Probably one of my Top 4 burger joints of all time. The food itself was delicious, and the service and people there were very considerate. My experience there was pretty well top notch and I will definitely be returning. For those that are looking for those secret little spots to venture to, well this is one so you should go with it and you'll probably find that it will become on of your new favorite spots as well.

Mac and cheese balls were the best!! Wished they had fried pickle spears instead of chips. Burgers were fantastic

One of the best burgers I've ever had. We started with fried pickle chips. I had the dictator with house made chips. The wife had the off the hill and kids had build your own burgers and a veggie wrap. I tried a little of all and they were delicious. Glad we found this burger gem while traveling.

I love Stacked it's our neighborhood burger joint. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Food is fresh and they even let you create your own burger if you don't one of their special burgers. I also like their wings and pretzel bites. They also have homemade french fries that are wonderful with cheese on top and don't forget the red hot ripples sprinkle!!! Will definitely be back again!!

Wow! I'm not sure what else can be said about this amazing restaurant. The flavor combinations hit every palate. Pictured is their Bella Blue, upgraded grass-fed beef and string sweet potatoes. Everything was perfectly cooked. They take their time preparing your meal and don't mind substitutions. You can even create your own burger by filling out a selections sheet. No judging! Friendly waitress, really nice manager and great service round out this stellar experience. There is only street parking available and I'm sure this place is packed on the weekends. Best burger in St Louis as far as our family is concerned. Six people, six different burgers, all very satisfied!

The burgers here are some of the best that I have had. The ground chuck is probably the best thing at this place. They also have Excel sodas which makes it even better to come here.

Food was good. Pick your meats and how you want them. Pork, brisket, steak, other meats and sides. The interior seemed really crowded even when there weren't that many people actually dining. Not sure if it was just inefficient layout or use of space or what, but the staff was otherwise friendly and the prices were a bit on the high side but in line with other meat-themed places like it.

I was very happy they has a grass fed beef upgrade option! The burger selection was amazing and so many options to choose from! I ended up going with the build your own and enjoyed the best damn burger I've had in a long while!

This was our first trip to “STACKED” there are no pictures, we ate it all!! Yummy!! Friendly service and the owner is working the floor, I liked that he makes himself one of the crew. The quality of beef is melt in your mouth, cooked to order. If you don’t like their gourmet selections, there’s a tablet at your table where you can create your own. Sweet potato and hand cut fries, Guacamole bites.... “don’t touch my Guacamole Bites” my daughter said! Even their soft drinks are unique!

Ate there last night. Got the "Make your own" burger. 60/40 patty on sourdough with bacon and pub cheese. Didn't even put any ketchup or mayo on the burger, the cheese and meat had so much flavor I didn't need it (might get bbq sauce next time though). Fries w/ Red Hot Riplets seasoning. I ate till I was full, and then continued eating until there was nothing left. Went home and fell into a food induced coma. 10/10 will be back!

The burgers were killer and service was good. Why the loss of the star, I had the build you own burger with a Pretzel bun and the bun seemed to not be the freshest. It was a Saturday night and like all good restaurants, there was s wait. Definitely worth it if you are in the south city area. Had a side of the corn guacamole fried, it was interesting.

Since I’m not a burger guy I’ll speak for the other food items on Stacked menu, but if you like burgers I’m told this is the place to go. I had the Veggie Wrap which had White Bean Hummus, Spinach, Mushroom Medley, Roasted Red Peppers, Pickled Red Onion, Feta Cheese and Honey-Thyme Balsamic Glaze. It was amazing! One week later and I’m still craving another one. Also I do like their beer selection and had their Bavarian Pretzel appetizer which was very good as well.

Visited this place twice, the first time blew mine and my wife's minds. The second chance we got we were reminiscing about it with her brother around. Decided then to go again. It was just as incredible as our first time, if not better. Their burgers are cooked to order (to the letter) with everything you could wish to try in a burger. If you're a casual person, they got the burgers for you. Are you an eccentric person willing to go outside the buns? This place gives you the springboard to dive right into a whole new burger experience. Sides, chips and fries, that they make serve as the perfect sidekick to that heroic burger you just ordered. Service is great and attentive, they know their stuff. I can't say much else except I plan on going again, soon.

Very good food. Heavy burgers, ground chuck or a beef/pork mix. They also have a turkey or black bean burger for the veggie crowd. Desert is a Trump Brownie, it's very rich.

Service: 5 Speed: 5 (15 minute wait. Food out in 5-10 mins) Burger: 4 (Good taste. Overcooked for medium rare.) Fries: 4 (Nice crunch and taste. Cut small so it gets crumby at the end.) Wings: 5 (Cooked well. Sauce had good flavor with some tang) Overall great experience. Will come back.

Wow. Went to try the burgers and wasn't disappointed. Tried 3 between us and each was flavorful and unique, but the meat could have stood on its own. Seasoned just right. A treat worth the trip, so I'll surely be back.

