Solid good burgers. I love that they cook the burger to order. I prefer my burgers medium rare and this place gives you the number of Burger types. My favorite is the original Bob. I also have good tater tots and onion rings. The waitresses are nice and they're also very cute.

I was really looking forward to a good burger from what I saw on the website they look delicious. However they were not as good as they looked at all they were overcooked and overpriced. Way overpriced. The service was the worst I have ever had. I have been a server for many years and could not believe what we had to go through to get a check to get out of the place. Even after I told the waitress my daughter was on her lunch hour and ask for the check when she delivered the food which took about an hour to at least. We had to ask for our check at least 5 more times. It was unbelievable. If I could give no stars I would. We are from out of town and thought that this would be a nice place to treat our daughter for lunch, being that she works in Bozeman. What a huge mistake. I usually tip very highly being that I was a waitress but in this case after having to ask for the check for 5 times and then after she got her credit card she kept that for another 20 minutes. I just could not leave a decent tip. I felt sorry for the waitress as the manager really should have had more than two or three servers for the place and the tables are totally Jam together like no place I've ever seen before so you're lucky if you can even get three people stuffed into a table. I would not recommend this restaurant to my worst enemy. Hopefully people will see this review and skip this place I should have listened to my daughter who said we should not have gone to this place.

Did not have a good experience here at all. Being a college student, I understand the in’s and out’s of the service industry and it takes a lot for me to call out bad service from other college students. Doing squats in the bar area as the whole three customers in the store aren’t being served? And then rounding up the entire staff to laugh in the back after my friend and I asked to speak to a manager? When we talked to the girl “who has been here for three years” she continues to apologize for our waiter who has only been there for two days... she was doing her best while you coached the apparent gym I didn’t know I walked in to. Thank goodness this state has good scenery cause dang, terrible first impression on the people here. ZERO STARS.

I've been going to this place for many, many years. Its my go to place whenever I drive through or visit Bozeman. The food and service is always great. The atmosphere is somewhere between sports bar and home town hole in the wall.

I am not one to complain or leave reviews, but I feel compelled to do so in this case. Both our burgers were cooked way too much, until they were dry and the cheese wasn’t even melted on top of them. Also, the fries were cold and the beer was warm. On a positive, the waitress was great and the bathrooms were very clean. We just expected a place with burger in the name to have better burgers.

Great place, this is a little college dive place. The burgers are good, and not overpriced. Just the basics here, no fofo stuff and no high prices to go along with. LOVED IT! I'm definitely going back to this place. If you go, look up on the wall towards the back, they have their specials of the day up there. I did not try one this trip, but it looked like their shakes were the bomb too. We had onion rings and wings to start out with, and they were awesome. The burger you could order to your liking, rare all the way to hockey puck. The only draw back to this place, is that they had Pepsi products, but that is an issue all over this state. Again, great place, and awesome burgers.

First time at Burger Bob's. Many of our friends have raved about the place. We had an opportunity to go this weekend and jumped at the chance. On a Friday night the place was busy. We did not know if it was seat yourself or wait to be seated. We finally were able to flag down a waitress. Told it was seat yourself. Menu is small and the prices are slightly high for burger joint, but it's Bozeman. They do have other options on the menu besides burgers...chicken, fish/chips, salads, and milk shakes. My wife and I both ordered burgers. I had the original Bob with tator tots and she had the what comes first bob with sweet potatoe fries. Burgers were flavor and cooked just right. Service was a bit slow as everyone else has mentioned even after the place started to clear out. The place is loud since it is connected to the cannery next door. Overall food was very good and surprising very filling.

Nope. Nope, nope. So here's my experience with this place: went there with a friend of mine, at 7:45pm, middle of the week. There were 3 other tables with patrons. First thing that made me cringe was the waitress (a lovely lady, by the way) asking how we wanted our burgers cooked. Ground beef has always to be well cooked, food safety 101, and I doubt their ground beef is tartare grade. Anyway. Second thing that made me cringe was the waiting time. It took 25 minutes for our burgers and fries to arrive. 25 minutes, I would understand if it were very busy, but it wasn't. Third thing that made me cringe: the adds-on on the burger were stone cold. Tomato, onion, salad, pickles, were extremely cold, and the experience of biting into this thing was unpleasant, to say the least. I ordered my burger with an egg, that came up overcooked and rubbery. The fries were fries, nothing to write home about. Overall, a long waiting time, a poor culinary experience, and to top it all, it's pretty expensive for what we got. We won't be coming back.

Bob's is always good.. great customer service and great food... If you're feeling adventurous, try the peanut butter and jelly chicken wings, they were awesome!!!. The only issue is how tight the seating can be in there. We make this place a frequent stop. Kids love it!!

Served us cold wings we brought them back. They then served us cold wings AGAIN and still charged us for them. The fries were bad and the burgers were average. On top of that the waitress never offered or gave me a refill.

