Pancakes were hard. Tomatoes were sour. Burger was overdone. Alfredo sauce tasted like milk. The egg on the wall outside of the building tasted better than the ones inside. Ranch was watered down. Noodles was overdone. Terrible service. Took forever to get our food and it all didn’t get out at a time.

Springfield Family Restaurant was very good. The coffee was tasty and hot and the food portions were really big (huge omelets and pancakes). I could tell this was also a place where locals frequent and the wait staff knew their names. We really enjoyed our breakfast!

Breakfast menu items were all really nice. My friends and I went there for breakfast before two of our friends' flight. Service was awesome. Tables are small and close together but it is a small place so that's expected. The food was served hot and tasty. Coffee hugs were always full. Prices were very fair. Overall it's a good place to eat.

We went here thinking the name meant this would be a unique family establishment with good down home cooking. Instead, we had processed from a box or can gravy and waffles. Service was also some of the worst we’ve ever experienced. Waitress was rude and condescending. Will never be going back here and will surely make sure we let others know as well.

Our first visit there was very pleasant. The staff was very friendly and our waitress was on top of things. Never ran out of coffee or water. Portions are pretty large and priced well. Cozy atmosphere. Only reason for four stars and not five is their corn beef hash was like hormel or some type. Which is not bad but we were hoping for some real good, home made hash.

Love this place. We go here every time we have a 5K for breakfast- so nice and food is always good. They are super helpful and mindful of the kids and never serve the coffee near them which is super nice. Sometimes parking can be a bit tough because they're busy, but that's because it's a great place to eat!

The service was shotty and half our meal wasnt even entered after we gave the order 2 times and when we had to ask for the rest of our order it took 15 min to get it and our daughter had to sit and wait for her food after everyone else sat there and ate I also place an order the same time to be ready to go never did we receive that order we will never return this was the worst experience I have ever had. Sure wish it would have changed.

This used to be Ziggy's on Campbell but now it's the Springfield Family Restaurant. The food is good. You can get a burger anytime they're open which is good for me because I don't eat breakfast food during breakfast time. Service was great she was very accommodating to my very strange order. LOL will be back to eat again!

The food was just okay. The upcharge for my toast wasn't worth it. The grits looked and tasted like they had been sitting for a bit. The service was slow, but they were pretty busy. Overall, pretty unremarkable. My husband and son both asked me to remember not go there again. They didn't like it at all.

This place was okay as far as food and service go. However, this is definitely an older person’s establishment. I was the youngest person in the whole building outside of children with their grandparents. So, be aware of that before coming in and tasting the food. Otherwise, give this place a shot. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed on the breakfast.

I've been here twice since I've lived in Springfield. First time I had a lovely experience and had a wonderful waitress. Today we had a very snide waitress who when I ask for pancakes instead of the cinnamon swirl bread told me "No unless you wanna get charged more." Then as we proceed to get checked out the cashier was very rude when the credit card we were using didn't swipe. It's expired in September and haven't had the chance to get a new card with a strip. So we tell her we can read the numbers to her and she said "well that cards just disgusting I just can't believe that" gets up close to my boyfriends face and says "you need to get a new card. That's just awful." And then yelled across the room to her manager trying to figure the cash register out. I tried to help and she gets snide for me trying to help. Needless to say I was very disappointed and don't plan on ever coming back.

We went here because we frequented it in the past and always had a good to great experience. We went during a slow period and placed our order. The sweet tea was sour (spoiled), the half of the food was inedible due to being overcooked, was missing 2 orders and had to wait for them. The waiter couldn't comprehend half of what was said. I think that we will be looking for another restaurant to frequent when we come down. Only reason for 1 star, couldn't give a 1/2.

Mozzarella sticks were not worth over $8. Sonic has way better. Burgers were great! Was surprised when I saw a singles used for cheese rather than a slice of cheddar cheese, which I expect at a restaurant for a single burger price of over $8. Regardless, it was yummy. ALL of the kids meals are the same price $4.29. Who wants to pay that for a pancake! The fries are awesome! Very crispy! Staff was friendly.

I've been twice and it has been delicious both times! The waiters are very friendly. There is a wait sometimes on weekends during busy times. Their cinnamon swirl bread is SO good and you can buy a whole loaf of it for a great price

The wait to be seated or noticed was far to long for any kind of restaurant. If it weren't for us asking if we can be seated by catching someone walking by we still would've been standing there. The food was decent, wasn't like blown you away kind of deal to help with the experience up front. We arrived around 1050am today and it was not really busy at all. We got seated in a completely empty section. Server was John and was unprofessional and probably should search for a career that brings a happiness. As you could tell he absolutely hates his job. Next we received the food.. which was luke warm. I went to get silverware out and there was food literally on my fork. The server hands me another silverware packet. He doesn't even apologize. The skillet should have definitely been hot and the French toast combo should have been as well. Complete total waist of $30. We will not be returning.. we actually used to enjoy eating here, but I do believe this establishment is going downhill.

My gf and I went about 5 on a Saturday. There was only one other couple in the whole place. We both ordered the bbq prime rib burger for about $10. While we were waiting we were offered complimentary soup (beef noodle barley). Service was great, the place was clean. We will definitely go back next time we are in Springfield.

Almost everything was perfect! I ordered the chicken avocado burger and got an over medium egg on the side and it was lovely. It came with french fries. The fries were a little cold and unsalted, but they still tasted great! The chicken was a little tough as well. However, the whole experience was awesome. The waitress was fast and attentive, as well as on the ball for meeting our every need. I absolutely loved the atmosphere.

I gave Springfield Family Restaurant four stars because it's good. The prices are reasonable. Went there for breakfast and the service was also good. I was stuck between three and four stars so I always go with the higher star for an establishment. My only complaint is that the coffee was on the weak side. Other than that give it a try. Good family breakfast at affordable prices in the heart of the Queen City.
