You must have seen that it reaches an opinions average is very good, and it's founded on a very high number of opinions, so we can say that the valuation is quite faithful. If people have bothered to leave their opinion when they are pleased with the business, it works.
As you know, we don't usually bother to give opinions when they are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Restaurant is included in the category of Thai restaurant.
Everything is good here, and they have great customer service. Try the curry chicken or drunken noodles with shrimp. They never skimp on spice or flavor, so if you order something hot be prepared for the kick. The soda fountain is full of good choices, too, so indulge in a grapefruit soda or cola. My all-around favorite place to eat in the Webster Groves area.
I have stopped eating there. It used to be really good stuff(I love Thai food) and the last few times I have eaten there the food is just OK. Its like the Thai was taken out of the Thai food, very basic and bland. No pop like Thai food is so known for.
Incredible Panang Curry brisket 5*spicy Your guys did great jobs.
Service is horrible. Staff is rude, and don't bother with carry out unless you like getting partial orders. Food quality... gone downhill.
This is a favorite among my peers and I, and is always a special treat when we go out together or get take out. If you have time and a few extra dollars to spend I would highly recommend this restaurant. The food is delicious and the staff is very helpful and welcoming.
This was some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had!
Fast delicious food my favorite is the short ribs
Decent Thai food in an informal setting. I appreciated the addition of red curry "on the side" of my pad Thai. Not my favorite Thai food nearby, but no big complaints either. Nice option to have in the old orchard area.
So good! You can easily eat vegan here, i reccomend getting the pinapple fried rice w/no egg and add tofu!
My first time here I got the Tom Yum soup - it was amazing!! Super flavorful! I will definitely be back for more lunch!
Great food, awesome staff
something about the food here just feels... assembled, instead of cooked. sorry. I want to like it more than I do.
This used to be a five star, but the changes to the menu, like not allowing to pick the protein drive it down to four. Still one of the best Thai places around, and definitely the best south of Hwy 40
Fried rice with beef! Really good and the amount was perfect for my hunger!
Best panang curry I've ever had.
My favorite restaurant in St. Louis. I'm willing to drive 40 minutes to go eat at Tei Too.
The BEST Red Curry around. When we want that "special night in meal" we order it and go home to spend the evening together in comfy happiness.
Awesome staff, great food, good music too.
Food is fresh and varied. Very good each time we've been there.
Tonight I went here between shows for my job. They were SLAMMED when I got there, BUT my food was timely (about 20 mins from order to served, with a party of 12, 3 & 2 in front of me) DELICIOUS, and the folks working were GRACIOUS and working their tails off!! I only had an hour and made it in and out without rushing and I. AM. STUFFED
Good food, somewhat slow service
Ordered the short ribs and the chicken satay. I haven’t had such a good satay in ages. The peanut sauce accompanying the satay could have been a little spicier, but the quality of the marinade more than made up for it.
Amazing food, freshly prepared. Nice sized portions - dinner becomes tomorrow's lunch! Quiet dining area - small, good for couples or small groups.
Don't go there for speedy quick 15 minute dining; DO go there for top-quality, fresh, incredible-tasting food and friendly service. Just awesome!
The service was welcoming, food delicious and music was great. Definitely a new regular spot!
The first time I came here I was not impressed. However, I came in this week for lunch to give it another try and I'm glad I did. Had the drunken noodles with chicken with level 5 on the spice. I will be returning, much better than the first time I came in. Friendly staff! I am giving four stars because this is the only Thai restaurant I can think of that doesn't have a lunch menu. The lunch pricing is a little more than I would like to spend, but for dinner it would better than most on the pricing.
Wow. This place is amazing. I was telling a friend about it the other day and said it was my favorite in STL. He said, man that's a pretty big deal - your favorite Thai food in STL. I said, no. This is my favorite food in STL. IT'S SOOOO GOOD!! Get the spicy basil chicken and a side of Thai Toast - you'll be in heaven.
The best curry in the world the soup is amazing Ramen and Curry you can have chicken or beef
As a Black woman, I had never been so insulted in my life. I ordered my food, and I patiently waited for my order. After some time, I asked the waitress about the status of my order, and she explained that my order was being prepared. I was fine with this answer. Three minutes later, someone sent a Black woman out to explain to me how the resturant worked as if I needed a translator to understand that I had to wait for my food. I did not appreciate being treated as an aggressive Black woman who was causing a scene. I did not appreciate the lack of courtesy and respect I received. I will never eat here again.
Great Thai Food. We will drive 30 minutes just to go eat here. Love the Panang Curry with braised beef. I literally dream about this stuff. Staff is always very friendly. Tei Too is in my top 5 places to eat in St. Louis.
