Absolutely FANTASTIC experience. I couldn't be happier. I had the smoked brisket gyro with fries and fried cabbage. All of which were absolutely PHENOMENAL! Friendly people from the minute I walked through the door until I was finished eating. Little to no wait and the food was hot and fresh. Legitimately a hidden gem of Columbia. If you have one restaurant to choose from for the month and you don't eat here you are making a HUGE mistake. From prices to setting and food quality this place has to be experienced. It's almost too good to be true but I'm telling you it's real.

My husband and I went for lunch and everything was great! We had the toasted ravioli appetizer which comes with beef brisket and the sauce was delicious. I had the beef brisket gyro special and he had the pork tenderloin sandwich special. They were both awesome and the tenderloin was huge! Service was prompt and very friendly. We will definitely be back!

This chubby girl knows her food. So you can trust me when I say this place was great!! Food was amazing, service was perfect! My husband had ribs and I had the tenderloin, both perfectly seasoned and cooked. Will definitely be back next time we're in town.

We finally made it McLank's and the food did not disappoint. I foolishly asked for a steak knife for my pork steak and the owner said I would be able to cut it with my butter knife, which I did easily. Everyone enjoyed their food, but my favorite was the ravioli and burnt ends in BBQ sauce, a must try.

The food here is great and I've never had to wait for a table. Great service every time I've been in and the prices are incredibly reasonable. Try the mashed potatoes with your choice of white or brown gravy. Haven't been in early enough to try breakfast yet but the sandwiches and burgers are fantastic. Overall, a real local hidden gem.

Only about 8 items on the menu.Due to lack of options i ordered the loaded potato "soup" which was basically a bowl of mashed potatoes with a little bacon and shredded cheese added, it certainly was not soup. I saw 2 customers come in, look at the menu and then leave. Had I not already gotten a drink I would have done the same. I wont be going back.

We just had the best lunch here today! Tenderloin was amazing, mushroom and swiss burger was delicious, and the catfish? OMG! It was perfect. Fresh and friendly. We will be back, and we’re bringing friends and family. Next time? Chicken and waffles.

This place reminds me of the places I ate at as a kid. Back when food was really good. It's hard to find a good tenderloin sandwich in Columbia, but McLanks has one. All the food is absolutely delicious.

After remodel looks nice clean and much brighter.. Food menu Much smaller than was before which is fine but During our visit Did notice 4 topper depart due to no Burger or kids Menu. So I hope that after a little more practice and adjustments even 3 more items on menu should be easy. Chicken was Good not to over cooked Veggie were yummy and Potato Soup tasty. Service Good and was nice to see busy. We will return..

We had a very good dinner at McLanks. One person in our party had the Shrimp salad, another had the Pork Steak and two of us had the Crank Sando ( Brisket sandwich with an egg, etc.). All four meals were good and large portions, but we all agreed that the wings were most excellent! Excellent service of exceptional food in clean and open space. Give it a try you will not be disappointed.

I thought this place was going to be better since it was revamped by Robert Irving. The first attempt to visit after revamp it was closed due to gas line break. The second attempt The service was no different than prior experiences sub par. Now with higher prices and less menu options. I was really wanting to see this small business succeed.

One star, because I can choose zero. The WORST and I mean WORST service I have ever experienced in my life. We went in with a group of 10, but a couple people shared their food-so not many orders. We had an hour and a half wait- and hour in the server comes out and says it will be 15 minutes longer for our biscuits-no biggie. We thought it would only be 15 extra minutes. No we waited another hour ++ for our food. When we finally got our food some of us had to wait another 15 minutes for food-then they forgot eggs couldn’t remember who got eggs so just brought eggs out on a plate and had us split it up on to our own plates. On top of that they said they didn’t have any wheat toast, and then brought out wheat toast after giving others Texas toast. Then there was hair in food, the food was not even good. Made wrong, we had to ask for ketchup or anything else several times. Then on top of it we didn’t even get a discount. I waisted HOURS at this poor establishment. I will tell everyone not to go here.

I recently stood waiting to be seated for 7 or 8 minutes and no customers were in the restaurant. Finally a guy came out and said, "How is it going"? How about acknowledging that I want to eat? Or that somehow none of your employees are paying attention? I said I was fine and left. Abysmal service and the chance they had to approach me respectfully was blown. I'll never go there again

I've been to the restaurant about 6 or 7 times. The first 3 times had a wonderful experience, last 3 not so much. One time waited at counter to place a take out order and no one ever came out of the back to take my order so I left. Decided to give it another try placed a to go order over the phone . I get there to pick it up and the person that took it never put it in. Today I go there to place a take out order and the person that is supposed to be taking the order is on the phone and the other person is new and doesn't know how to take orders. That was my finally straw. Wont be back. There food is good, but the service is horrible.

Good food, friendly, fast service, decent prices. Crazy Story- When we pulled up the cops were surrounding the place. Turns out a guy Overdosed at the wheel and hit the curb by the restaurant. His friends left him for dead and the staff of Mclanks pulled him out and kept him alive with CPR until the cops arrived. So that's extremely badass, go support these guys now.

Stopped by today to try out for the first time at 11am. The doors were locked and no answer to the number listed. It was dark inside and appeared to be completely empty. Did you move to a new location and change phone numbers? I would love to try you guys out and leave better than 3 star rating. I have been told great things about your restaurant and heard you were recently a spot light in a television show.

I am a big fan of Robert Irvine and "Restaurant Impossible" so when I had business in Columbia, I had to check out McLanks. I had the catfish with greens. The catfish was prepared and seasoned perfectly and the greens were delicious! It is in an out of the way corner of Columbia that time forgot, so seek it out and give it a try!

THE WINGS. They have the best wings I've ever had!!! The House Special (sauteéd chicken with cheese, peppers and onion) was delicious and it's a great low carb option since I'm on a diet. I'll be back for sure.

Ate here for the first time tonight. Don't have a previous experience to compare it to, but this visit was amazing. Appetizers- wings and ravioli - were excellent. The root beer barbecue is... just no words! The catfish was fresh! Everything was great, including the service. I really hope Columbia folks support McLanks. Another local establishment to visit.

Server was nice enough and decent prices. Place seemed empty besides another group of 4 arrived at the same time as our 3. After a 45 minute wait we received our food with one wrong side and had to ask for two others. We also received Texas toast instead of rolls and were told the menu hadn't been updated yet which would have been nice to know. Food was decent but you're going to scrape excess cheese off the house special. We were not checked on again until we were finished. Server did take 50% off for the experience hence the extra star.

Not only was our order messed up as in we did not receive the appetizer, I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries, no bacon and the fries were still half frozen or at least cold for something that was to be fried. To top it off there was at least one hair in my food. They did offer to remake it but my appetite was ruined by that point. They did take my part off the bill. I ended up going to a fast food restaurant for dinner. Plus there were flies all over the front of the place, so lord knows what the kitchen looked like. I will not be returning there again.

We were the only ones in the whole place.. it took over 45 minutes for our breakfast plate, then they tell us that they are out of homefries.. we waited an addtional 30 mins to get hashbrowns.. SLOOOOOOOW service.. there is nonway it takes over an hour to cook eggs, pancakes, sausage and hasbrowns.. i do not suggest this place you are are on any time frame.. On the other hand most of the food tasted alright.

I had a craving for good fried chicken and McLanks was perfect- steaming hot and delicious with a thin, crisp crust and tender meat. Heaping, tasty mashed potatoes and gravy, homemade mac- and- cheese. Liked the salad. Service was sweet and quick.