Been a few times with overcooked burgers, but for the first time almost left with no food. Waited for an hour and a half which was my whole lunch break, had to get it to go. In our party they messed up multiple orders. Sent us "to go" with salads sans dressing, and cole slaw with no forks. Forgot fries, charged for an upgraded burger which was not ordered. Overall, very disappointed. No plans to go back any time soon. I thought after they got shut down they might hire better employees... poor way to spend my lunch

The burger was great. The "world famous onion rings" were good but I was a little disappointed that they tasted just like everyone else's onion rings. I wasn't too impressed with the service. We had to wait over 10 minutes for a waitress to even approach us. And even after she wiped the table down, there was a big puddle of something left over from the previous guests. All in all, it was a good meal but definitely not anything to brag about.

Great place to stop in while you're walking on Main. Their shakes and malts are to die for, and everything here is huge. Their burgers are awesome, and their sides are great as well, especially the mozzarella sticks. Great place to people watch Main street with a shake.

The food here is amazing. I had the Bob burger and it is really one of the best I have ever had. There sweet potato fries are massive and delicious! I also ordered the Oreo milkshake, and although it might take awhile it's fantastic. The restaurant its self is also very cozy and doesn't look run down or anything.

Had salmon with no sauce as it was not gluten-free. It was so bland and dry that I couldn't eat half of it. The salad was standard. The restaurant itself was dirty with food scraps and goldfish crackers under a couple of tables we sat at. The strawberry milkshake was good though!

I didn't actually have a burger, but I had a chicken caesar salad. So this shouldn't be your sole review to base your decisions upon, but here it is. I thought it was a great place with a good atmosphere. The salad was actually quite good for a burger place where it's usually just the token vegetarian-ish option. I'll definitely come back again when in town and try a burger.

There famous onion ring were about 75cents each for prefab frozen and soggy onion rings. Horrible. The 10 lunch sandwich barely had anything on it. Cant see why this place has a good rating. Better food at Macdonalds or burger king

A fantastic spot to enjoy a classic American burger in downtown Bozeman. The fries are tasty and the milkshakes don’t disappoint. My partner and I love the window seating to people watch. And if a beer is calling your name, they open a pathway to the Cannery bar next door.

Overall Rating: Worth the visit downtown. I like the downtown location and it's lively lure. The burgers are well made, fries are quite good but nothing special. Seating wise, you'll feel crowded and it can be hard to find a table in their narrow location.

This restaurant wasn't busy at all(4 occupied tables) didn't get acknowledged for 10 minutes until I had to ask for waters from the bar. Got handed menus, didn't get waters and pretty much got ignored. I saw 3 staff that could've helped us but decided to do everything but serve us. THEN proceeded to get another table's order that came in after us... Im a restaurant manager and I didnt understand tonight at all. Not coming back

Best local burgers in Bozeman! I have been going here for the past 7 years and the quality food and service has yet to disappoint! Great seasonal milkshake flavors, amazing and hearty burgers (Cardiac Arrest Burger is by far amazing), crispy fresh fries, and a great atmosphere. A little pricey but it's worth it. The only downside is usually it is extremely busy for dinner, especially if there is an event on main street happening. Don't be surprised to be standing by the door waiting for a table to open up.

This is my favorite restaurant in Bozeman. All the employees are super friendly and the food is great. They make true old fashioned milkshake that are huge and out of this world and they come in so many flavors and the berry milkshakes have real berries in them! On top of that the meat they use is the best burger I've had. They are also good about adding toppings or taking toppings off and cooking the meat to your liking. And its a very family friendly atmosphere

I had the Cowboy Bob, the burger meat was delicious, not dry or stringy., the BBQ sauce wasn't that strong but you can taste it, the bacon in it was great also not hard or stringy but tasted amazing. the Oreo shake was amazing and very very delicious. I would totally recommend it.

I have always loved Burger Bobs. From the 'Sorry, We're Open' glowing self-deprecatingly in the door to the Bozeman memorobilia hanging on the walls, the joint is apropriate for apres-rodeo or if you've just been skiin'. Their burgers are so down to earth they're made with ground beef. Can't go wrong with any of them, and dip your onion rings in a huckleberry shake!

The food was great, just so many tables slammed together. I get it, it cuts on wait times to have a lot of seats, but any time a bigger party than five came in, they were shuffling tables, we even moved so we wouldn't be crowded and wouldn't crowd the other group. Then another group came in and we slid ourselves over. Our waitress was super sweet, very thoughtful. Also, it would be great if there was an Italian place across the street that was consistently at war with them.

This place is a joke! Came in ordered the 12.99 #2special .Got bill it was 16.99 asked why they said for the drink and fries. Never got any drink the burger was a 5 doller burget and never asked for fries the help knew Nothing! About what was going on .never go again! Hire someone with more than a 3rd grade education just my thought. I'll never go back

Very accommodating, friendly, staff. Good seating and they handle my service dog wonderfully. Very comfortable atmosphere. I went here for dinner on Saturday and back at noon for Sunday lunch. It would be 5 stars, but I save that 5th one for places that are "over the top". This place is really great. I'll see ya there.
