Restaurant (not the hibachi) options were overly sweet and syrupy. Very candy-tasting, including the spicy dish I ordered. Even the sushi was sweeter than I'd like. We've eaten at the hibachi part before, which was solid, but these more "traditional" Asian food options were just terrible. Good only if you like your sugar-syrup with a hint of spice and flavor.

Yesterday we visited Asian Sea Grill with some friends from out of town. They had never seen food cooked right in front of you like that. They LOVED IT! Especially Lil Jon. We’ve had Lil Jon a few times, for my money he is one of the greatest chefs they have. Always just an all around GREAT GUY!! My youngest daughter loved him, our friends loved him, and we really wanted to show them what a great experience The Sea Grill really is. Lil Jon had us laughing the entire time we were there from beginning to end. So if you just happen to get Lil Jon as your chef you will definitely have a great time. He is the best chef by far, and an Awesome Give that man a raise!!!!! He really deserves it. So to Lil Jon , from the Stones THANK YOU for making it a great night for everyone!!

We ate on the hibachi side and staff was friendly, entertainment factor was great and food was amazing! Place can get a bit loud depending on the number of people and the chefs entertaining the tables but definitely worth it.

Abysmal Red Thai Curry with virtually no flavor. If you are looking for fantastic thai food, do yourself a favor and go down the street to Siam Thai or to the Thai restaurant downtown. With tip spent $54 and really can't express how angry I am that I will never her that $ back. May as well have thrown it out the window. Will never go back.

Just an awesome experience!!!I was just trying to find a restaurant/bar that actually has wifi. After 4 tries, I stumbled across this gem! Friendly staff from the moment i walked in, I was immediately seduced. Sushi, steaks, bar and nice clientele. Place was pretty busy for Thursday but staff was actually moving so nothing to complain about. Got a little backstory from the bartender about the owners, just to put cherry on top. Between Chicago and Seattle scenes, being in the middle of it, this spot can compete anywhere so stop in if you are reading this

Let's see.. everything started out okay untill it took 5 mins to get our drinks, the Price's are ridiculously high, the staff are completely unfriendly. We sat and waited for over 10 mins and never once got asked what we wanted. There was one other couple and that was it, I'm sorry but no.. you do make your customers wait that long for service with those prices. Paid for the drinks and went across to Outback, got seated and served right away. That's just ridiculous and I won't be going back.

Being here for business, I went solo for sushi and was extremely impressed by the chef! There is a grill side as well, but I wanted sushi. There were tons of guests over there and the chefs were very energetic. The salmon sashimi was the most tender I have ever had. The octopus sushi is also very decadent and obviously fresh. They had the freshest ginger and wasabi I have tasted. What threw me was the chef's hand roll raw San Francisco roll, the only one with spicy scallop, my favorite. It was not a traditional roll as I know it, but a cone of the sea weed paper with all the ingredients inside! If you're in Billings and want sushi, I highly reccomend Asian Sea Grill!

Had lunch there on a Friday afternoon. Service was quick and attentive. Had the lunch combo of snow peas with chicken and the sweet and sour chicken with brown rice and egg roll. Even included house salad. Food tasted great, lettuce fresh and crisp. Had so much left over had enough for 3 more meals. Definitely going back soon!

The food here is ok at best. The hot and sour soup is neither hot nor sour and the sushi was overpriced and an excellent choice if you are going in for a colonoscopy as dulcolax cant hold a candle to how quick and violent the intestinal reaction to this place is. The only reason I gave the second star was my waitress was great. If your on a road trip better skip this place unless you want to hit every rest area between Billings and Missoula.

Great experience and food. A little pricey but had dinner there, mid night snack and some breakfast so well worth it. Kinda loud so not great for conversations. But there is another seating area away from the hibachi that seems quieter. Only complaint is the salad that comes with meal. Bowl of lettuce. Would defenatly go back.

