Great ambiance and drinks! I went when there was happy hour (prices are decent). Stood at the bar for a couple of hours with a relative and had drinks and some appetizers. Everything was great and tasty. The bartender was super friendly and attentive. The environment has a speak easy type of feel to it, which I always think is pretty cool. Definitely would recommend.

My lady and I were very excited to enjoy our date night here tonight and left overwhelmingly disappointed! We had a 7:15 reservation and were on time and promptly seated at a table. We then watched as two other couples came in after us and shortly after being seated were met with their servers. 20 minutes passed and our presence at the table was not even acknowledged with eye contact much less a glass of water. We are big on customer service and unfortunately here our patronage was not valued. I’m very disappointed to have to write such a review, but Lucas Grille I hope that at the very least you acknowledge that all of your guests should be promptly acknowledged in some way or form.

Took my girlfriend here for valentine's day, great service and fantastic v-day menu. The lobster ravioli was amazing and the service was perfect, prompt, quiet, and discreet. The food was excellent, especially my chocolate pate and that evening's house salad. However, part of my girlfriend's lobster fettuccine was inedible and her lobster was overcooked. Would go again and recommend to a friend for a dimly lit but very classy date night. Bring $8 for valet parking, trust us.

It was a great experience! The food was delicious, the staff friendly and the environment nice. I got the buffalo burger with sweet potato fries and it was top notch. The beer selection was decent and they carry local brews. The environment was comfortable and clean and there are sofas around some of the tables. I highly recommend and I'll be back :)

The food would have been great but it was overly salted. I ordered scallops my wife had the duck while the flavor profile would have been great there was just way too much salt in both meals. We will not be going back, it's a shame because really without the salt it would have been nice. We did complain and nothing was done.

Excellent food!! After a long day/night preparing for a local fashion show, my friend and I were very hungry so we decided to eat here. The service was a little slow (after 11pm) but the food was well worth the wait. The manager was so respectful & considered to military personnel, which is definitely a breath of fresh air, especially for STL. I will eat here & recommend others to this restaurant any day. Purchased a groupon and went to the restaurant. The waitress added 20% gratuity for just 2 people and said it's mandatory when you use a groupon. I asked the manager and he confirmed it and said it says that when you purchase the groupon, but it doesn't! If your going to scam people through groupon then you don't deserve peoples patronage even without a groupon!

The food & service were excellent. However, the server, Bettina, tried to steal two waya from us. First, when she realized we gave her $200 in cash for a $139.21 bill, she said, “I’ll be right back with your change.” Then she proceeded to talk and laugh with us for 5 to 10 minutes then walked away saying “Have a nice night.” We believe her hope is that we had enough to drink that after the conversation we would completely forget we had change coming. When she realized we weren’t leaving until we got our change, she finally brought it over and short changed us by $20.79 leaving us only $40 in change in small bills consisting of a twenty, 3 fives and 5 ones. She proceeded to walk away in a hurry. Then when we counted our change and realized we were short changed. I could see her watching us from the corner of the bar. We counted it several times and compared it to the receipt. I was about to get up and go let her know we were short changed but, when she realized we knew, she came running over and said, “Oh sorry. I just realized I shortchanged you $20. Have a nice night.” and ran off again. What a scam! We would have tipped her over 20%, probably at least $30. We foolishly still left her $25. I totally regret this after rethinking this over and over and realizing she knew exactly what she was doing and it was intentional. If we were smarter, we would’ve left her a note and left her nothing and told her that her tip was not to steal from customers.

Very good place for a business lunch or dinner. The food was great the two times I went- once for a business lunch the other for a more casual but still business dinner. The burgers were solid looking. I had the pizza for lunch, it was great. The salads and soups also looked really good. Overall there was not a bad meal out of the 10 plus meals I saw ordered. The Brussel sprouts and grits were particularly good. Definitely recommend it if in the area.

We had a very large group (more than 20) so I expected the service to be terrible. I was pleasantly surprised. The service was fast and the atmosphere was perfect. I had the salmon. It was soooo good. It was a little on the pricey side for me but it was good for a special occasion dinner.

I was not impressed with the high priced food. It took a while for our salads to come and while we could have been passified with the great bread they had we didn't get it until well after our meal arrived. My fries were cold so I had to wait on another order which I must say were very good. I ordered a drink which l never received. So my first time at Lucas Park Grille was not very impressive. But... the food was tasty.

Hosted our large group. The goat cheese spread with crostini was fantastic. The toasted walnuts were so good I actually talked about then to the folks at my table! They didn't seem to care...but you should. Perfectly toasting walnuts requires attention to detail. It seemed that Lucas Park has attention to detail. It's definitely upscale without being flashy or pompous and the food - from what I tasted and heard - is quite good.

This was a well paced dinner. Had the charcuterie plate to start. Main was beef short ribs bourguinon. It was so good! Sauteed spinach was ok. Gooey butter cake was good too but the beef was the star. I would eat here again. Nice dark interior. Patio was full but looked delightful.

