The best Cashew Chicken in America. I work for the railroad so everytime I was in Whitefish I would stop in for dinner at least once. Sadly, we moved back to Michigan and I will not be able to enjoy their superior cuisine anymore. Now in Battle Creek Michigan, I have yet to meet their equal with Cashew Chicken. No place in North Idaho could compare either, which is where we lived at the time .

Well, this was my first time here, and I did not leave with a good impression. It wasn't busy at all when I walked in the door at dinner time. I ordered some pot stickers, which were okay, and the House Special entree. It came out warm, not hot. That's not good, because I think hot dinners should be served hot, not just warm. The entree itself was okay, but not that great. I might be willing to give this place a try again sometime, see if it's any better the second time around. But for now, three stars is all I can give them.

The food at China Wall is good but the manager Jean was very rude when asked to make a dish for someone who has an allergy to wheat. I didn’t appreciate how difficult she made it for me to place an order. I ordered my food by using the dishes on their menu and asked for anything that had wheat to be substituted for their wheat free noodle choice. By the end of the call I felt bad for daring to have an allergy. I haven’t had this problem at any other oriental restaurant. On the other hand, Hailey, an employee of China wall was very friendly and helpful.

It’s actually a 3,5 star. Food was okay. We ordered and they said it would take 1 hour. It almost took 2 hours before the food was delivered (pretty close to the restaurant)

China Wall is a staple in our world. They are our go-to for oriental cuisine. Heat when desired, savory deluxe, egg drop, sweet and sour, szechuan, noodles for the kids, kung pao! Try it all! My husband and two kids are vegetarian and this restaurant is always amenable to their needs. Love this place!!

Surprisingly good food. I don't consider myself a total expert in Asian cuisine but I have eaten plenty of Chinese in my life. Some great, most good, and some bad. This ranks up there with the greater ones. As I said, very surprising considering being in the mountains of Montana. I look forward to coming here again.

Was in town for work, had dinner delivered to my motel room - took an hour to get which wasnt a big deal, but the brilliant woman who took my order didn't bother to mention they do not accept credit cards on delivered orders. Fortunately I had enough cash to give the cute delivery girl a good tip. The spring rolls were good, but the fried rice and bbq pork pad thai were disappointing. Not impressed.

Chinese is super hit or miss. This is a miss. I think the difference between good and bad Chinese food is the staff. The more they seem to care about you, the more you can expect excellent food. These guys need to care more.

I'm confused. So many 4 and 5 star reviews on here about how "fresh" and "authentic" the food here is, but it was clearly neither of those things. I mean, I expected mediocre Chinese food, but it was hardly that. I used those work in a grocery store deli, and I would bet money that the general tsos chicken and fried rice are the exact same frozen/pre-made stuff we used to serve. Also, a few of our crab Rangoons were still a little frozen inside. My pad thai was fresh enough, and not awful, so that was something. I at least would have liked the ignorance of things being made to order.

Food is good but service is terrible girls who answer phone always put you on hold and just put the phone down and u have to listem to them laughing and talking. Then you hang up and call again and they put you on hold. Always takes over an hr to deliver and everytime i call its like they forgot about my order and there very rude.

I've only ever had the appetizers and the ginger chicken, but it's sooo good. In the ginger chicken the vegetables are so fresh and the mushrooms are gigantic and delicious. Strips of real ginger, and the sauce isn't overpowering. Staff is always nice. delivery minimum is 15$

Evey time I give this place one more chance they never fail to dissapoint. The restaurant looks more like a storage place. The food was awful AGAIN! Everything we ordered was floating in a quarter inch of oil/water/sauce. The beef and chicken cuts where bland, hard to chew, rubbery and not worth your money. This place does not care about the food it's putting out. If you want Asian cuisine just drive to evergreen and get some Pholy.

It was one of the worst lunches I ever ate! I ordered the Shrimp Thai Curry and it was 90 percent onions and peppers with 5 tiny pieces of shrimp that were gone in 1 minute and all I was left with was a plate of onions and peppers with hardly any sauce or flavor. When I called up to complain she replied that "Well, you know, shrimp expensive". I would have been happy to pay a little more to get what I thought I ordered, a shrimp lunch. At least then I would not be still hungry.

Truly the worse “Chinese” food we have ever had. I am not sure where to start because we couldn’t eat it. I should have gone back and asked for a refund! We ordered General Tsao chicken and chicken with broccoli both with fried rice and a side order of egg rolls. The General Tsao was fried in very old oil that was smoky and burnt tasting, it was dried out, bland apart from the old oil taste. I couldn’t go past the first bite. The fried rice was dry and bland. The egg rolls were just disgusting. The chicken and broccoli was palatable. We asked for house mustard and we got a gold blob in the middle of something thick so we didn’t try it. I honestly don’t know how this restaurant is in business.

Veggies are not cook like salad . All is cold and dry except the beef.it s dry no flavor nothing compare a good Chinese restaurant. I choose plate look well on menu and it s 17$ for a salad whitout dressing .

China Wall has what I need.... Our favorites are the Crab Rangoon, Chicken Fried Rice and Beef Chow Mein... OMG I get an extra side of white rice and mix it with the fried rice and then put the beef chow mein on top of it and it is so yummy.... There is no delivery charge which in this day and age is unheard of and part of the reason I am such a loyal customer. They are friendly and I must order from them at least once a week in the summer and once a month in the winter. Please don't change. Must try... i am sure if a waitress was on the phone while someone was there it was a necessary call. You never know whats going on in someones life when you only see them for 30 minutes one day.... Excellent highly recommend

China Wall has some of the best Chinese food in the valley they have an interesting rather large fish tank in the back of the restaurant but the food is always good their tea tastes authentic and their prices are very reasonable especially when you eat on the lunch menu rather than the dinner menu

Went in for lunch today and had the Vietnamese vermicelli noodles with veggies, pork and shrimp. Sauce was light and not over powering. The portion was huge for the price. Would definitely recommend.

Place is Pleasant and tidy but the food was mostly warmed-over and tasted like it had been sitting on a steam table all day long. In fact, the main dish we ordered was just lukewarm and didn't have much flavor . We left most of it over .We were there about 7:30 p.m. so maybe it's a lot better earlier in the day. Given other places in the area we're not quite willing to give it another try.