I wasn't impressed. The shrimp didn't have much flavor, Thai spicy 5 didn't blast my senses, and I was generally unenthused. Rather expensive, I would've enjoyed table service.
The food is okay, and your paying a surcharge for it's Webster location. The big knock on this place is that the service is TERRIBLE. I've tried twice, and been talked down to twice. Not worth the effort at all. If you're in the area looking for Thai, Zen Thai, just south on Watson is better, similarly priced and WAY friendlier.
There Tom yum soup is amazing I always get mine extra spicy and I get it with rice noodles. This place is a great find!
This place is underwhelming when you walk in, but the food is fantastic. I love the spicy basil and drunk noodles.
Good fast and inexpensive. I went there for the first time and I was impressed by the curry I ate. Many thanks for feeding me!
We love stopping here for a quick dinner with a budget in mind.
This was my first visit to Tei Too. While not easy to find parking if you are unfamiliar with the location (out back and yes, it's free) it is well worth it. My first visit to a restaurant that serves Thai is to find the red curry dish. This is the test. If they get this wrong I won't even review it. They nailed it. I asked them to make it as spicy as they dared. While it was still mild for me (I like to have my face melted off by Scoville units in the 300k range). It was spicy enough to taste the heat and enjoy it at the same time. My spouse was good enough to share their Panang Curry and again it was delicious with the peanut flavor subtle. This blows away most of my experiences where all you can taste is peanuts. The dumplings are excellent as well as the rangoons. This level of excellence is not cheap. Good things never are, but neither is it expensive. The portions are large so you still get plenty of value for the cost. If I had three thumbs they would all be up.
Tei Too catered my retirement celebration back in June (2018) so I felt it was time to return. I had dinner here prior to attending The Repertory Theatre production.
Greasy and salty! The padthai wasn't even close to a normal padthai. Americanized Thai food for people who don't like real Thai food.
Their Tofu Pad Thai was excellent. Fast friendly service. I was a little disappointed with the atmosphere and setting, not what I was expecting for a Thai experience. The food was slightly over-priced for the portions we received but I would probably go back for take out.
I liked the place, order and pay first restaurant, nice ladies at the counter. The food was fresh, and looked great, but the flavor/textures were slightly off.... just a little. I’d definitely go back again
Last time I went there I asked for the curry made vegetarian (no shrimp/fish paste). They said no problem. Came again and they said they couldn't do that since the curry was premade. Stay away if you're vegetarian or have allergies.
The spicy basil is awesome
Absolutely love this place, low key, great food. I typically get the Spicy Basil but recently have tried the Tom Yum Soup, which is also fantastic!!
Wonderful Red Curry. My healthy comfort food go to. Service quick and friendly.
De-G-Dang-Licious! Crab Rangoon + Sauce = Heaven. Had the panang curry and sampled the chicken pineapple fried rice. Both outstanding. Only reason it's not a 5 star is because the place could use a really good wipe down.
Didn't like the restaurant decor and cleanliness. Food was decent, but inside needs remodeled and cleaned.
The food and service were very good.
Good food, nice place to eat.
Long-time favorite for delicious comfort food. A little pricey, so it's a special treat, but I've never been disappointed. They've always been consistent which keeps me coming back for more! Two favorites: spicy basil rice, panang curry with brisket.
Best thai you can get.
Absolutely my favorite Thai food spot in STL. Every dish that I have tried has been delicious. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food is served quickly regardless of how busy they are. If you like spicy, serious spicy, give the Drunken Noodles a try, you will thank me later!
One word! Gyoza!! But also it's fresh, flavorful and friendly
Traditional Tei noodle restaurant. Always enjoy grabbing take away from here. Brisket Penang is legendary. My one criticism is that about a third of the time I find that they don't put the order together correctly (missing items). Inevitably I don't notice it till I get home. So check the order before you leave. If not for this they would be 5 stars.
Mmmhmmm, now that's the spot. Great little joint with friendly staff and better eating than most Asian restaurants nearby.
Very good food. service was prompt. the employee was very helpful in describing what was included in each selection. They have takeout and dine-in. My vegan friend was able to find good selection as well. The dining area was clean and very well maintained. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the restroom. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to my friends.
Best curry ever!
This place is a favorite of mine! Always fresh and delicious!
Amazing Curry!
Food is so so. Prices are a little high for what you get. Better Thai food other places. Not enough protein for the cost. Great if you're a vegetarian.