OMG this is a great place to grab a bite whether you're dining in or carrying out! Been here a few times and I can't get enough. My lady likes the wakey wakey every time so far as for myself I've had the big kahuna which I highly recommend and I've tried the one that comes on a pretzel bun! I intend to try the entire lineup eventually. Haven't dined in because I live so close, but I wouldn't hesitate to. Friendly staff and mellow atmosphere, great food and great service. My takeout is only about a 20 minute wait everytime. Definitely try this place and tell em Jay Starr sent you, you'll thank me later

Was surprised that I liked the burgers. Seemed like some odd combinations, went with the "Off the Hill", wasn't sure how I would like it but seemed the safest. The flavors combined well and I was pleasantly surprised. Now wish I had gone with the blue cheese burger that I was originally concerned with. Look forward to going back to try it though.

Went out of my way for this one with a friend. If you are a burger lover check it off your list asap, kinda like their menus. You can use a pencil and a paper with options and boxes to craft your perfect burger, or choose from their menu items if you aren't feeling adventurous.

This place was voted #2 for burgers in STL, and I get why. Great service, yummy drinks, delicious burgers. More of a thick burger than the thin crispy edge type. They have a build your own, a list of specialty house burgers, and usually run a burger special that is for a limited time. I always do that one of it looks appealing.

They have great burgers with allll the sides.. good beer on tap too!! You can pick from their selection or design your own! Either way.. absolutely delicious with a friendly staff.. save room for dessert!

We went for a Saturday brunch burger. We started with Bloody Mary's that were pretty good. The bacon one was tasty. Then we had a BLT burger and en Fuego burger. Both were perfect. The bartender made sure we had everything we wanted. This is definitely a place we'll go back to.

Best burgers. I prefer the build your own but there are plenty of good burgers on the menu. If you go at peak times there will probably be a wait but its worth it. My main stop for a great burger fix.

I love burgers. Burgers are what I usually judge a new place by. I have eaten burgers EVERYWHERE. That being said this place was way better than what I had initially expected. As soon as I took my first bite I was in love. It was so juicy oh my goodness. You can build your own or order one of their fabulous combinations. It'll come out amazing either way. The fountain sodas are all classics that you wont find many places like Ski Citrus Soda, Red Cream Soda, or Million Dollar Strawberry Soda. They were all amazing :)

I loved getting to make my own burger! Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere. The only downside is that it's pretty small. If I hadn't known that prior to going, I would have brought my babies infant seat.

Very chill and relaxed atmosphere in a nice spot of the neighborhood that it’s in. My server / bartender Kelly was awesome, as well as the rest of the staff. Decided to come here before a small concert and would definitely come back if I’m ever in the area again and want to grab a quick bite and couple drinks before seeing a band.

Only a couple of vegetarian options, but what they had was pretty delicious. I had their wrap (because I'm a bit veggie burger'd out) and coleslaw and both were good. As a vegetarian I don't know that I need to rush to go back, but solid option when going out to eat with omnivorous friends. Also liked that the served local beers to go with the meal. Didn't interact with the server much but not a bad experience either.

Great food, the burgers were all really good. They made a small error on my wife's burger but we're fast to correct it. Only real complaint is seating was unclear. If we need to speak with someone to get on a list then wait in a waiting area that's fine, but post a sign or something. We got there and half the tables were unseated with no indication what we were supposed to do.

Pretty good little craft burger joint. Had lots of great flavor combinations on their menu. But also have the option to build your own burger with a large quantity of options. From Turkey, black bean, beef,pork, and more. Large choice of toppings. Full bar also and sodas. Atmosphere is a little loud because of more of the bar setting and very busy always. The only thing I can say that I wish they had as an option was lamb or buffalo as choices of meat. Other than that pretty good service. Not a bad atmosphere. Would definitely recommend if you are close to the area and like to have burgers. I will more than likely be going back again.

You cannot list Saint Louis's best burgers without mentioning Slackers. Their burgers are absolutely outstanding. They have a good variety of house burgers. In addition, they provide you the option to build your own burger. So if you believe you can make a better burger than the king's themself, do it! The bar has great local beers on tap, plenty of bottled beers, and a great cocktail list as well. Seating is semi-limited, so try and come when it's not busy! However, tables turn fairly fast! Check this place out if you're looking for a great burger and a drink. You will not regret it.

Had burgers at Stacked for he first time. A lot of choices for toppings. You can order one from the menu as well as build your own. Good value for the dollar spent. Nice choice of craft beers on tap and then standards in bottles. Full bar as well. Small so you might have to wait but the wait is worth it. Recommend upgrading your burger to the grass fed. Excellent flavor. Will be back again.

Best place in town for burgers and beer. They have a great variety of specialty burgers that all sound so delicious. What's even better though, is the fact that give you the option to build your own burger, whatever way you want, with whatever you want on it! The process is so easy and my order always comes out perfect! Their fries and apps are also pretty tasty and I always leave here so full! Can't wait to go back!

Dedicated to hamburgers! Choose from a dozen signature burgers or take a full page selection sheet and design your own. Burgers and service were both first rate. The bar area is a bit cramped and noisy but the back room is much better for conversation and enjoying the meal. Street parking. Can be a wait for a table at peak times.