I thought I wanted a drink but I've been here for forty minutes and watched the other wait staff take care of his tables. Nevertheless I would t recommend this business to anyone. One of the best fancy restaurants downtown if you're not willing to be cheap, but not suit and tie fancy needed though. The service and the food is remarkable, and the drinks are great as well. The place is well run and the decor is top notch as well. The server last night was very knowlegable and helpful with our stay and made our stay very warm and pleasant. I had some healthier dinner this time but the current menu did have elk meat so that is definitely a pick for next time.

We had an amazing meal last night at Lucas Park Grille. My guy had the house salad which comes with bleu cheese (which is why I got the caesar salad). It really doesn't matter what you get for your meal, just make sure you leave room for the gooey butter cake. OMG! This is something I typically pass on, but do not miss this here. The gooey butter cake here is not that ball of sugar and butter you may expect, it is light with a balance of flavors that are not just sweet on top of sweet. Don't miss a trip, even if it's just for this wonderful treat.

Do NOT get the power bowl. I spent $10 on a pile of rice and veggies floating in butter. Ponzu sauce is supposed to have more than just butter as an ingredient. They should really take this off the menu or fix the sauce.

I went to Lucas Park Grille for the first time and it was for a birthday party. It was a nice ambiance, there's a private room for large parties which was good. I ordered the lobster Mac n cheese which was really flavorful. Just the right amount. The butter that they serve with the bread was tasty as well.

Service was horrible. I ordered a ribeye and they gave me a flank, like I didnt know my cuts of steak. Waiter had a bad attitude for it to be a high class restaurant. Food placement was not appealing at all. I will not be going back. Ever. If thats fine dining i would rather stick to fast. The waiter had the nerve to tell me he was gonna recook my steak and not make a new after i told him it wasnt done.

When me and my wife arrived at Lucas Park Grille we had to look for someone to sit us. When seated we was brought a wet menu with nothing else being said. While wait for a server a person who never gave me his name came up asking did we order the margarita? I don't know if he ever found the table with the margarita but he did finally brought me a dry menu. My martini taste it like straight and vodka. I drink martinis often at many different places but I never had to ask for a olive. It seemed like the only time the service got better is when the check came out. He even acknowledge that we been sitting there for a long time before came over but offered us no compensation or to speak to a manager. Ather paying that check he was going to sit there and watch TV for a little longer and finish our drinks but strangely enough they turned off televisions that was pointing in that direction. All and all if I had to choose it over again I would have ate at the partition that was on the corner outside I felt like I would have got better service there in the rain.

Fantastic experience! Service was on point, our food was perfect and the dessert was exceptional. My fiance ordered the elk and it was the best he'd ever had. Tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. This is one of my all time favourite bars & clubs in the Saint Louis Area. The place is great, and the outdoor seating is really nice. Great place to hangout Saturday night and Sunday morning. Like all bars & clubs, I really love the place, but the decibel level of the "music" can be deafening and dangerous, it's not assumption of risk to me. Be careful, its got to be over 120db a lot of the time on weekends!

If you haven't been here you absolutely have to. Lucas park is the only place left in Saint Louis that has class. It's not the drinks or the outstanding food that make this place a true gem , it's the staff and Michael White, the VIP host. Each time I am there, Michael makes me feel like I am royalty and truly sets the definition of what a VIP host should be like. If it wasn't for Michael White, I propably wouldn't come out at all. Very well known in the Saint Louis community, make sure to stop by and say hi to Michael if you ever find yourself off Washington ave.

Many entrees doesn't come with a side and available sides doesn't go well with the dish. It's little overpriced for the portion. Stopped by for an early dinner during the home opener. The restaurant is very spacious and has multiple dinning areas for parties or more intimate meals. They have a large patio with tables, couches, and a fireplace. Lucas Park also has a large bar to dine and drink at. The menu isn't the biggest but they make up for it with quality. From our appetizers to our meals everyone enjoyed the food and left full and happy. The smoked chicken meatballs and short rib sliders were great starters. The tenderloin was perfectly cooked & seasoned. The half chicken was juicy and tender. The restaurant has a great open cozy atmosphere with lots of big windows for natural light and window seat cushioned with throw pillows. Service was just as good as the food and atmosphere, we will definitely return next time we are in town.

Overall. I think I came at a bad night. I was seated pretty fast however it took about 20min to be looked at. It wasn't till I flagged someone down that I got someone's attention. The overall menu was ok, and this really isn't a place for kids, However it does give you a setting to have a close conversation. The food came hot 16 min later after ordering and at the time was the redeeming part of the experience, and the waitress was nice and attentive when she got to us. Overall a good time and a nice meal. I will return.

It has a hip, Washington Avenue vibe. We were there on a Thursday night for a private party and the place was pretty lively. It as clean and the food was very good.