I had high hopes for a new noodle shop in Webster Groves that was only about two blocks from where I worked. It seemed that when they had just opened, things were great, however, the more chances I gave them, the more disappointed I became. My worst experience was the Tom Yum. It quite literally tasted like water in which someone boiled hot dogs. This was also confirmed by two other people that I was dining with, who tried mine. And no amount of Sriracha could cover it up. If you want a more authentic experience, check out Zen on Watson.
Very happy to review that this restaurant has amazing food. Very pleased with my first dining experience. I had the red curry chicken, so many different flavors. Perfect meal!
Always delicious!!
I can't believe it's taken me so long to eat here! Thai food is one of my faves. Tei Too doesn't disappoint. Had the gyoza to start. Cooked perfectly with crispy top & bottoms. Wife had Burmese noodle soup. It had chicken and the broth was a yellow curry with noodles. I had dry soba brisket, and oh my! I didn't expect brisket like this. Buttery tender and flavorful with just a little spice. Definitely will be giving them more of my future business. My only regret is not getting a pic of the menu.
Drive all the way out to Webster to try, and they decided to close 30 minutes earlier than what they posted on the door!! Bad business
My tofu pad Thai was great. The vegetable egg rolls were great.
Wanted Thai food and found this place on google maps. Great food, really fresh with a great taste. The one negative....it took a very long time to get our food (45 minutes from order to table )and they brought out the plates individually.
Great food reasonable prices. Will be back
every menu item is great.
Delicious Pad Thai and salad. Good prices.
This is my favorite spot for Thai food. I've dined here many times and am never disappointed! If you haven't, definitely try Tei Too!
The food is amazing!!!
Burnt food. Rude staff. A staff member was sleeping on one of the benches by the front counter as I ordered. The woman at the front counter had 2" Iong finger nails and God only knows what kind of bacteria was under those. She got snarky with the customer in front of me because he asked what flavor one of their drinks was, to which she replied, "I don't know, it's red.". Helpful..... I've been to this place several times but won't be back. Place has gone way downhill.
Absolutely delicious.
Food was not great and over-priced for the amount you receive. Not impressed.
The items my friend and I ordered *were* very tasty, but neither of us felt that the flavors stuck out as being particularly Thai. He commented that it reminded him of (think traditionally American- style Chinese food) "healthier Chinese food, not Thai". Again, food was fast, tasty, and the service friendly ... but we probably won't go back if we're really craving more of the traditional flavors of Thai food. Good options for vegetarians.
Great drunken noodles! Sweet ginger with chicken awesome !! Gaoza also good service friendly ❤️
Pretty good! I believe I got the pad thai on my visit. They are on the pricer end, but expect having some left! I would def go again :)
A hidden gem you won't regret. Try it, really! Don't expect table service. You'll have to order at the counter and they will bring it out to you....Enjoy
Fairly priced, very delicious. Portions could be bigger.
Good variety and interesting menu choices. All the usuals with great flavor. No negatives.
The crab rangoon is amazing and the stir frys are awesome
Love their Chicken YakiUdon!! Supper yummy!
Delicious food, always served very quickly. Good assortment of dishes
Great food great music and atmosphere
Good food and reasonable prices.
Staff are so friendly and food is delucious. I totally recommend TEI TOO :)
Pretty authentic. Pad thai is a little sour. Panang curry is tasty.
Wife introduced me to this place - has good food and friendly staff. I try to go every time I'm in the area
Great Thai food!
Never disappointed me.
This place has a take-out feel but the quality of the food is impressive. I tell everyone to try this place.
I love the drunken noodles
Really excellent, fresh-tasting thai food. Try the Panang curry bowl with brisket....fantastic!
It’s frustrating that I’ve been coming here for years and the customer service has really faltered in the last 6 months or so. We ordered the Gyoza (Potstickers) and they didn’t give us the correct amount in the order and they also forgot the potsticker sauce... I called to tell them and a woman apologized to me and asked for my name and phone number so that the next time I picked up an order we would get an order of Gyoza on the house to replace the one they messed up. That was about a week or so ago. Today I called to pick up an order and they did not have my name down with the info they said they would and then the person tried to argue with me about what exactly was wrong with the Gyoza and offered me a discount.. It’s a $7 Gyoza... I don’t need a discount on the next one I get — I would have liked for it to have been correct in the first place, and if not then the manager needed to rectify the situation. I thought that’s what happened when they messed up my order a week ago and was told my name had been taken down; I was willing to give it another chance until today when they told me they had no record of it and acted like they didn’t care at all. I won’t be returning to this restaurant, which is sad because I do quite enjoy the food. However the awful customer service that I’ve had to deal with lately isn’t worth the food no matter how good it is.
Great food, great service, and a relaxing atmosphere. Always a wonderful experience every time I visit.
Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles were fantastic!
