for such a confrontation about it. Such behavior does not give me confidence about them preparing my meal and creates an atmosphere of hostility.

This is my my husbands favorite place to eat as he LOVES Carne Asada. There lunch menu is fabulous but doesn’t offer The Carne Asada on the menu during lunch. But, they have a decent sized lunch menu and it’s half the price of what the dinner menu is. Lunch was also served super fast. We ordered and had lunch in front of us in about 12 minutes. We got there around 12:20 on a Wednesday afternoon. Good place for lunch and it’s also fast.

For a place that was recommend by a doctor and nurse, I fully understand my resentment towards doctors. The food service and prices are all NOT worth a damn. Regardless of how much one pays for a meal, it is a given that the supply and demand system will prevail. This place should not even be allowed to claim anything Mexican or otherwise when it comes to food. I love tamales and the masa had been allowed to spoil at some point, as well as the refried beans. The next thing to top it all off was the bill. I ordered a meal and two Al a cart items. The bill arrived and I was charged for a complete second meal on my order and so was my guest. I brought all of these issues forward during my meal to the waitresses attention and asked for the manager or owner to come and discuss such with myself. Upon checking out the waitresses offered me a 10% discount. I left my phone number on the receipt and asked for the manager to call me, which has yet to happen. In my strongest advice....AVOID THIS PLACE, unless of course you believe there is more old doctors than old grumpy men who can set you straight on how the cow ate the cabbage.

Awful. We ate there because it had a 4.1 star rating at the time. Just ate there 15 minutes ago and it was an embarrassing excuse for a Mexican restaurant. Maybe that’s how Mexican restaurants are in Washington, but do yourself a favor... if your in the mood for Mexican, save some money and time and go to fast food place across the street.

Nothing authentic about this place, straight Tex-Mex. Big plate of flavorless slop. They could have put it in a blender and served it in a to go cup, and it would have been the same culinary experience.