Made a stop while coming from Yellowstone to back home with my wife and my mother. My mother was visiting first time to States, so had to be bit cautious while choosing a dinning place. My wife and i have relished Japanese food several times. The food was good, my mother really liked the Sushi, which i ordered for her. It was a combo of california, and avocado sushi. Me and my wife also enjoyed the food a lot. The ambience was very nice. While going out i saw the chef doing some crazy flame things for the people in the next room that was pretty awesome. So if you want a perfect date or want to relax and have a quality time, this is the place.

Expensive, mediocre, lackluster service. This was a disappointing dinner, my husband and I like to sit at the sushi bar and let the chef serve us whatever he wants. The sushi chefs wouldn't look at us and would barely talk. After the server bluntly explained that they don't speak English, they still wouldn't look at us when we thanked them or tried to smile at them. We had to order everything through the waiter who would not look our way when he would eventually make his slow rounds to the one other couple in the dining room. It took forever to get drinks, no refills, the rolls we did order and just to get the check and out of that depressing atmosphere.

Love sushi! The hibachi bar and the regular bar are on the outsides of the restaurant, so the "quiet" area is in the middle and not really quiet, but the food is wonderful, and the sushi amazing.

Overall, it's a great resturant. Atmosphere was great, and the employees were above average. My only complaint was with the food. Dont get me wrong, the food itself is wonderful, it's just that they dont give you very much compared to the prices.

Absolutely the worst dinning experience of my life. First the cleanliness of the restaurant is in question. There was trash all over the floor. When was the last time the place was cleaned? Next we had to wait 40 min for a table, when clearly there were open tables all around. Our server was inexperienced and didn't know the menu at all. Couldn't answer even the simplest questions. When the food was finally served, I found a giant hair sticking out of it. It was so gross I had to leave the restaurant. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone..if the dining areas and bathrooms aren't cleaned..imagine how sanitary the kitchen is. UGH!

Such a disappointment. Even the ginger didn't taste fresh. I ordered the dancing eel roll and the vegas roll. They both tasted stale and bland. I have gotten sushi from grocery stores that are fresher and taste better. The rice was so mushy it looked like one giant grain of rice wrapped around each piece.

First, walking in and seeing the blonde haired young gal at the counter look at us with the look of the typical young teenager "I hate my job" face and then back down without a smile or a hello was quite the invitation but we looked past it because the young Asian boy who served us was pleasant. Got our food, sushi for my fiance and I had the "pad thai". Well their "pad Thai" was awful, undercooked chicken and tasted just wrong in almost every way. My fiances sushi was decent enough to eat but less than an hour later, he was bathroom ridden. Overall, my opinion is the chef in the kitchen needs lessons on the menu items and how to prepare them and maybe take a little pride in his work, the young staff needs some serious hospitality&service work and to same, take a little pride in their work. The sushi issue could be due to product or lack of cleanliness, I'm not sure but that area needs attention too. Won't be returning and would not recommend.

Great place to go into and eat. But, never order take out or delivery. It’s been horrible the last two times. Edit: I gave it two stars my last review because of the take out and delivery. It’s not the best. We went in to the restaurant and sat down to eat and it was amazing!!! Great waitress! The owner was still there working her but off. The food and service were perfect. We went to Tao first bit they told us they were out of rice at 8:30pm on a Friday night. Glad we went here.

We stopped by this establishment yesterday with a party of 6, greeted by hostess, The bent over backwards to say we would get seated, We waited and waited, there were plenty of empty tables. Got tired of watching the young help playing grab ass and flirting, fighting among themselves, After a 40 plus minute wait, were left and went next door to a great Italian restaurant. I hope there food is excellent, their customer service is pathetic

I LOVE this place! I would consider myself a regular because I order from these guys 2-3 times a month. Awesome food and excellent service staff. The Hibachi is super fun and a great place for families and large parties. The sushi can either be cooked or raw (totally your choice) with a huge selection for each. Don’t worry if you don’t like sushi either, they have a great selection of other foods and cuisines to choose from.

Best damned drinks and Asian food in the city! The bar has great atmosphere. The regular dining room gets a little noisy and isn't anything special. But the hibachi tables are so much fun for the whole family. In short, it is a perfect place for a romantic date or the whole family!
